Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first sign was your leg bouncing. He thought you might just be stressed or tired and eager to go home, but he still made an effort to give you extra attention, even while feeling the weight of daggers aimed at him. He and Chan were busy working on a new beat, and he understood how much his hyung wanted his complete focus on it, but he was worried about you.
The next sign was the lip biting; the way you shamelessly eye-fucked his biceps while biting into your lip so hard that he swore you were going to bleed. It was at this point he was growing suspicious and occasionally narrowed his eyes at you, but he nonetheless charted it up to you being exhausted and simply wanting to go home.
The final sign was your thighs pushing together. The way you squirmed on the couch as you pushed your knees together was a telltale sign of what was going on in that pretty little head of yours.
It normally would make him ecstatic, excited even, to watch you get so built up over nothing. He loved watching you grow so desperate that you would beg oh so prettily for him. What he didn’t like though, was how hot and bothered you were getting with his leader in the same room.
Even if Chan was the one who caused you to get so horny all of a sudden, Changbin knew at the end of the day, when you needed to be broken down just to get built back up, that you went to him. Not Chan. Despite this, he could still feel the jealousy dripping off his skin. He wanted- no. needed to remind you who you belonged to.
“Love, can you get me some water?” He watched you blink a few times to screw your head back on before you nodded silently and scurried out of the studio. The second the door closed behind you, he turned back to Chan to put the rest of his plan in place.
By the time you returned with the water bottle, Changbin was already zipping his bag shut and rising to his feet. He gave his elder a pat on the back along with a message about not staying in too late before helping you gather your things.
The whole elevator ride was quiet aside from your sighs of happiness as you nuzzled into his arm. Changbin, however, kept his eyes straight forward and his jaw locked in place as he waited for that familiar ding that announced your arrival to the garage floor. He granted you a few hair pets as the elevator descended, but nothing more.
Once the doors opened, he hurried you out towards the car. Long, quick strides towards his dedicated parking space all while his hand was on your lower back, almost pushing you alongside him. The beep of the car unlocking was heard for a moment before he all but threw his bag inside the backseat.
You tried making your way around to the passenger door, but he didn’t let you get far. You got maybe 2 feet away before he reached out and grabbed a tight hold of your wrist. He led you to the back of the car and popped the trunk, pulling you towards him before shoving you to sit in the trunk and leaving your legs dangling helplessly over the license plate.
“Binnie!? What are you doing?” He simply scoffed and trailed his hand up your arm, lightly grazing any bare flesh he came across before settling his hand around your throat, squeezing it just enough to make you understand exactly what was going on.
“Do you think I’m stupid baby? You think I don’t see my pretty girl being a whore on the couch, right behind my best friend? Hm?” Your mouth is parted slightly and you’re at a loss for words. While you can’t deny that what he said is exactly what happened, you also weren’t expecting him to flip his mood so fast.
“I…”
“You… You what, Love? You want Channie-hyung that badly? Should I tell him to come down here and take my place?” The hand around your neck tightens and you can’t hide the whimper that comes out.
“No! I was only thinking about you the whole time, Binnie. I promise.” You pout and look up at him under your eyelashes, even going as far as to chew your lip in hopes that he would believe you. It was the truth after all, but Changbin tended to get very jealous and would get in this headspace that always ended in your lower half aching for a few days.
Which is exactly the mood he seems to be in tonight.
“That’s not my name, baby.” His other hand moves up to your chest where he grabs a handful of your tit and squeezes it. Your legs squeeze together and he sighs happily at the sight of your body already reacting to him, taking it as his sign to continue. He moves his hand down your body and only stops when he meets the button on your shorts.
He snaps it open and lets his fingers trace your panty line for a moment while he silently decides what he wants to do with you. The hand on your neck loosens its grip in favor of cupping your cheek, using his thumb to play with your bottom lip.
“So pretty... You know I love you, right baby?” His eyes are still sharp as he stares down at you and waits for your response.
“Yes, Daddy.”
He licks his lip and smirks, nodding his head in satisfaction and dipping his thumb into your mouth. “Good. My good girl.” He mumbles quietly as he watches your lips wrap around his thumb, his dick twitching in his sweatpants as you suck the digit. He moans lowly at the feeling and pulls his thumb out.
He pulls you out of the trunk and spins you around, shoving you headfirst into the trunk as he pulls your shorts to your knees. He groans at the sight of your underwear; his favorite set paired with an evident wet spot right where your- his cunt is.
