PARENT! KOMAHINA COMFORTING CHILD READER

Hajime and Nagito were snuggled up on the couch watching some show, you couldn't quite tell because of the tears that blurred your vision. hearing your door open, Nagito looked over the couch over to you. your small shaking frame standing in the walkway sniffling, gently nudging Hajime awake(to no avail), nervous that his luck may have caused something bad to happen to you. "daddy..?" you call out, not to any one specific parent; you just needed the comfort of knowing they were there. "we're here kiddo" Nagito calls out to you, knowing he probably wouldn't be the best parent to handle the situation, but what choice did he really have at this point as you were now standing in front of him teary-eyed...with a still sleeping Hajime besides him.

"Another nightmare, my little hope..?" 'another' nightmare.. because this unfortunately was a normal occurrence. You nodded your head, voice caught in your throat, and he lifted you up into his arms, snuggling your snotty face into his shirt(kinda gross, but he didn't mind too much). "y'know,," he starts "i've had some nightmar-" he gets cut off by, a now very awake Hajime, covering his mouth with a hand. "wha- dID YOU JUST LICK MY HAND??" this elicits a giggle from you, and Nagito shrugs. Hajime sighs, wiping his hand off "eugh...anyways.." he pats your head with his NOT licked hand, " 'nother nighmare..? you wanna talk about it, kiddo?"

you think back to your dream. it was a terrible, terrible dream. you didn't want to think about it, but it was almost impossible not to.. "you dove have to, of course" he adds, sensing your hesitance.

you nestled further into Nagito's arms, you took a deep breath and tried to collect your scrambled thoughts. the nightmare still lingered vividly in your mind, but the warmth of being held by your two fathers helped to ground you. "it was really bad...." you hid your face as you contemplated wether or not to explain the dream to them... explain the large dark figures you had seen, how they had taken the two of them away while you were held back, forced to do nothing but watch.

Hajime stares at you for a second or two, waiting for some type of response "...you don't HAVE to say anything." he says in a rather matter-of-fact voice(although he always sorta has that tone). you snuggle into Nagito again, and he pats your back. "we'll always be here for you" Hajime comforts "well..-" Nagito starts, Hajime shoots him a glare that shuts him up pretty quickly.

As the tension eases with Hajime's assurance and Nagito's somewhat awkward attempt at support, you feel a bit more at ease. Despite the lingering unease from the nightmare, the presence of your fathers comforts you enough to feel sleepy again.

As you drift back into a more peaceful state, Nagito and Hajime exchange a glance, silently communicating their concern for you. Hajime adjusts himself on the couch so he can wrap an arm around both you and Nagito, creating a cozy little family huddle. you distinctly feel Nagito petting your hair, despite your eyes being closed, you can tell from the tenderness and boney fingers.. then he swiches off with Hajime it seems, though you aren't sure why.. maybe he had fallen asleep?

you hear the buzzing of their movie restarting as you drift off again, comforted knowing that the both of them are still there and would NEVER leave your side...

Hajime is Dr. Romani. This is going to connect with Izuru later. But still, of course Hajime is one of the dealy beloved human characters of Fgo.

Chiaki is Frankenstein's Monster (call her Fran). She looks great and all but besides the love of electricity and childlike mannerisms, not sure Chiaki fits Fran's animal like berserkness and tragic need for love.

Mahiru is Boudica. I can say for certainty this is solely due to Red hair and mother like qualities. Pretty sure we shouldn't compare Mahiru to someone whose entire purpose in Fgo is being that meme person who really hates the Roman Empire (ironically the founder of Rome is her best partner in battle), has big boobs, has a terrible skillset in battle, and is defined by her backstory of losing the war against the Roman Empire and had to watch her daughters be relentlessly raped by them before most likely being forced to join them which lead to her falling into despair and killing herself.

Ibuki is Nobunaga. This is solely cuz of the amount of fourth wall breaking chibi style comedic relief and crazy hijinks. (Nobu Nobu Nobu? Nobu Nobu Nobu Nobu Nobu! Nobu? Nobu Nobu! Nobu...)

Mikan is Skadi. I have no idea why. What does shy and clumsy as fuck Mikan have in common with a wise nordic giantess with insecurities about being single and unmarried?

Hiyoko is BB. BB and Hiyoko might both be detestable trollish pieces of shit who keep fucking people over and getting away with it, but comparing Hiyoko to essentially AI Junko Enoshima on crack is a bit too far.

Kazuichi is Nikola Tesla. Electricity. Master Inventor. Eccentric mofo. I approve.

Sonia is Marie Antoinette. Princess/Queen like character. I can see that. (Tho we should also try to look out for Marie Alter cuz that bitch is crazy as fuck and wants everyone to experience how it felt when the guillotine beheaded her). Tho Sonia wishes she was as much a cinnamon roll as Marie.

Gundham is Ozymandias/Rameses II. Boisterous mofos collide. I approve. (Sidenote: Ozy is voiced by Dio. KONO OZY DA!!!)

