Let me repeat myself: Trafalgar D. Water Law, surgeon of death, surrounded by death and desolation seeing the face of Cora in this little life he helped bring into the world. In the Sora... negotiating comic I loved how his first thought was for Ziggy, and the fact he's his god father is so important to me.

This man only knew death all his life so I'm sure he cares a lot about this baby alive THANKS to him. I even headcanon he has a little picture of him in his wallet or something. Or that his heart melted like the Grinch.

THANK YOUUUU I'm so happy if this made you emotional. The relationship between Law and Ziggy isn't central to CMK AU bit it makes me so happy it exists. Also I LOVE the headcanon of Law having a picture of Ziggy with him. I'm sure it helps him staying grounded when dark thoughts come in.
