Preach man,people really have to know that a character’s attitude and personality doesn’t define their sexuality or orientation,I even start to get sick of seeing Leosagi ships because of how forced it was.I mean I’m still semi okay,but will immediately go ‘NO’ of its start to get too much,Heck,I still follow and admire other artist that do this ship and I don’t hate them.

I honestly loved what you did, I'm relatively new to the fandom and the first thing I saw about Leo was Leosagi fanarts which confused me because they're not even in the same series?... But people defended it so much that I thought that was a normal ship that the entire fandom liked and that's why I would have to get used to it, then I find out your blog and I'm so in love with the way you portray Leo with y/n it means a lot to me! But, honestly, this is scary to see how much some people downplay Leo and his personality to just him being gay (when he's not and his personality and character arc are MUCH more than that) and deceive others into thinking leosagi is canon... I saw other case like this, and I myself at some point though it was something until I checked everything and realised that, no, it's all just headcanon that some really forcing into others and even creators themselves.

I hope you don't mind if I leave some of my thoughts on this ship under your ask, but I've watched the first episode of Usagi Chronicles because I wanted to a) see what all the fuss is about, b) try not to make people think I'm critical when I haven't even watched the show. I'm going to leave my thoughts below, so, if people want, they can read them. If not, then, please, don't. Those are my personal experience. If you like leosagi and want to continue ship it, do it. It's not my business. Under the line I'll be talking mostly about those people who, again, forcing this ship into fans and creators.

So, I watched that first episode while my friend watched the whole series, and, honestly, my thoughts were "huh..?". Like, Usagi to me felt like diet Leo. They're basically have the same personality, but Usagi is less charismatic and even annoying... Leo to some is also annoying, but he still has his charms and strategic mind. And from what I've heard, even by the end of the season 2 Usagi stays pretty much the same. Honestly, I don't see how this ship can work without heavy fanoning both characters. I wouldn't be surprised if many aggressive shippers haven't even watched Usagi Chronicles and ship leosagi because: a) they need to ship Leo with a male and Yuichi is an easy choice, b) they just look cute together. Because if past movie Leo would meet past season 2 Usagi they wouldn't stand each other. And in a relationship they would get bored of each other pretty quickly, because there would be no dynamic or chemistry. Good friends? Maybe. Partners? No.

I'm not going to talk about Miyamoto because as far as I know he has a canonical love interest and a child.

And all this led me to a question: is THIS what people want...? For creators to butcher a character so they could have their fanservice?

With most medicine already not working on the turtles before the apocalypse and now there being a very limited supply It quickly started turning the wrong shade of green and had to be cut off before it spread any further.

Casey Jr doesn't find out until he's older Leo lost his arm because of him. For years he thought Leo lost it in battle with the Krang.

Jr's new mom, who literally picked him up shouting "This little fierce warrior is mine now!", proving she can toss Leo like a salad makes him a lot less scary. Though he does still prefer her being there the first few times, just in case.

Leo never blamed the kid for it, but Casey Jr has seen Leo struggle with phantom pains, having to relearn to fight, and the looks of pity. And it was him that caused all of that.

You have the AUs of Casey Jr taking a while to warm up to Donnie because big, scary, mad scientist. May I offer Donnie taking a while to warm up to Casey Jr because he's the little monster that caused his brother to lose an arm?

What number how do you live at? It’s a number between 1-1000.

Are you a seafood fan? Yes. Runs in my veins. If humans are on average 60% water, I’m pretty sure the rest of my 40% is just seafood.

Do you prefer dark, brown or white chocolate? White chocolate doesn’t count as chocolate but it’s still my favorite kind. I find that milk chocolate can sometimes be too irritatingly sweet, and I don’t usually enjoy bitter foods so I don’t do well with dark chocolate either.

Give me a random word in another language. Tell me what it means. I’m pretty sure I’ve filled this out before because I remember answering this exact question...anyway, more Filipino lessons! My laptop is currently sitting on top of a kwaderno, which just means notebook.

Can you cook Thai food? I just can’t cook. But Thai cuisine is something I really want to learn to master.

Do you get easter eggs at easter? Some years. I have relatives who will sometimes hold Easter egg hunt parties, and the older kids’ crew like some of my cousins and I are still allowed to join so that we don’t miss out on the fun, heh.

