Back in Action!

I once saw @dreamweave01 say that the Woven Ties gang would get back into crime-fighting someday, and this image popped into my head and has stayed there rent free ever since. It would take time, but I really like the idea of all of them eventually healing enough to not only start vigilantism again, but also enjoy it!

I have enjoyed this AU so very much, you have no idea. The story, the characters and their designs, the art, the writing: It's all fantastic!

In the 1930s, the Chrysler Building stood as a symbol of ambition and sophistication, crowned by the exclusive Cloud Club, an Art Deco retreat for New York's elite financiers and executives. Though the club is long gone, the building endures as a timeless icon of the city's golden era.

Pro tip for world building: if you have an entity designed for the players to fight in combat, don't name it "pirate", "raider," "soldier" or something equally generic. And ESPECIALLY don't name their faction that!

It's much more characterful to give them a place or people that they come from.

Easy example: Fallout 3 vs Fallout: New Vegas

Fallout 3 has raiders, raiders, and more raiders.

New Vegas has Great Khans, Fiends, Powder Gangers, Jackals, Scorpions, Vipers, and Greasers.

All of the above are effectively "raiders" but New Vegas offers 7 different (or at least theoretically different) raider cultures with their own histories, while Fallout 3 has 1, maybe 0, raider cultures.

Even just naming these NPC groups will develop the world because it'll either make the players or YOU, the designer, ask questions about why they are named that.

In short: every NPC has a group they belong to, so at least name the groups.

Two new areas on Honey. I'm finally almost done with this island. It's been over a year since I started! Sometimes I want to play this game and then other times I don't. Getting back into it has been fun though.