Izuru is of course Dr. Roman's true identity as King Solomon, King and Progenitor of All Magic. All magic apparently stems from him, motherfuckers. All hail the character we will never get and wish he would come back.

Nagito is Edmund Dantes. Only cuz of Memes based on similar looks. Nagito has nothing on Dantes's year long pursuit for revenge. Tho I guess they both were "saved" by the woman they loved most in the world.

Twogami is Julius Caesar. Only cuz they are chubby charismatic likeable people.

Peko is Tomoe. FUCK YEAH I APPROVE. Peko would totally be Tomoe. Why do you think I made Tomoe her Persona in my headcanon. It fits her SO MUCH TO A T.

Fuyuhiko is Rama. Why? What does Fuyu have in common with a guy who kills demon kings with an army of monkeys cuz they stole his wife yet was also cursed to die whenever him and his wife would ever meet? (Poor Rama in fgo, all he wants is to be with his wife again but destiny keeps screwing him over by killing him seconds before his wife reaches where he is).

Nekomaru is Iskandar/Alexander the Great. Solely due to being super muscular likeable badass motivators of living a great life. Nekomaru clearly doesn't want to conquer lands and rule the world.

Akane is Francis Drake. Only cuz of giant cleavage window alone. Akane ain't no pirate queen with literal flying sea ships with giant laser cannons.

And Teruteru is Fergus. Only because both of them are a super perverts with mindsets primarily filled only about banging women and having sex. Teru is no ripped Chad with a drill sword that shoots rainbow lasers from the ground. (Sidenote: Fergus's drill sword, Caladbolg, translates to "Hard Blade". Yes it's a dick joke.")

Pain and sorrow seemed to follow Lapis everywhere she went, never threading too far behind. She was used to it, really;

Adapting was never easy for her, changes shocking her gem to the core and leaving her feeling far to venerable and exposed than she'd like to admit;

It all happened too fast yet too slow. She felt all of it, the bone chilling sensation of her body being mutilated against her will making her light-made intestines curl in disgust;

While her memory of the incident was blurry and scattered, the feeling of pure panic and terror couldn't seem to leave her head even long after being brought back;

It didn't help that her physical form was now tarnished, reminding her of the incident whenever she looked at her reflection;

She now had numerous irregular spots and cracks of gold scattered around her blue skin, reflecting in the light like rivers at sunrise. Some may say they're beautiful. To her, they seemed to only be a reminder of yet another tragedy;

Aside from the spots of gold, she could now feel slight bumps resembling fish scales on some parts of her body as well as webbed fingers and two long whisker-like antenas hanging loosely from her crown, swaying gently with her movements;

She looked aquatic, like an odd mermaid crossing the lands against all odds;

At first, she shut herself out, refusing to interact with anyone but Steven, though even that seemed to be a challenge when his eyes reflected her new, strange appearance right back at her;

But Steven was always determined to help his loved ones through it all, never giving up on them, even when they lash out and shut it all out and make it as difficult as it can be;

It stated with Peridot, when the barn was rebuild and their little oasis back in it's intended place. And although Lapis was very adamant on never speaking to another gem again, Peridot kept trying to get her best to support her without letting her fall back into her lonely ways;

Everyday Peridot would come to Lapis's room to talk her ear off and offer comfort. Slowly but surely she got her trust back.

Whenever Lapis would feel self-conscious about her looks, Peridot would do something to make herself look as ridiculous as possible. Cover herself in mud, draw all over herself, style her hair into progressively more ridiculous shapes.

Whenever she was haunted by the memories of her past traumas, Peridot would be there to calm her down, wrapping her up in a blanket like a burrito and putting on some kind of old movie to distract her friend from the terrible thought roaming through her head;

She started going out more, flying around the area to take in the beauty of earth or to help with the creation of little homeworld;

She stopped fearing her reflection and started to appreciate the little parts of herself she oh so hated beforehand;

She created and vented her feelings out by arts and crafts, pouring all that negativity into pieces both haunted and gorgeous;

And by the time they found out that Yellow Diamond could reverse her appearance back to it's original form, she had grown to appreciate it enough to refuse the offer;

Some days were better and some were worse, but she now had a family that cared about her deeply and kived her just the way she was;

She didn't need to hide and run anymore, she could count on them to pull her out of the deep ends whenever she felt like she was drowning;

She was healing slowly and feeling a little more okay each day, untill the day she can say she's truly happy again.

Ok so this was a little longer than I expected to write, but man, I got way too into it lmao

- So much love and affection for S/o.

- Heck, they get a bit jealous whenever S/o decide on the other. (Example: Kokichi gets jealous over S/o picking Kaito to hangout with.)

- They would sometimes give small kisses on S/o’s cheek, only the cheek. Okay.