How long does it roughly take you to do the weekly or bi weekly shopping? My parents usually take an hour. Though back when we were still under an enhanced lockdown and stores kept a strict control of how many people were allowed inside, my dad used to take six hours :( He’d leave around 7 AM to start lining up, but there were always people who arrived way earlier so he usually had to queue for a few hours.

Who taught you the most valuable lesson in life and what was that lesson? I’ve touched on this before but the first death I was directly affected by, my grandfather’s, taught me the world will never slow down for your problems and in the end you’ll have to learn how to simply suck certain things up. I remember having to write an excuse letter to my teacher saying I’ll have to be absent for one day to attend to my grandpa’s wake, and all she did was stamp on it and say my absence would be excused. Didn’t even check up on me. It was in the middle of an exam week and a week before the UPCAT. It was such a jarring experience and toughened me the fuck up overnight.

Which city would you like to visit- Rome, Tunis, London, Madrid or Paris? Tunis just because I feel like it would have the least amount of tourists, and I’m also all about going to less-familiar places. Madrid would be nice too.

Would you rather visit Australia, Germany, Croatia or Jamaica? Croatia.

Have you got perfect vision? Far from. My vision is pretty much useless without my glasses, and I like to tell people that without them I can only make out colors haha. Which is obviously kind of an exaggeration but I’m also not 100% lying when I say it, so.

Can you play the violin? If not, would you like to? I can’t, but yeah it’s one of the instruments I’ve always wanted to learn to.

Can you keep a pokerface and not show your emotions easily? Passively, if that makes sense? I have no problem pretending to be happy or looking unbothered like, over dinner or if I’m with friends. But if someone had suddenly told me something upsetting or harsh to my face, I usually immediately show my hurt or anger or disappointment or displeasure or whatever negative emotion I would instantly feel in that moment. My eyebrows and eyes always give everything away.

Are you a good liar (tell the truth this time)? Maybe not around the people who know me best. I wear my heart on my sleeve with the people I’m most comfortable with.

Are you wearing shoes, just socks or nothing on your feet? Nothing. I might wear socks tonight, we’ll see.

What word or phrase is disgusting in your opinion and you hate hearing it? I hate having to hear or use the word ‘gunk.’ I think of dirty fingernails every time and it just makes me wince.

Do you like the smell of a barbecue or bonfire? It’s alright, but I don’t live for it. It certainly gives a comforting sensation though.

Do you prefer to write etc, ecetera or something else? Etc, and it highkey makes my blood boil whenever I read ect hahaha.

Do you think rainbows are pretty or overrated? I think rainbow prints and/or designs are overrated themselves, but seeing real-life rainbows tend to make me feel happy.

Have you ever fallen into a hole or crevice whilst hiking? I don’t think so. I’d be able to remember it if I have.

Ever been quadbiking? Was it any good? Nah but close, I guess? My family once did this thing where we rode on the trunk of a 4x4 while a professional drove through sand dunes in Ilocos. It was a lot of fun but I couldn’t entirely enjoy my time knowing I was in the land of the Marcoses lol

What is different about you than others you hang out with? I have a lot of unpopular opinions when it comes to Filipino food hah, like I hate well-loved dishes like sinigang and bulalo.

Are you more skeptical or gullible? I’m honestly really just both, depending on the context. Like how I’m skeptical when it comes to religion, ghosts, the afterlife, etc, but I’m equally gullible in a way that I’m terrible at recognizing sarcasm sometimes.

How often do you drink sodas or fizzy drinks? Once a year and it’s always simply to try it out and see if I’ve changed my opinion about it. I have not been converted in the last 22 years.

How many cups of tea or coffee do you have a day? Just one cup of coffee. I’m scared to have multiple ones haha, I’m scared of the palpitations or long-term effects it might give me.

Has anyone ever called you apathetic or unemotional? No. I’m the most un-unemotional person I know.

Don't you hate it when people say 'I don't mean to be rude but...'? Especially considering 98% of the time they ARE trying to be rude? It will always depend on how they say what follows. Like how it will always be irritating to hear “I don’t mean to be rude but your work sucks,” but I can stomach it better and even be motivated to do better if it was said as “I don’t mean to be rude but there are areas you can tweak more to make the work better.”

Would you say yes from a drink of a friend of a friend? Only if I already know them well enough. Otherwise, no.

How good is your memory? Pretty sharp, a little too sharp for my liking. I’m able to store too many memories, some of them I don’t even want to remember anymore.