A hand comes down on your ass, fast yet more playful than he would if it was a punishment. It causes you to jump and moan against the fabric of the trunk. He only laughs, his calloused hand massaging the area he just hit while he grinds his clothed dick against you.
“Such a pretty baby with a pretty ass… I can’t wait to see that pretty pussy again.”
“‘S all yours, Daddy-” He grins and smacks the other cheek. “Damn right it is, baby.”
He hooks a finger into each side of the waistband of your panties and pulls them down, letting them fall into your shorts as he lets them go to spread you open. He’s quiet as he stands there and stares. It’s not until he blows lightly that one of you makes a sound- you being the one to moan desperately at the cold air.
Your pussy clenches as well and he almost moans, already excited to take you despite the lack of privacy. But he doesn’t care. He has a goal and you are going to take it right here, right now.
He shoves his sweatpants down just far enough for him to slip his cock out. One hand rests on your tailbone while the other pumps himself a few times. It doesn’t take long for him to grow impatient though, and you find him sliding his tip through your folds only once before he slides in.
The stretch is noticeable, but it’s not unwelcome nor does it hurt. You let it be known by pushing back into him, making him groan as your tight cunt wraps around him even more. He curses under his breath as he bottoms out and you shake as he rests right beside your G-spot in this position.
“D-Daddy…” He shushes you and pushes your back down, arching it just how he likes it. His hands find home on your hips once he has you positioned perfectly and he wastes no more time, moving his hips backward before sliding back into your heat.
A low groan leaves his throat and his eyebrows furrow in disbelief at how warm and tight you feel. He’s more than familiar with your body, but it never ceases to drive him crazy. So much so that he finds a fast pace rather quickly, using it to desperately fuck into you for a few minutes.
The sound of the elevator dinging can’t be heard over the squelching of your pussy and the huffing from Changbin, so neither of you notice the audience. Nor does Changbin notice his best friend staring in his direction with wide eyes and his own dick growing hard in his pants.
He doesn’t notice it at all, but just so happens to pound into you even harder right as the older man starts watching. The hands on your hips maneuver to hold both of yours in one hand while the other slides underneath you, quickly rubbing his fingers back and forth over your clit.
“Daddy!! I’m cumming-” You can feel your orgasm starting to take over your body and you clench tightly as it snaps. It pulls a squeal from you as his hips keep up their pace, fucking into you fast and calculated as he fucks you through your orgasm.
The overstimulation kicks in fast and he has to tighten his grip on you when you start thrashing. Your body does everything it can to make him slow down but to no avail. The final attempt was when your legs squeezed together desperately, making your pussy tighten around him.
It only slows him momentarily, and he recuperates faster than you thought. With a growl, he returns to his pace and the now free hand comes down on your ass harshly before tangling itself in your hair.
He pulls your upper half out of the trunk with his newfound grip and uses the new angle to his advantage, thrusting more calculatedly and ramming into your G-spot. He leans forward, pushing his chest against your back and continuing to use you as his personal fleshlight.
Your tits bounce with each thrust and tears start forming at your eyes, causing your onlooker to sigh loudly as he holds back a moan. This is the sound that finally meets Changbin’s ears, and your boyfriend's hips stutter as he prepares to shield you with his body.
He’s completely bottomed out, his tip digging meanly into your G-spot, as he whips his neck to the side. You go to ask him what happens when a familiar voice meets your ears, causing you to clench around Changbin.
“Oh- don’t mind me bro! I’m just enjoying the show.” Chan smirks and looks into his member's eyes. He tilts his head playfully and licks his lips, almost ordering the younger man when he tells him to “Continue, Bin.” The man in question holds eye contact and experimentally grinds his hips into you as he gauges both your and Chan’s reactions.
“W-Wait! Daddy-” Changbin thrusts sharply, excited that you’re using his title so freely in front of somebody he’s looked up to for so long. Chan himself whistles at the name and leans his head against the concrete wall behind him, arms crossed and eyes now boring into where you and your boyfriend’s bodies meet.
“Damn, didn’t know you were into all of this, Bin. Always thought you were the least kinky out of everyone.” Chan tilts his head the other way now, trying to get a better look at your pussy sucking Changbin in.
Changbin whines at the newfound attention but he continues to move his body anyways. He even goes out of his way to angle his body so that Chan can get a better look at you.