The anatomist trio with a tall and pretty s/o that is also too pure and innocent:

Byakuya Togami:

* If it turns out your taller than him Byakuya wouldn’t like this, especially if you wear high heels a lot

* He ends up investing in some shoes with a taller heel, so he can be at least an inch taller than you

* It may sound shallow, but he does care to some extent if your beautiful and luckily you are extremely pretty

*The only reason he would prefer a pretty s/o like you is to impress his family and if he’s going to take over the Byakuya enterprise he needs a beautiful s/o by his side to boost his image

* Now your innocent and pure nature is a bit of an annoyance to him because he constantly has to answer questions you should already know the answer too, but you don’t because of how innocent you are

* Now because your childlike nature you are constantly dragging Byakuya to childish things he missed out on as a child because of his unconventional childhood

* You may think he finds this annoying and he does, but deep down he enjoys it because he’s not used to doing things like this since he was never able to

* And as the relationship goes on you will notice that he protests much less when you drag him somewhere fun

* If you ever asked him a dirty question because you don’t know what it means he goes red with embarrassment

* He doesn’t know how to answer that and tells you not to say such crude things

* Even if you don’t know what it means

* When people try to take advantage of your innocent nature since you don’t understand when they are taking advantage of you

* Byakuya tells them that peasants like them should do it themselves and they shouldn’t bother people who are better than them, especially the future wife of the future leader of the Byakuya enterprise

* You may not be Byakuya’s ideal s/o, but he treats you with the upmost respect and care imaginable

* Even if he does come across as rude and hurtful at times he does love you a lot.

Kokichi Ouma:

* Now you being taller than him isn’t something he will be bothered by as much as Byakuya would be since he is used to being smaller than most people

* Will use your height to his advantage though. Whenever there’s something he can’t reach he will call you no matter how far you are just to waste your time, and slightly so he has an excuse to talk to you

* Will also jump on your back at any given moment, so he can be taller than everyone else and get carried around to places he wants to go to

* Now if your pretty he will give you compliments, but at the wrong times to make you flustered

* For example, if your at an important event he will whisper a compliment about how pretty you look tonight and then walk away leaving you flustered in front of whoever you are talking too

* He really loves your childish mentality will constantly play childish games with you, since he enjoys playing them as well

* Will also happily go with you to any childish venture you have install

* Kokichi will constantly make dirty jokes to you and if you ask him what he means he will just pat your head and tell you that you don’t need to know

* Making you frustrated since she won’t tell you and this just amuses Kokichi even more, especially if you start pouting

* If anyone tries to take advantage of your innocent nature he is dragging you away from them and setting up a prank for them later

* Just, so they get the message not to mess with you again

* Only he is allowed to do that

* Anyway the two of you are a perfect match and very a like, although Kokichi is a lot less innocent than you are, so don’t always listen to what he says.

Nagito Komaeda:

* Now if your taller than him he would not care he wouldn’t even pay any mind to it

* He wouldn’t feel insecure at all and if your taller than him by a large amount he will let you lean on his head or shoulder whenever you want too

* He will constantly compliment how pretty you are he doesn’t waste no second to hype you up, even if you weren’t conventionally attractive he would still do this

* Now with your childish nature he will just go with the flow with whatever you want to do and let you drag him anywhere you want to go, he will do all this with a smile excited to do something you love

* He likes your innocent nature since it reminds him that there is still hope left in this world

* So whenever you ask him a dirty question wanting to know what it means he panics and tells you it’s nothing for you to worry about and it’s better if you don’t know and forget about it

* If someone ever takes advantage of your nature he tells you to please not listen to them and gently drags you away from them. Has he is doing this he will look back at the perpetrator and give them a menacing stare, which can be quite intimidating to a stranger

* Overall, he really loves you no matter how you act and he really adores these personality traits that you have and wouldn’t change them for the world.

Awake in your arms (Nagito Komaeda x reader)

It’s another night.

Another night that you end up letting yourself stay awake despite your unending sleepiness. On the other hand, your boyfriend is sleeping soundly while laying on your chest, gently clinging onto you. He doesn’t usually sleep that well. A lot of the time he doesn’t even sleep at all, so seeing him look so peaceful gave you a smile on your face.

The killing game has been very stressful for you both. The amount of living students are lowering every few days. He feels like the luckiest man alive for having someone to love, someone to trust, someone to comfort him at his most vulnerable times. And you feel the same way.

You take some time to admire his features. His light eyelashes, his lips slightly ajar, his chest rising to the rhythm of your heartbeat-

Suddenly his body shot up and he started panting from fear as tears slowly form in his once restful eyes. “Nagito are you okay?!!” You try to help him steady his breathing and he desperately holds onto your shoulders as he tries to grasp the situation. He looks at you with worrisome eyes and gave you a hug. “I-I’m sorry I- *hic* I thought I lost y-*hic* you forever���” You embrace his shivering form tighter, hoping it could reassure him that he’s out of his nightmare.

“Nagito, it’s okay. I’m here, you’re here, we’re in your cottage, we’re safe…” He buries his head in your shoulder. You could feel his tears soaking a part of your shirt. “I’m.. I’m sorry you had t-to *hic* see me like this. Trash like me doesn’t des-deserve to *hic* waste your time an-and energy…” You rub circles on his back “You’re not wasting my time or energy, sweetheart. Do you mind telling me about your nightmare though?”