From a discussion in my Discord group about Letterkenny’s “soft birthday” party episode. This short fic is set in the same universe as my OT4 fic “Rain or Shine and Everything In-Between” and “The Long and Short of It All.” Thanks @ldefix and Ericsson for the idea! 

"What the hell...?"

Noctis was frozen in the doorway, one hand still on the knob, peering into the entrance as if he were afraid he'd stepped into the wrong house.

Everywhere he looked was pink. Bubblegum, cotton candy, pink. From floor to ceiling, streamers and balloons filled every space in the living room of the town home, all colored in the offensive hue. The prince was still questioning if had stumbled into someone else's house by mistake when he heard the thunder of footsteps, breaking him out of his daze.

Prompto skidded across the hardwood and into view, Gladio close behind.

"Surprise!" the blond crowed, a pointed party hat sitting at an angle on his head. He had thrown his arms wide in emphasis, and Gladio grinned, placing hands on his hips. It was only then that Noctis registered what they were wearing—pastel colored t-shirts and jean shorts, each with feather boas dangling around their necks. Gladio took his off as he stepped forward, hooking it around Noctis’s neck and pulling him in close. The prince sputtered as feathers were shoved in his face, sneezing as one tickled the inside of his nose.

“Happy birthday, princess,” Gladio drawled, pulling the prince in by his waist and planting a sloppy kiss against Noctis’s neck. His stubble tickled Noctis almost as much as the boa, but at least it had a more pleasant effect on his insides. Trying not to look too happy, Noctis swatted at him, unable to break free of the man’s muscled grip. Meanwhile, Prompto rocked back on his heels, hands clapping gleefully.

“D’you like it?” Prompto wondered. He gestured to it­—the absurd décor that Noctis was still wrapping his head around.

“Uh…” Noctis trailed off as he searched for the right words, and Gladio finally released him, causing the prince to wheeze from the sudden expansion of his ribcage.

“You said you were tired of fancy balls and parties, so we thought a soft birthday would be best. It kinda started out as a joke, but…” Prompto let the explanation float away as he fixed his best friend with a hopeful look. The prince’s Shield cleared his throat pointedly, and Noctis blinked in response. Gladio coughed louder, tilting his head subtly in Prompto’s direction while wearing a taut smile. He finally got the hint.

“Oh! Yeah, it’s great. If I don’t have to wear a suit, I’m there.” Noctis watched Gladio’s face transform from apprehensive to approving as his sentence progressed. “So, where’s Specs?” Noctis figured changing the subject was safest for now, at least until the shock of the Pepto-Bismol to his eyeballs faded.

“In here,” an accented voice called from the kitchen.

“Wait until you see what else we did! Okay, so it was mostly Iggy, but still.” Prompto was bouncing, excitement palpable as he hooked an arm in Noctis’s. “Close your eyes real quick!”

Humoring him, Noctis did as he was told, but Gladio came up behind him to tie the boa over his face for good measure.

“I’m not peeking!” he laughed at the absurdity of it, only to hear Gladio murmur in his ear.

“You better not, or those birthday spankings are going to come early.”

“Is that before or after the presents?” Noctis questioned cheekily as Prompto began to steer him. There was an ominous chuckle over the prince’s shoulder that had him grinning.

“During the presents, probably.”

“Okay, okay, stand here,” Prompto said, temporarily tabling the conversation between the two. There was some rustling and footsteps as Noctis crossed his arms, making a show of appearing impatient. Then he felt a pair of lips brush over his cheek, gentle and sweet, and the corner of his mouth twitched up. “Alright, you can look now,” Prompto announced, sounding equal parts nervous and eager.

Noctis yanked the boa down to his neck and his gaze swept through the kitchen like a scythe through grain. He took in everything—the tier of cupcakes that was front and center, brightly wrapped presents surrounding it as if they were offerings on an altar, and the trays of food filling the counter from corner to corner. Enthralled by the generous spread, Noctis nearly missed Ignis standing off to the side, but once he saw him, he couldn’t tear his eyes away.

The prince’s jaw worked, but no sounds came out. Prompto and Gladio both stepped forward, and he could see the devilish grins splitting their faces from ear-to-ear out of his periphery. Ignis removed his glasses, face fighting to remain neutral as he pretended to clean the lenses with a microfiber cloth in his hand.