You blink a few tears away and glance back at the older man. You moan when you’re met with his lidded eyes staring so intensely at your backside. He looks so interested in the way you’re literally dripping around your boyfriend and it causes you to clench again, your second orgasm building up faster than the first.
“D-Daddy, I’m gonna cum again…” You mumble it out of embarrassment, but the older man hears you anyway and teases you for it.
“You hear that, Daddy? Baby says she’s gonna cum again.” Both you and Changbin moan at the same time and he has to rest his forehead against your shoulder to ground himself.
“Shit… Channie-hyung, you’re so d-dirty.” In his stupor, Changbin loosens his grip on your hands and you fall forward, hands settling in the truck and causing you to put yourself on display in a new position.
Both men groan at the sight of your arms shaking and Chan has half the mind to come over there and hold you up himself. But he’s not trying to push any more boundaries than he already did just by being here, so he just watches in amusement as you struggle to hold yourself up.
“Y/N, you gonna cum, baby?” Chan using that nickname on you isn’t new. He uses it with all his members when he’s trying to tease them, and he often considers you an honorary member. But when you’re like this, getting split open and fucked within an inch of your life all the while he watches, the nickname only pushes you closer to finishing.
“B-Baby…” The man you’re more familiar with calling you the nickname gasps it out and whines loudly as he starts to cum, his cock spurting everything he has to give into your cunt. The feeling of getting filled up triggers your own orgasm and you milk your boyfriend dry, arms finally giving out and causing you to fall forward into the trunk.
Changbin groans when a few drops of his cum spill out as he pulls out, but he doesn’t push it back in. Instead he watches it drip and allows the older man to see his claim to you.
He can’t tell if he accomplished his goal of reclaiming you or not. Especially not when Chan walks over and fingers his seed back inside of you with his knobby fingers. But that doubt didn't stop his cock from twitching, so it sure as hell won’t stop him from saying what he's about to say.
“So… Channie-hyung’s turn. Right, baby?”

A year and a half in ...
Realized it's been a while since I updated ya'll on my Ozempic journey.
For the newbies, I started taking Ozempic a year and a half ago to get my AC1/blood sugar under control. Had been trying all kinds of restrictive diets along with pills and the damn number wouldn't come down anywhere near even the high end of normal.
So my doc suggested we start Ozempic. Since my goal wasn't weight loss but diabetic maintenance, we started at a .25 dose and very, very slowly worked my way up to my current dosage of 2.5 (which is considered a maintenance dose and, thus, doesn't have all the restrictions of getting the prescript refilled like higher doses).
For reference, most people start these drugs on a 5.0 and go up to a 7.5 pretty quickly. My friend has been on three different ones now and has had to stop them because of all the side effects like, nasty digestive issues and aching joints.
Anywho, I've been blessed to not have any major side effects and my AC1 was at 5.7 the last time I had it checked. I can't express how amazing that is. They've taken me off my blood sugar med and my blood pressure has dropped so they're talking about taking me off that pill as well to see how I do without it. Honestly, it's like this drug was made to fix my specific issue. Yes, I still have to eat a balanced diet, but it's everything in moderation, not that "cut all sugar and carbs and fruit and ..." bullshit I was trying to do before (which is not sustainable, trust me). If I'm craving a cinnamon roll, I get a cinnamon roll, eat some of it, then save the rest for later. Mostly I eat a lot of girl dinners with fruit, nuts, raisins, meat, cheese, olives, hummus ... I'm really into grazing right now. And I exercise, get on the treadmill six days a week and talk the doggo for walks in the afternoon.
Have I lost weight? I'm down 75 pounds or 4 dress sizes. I average about less than a pound a week, but I'm slowing down and I'm perfectly fine with that because I can fit in an airline seat now and can wear all my cute belts again. I've been buying clothes that are more fitted and feel much better in terms of my knee pain.
Am I still fat? Yep. I was a LARGE woman to start with and I probably still register as obese under the stupid charts they have for freakin' BMI etc. But I don't care. I can keep up with the family when we go on vacation/trips and I bought the cutest new tankini bathing suit with sharks on it to wear to the beach this year.
Will I be on Ozempic for the rest of my life? Yes, because I'm a diabetic and it keeps my AC1 under control so I can live healthy and be around to spend time with my kids and friends.
And that's enough for me.