He rose from your embrace and tried to tell you, trying to keep his voice as steady as possible. “I was in the trial grounds and you were confessing to killing someone. I saw you getting dragged to your ex-execution. I should’ve been happy that you sacrificed yourself for hope, but all I felt is despair from s-seeing you about to die. You held out y-your hand to me, but I couldn’t catch it. I… couldn’t save you.” He lowered his head in remorse.

You pulled him in for a hug and stroked his hair. “It’s okay. As I said, we’re safe. I’ll be here with you for as long as I can. We’ll escape together, no matter what.” “But what if you die? What if my worthless self couldn’t stop you from that despairing fate? I don’t think I could live with myself after letting my precious hope die.” He started quietly weeping again, unable to let you go any longer.

“Please don’t say you’re worthless. I won’t let you or myself die. I promised that I won’t ever leave your side as long as I make you happy. We’re both gonna leave this island in one piece, I’ll make sure of that.” You cup his tear-filled face and kissed his forehead.

He was always eager to die, eager to die for worthy people. But as long as you’re here with him, as long as you wanted him to live, he would give his life another chance. “You’re so wonderful. How did I ever end up with such a shining hope like you?” You both laid back down on the bed again. “I should be asking the same thing. Sweet dreams, Nagi.” You give him one last kiss before closing your eyes “I love you, my hope.”

Because i just went to a piercing shop and changed the jewlery. But also yesterday i had makeup on around it so the makeup remover could have irritated it? I dont think its infected because its not warm or swollen or making me sweat. Its just a bit red, itchy, sore, and one side was bleeding when I woke up. ❤ He slithers around you a lot, just circling your body and looking you up and down.

❤ Generally he is just extremely cuddly. Outside of circling your body, he wraps his body around yours a lot anyway. Sometimes it's suffocating but it can also be comforting. It's fun to sleep there, his scales offer a smooth texture, the muscles of his arms make good pillows.

❤ Probably smells a little not-good sorry. Not bad. Just. Not good. Not a very human smell and you almost never get into it.

❤ He is extremely unpredictable, whenever he looks at you it is evident that he is thinking something - what is he thinking about? You have no idea - it's very scary.

❤ ^ Though sometimes you don't mind it because he has the most beautiful eyes.

❤ He's very protective of his territory, but he's also still a simp, when you crossed into his area he could not bring himself to hurt you. You were just so stunning.

❤ When you take interest in him it feels amazing - it make him feel beautiful.

❤ He squeaks when he's happy and he's almost always happy when he's around you, so you hear that noise a lot.

❤ Probably playfully bites you and it scares you every time. He never does it hard but he'll make it seem like he's attacking you before pulling back and laughing.

❤ Sunbathes a lot - he looks very pretty, plus he looks so soothed, you'd hate to disturb him.

❤ Would his snake body be pink? Or a neutral color like his natural hair? Hmm.

Gundham Tanaka

❤ He is always so isolated - so against you being close to him. He prefers to watch you from a distance (not a far one, only a few feet). Touching him is something that comes much later. He needs to trust you completely, first.

❤ Whenever he is sleeping there is always some sort of animal curled up beside him.

❤ ^ Usually birds perched on his wide shoulders or something.

❤ His eyes are multi colored and his tail is black and white.

❤ As a boyfriend, he is very very defensive of you. He is ready to fight any nearby naga or person.

❤ He is also very surprised that you even tolerate him. He speaks in a very loud voice and in a unique accent - are you not scared of that? Do you not discard those that are different?

❤ He likes your openness into accepting him. He is unlike any human nor any animal. Even amongst other naga's he is quite different.

❤ When he does feel comfortable with touching you he likes to rub your back and feel your spine. Your spine is different from his - it's interesting to him. He's never seen a human spine so close.

❤ He can be like such a teddy bear if there has been a long time in between visits. He'll act all grumpy and be like "why didn't you arrive when I summoned you".

❤ He still likes animals!!! A lot. He appreciate deer the most even though they're scared of him. Animals always run :(.

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu

❤ He is very strict about his territory so he did try to scare you away. He'll only ease up if he noticed that you're not budging at all. His chest will be raising and falling, confusion all over his expression, his eyebrows furrowed.

❤ The way into his heart is to navigate around his easy frustration.

❤ He'd never eat you, of course not, humans taste gross. He'd also never hurt you beyond smacking you with his tail.

❤ Seriously, he does not tolerate things hurting you. He would never get violent with you and this has been apparent since day one. It's strange, too, with how violent his words can be.

❤ It feels as if he's never actually been mad at you.

❤ He complains whenever you curl up against him (or specifically touching his bottom half) but he has never tried to stop you.

❤ In fact he seems to mildly enjoy soft strokes.

❤ He likes lengthening himself to be taller than you - he likes looming over you like he's some sort of predator.

❤ ^ But if you pretend to be / are scared of him he's going to get a little sad.

❤ He doesn't want you to hate him!! He loves you a lot.