“You.” Noctis started, but stopped, gaze panning downwards as his brain tried to process what Ignis was wearing.

The typically sharp-dressed man had forgone his usual apron. It had been replaced with one that tied at the waist. White, with lacy frills at the hem, glitter shimmered in its folds wherever it caught the light. Stretching beneath the apron were multi-colored fishnet stockings, a rainbow gradient that ended in a pair of high heels that Noctis had no idea Ignis even owned. Taking a page out of Gladio’s book, the cook was shirtless, toned abdomen bare except for a white strap of leather at his neck with a single bell, shaped into a metallic pink heart.

“Cat got your tongue?” Ignis inquired, a little viciously. Noctis made his way forward, licking lips that had gone dry. A hand reached out to rest on Ignis’s hip, and suddenly the prince was salivating, fingers running over a garter belt that attached to a pair of silky underwear.

“A soft birthday party?” Noctis laughed abruptly, throat finally emitting intelligible noises again. “Nothing about this is making me feel soft.” Ignis leaned back into the counter, the picture of poised, somehow looking completely comfortable in his choice of wardrobe.

“I believe it refers to the color palette. And stakes,” Ignis mused. The advisor’s hand found where Noctis’s had begun to wander, grabbing it with an arched eyebrow. “Not until after you’ve had your cake, highness,” he chided.

“It’s my birthday,” Noctis moaned in protest. There was knowing hum from the three of them, not at all sympathetic.

Prompto hopped onto a barstool to pull one of the cupcakes off the display as the prince spoke, and Noctis snorted at the unicorn topping that Prompto devoured in one bite, icing catching on the blond’s cheek.  Procuring a plastic tiara from out of thin air, Prompto placed it on the birthday boy’s head. The prince reached up, adjusting the makeshift crown good-naturedly.  

“Consider this payback for those dick pics you sent while we were at work,” Gladio said as he took the spot beside Prompto at the island and scooped a ladle of electric blue punch into one of the pink glasses set out beside it.  

“You’re still not over that?” the prince gaped. Three stony expressions gave him his answer. “All right, all right!” Noctis raised his hands in surrender, laughing. Gladio slid a drink over to Prompto, already pouring two more.

“C’mon, you got some catching up to do,” the Shield explained. The four gathered close, elbows knocking together as they leaned in.

“To you, princess. Even though you’re a little shit most of the time—

“Hey!”

“—I love your royal ass.”

“I bet you do,” Noctis scoffed, but he was smirking as he raised his glass.  

“Happy birthday, Noct. There’s no place else I’d rather be than in this house, eating too much icing, and getting silly drunk with the all of you,” Prompto added. Noctis felt something in his chest pull tight as he nudged his head into Prompto’s.

“Back at ya.”

All eyes were on Ignis now, and the prince’s advisor met Noctis’s eyes as he began his toast, accent thickening with emotion.

“To the best day of the year, for it serves as a constant reminder of the light that guides us, in love and laughter. Noct, there are no words to say how much you mean to all of us, but we hope to make you smile for many more birthdays to come, and all the days in-between. Cheers, darling.”

“Cheers!” came the chorus of voices. Noctis had to duck his head as he drank deep, a burst of tangy flavor hitting his tongue as he swallowed back a pinprick of tears.  

“Thanks, guys. You’re the best,” he muttered into his drink, more than a little embarrassed at the sudden shift in mood. He felt arms envelop him from all sides, the heat from three bodies warming him from the outside in, sending his heart soaring. They were quiet for a moment, soaking in the comfortable silence.

Gladio was the first to pull back, voice a little gruffer than usual. “All right, enough of that, let’s party.”

Prompto climbed into Gladio’s lap to give up his stool to Noctis, blue eyes shining emotionally in a way that the prince could empathize with. “Yeah!” the blond agreed, arms looping around the Shield’s neck for support.

Ignis lifted a finger, drawing the group’s attention. “First order of business—His Highness is overdressed.” Noctis glanced down at his slacks and button down, having come directly from the Citadel. When he lifted his head, he nearly cowered beneath the predatory gaze of his three lovers, the warmth that nestled inside him ratcheting up several notches into something that made him squirm.

“What about cake?” Noctis reminded Ignis as the advisor slid a hand into the small of the prince’s back, fingers working to unbuckle his belt. Ignis leaned in, lips skimming over Noctis’s neck and making him shiver.

“Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too?”