Having been dx'd with gastroparesis [stomach paralysis]. All of those usual tips to 'be healthier' cant apply anymore because, at least, not medically recomended. I cant have whole nuts, grains, or things with seeds (or at the very least I am supposed to greatly reduce my intake of those items); No added fibre supplements, no fruits with tough skins, hell i'm not even supposed to go low-fat either.
"Usually we tell our patients to do the opposite of the items on your list but in your case.."
I cant take any weight loss medications like wegovy (or ect) bc it will cause my gastroparesis to get worse.
In about 12 days i'll be talking with a doctor about a possible surgery to help the gastroparesis, my gerd, and the fact that every 1/5 swallows, my throat muscles fail completely at the one thing they are designed to do.
And yet..
Doctors outside of my gastroentenologist keep trying to perscribe me weight loss meds, or they heavily push batriatic surgery. Despite now having warnings in my chart to Not Do That or else its risking my health.
man just. Fuck me with a screwdriver why dont you.

1/5/25
I took my first shot of semaglutide today. I ordered it from online after talking to a doctor online. I'm going to talk to another doctor in person to see if I am covered under my insurance. I know this is a little backwards but after having to wait for the appointment with the in person doctor, I got antsy and went online because I didn't want to wait any longer. One of my friends is on semaglutide and I read the side effects and they seem unlikely for me given my medical history and current status, etc. I know I kinda jumped the gun a bit. I've just been so excited to start it. I also am surprised that taking the shot doesn't hurt at all. I was really worried about it at first. I watched the instructional video ahead of time and it was very helpful otherwise I would have felt lost, but it seems almost too straightforward and easy. I can't believe I only need to do one shot a week. Well, Sundays are my day and I'm marking it on my calendar.
Speaking of other things I've marked, I'm sharing my fitness progress from the last few weeks. A few weeks I didn't make my goal of 150 minutes or more of activity a week, but it was mostly holiday weeks.
Tumblr media
I also made some charts for future activity tracking today and my weight.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We took it easy today which is nice because we were on the road to Peoria yesterday and waited in line way too long to see the Muppets exhibit. Yesterday was exhausting just getting to see it because the lines were so long. This was the last weekend. I'm never seeing anything on the last weekend ever again and we drove there a little over 2 hours to get there and drove back the same freaking day. It was nuts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I've been playing a video game and watching movies and TV shows with my fiance all day to make up for the craziness that was yesterday. Currently, I'm playing Bravely Default II. It's been snowing all day and we can't go anywhere anyway so we treated today as a snow day.

These little monkeys are 7 weeks old! The boys are now over 2 pounds/.91 kg. You can see their updated weight chart here:
Also about that spreadsheet is that if you look at the tabs at the bottom of the page, there's a "comparative weights" spreadsheet so you can see how they compare to previous litters at the same age.
Someone was asking about the kittens' personalities this week, so here's a very quick description of each kitten (you can take it as a given that each kitten is the most wonderful kitten ever, of course.) There are NO bonded pairs among this litter, everyone is good buddies with everyone else.
Kirk is Mr. Chill Dude - he's super nosy, wants to be in the middle of what you're doing, but you can do anything to him and he's just like "Okay, man." I've had to give him two baths in the past few weeks as he perfected his litterbox skills (which he has done), and both times he was perfectly fine, not a complaint out of him.
Spock is initially timid, but gets over it quickly; his Daddy must have been a Jumping Bean, because he will race and jump and skitter in every random direction. He is NUTS (in the best way.) In his own way he's as calm as Kirk is - I can pick him up, flip him over and he just shrugs and goes with it.
Janeway always greets me at the door and is so happy to see me. She has a super reactive tail that floofs at the slightest surprise or startle (JUST her tail). She is a silly little goofball, sweet, and loves to be kissed. She loves to jump on her siblings (and her mama) and wrestle (well, they all like to do that.)
Kes marches to the beat of her own drum and does things in her own time and her own way. She's everyone's best friend and will snuggle with whichever kitten is around. She tends to go off and snooze by herself, but is someone wants to join her, she is A-OK with that.
Troi is a sweet little chill girl with a very feisty side; I can pick her up and kiss her 1,000 times and she tolerates it with good cheer. She has no idea she's tiny - she will jump on her siblings, wipe the floor with them, and then stroll away smiling.
(Pic & description of mama Uhura will be up later.)