❤ Hissing a lot, too, I imagine.

❤ Hissing even at trees when they bother him.

Nagito Komaeda

❤ He's so shy, always quiet, his darting around the environment as it hasn't been the same all his life. He just gets so nervous around you.

❤ Your favorite thing is seeing him in the sun. His tail is so white and he looks like he's glowing; like he's an angel. He's gorgeous.

❤ He licks your cheek a lot with that flickering tongue.

❤ He also presses his head against your chest and snuggles in.

❤ His green eyes are stunning and they make you nervous whenever he looks you in the eyes. His eyes are so intense.

❤ When you first discovered him it took him a second before he even noticed you. He was so distracted pre-occupying his busy mind.

❤ He has a really good sense of smell, but specifically when it comes to predators. You theorize that he can smell a lot but chooses to focus on predators so he can know when to have his guard up.

❤ He's hesitant to have you even look at other naga - not a jealousy thing, just a safety precaution. He'd fight somebody for you. He'd kill for you.

❤ If you sleep around him then he likes wrapping his whole body around you to make sure you(don't leave him)'re safe.

❤ I imagine he'd be very concerned about you leaving him for a human.

❤ He'd be insecure even as a snake.

Aoi Asahina

❤ She is constantly in a state of moving - she almost never calms down! She loves curling up into you or showing you things on her territory and whatnot (even if she's shown you before).

❤ And she likes to swim still. She submerges her tail to clean it, and she is more than willing to let you chill with her as she does.

❤ She will eat rodents in front of you and not bat an eye - it's a normal thing for her! Why should she want to hide it?

❤ If a wild predator tries to hurt you while she's not paying attention she will attack it and then afterwards start crying because she was so scared!

❤ But she's also very strong and very willing to protect you no matter what it takes. She puts herself in dangerous scenarios for you all the time, you have to be like BABE NO!

❤ She tries to kiss you with her bloody mouth after a meal.

❤ She does wash off the blood while swimming, though, don't worry.

❤ I wonder if boob-having naga's would wear coverings - probably not, right? If you want to knit her a sweater or something then she'd be happy because it's probably cold.

❤ If you want to give her some sweets too that would be nice - it's probably impossible to come by in nature.

Byakuya Togami

❤ Very assertive with his presence. He likes circling you, squinting his eyes down at you as if he's sneering.

❤ It's hard for him to catch food since he doesn't have glasses lol. He can't see very well.

❤ If you sneak up to him while he's sleeping and plant yourself next to him then he'll instinctively wrap his arms around you.

❤ His eyes light up whenever he sees you walking his way, even though he tries to hide it.

❤ His mouth hardly curls into a smile unless you do something like pet his tail or hold his cheek.

❤ He constantly likes throwing rodents your way, just playfully.

❤ He can catch birds mid-air too so there's that.

❤ He doesn't get very jealous and he doesn't care too much about when other predators come around (they know better than to mess with him).

❤ I think everyone in the ecosystem is scared of him.

❤ He's been very isolated for very long. You being around him makes him feel as if you are the queen to his king.

"Hey Y/N? I could've sworn this bottle was almost full, did you drink some?" You heard Nagito ask, a slight worried tone laced his words. His voice seemed louder than normal, but you shrugged it off and assumed it was because you were just groggy, you had only woken up a few moments ago after all. Nagito had allowed you to spend the night at his place last night since you usually had trouble sleeping alone. And as usual he insisted that you take his bed and he'd sleep on the couch, even though there was plenty of room for the both of you in the bed. You rubbed the sleep from your eyes and mumbled back to him, lazily trying to find the top of the bedsheets to poke your head out of.

"Whaaat bottllle?" You asked, but instead of a reply you were met with silence. You heard footsteps approach the door before Nagito called out again,

"Y/N? Are you in here?" He called, turning the doorknob and stepping inside the bedroom. You grumbled in frustration, at both your inability to find the edge of the bedsheet and that your sleepy mumbling wasn't heard.

"Yeeeeeeessss I'm heree, whaat do you waaant?" You groaned loudly, obviously frustrated. A jumble of curses were mumbled at the blanket, with about 100 more popping into your head each second.

"Y/N...?" You heard Nagito say, clear confusion and worry present in his voice.

"uuuuhhhgg, whaaat do you waaan-" You were cut off by the feeling of sharp cold air attacking your bare skin and a blinding light as the covers were suddenly yanked off of you. Once your eyes adjusted to the light you could make out Nagito's face looming high above you...

Wait...

That wasn't right...

Something wasn't right...

A glance around you confirmed your suspicions. Something was definitely wrong. Everything was huge, or rather, you were really small. Your gaze snapped back up to Nagito as an odd, choked sound came from his throat. You saw his already fair complexion grow sickeningly pale.

"Ah-aha ha. Well I guess that answers my question..." He choked out, a nervous laugh escaping his lips along with his words. You were too stunned to speak. Frozen in fear, you could only watch with a crude mix of horror and despair as gigantic hands slowly lowered down to you. Nagito shakily cupped his hands around your tiny form, trying his best to stay calm. He took a few deep breaths before finally speaking again.

