Excuse the blowing of my own trumpet here… this is one of my favourite mixes that I've done and it was probably my most favourite night spent on the internet, logged into the Box Frequency chat room and hearing what people thought. It was so positive and one of the few times I felt like I fit in with a community.

It's a shame that it is no more but I'm grateful to have played a part in it. This was my second guest mix for Johnny Burns and his 'My Favorite Things' show.

I saw a thread on r/suzerain about this a while back and thought it was an interesting discussion (and if you have any idea how I feel about that subreddit, you'll know that's really saying something).

So the game states that if there is a vacancy in the office of the vice presidency, the cabinet will select potential candidates and the president will appoint one of them. If Anton Rayne does find himself in the position of needing a new VP for whatever reason, we're told Lucian is the front runner, followed by Gloria and Albin. This raises a fun question ��� who did each cabinet member vote for?

Starting with the very easiest, Iosef and Lileas would both back Gloria. Similarly, I think Ciara would support Albin, and probably Nia as well. (Although Nia would most likely be okay with Lucian in a reformist Rayne administration.) Pretty sure Deivid would go with Lucian — they're usually aligned on most thing during the game, and they're both part of Anton's longtime inner circle.

So what about Symon, Paskal, and Gus? What does everyone think?

Paskal should have become a Magos Dominus and commanded skitarii maniples on the battlefield. then he'd have his hive mind and would be able to charge at people with an axe to his heart's content while getting less opportunity for inadvisable leadership positions, unorthodox reforms or zealous adherence to novel ideologies. truly it's a tragedy. the Adeptus Mechanicus was robbed.