Two Weeks Now
Tumblr media
I've been doing things for the cholesterol reduction now for two weeks. I wish there was a way that I could self test at home, a la diabetes style test, but for blood fat. Million dollar idea there. Anyway.
After I had some time to digest what the nutritionist had been talking about, I realized that things were no where near as terrible as what I thought it was. My risk of heart attack/stroke is less than 5%, my heart is a year younger than my body, my blood sugar is fine, HDL levels are good, other non-HDL and non-LDL blood fats are fine. Literally everything else other than the LDL being a little high is all that's going on.
I can't even begin to describe how relieved I was when I heard those things. But my knowing myself, I knew that I was going to be less careful. In a way with relief comes indulgence, but another part of me is still worried because what if they're wrong.
There's an app I downloaded and paid for called MyNetDiary because it calculates a ton of things for you, and I mean, in for a penny in for a pound at this rate. Why not realize that my vitamin c is also ridiculously low while I'm worried that my heart is going to give out imminently?
I'm only being mildly facetious, this is just how I roll. The awareness that I need to not become completely obsessed is really big. I can obsess very easily over things and it can take months for me to get over being that way. It stops me from from doing a lot of things because I worry about it. The app is helpful, though, I will say that. I've been using it for about two weeks now and I do like the little report that it gives me at the end of the week that outlies the WEEKLY items rather than just DAILY. Daily kind of drives me nuts because I hate seeing any red charts, even orange is upsetting to me.
I'm trying to "win" cholesterol.
On Friday last week I had decided that I'd been doing well with keeping all of my saturated fats below my goals for the week, and basically having no trans fats whatsoever (as was directed and I've actually been quite diligent about adhering to). I decided that I could have a little bit of leeway and ate some less healthful things.
Prior to this I became a little weight obsessed. Okay, a lot weight obsessed. For the majority of my life I weighed 98lbs (I know, basically nothing). Once I hit 39 it started going up, and then it was hanging around 104lbs for a while. Within the last two to three months it seemed to start rising constantly, regardless of what was going on. My heaviest was 113lbs which was really weird for me. I know it's not an unhealthy weight, but I was approaching a 20lbs difference and it kind of made me a little nervous, because nine of those pounds came on really rapidly.
One of the things I noticed right away when I started on a healthful eating journey was that my weight went back down within a couple of days. I truly don't believe that this had anything to do with hormones, time of day, anything like that as I have religiously been keeping track of this. Why look into it? Well, because I like to prepare myself for the worst, I really thought I might have a fast growing tumour, okay? I'm not proud of that thought process at all, but that's where my mind was headed. I was glad when I had my physical and there were no giant, 9lb tumours hanging around in my midsection. It helped me realize that I was probably just getting perimenopausal weight gain. That also sucked, but way less than tumours.
So, I'm eating, taking supplements, vitamins, all that jazz, and actually eating more calories than before (although I should stress that these are healthy fats and calories from nuts and seeds instead of unhealthy from fried foods and dairy), and I'm fully expecting to go up more. I wouldn't say that I'm completely sedentary, but I don't have the most active lifestyle up until this point (desk jockies unite!), but again - making steps. Again, weight went down. There's a point, I promise.
So I decide to have a day where I'm not that careful. Still eat loads more vegetables than I'm used to, but indulge in a venti Starbucks Chai Latte, other snacks, crackers and things like that. Literally overnight my stomach started hurting so badly (thanks IBS) and I gained a solid 4lbs back. Almost immediately.
It really put a lot of things into perspective, honestly. That my eating has way more to do with me than I thought that it ever did. I don't enjoy food the way most other people. I eat because I'm hungry, I like some flavours, but I don't dream about food, I'm never excited to eat something, it's just a means to an end for me. I don't treat it medicinally like I should be. It goes to show me that while I've made strides to mentally focus on one thing at a time and to increase mental mindfulness, I need to extend that into other realms in my life, like food and eating.
I also, really, really don't care for the upset stomachs. I hate it because I don't know if I have to lay down, or just not leave the house. I have had far fewer attacks when I'm more rigid about my food, but there are still a few. I think because I'm, still trying to figure things out.
Toyed with going vegan-ish again, and maybe I will. I felt so good when I was vegan, let me tell you. It was really hard though.
anyway, that's all that, and while this is boring as heck for so many people, I'm enjoying writing things down lately.

If you’d like to keep these instructions handy, go ahead and download the complete guide for safekeeping or printing.