"That bottle was supposed to have a concotion that would have a similar effect to an energy drink, but take much less of a toll on my body. Hajime mixed it up for me. But this morning-" his breath hitched in his throat and he took another deep breath. "this morning I got a very frantic text from Hajime. He... he first asked me if I drank any of it, because he had supposedly given me the wrong bottle, and the one i recieved was quite dangerous to consume. I can see why now." You could see Nagito was trying desparately to hold back his anxieties. He was clearly stressed. You on the other hand had calmed down significantly, you weren't afraid of Nagito hurting you, in fact you knew he would do everything in his power to make sure you didn't get hurt. But you could tell he didn't think the same. You placed a gentle hand to one of his fingers

“Hey, don’t worry Nags, it’ll be fine I promise. Once this stuff wears off I’ll be back to normal.” You said, hoping that would reassure him. But of course Nagito’s anxiety had found a way around that one.

“But what if I hurt you? Your so small! You could fall, or someone could step on you or—“ you cut him off before he could continue,

“I’ll be fine, I have you! Plus it’s not like this can last forever.”

“Ok, but for now can we keep this a secret from Hajime? I don’t want him to worry, he has enough to do as it is. His talents are needed elsewhere.” Nagito suggested. You were glad to hear that he hadn’t made a single self-deprecating comment in that sentence, it looked like he was getting better about that. He eyed you, waiting for a reply, so you supplied one with a giggle,

“Yea sure, but it’d be easier to keep it a secret from everyone while we’re at it. I don’t like the thought of other people seeing me this venerable. I trust you, but I’m not sure about others…” you trailed off and you saw a brief sparkle in Nagito’s eyes at the idea of you trusting him with something like this.

“Of cour—“ for the second time today Nagito was cut off, this time by a knock on the door. No doubt that was Hajime. A distant voice was heard, confirming that it was indeed Hajime.

“Hey Nagito? Uh, you ok? Your door’s unlocked, so I’m coming in.” And with that the sound of the door opening shot Nagito into panic mode. You watched as he glanced around looking for somewhere to hide you. His eyes glazed over for a moment, before he looked down at you with a concerned gaze. He whispered a ‘sorry’ before you were flying upwards, his hands carrying you right up to his mouth.

You landed on his tongue, and his teeth snapped shut behind you. You were still reeling when Nagito turned his head to face Hajime who had just walked in.

“Oh, thank god you’re actually ok.” You heard the brunette say. Nagito kept silent for obvious reasons, but you felt him nodding hesitantly.

“Okaaaayy…. Uh where’s the stuff I gave you? I uh, I have the actual energy drink right here.” Hajime said, clearly confused by Nagito’s unusual silence. A few more bras of silence proceeded that one (most likely Nagito trying to point Hajime in the direction of the fridge), before Hajime spoke once more.

“Oh… in the kitchen?”

Nagito nodded again. You heard footsteps start walking away before Hajime turned on his heels and faced Nagito again. It was then that Nagito jolted a bit, and you began to slide slowly towards the back of his throat. You looked around in a panic for something, anything to grab on to as Hajime spoke his next words.

“I tried to ignore it but honestly it’s just unsettling. Your super quiet today. Are you SURE everything is ok? You definitely look a bit more pale… wait are you gonna throw up?!” You could tell from the brunette’s words that Nagito was panicking also, but his desperate tries to pull you back up into his mouth only caused you to slip farther down until eventually…

*gulp*

Nagito was breathing heavily, his eyes wide, and Hajime standing in the bedroom doorway, with a very scared, and concerned look on his face.

“Hah… hah… yea, I’m fine!” Nagito smiled, still panting. His small smile hid his true thoughts.

Holy shit, he just swallowed a person. He fucked up so bad.

“Ok, if you insist…” Hajime said hesitantly, before walking out and over to the kitchen. As soon as he was out of eyesight Nagito slapped a hand to his stomach. He breathed a sigh of relief when he felt you jolt inside. You were ok… maybe… hopefully this wouldn’t scar you for life or anything.

You heard Hajime say a brief goodbye before the door shut behind him, and immediately Nagito began panicking.

“Y/n I am so sorry, are you ok? Please forgive me, my worthlessness and stupidity truly are despairing…” he trailed off. You on the other hand became increasingly more concerned.

“Nagito, stop with the self-deprecating stuff I’m fine, I promise.” You told him, finding a comfortable spot to lay down in. It was warm, and there was a faint glow of green from the inside of his stomach. Upon closer inspection you could see that the walls around you were extremely malnourished, and you felt sorry for him.

“Are you sure? Do you want me to spit you out? You probably want me to spit you out that was a stupid question, who would want to be in a stomach, especially a disgusting one such as mine.” Nagito rambled, the self depreciation coming back in full force now, it was a bit concerning, but you could work on that later. You needed to calm him down and reassure him everything was ok first and foremost. You placed your hand against one of the walls of his stomach.

