Understand the Ascendant Persona Chart

"Let me explain it like this, because it helped me grasp it.  Imagine you’re wearing a jacket. The Ascendant in your regular natal chart is the jacket—it’s what people notice first about you when you walk into a room. It’s how you look and act before they really know you. So as a scorpio rising, mine will probably be quite aloof, intense, and mysterious.  Now imagine someone approaches you, well in my case intrigued by that dark, intense Scorpio Rising energy (jacket) I give off. They stop you and ask, "Wow, What’s this jacket made of? Why do you choose it, and what does it say about you?  In this scenario, the Ascendant Persona Chart is where they start to understand the intricacies of that jacket, it's texture, it's symbolism, and its underlying emotional significance. The Ascendant Persona Chart therefore is like peeling back the layers of your (ascendants) first impression, revealing the deeper motivations, nuances, and emotional currents that influence how you present yourself. For example, as a Scorpio Rising, the initial impression I give off might be that of someone who is a bit aloof, reserved, even mysterious, with a keen intensity in the way I observe others. People may see a quiet, almost impenetrable exterior, one that doesn't easily give away its secrets. But if someone takes the time to "look closer" at the (jacket) using the Ascendant Persona Chart, they might start to understand the reasoning behind that mysterious facade. My Taurus rising will speak to that. Taurus speaks to the need for continuity so as a scorpio rising it presents a story of perhaps being(prone to cling onto things that are familiar, for the sake of stability,  resistant to change) Perhaps the jacket—your outer persona—was chosen because it offers protection, shields you from vulnerability, or gives you control over how others perceive you because like me (taurus) prefers stability and comfort. 🪐 Astrology as a Vocation (or Something Like It)

Some say your profession is a choice. Sure, maybe it is. But more often, it’s a chain of unconscious turns at high speed — where your car ends up as either a racecar or a clunky old ZAZ that stalls every ten meters.

My path into astrology didn’t feel like a decision. It felt like falling into a river and realizing you know how to swim. I’m not the best person out there. Sometimes I catch myself dreaming, “what if things had turned out differently?” They didn’t. And won’t.

I have a degree in psychology. I did a stint as a counselor. But I know now — therapy isn’t for me. Not because I’m “broken,” but because my own cracks would tear apart on other people’s problems. I’d lose my mind to save someone else’s.

Astrology gives me the rhythm I need. Daily posts? They’re my ritual. My way of exorcising doubts, of making sense of what I see. My own odd blend of penance and responsibility.

Consultations? They’re little sprints. A flash of momentum that lets me keep going — scraping together rent money without begging my friends for help. Hey!! So there is this guy that I find attractive and I came to know that his Venus conjunct my Ascendent. His sun and Venus is in my 12H. Is that why I think and dreamt of him a lot even tho we do not have much interaction? Does it goes both ways or only the house person is affected ?

I wanna start from the basics and ill progress into the answer...

This relationship is a past life agreement. Or you two have similar past life connection (in matters of love, royalty, etc.) that you two are meant to clear with each other since his Sun + Venus both fall into the 12th H.

The 12th house is also Neptune, ruling dreams. Bc his Sun & Venus are here, it creates a feeling of intense love for him bc on a soul level, it feels "meant to be".. or otherworldly. this may just be due to the karmic agreement you both made in a past life together as well.

You both may feel a heightened sense of dreaming or fantasizing about each other. Your presence could "linger" in each other's minds in ways that are not purely "rational" but more emotional and imaginative. This might lead to a sense of yearning and longing.

So depending on how it manifests, if you're both feeling that need to imagine the other, you would both be receiving dreams about one another, otherwise, it could be that he is overly fantasizing or wondering about you (because you bring a sense of the way you communicate your emotions may not be so clear for him which leads to an air of mystery, especially if Pisces rules 12th house for you.
