Growing up one of Merope's favourite stories was called " The True Bride" and her Grandfather was often willing to retell it over and over again and again. But the first time she read the story is one of her fondest memories; sitting on warmed stone floor next to the fire with Carden, Dog and Amanita as their Grandfather hovered over to spin his romantic tale.

ok this is making me analysed how my si's are reacting and why they like it so much

Firstly we have my Trese si Melosa who isn't interested in the blood, but is interested in the violence cus Dominic does it for her. For Melosa its the dedication that he shows to her. She's his wife, the most important person in his life - he would worship her, die for her, kill for her (all of which she knows) and all this worship feeds into a recently developed god complex.

Secondly is Mary, my 80/90s si.

For her I don't think isn't actually interested in the blood or the act itself but in Marko's reaction to it (eg his physical exertion). He's panting, he's flushed, baby blue eyes wide and he looks sexy what the fuc-

and lastly of course is Merope, who is my mega crossover si. For her Its the blood dripping off them, the physical excretion, the fact that they did that for her.

Do I know why she this way? No though it's most likely her Baobhan Sith and Addams nature taking over. Do I imagine her taking her lover's face in her hand and licking the blood off before kissing them like the vampire lovers in the first couple of episodes of Hellsing?

Yes yes I do.

Imagine your murderous F/O committing ludicrous, bloody acts of violence just for you. They're flushed with exertion, breathing hard, half covered in streaks and drops of thick blood, body on display for you along with the grim results of their rampage.

Ok inspired by one of @tex-treasures latest post here about self insert's having fos that I myself don't have.

So for Madison I can see her having a few like the Brides of Dracula and Jane Eyre as platonic/ queerplatonic fos. I could see her having a few Shakespearean fos like Hermia from A Midsummer Night's Dream. Her own self insert being a servants to Titania.

I know Marya and Merope would too but I'm struggling to think of who they would selfship with.

Mary would have a few comics and manga based fos, maybe a few from the Sandman comics, like Desire. I think she would Peter pan as a brother or a platonic fo.

What was it like to be an apprentice to Baba Yaga? What was your favorite thing she taught you?

Hiya Erin, thank you for sending this in.

You once told me about your time in Hell, and in return I will answer this.

So, in a word - Terrifying.

There is a reason why people don't go looking for her, why they don't go to Baba Yaga for help. I came to her seeking to learn for magic in a rather brash and arrogant move - the folly of youth I suppose. Time works differently in the realm she residents in so I can't really tell you how long I studied under her.

She taught me many things, things better suited for fairy tales and old forgotten tomes. There are things I have seen in her service that I can never speak of, things that I can never forget, no matter how much I scrub. I am no stranger of bloodshed nor I am to madness but she.....

I was (am) afraid of her.

( Once again thank you so much for sending this in!! I really like analysing/ thinking up the relationship that my self inserts have with non fos characters. So you can understand how excited I was when you send this in. )

Hiya Santiago!! Thank you so much for sending this in.

For these two I have been thinking (laughing manically) of them meeting for the first time in Hogwarts. The two of them kinda knew each other from Camp Half Blood as Howl was a son of Aphrodite and Merope was one of the unclaimed kids. She already cultivated a reputation as a friendly if not weirdly macabre quiet kid.

I've mainly imagined her doing something violent before seeing a familiar face and running up to Howl's horror struck form as he wonders which God cursed him.