“I’m fine I promise. It’s actually really nice in here, can I stay here for a little while? Maybe I could get some more sleep in, if it’s on with you.” You admitted, making sure to ask for permission, it was Nagito’s stomach after all, he was in control over his body and what made him uncomfortable.

“Really? I never would have thought that anyone would want to stay in my disgu— in my stomach. I’m ok with it if it makes you happy.” You felt one of the walls cave in some as Nagito pressed a hand to his stomach from the outside. You smiled, happy to finally fall back asleep in the safety of Nagito’s tummy. You’d have to ask Hajime for more of that concoction later…

Still. It must sting Ryuji's, Mahiru's, and Hajime's hearts a bit to know that's how she feels about them.

//Again, Natsumi doesn’t HATE them. And they know that. It might just take a while for her to mature a bit more so she can understand them better.

//Hajime isn’t an abusive friend/boyfriend/partner. He just had a stressful moment and went out of control for a second. It obviously doesn’t excuse his actions and he does still feel guilty about it (or at least he would if he was still around).

//But she was there to witness that happening to Mahiru and that impression unfortunately sticks, and it’s easily one of the biggest drawbacks to Hajime’s actions. Natsumi just does not trust him anymore, because she’s too young to understand what an outburst is, and that adults can still have them. When she’s old enough to understand, Hajime can work to get back in her good books.

//In the case of Ryuji and Mahiru, Natsumi doesn’t look upon them with favour because they’re both very strict with the people around them, and that leaves a bad taste in her mouth. Though it’s a joke both with the characters and the readers, the truth is that Mahiru isn’t as great a mother figure as people might think. She doesn’t exactly have a filter for her strict and demanding nature, which means her standards for Natsumi are the same as her standards for everyone else. But despite being smart for her age, Natsumi is still a literal baby. Mahiru is naturally trying to fix this side of her, but it’s taking some progress.

//As for Ryuji, he virtually has no experience taking care of children. Just at taking care of the rambunctious adults that the DR2 cast are. As far as Ryuji is concerned, it’s not his job to look after Natsumi, it’s Peko’s and Fuyuhiko’s both of whom trained and practiced in the way of parenthood prior to her arrival. He still cares a lot about Natsumi and considers her part of the family, just or from the perspective of an uncle.

//A lot of this can really be traced to Ibuki’s influence more than anything. The truth is Ibuki is a good influence on Natsumi. She’s a playful, fun-loving and super cool auntie who takes great care of her and is a nurturing presence in the little girls life. And while her presence does threaten to turn Natsumi into a bit of a punk, Ibuki does know right from wrong and is more than willing to teach Natsumi that. She may be zany, but she genuinely loves this girl like she was her own daughter, and wouldn’t bring that upon the Kuzuryu’s. It does unfortunately have the domino effect of Natsumi having a distaste for strictness and stuck up people, that which Ryuji and Mahiru are.

//As for Nagito, the simple reason is that he creeps Natsumi out. Which is honestly a shame as before his departure from Jabberwock, Nagito honestly tried to be good to Natsumi. He even bought her toys and fun things. But the vibe he gives off is just something Natsumi doesn’t like.

Gundham Saving You from an Attempted Murder (Killing Game AU)

You had decided to take a midnight stroll, just to clear your mind.

After the last trial, Nagito had been locked up. Although you felt a little safer, you were still weary.

How could someone kill another person? The idea of committing a murder was foreign to you, and you’d never be able to do it, even with a motive.

As you took in a deep breath and tasted the ocean air, a smile crossed your face.

Despite the circumstances, you still thought the island was beautiful.

You turned around as you heard a bush rustle. Whipping your head around and searching for the noise, you fell into a nervous sweat. There was a dark air closing in on you and it felt as if you were being hunted.

Finally getting your legs to work, you took off. You could hear the footsteps of your pursuer following you.

Your heart hammered against your chest and you gasped for air. Running on sand was quickly tiring as your shoes kept sinking into the floor.

Suddenly you were tackled to the ground and you let out a scream. Your attacker was wearing a simple white mask that only showed the eyes. You couldn’t see the color as you were too preoccupied with trying to get them off.

Their hands pinned yours to the ground and you screamed, desperately trying to shove them off of you.

Sand was kicked up and some got in your mouth, however your screaming didn’t stop.

Your attacker growled and pulled out a sharp drop point knife. The silver blade shimmered in the night sky. A tear rolled down your face, were you really about to die?

They lifted their arm and then brought it down to plunge it into your body.

But in one swift movement, their knife was thrown out of their hand and they were tackled to the ground.

Disbelief held you as you watched a tall figure dressed in black, fight your attacker. The hidden person quickly escaped and ran away from the scene, leaving you and your savior alone.

Your hero appeared out of the shadows, revealing himself as the one and only, Gundham Tanaka.

Quickly hauling yourself up, you ran into Gundham’s arms and let out a sob. All the emotions your adrenaline had pushed down had risen and were coming out all at once.