OVEN BAG CHICKEN COOKING TIMES (AND OTHER POULTRY):
The easiest way to roast juicy, flavorful chicken and poultry without the hassle of messy cleanup is with a Reynolds Kitchens® Oven Bag. They’re the perfect helper to whip up an easy, delicious family meal. The entire meal is cooked in one bag, with meat, vegetables, and flavorful seasonings combined to create a satisfying one-pan meal. Follow the directions and oven bag chicken cooking times chart below.
Reynolds Oven Bag Instructions for Chicken and Other Poultry
Preheat the oven according to your recipe or the oven bag cooking time chart.
Add one tablespoon of flour to the bag, twist the bag closed, and SHAKE (this will keep the bag from bursting). You may substitute wheat, rice, potato, nut, or gluten-free flour, cornstarch, corn meal, matzo meal, or finely crushed crackers instead of flour.
Place the bag in a pan that is at least 2 inches deep.
Add vegetables, if desired, and arrange them evenly in the oven bag. Spray the inside of the bag with non-stick cooking spray, if desired.
Brush thawed chicken or poultry with oil or melted butter and season as desired. Place chicken on top of vegetables in the bag.
Close the bag with the tie included in the package, then cut six 1/2-inch slits on top of the bag to allow steam to escape. Tuck the ends of the bag in the pan.
Place the pan in the oven, allowing room for the bag to expand during cooking without touching heating elements, walls, or racks. The bag should not hang over the pan.
Bake according to the oven bag cooking times chart or recipe.
ALWAYS CHECK FOR DONENESS WITH A MEAT THERMOMETER.
OVEN BAG CHICKEN COOKING TIMES
The cooking times are consistent with food safety guidelines provided by the USDA.

phase 1; pt 2: healthy eating habits*☆。.:*・゚**
okay... first step of having a nice body is eating healthy (I'm pescatarian btw) ...creds
Macronutrients
Proteins are essential for muscle repair and growth
4 kcal/gram
fish/seafood, eggs, legumes, tofu, edamame
Carbs essential for energy
4 kcal/gram
fruit, legumes, bread
Fats essential for hormone production
9 kcal/gram
nuts, nut butter, seeds, oils
* the amount of macronutrients you eat daily should pertain to your overall body goal. for example: if you prioritize muscle gain, you should eat 50% of carbs, and 25% of fats and protein*
the average woman should eat about 2000 calories per day. Since I want to lose weight, I have to subtract 500 calories, make the total about of calories consumed per day 1600. here's my macronutrient pie chart using this calculator :
Tumblr media
Calorie Counting and Portion Sizes
Portion control:
to control the number of calories I eat per day, I plan to focus more on my portion sizes to limit calorie intake without having to count every calorie.
The 9-inch plate rule: dived the plate into 3rds, with carbs, fats, and protein in each section, and have a side of fruit on the side for dessert.
These portion control plates will be a perfect tool to help me do so.
I'm horrible at calorie counting so I think I'll focus more on tracking my intake of protein, carbs, and fats without focusing too much on total calories.
Planning and prepping meals is also an easy way to hit all calorie and macronutrient targets
Calories Deficit and Intermittent Fasting
My TDEE is 2259, meaning if I stay under this number by eating 1600 calories a day, I'll be in a calorie deficit.
4-8 (9 for me lol) hour window of eating, fast for the rest of the day. for me, this would look like having my first meal at 8am, and my last meal by 5pm.
tips
drink 32oz of water with each meal to feel fuller and help reach the goal of 1 gallon of water a day
peppermint tea to repress hunger
Foods to Eat: mostly whole foods and minimally processed
legumes
fruits
veggies
seeds
brown rice
oatmeal
whole wheat pasta
quinoa
Foods to Avoid: (at least once in a while)
refined carbs (cake, candy, soda)
trans fat
processed meat
fried foods
meal ideas
brown rice, cooked seafood poke bowl
shrimp and veggie stir-fired
avocado and shrimp salad
sweet potato and shrimp or salmon
red lentils shrimp and veggie wraps
lentil soup

@msgameandcake asked me a question re: Tooru and we ended up finding out a pair of interesting things
Tumblr media
1: This old ass fitness chart that I didn't remember until i double-checked the chapter to see if/how Tooru did better than Deku, on average, at the fitness exams. The answer is "she did barely better" but this also raises the question of how Grape Nuts ISN'T in last place? He'd have worse trouble than Deku at most, if not all, of the tests because he is of small and irritating stature. Two tests are unknown, but the remaining ones are 50m Dash, Grip Strength, Standing Long Jump, Side Hops,Pitch, Endurance Run.
