listen. i LOVED malleyuu back in 2020-2021 and i still think their dynamic is adorable in theory but i really don't like what is happening to their dynamic at the moment. first of all, i'm not a fan of what's happening to malleus's character and second of all, there's just. too much malleyuu. like i'm genuinely starting to like any other yuu ships more simply bc they don't have malleus and they already sound more original to me. also i really hate how some fans are saying "but this game IS about malleyuu, malleus is your canon love interest!!!", NO THIS GAME IS ABOUT MAGIC AND SOLVING OTHER STUDENTS' PROBLEMS EVEN THOUGH YOU'RE NOT A THERAPIST. so yeah anyway rolloyuu though- *i get slapped*

Hydro Claymore!! (changed her from being a polearm) Im still working on her kit tbh but so far her Elemental Skill (unnamed) has a tap mode, that just does immediate Hydro DMG, and a hold mode, thatll do bigger Hydro DMG and stagger enemies. While her Elemental Burst (unnamed) is a whirlpool that pulls enemies in and keeps them there for the duration while dealing DoT Hydro DMG ✨ 

(im. Trying to design her like a Tanky DPS like Xinyan and Razor? but at the same time i gave her an ascension that makes her burst also do Just A Lil Bit Of Healing That Scales Off Max HP and i havent figured out cons for shit SO thats been fun AKFKDSJ) (also her passive increases Movement SPD in the overworld when it rains, same as Rosaria’s when its nighttime >:D) 

AIGHT WITH UNFINISHED GAMEPLAY RAMBLINGS DONE, [slaps Jinjing on the back] THIS PHROUGGE CAN FIT SO MUCH MISMANAGED GRIEF. 

[gestures] Jinjing, better known by her sacred name “Spring Defender” (though if you call her that she’ll just assume you’re asking for a fight /unserious subtext), is just an Adeptus tryna live her best life currently residing in Qingce Village and protecting the village ppl from the passing hilichurl and/or treasure hoarder group 🕺 

Wayy back when in Liyue’s history she was one of the Guili Assembly’s main protectors, to the point where just seeing her was said to be an omen of good fortune, and was otherwise vibing and being Guili’s unofficial adopted child SDKGHDFG 

Buut then the Guili Assembly went to shit, and she also signed the contract to fight alongside Rex Lapis during the Archon War and protect the Harbor, but as that went on she slowly started getting disillusioned like “damn. all these gods killing and tearing and maiming everything in their path just to get a seat in Celestia. disgustang 🙄 thank fuck Rex Lapis isn’t like that 🖐️”

but yknow how after the Archon War ended, Rex Lapis ended up getting one of the aforementioned seats in Celestia? yeahh she saw that as a HUGE betrayal and went “wow!! okay!! so basically all gods ARE power-hungry bitches huh!!!” and wholly disagrees with how much the other Adepti and the rest of Liyue worships their Archon as if he Isnt A Bitch Thats Playing Everyone Like Cheap Kazoos 😔

so she just. left for Qingce w/o a word. and thats where she’s stayed since and plotted deicide multiple times but never really went through it (totally not cuz a part of her still misses her pa noo whaat) and so in canon just eats hot chip and messes w/ ppl that drop by the northern village (except for Qiqi, who she looks after cuz Jinjing was Absolutely one of the main ppl that helped revive her dont @ me) and also regularly trash-talks the Archons w/ the Oceanid over tea and snacks every Tuesday AKGKFDD