Gundham was rendered speechless. He couldn’t even give a grand speech, not that he felt it was appropriate. In all honesty, he’d only been able to save you thanks to hearing your screaming. And it seemed invalidating if he were to tell you he did it all himself.

He hesitantly put his hand on the small of your back and rubbed it, “Do not be afraid. I will fight off that fiend if they come again. I, Gundham Tanaka, will protect you from harm, blessed one.” He had no nickname for you, but you were truly blessed by the gods for surviving a murder attempt.

As he waited for you to calm down, he made sure to keep a look out for the attacker. If that putrid mortal were to come back, he would smite them down into the fiery pits of hell.

Eventually, he led you back to your cabin. Before he left you reached out and grabbed his scarf, “Don’t leave. Please.” You begged.

All you felt was uneasy and unsafe. Never in your life had you been as scared as you were now.

Gundham sighed and reluctantly agreed. He’d never slept in the same room as another person, let alone in such close proximity.

He chose to sleep in the chair close to your bed as you slept on your bed. As he turned off your light he let a soft smile appear on his face.

“Sleep well, my Blessed Warrior.”

“Hey Nagito! If the island were to explode right now, what’s the chance of your luck keeping you alive?”

Looking up from his plate, Nagito turns his head to face you. The second his eyes hit you he couldn’t help but smile. You were his shining hope, someone that could conquer any despair. You’ve been friends, and even partners, way before getting scouted for Hope’s Peak. You were there for every tragedy that his strange hope caused. You were there for all those times he laid in a hospital bed. When being scouted for Hope’s Peak you convinced Nagito to attend, saying how much fun it would be to go to such an amazing school together.

The lucky boy lets out a loving sigh and responds. “Well, with somehow surviving every other incident I’ve been through I feel like I’d have a pretty good chance of living. Though if given the opportunity I’d use my worthless body to shield you so your hope may live on.”

Before you could reprimand Nagito for his self-deprecating comments, Hiyoko yells out from across the restaurant. “Gross! I’m trying to eat! Stop that nasty mushy crap before I puke all over Mikan’s hideous face...or would that be an improvement to her looks?” This receives a high pitched noise of concern from the mentioned nurse. Mahiru is quick to scold Hiyoko.

Not wanting to cause any more of a scene you simply went back to eating your breakfast.

It was sometime around afternoon and Nagito was reading in his cabin. With such an outstanding library on this island he’d be a fool not to take advantage of it. A knock at his door breaks him out of his reading. Setting the book down he opens the door with no hesitation. If someone wanted to kill him he’d be pretty alright with that.

“Hey Nagito! Hope you don’t mind me stopping by. I wanted to keep talking about your talent.”

You wanting to know so much about his worthless talent just made his heart swell. Side stepping so you could enter, Nagito watches as you lay on his bed. Feeling unworthy, he decided that sitting on the edge of his bed was more than enough for him. Noticing your boyfriend's distance you reach out and pull him towards you. “Nagito, you know you can come closer. We’ve been dating for how long now?”

With your permission Nagito cuddles up closer to you. Your warmth brings a sense of comfort to his frigid body. Even in such a despairing killing game you still bring such a strong feeling of hope to him.

“Now back to what I was saying at breakfast. Do you think your luck would work on the Monomono Machine? I’ve been trying to get one of those rings but all I’ve been getting were these stupid slinkies.”

“Well my luck is pretty tricky when it comes to prizes. Sometimes a bunch of prizes will all come out at once but turns out they’re all just common dupes. Or sometimes I’ll get a really rare prize but I’ll end up losing all my coins before I could pull anything again.”

You sit there in thought mindlessly stroking Nagito’s dry hair. He felt so blessed to be in such amazing company. Though he began to wonder. Why were you immersed with his boring talent. If you could even call it a talent. For all the time you’ve known each other, you’ve always been so curious about his luck cycle.

“Hey [Name], I was wondering why you’re so interested in my luck? Your talent is much more impressive. Wouldn’t you have more fun talking about having such a wonderful skill?”

The hand combing through his hand comes to a brief pause. You reposition yourself to be able to look at him. While proceeding to card through his hair you respond.

“Hmm but I already know everything about my talent. That’s why I’m an ultimate. But even with our history I still don’t know everything about yours. And I like you a lot which means I like your talent a lot too. It’s nice just getting to know so much about you.”

Such kind words. Nagito isn’t sure how to respond to this praise. His face goes pink as he tries to hide away in his pillows.

“And your luck isn’t like anything I’ve seen before. Usually people only experience either good or bad luck. But you have such an interesting mix of both that I just can’t help but be curious.”

Nagito can’t take so much kindness at once. His face is completely beet red. No one, not even his own mother, has been so interested in him and his luck. Yeah Hope’s Peak says they’re interested but this feels just so much more personal. Setting a shaky, cold hand on your shoulder Nagito looks up from his pillows. He looks absolutely blissful.

“Go ahead. Keep asking me questions. I’ll answer anything you ask of me.”

“Okay! So what do you think would happen if you were to walk into oncoming traffic?”