2: Ochako potentially scored infinite on two of these events (and DID on one) and is still only in 10th place.
This thing has to be weighted somehow. It can't not be. How the fuck do you get infinity scores and not win?

Meeting Your Daily Protein Needs: A Guide for Diabetic Patients
Introduction:
Protein is an essential macronutrient that plays a crucial role in various bodily functions, including building and repairing tissues, producing enzymes and hormones, and supporting a healthy immune system. The amount of protein one should consume daily depends on several factors, such as body weight, activity level, and individual goals. In this article, we will explore the recommended daily protein intake based on these factors and highlight 10 excellent vegetarian and non-vegetarian sources of protein.
Know more details of PCOS Diet Chart at our official website…
Additionally, we will discuss important considerations for individuals with diabetes.
Determining Daily Protein Requirements:
When determining your protein needs, it's important to consider your body weight and activity level. The general recommendation for sedentary individuals is 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight. However, for those who engage in regular physical activity or strength training, higher protein intake may be necessary to support muscle repair and growth.
For active individuals, a range of 1.2 to 2.0 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight is often recommended. Athletes or those engaging in intense training may require even higher amounts, typically around 2.0 to 2.5 grams per kilogram of body weight. It's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian to determine the ideal protein intake based on individual needs and goals.
Top  Vegetarian Protein Sources:
1. Legumes and Pulses: Lentils, chickpeas, black beans, and other legumes are excellent sources of plant-based protein. They also contain fiber, vitamins, and minerals, making them a nutritious choice.
2. Quinoa: Considered a complete protein, quinoa contains all nine essential amino acids. It is also rich in fiber and minerals like iron and magnesium.
3. Tofu and Tempeh: Made from soybeans, tofu and tempeh are versatile sources of protein. They are low in saturated fat and can be used in a variety of dishes.
4. Nuts and Seeds: Almonds, chia seeds, hemp seeds, and pumpkin seeds are packed with protein, healthy fats, and other essential nutrients.
5.  Yogurt: This dairy product is an excellent source of protein, calcium, and probiotics. Opt for low-fat or non-fat varieties and avoid added sugars.
6. Cottage Cheese: Cottage cheese is a low-fat dairy product that is high in protein and calcium. It can be enjoyed on its own or added to salads and recipes.
Top  Non-Vegetarian Protein Sources:
1.. Chicken Breast: A lean protein source, chicken breast is low in fat and high in protein. It is versatile and can be prepared in various ways.
2. Fish: Options like salmon, tuna, and trout are rich in omega-3 fatty acids and high-quality protein. They also provide essential nutrients like vitamin D and iodine.
3. Lean Meat: Lean cuts of meat, are excellent sources of protein and iron. Moderation is key due to their higher fat content.
4. Eggs: Eggs are a convenient and cost-effective protein source. They contain all essential amino acids and are also rich in vitamins and minerals.
Considerations for Diabetic Patients:
Individuals with diabetes should pay attention to their overall carbohydrate intake when incorporating protein-rich foods into their diet. It's important to choose protein sources that are low in saturated fats and added sugars. Here are some additional considerations for diabetic patients:
Balanced Meals: Include a variety of protein sources along with complex carbohydrates, healthy fats, and fiber to help stabilize blood sugar levels.
Portion Control: Be mindful of portion sizes to avoid excessive calorie intake. A registered dietitian can provide guidance on appropriate serving sizes.
Timing and Distribution: Spread protein intake throughout the day to support blood sugar control and enhance satiety.
Protein Powders and Supplements: If necessary, diabetic patients can consider incorporating protein powders or supplements into their diet, but it's important to choose those specifically formulated for diabetics and consult with a healthcare professional.
Conclusion:
Protein is an essential component of a balanced diet and plays a vital role in overall health and well-being. The amount of protein needed daily depends on factors such as body weight and activity level. By including a variety of protein-rich foods in your diet, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, you can meet your daily protein needs. For individuals with diabetes, it is crucial to consider the quality and quantity of protein sources while maintaining an overall healthy eating pattern. Consulting a healthcare professional or registered dietitian can provide personalized recommendations to ensure a well-balanced diet that meets individual needs.
