Hi ! Wanted to ask if you could write a fluff happy story with james lee ( when he's in highschool ) maybe like a date with the reader ? And if you could tag me if you do it ? Thanks !
you're lucky i like you
james lee x reader
Tumblr media
a/n: hi i'm so sorry i literally did not see this ask back then, but now it is done.
𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝 𓆟𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝 𓆟𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝 𓆟𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝 𓆟𓆝
You should’ve known James Lee didn’t do anything halfway.
He didn’t just top exams — he finished first and didn’t bother showing up to the award ceremony. He didn’t just win fights — he walked away without a scratch and with his hands still in his pockets. And apparently, he didn’t ask people out on dates either.
He told them.
So, when the perfect prince of your school casually stopped by your desk in the middle of biology and said, “You’re free today after school, right?” you stared at him like he’d grown a second head.
“Um... I think so?” you said, blinking.
“Good. You’re coming with me.”
And with that, he walked off.
No explanation. No smirk. Just a flick of his hair and a calm arrogance that made you want to throw your pencil at his back.
After school, James was already waiting for you near the back gate, leaning against the fence like something out of a manga panel. One headphone in, hands in his pockets, expression unreadable.
You approached, wary. “So... where exactly are we going?”
He didn’t look at you right away — just started walking.
When you didn't follow at first, he stopped to look back.
"Are you coming or not?"
You tried to keep up, but his legs were longer and his pace unapologetically fast. Still, when you finally caught up, you noticed he’d slowed down just enough for you to match.
“You always walk this fast?” you asked, a little breathless.
“I usually don’t have someone with me,” he said, glancing at you. “But I guess I can adjust.
Somehow, that simple sentence made your face heat up.
You ended up at an old arcade tucked between two buildings. The sign flickered with half-dead lights, but the inside buzzed with life: flashing machines, retro games, the scent of cheap snacks and overheated consoles.
James slid a gaming card into your hand without a word.
“I already beat the high scores,” he said, clearly waiting for praise. “But maybe you’ll surprise me.”
You gave him a look. “And let me guess — if I don’t, you’ll make fun of me for the rest of the week?”
He smirked, the very picture of self-satisfaction. “Obviously.”
But you weren’t going down without a fight.
Thirty minutes later, you were definitely losing.
James destroyed you at every game — driving, dancing, shooting. He wasn’t even trying hard, which somehow made it worse. After each win, he’d glance over with that smug tilt of his head and say something infuriating like:
“Don’t take it personally. I’m just built different.”
Or worse:
“You looked really focused that time. Almost thought you had a chance.”
You threatened to throw your water bottle at him. He laughed, and for a split second, it was easy to forget he was the same guy who could bench press half the school.
Then you reached the claw machine.
“I want that one,” you said, pointing to a squishy cat plush with big round eyes. “Bet you can’t get it.”
James raised an eyebrow. “Watch me.”
He slid in a token. Missed. Narrowly.
“Fluke,” he muttered.
Second try. Closer — but still no plush.
You were grinning now. “Thought you were good at everything?”
He looked like he wanted to fight the machine.
By the fifth try, when he finally snatched the plush and dramatically handed it over, his ears were red and his pride clearly wounded.
You clutched the plush to your chest, triumphant. “You like me that much, huh?”
James narrowed his eyes, a smile twitching at the corner of his mouth. “Don’t let it get to your head.”
You leaned closer. “Too late.”
Later, the two of you sat on a curb outside the arcade, sharing a warm convenience store snack and watching the sky turn pink.
James was quiet for a while, then said, “You’re the only person I’ve brought here.”
You looked at him. “Really?”
He nodded, still chewing. “I hate crowds. People try to talk to me, challenge me, show off. It’s annoying.”
You laughed. “So why me?”
James shrugged, then met your eyes. “You’re... quiet. But you say what you think. You’re not scared of me. And you don’t try to impress me.”
Your chest did a weird little skip. “And that’s enough for a date?”
He leaned back on his hands, smug again. “No. That’s enough for me to chase you.”
You stared. “Wait. Are you saying you like me?”
James smirked. “I’m saying you’re lucky I do.”
You were speechless — and he loved it.
When you finally stood to leave, plush in hand and heart threatening to leap out of your chest, James walked you home without being asked. Just like earlier, he adjusted his pace — this time without pretending he didn’t care.
At your front door, he stopped.
“Next time,” he said, eyes sharp but warm, “you’re buying the snacks. I already carried this date.”
You laughed, shoving his shoulder. “I think my winning personality carried it, actually.”
James grinned, rare and real. “Keep thinking that. It’s cute.”
And then, like the cocky menace he was, he turned and walked off — hands in his pockets, looking like nothing special had happened.
But you were still standing there, plush in your arms and cheeks burning, realizing this might’ve been the best date of your life.

Hi! I saw a post where you had a game made in godot with old school rendering, do you maybe have any tips on how to make godot render a game like that instead of its normal rendering method?
I'd be right happy to!
I'll try to make this concise lol, I always end up overexplaining and then getting lost in the weeds. Buckle up, it's a loooooot of little little things that all add up.
First off, you should decide which look you're going for. N64 and PS1, the two consoles I'm emulating, both had drastically different specs. (plus, there's plenty of other early 3D systems I've not even touched!)
The N64 had texture filtering (textures were interpolated aka "blurry"), it had floating point vertex precision (points moved correctly), it had perspective correction on its textures (no warping)
The PS1 had no texture filtering, no floating point vertex precision (vertices snap and pop around), affine texture mapping (textures warp weird). I also think the color space they operate in is different? Don't quote me
So you can go hard one way or another or pick and choose what you think looks good! We don't have anywhere near the hardware restrictions they did in the 90s so go nuts.
RESOLUTION
To get a low resolution window, I set the window size of the game and the window override size to different amounts
Tumblr media
In green is actually how big the window is on my screen (4k monitor) and in red is the retro resolution I want. If you set the stretch mode correctly (an option a little further down the Window tab) then it'll make the pixels big
Tumblr media
COLORS
Now the PS1 had the capability of showing you over 16 million different colors, but it could only display 50,000-150,000 at a time, so in order to get more fidelity out of it, the engineers implemented a dithering effect to better blend the otherwise sharp edges between colors.
I used this shader to achieve the dithering effect. If you don't understand shader languages, that's fine. There are a few different pre-built ones for looking like the PlayStation 1 out there.
TEXTURES
Textures for the PS1 could be as big as 256x256, but they were typically 128x128. And they would squish everything a model needed into there usually, at least with like player models and objects and such.
As mentioned, if you're not good with shader language don't worry. There are countless resources out there that people will either let you use or teach you how it works. But I'm gonna touch on it a little bit here.
PS1 textures had no pixel filtering, so you could see individual pixels.
Tumblr media
This is what determines that in the shader code. If you want it to look like the N64 (blurry lol), the proper hint is "filter_linear". Note that it won't be 1:1 with N64, cuz they used bilinear filtering (which kinda sucks and causes weird quirks) whereas now you'll only find linear or trilinear filtering. It's a negligible difference imo.
PS1 textures also were only saved using 15 bit color. I'm told that Photoshop's "Posterize" filter set to 32 can achieve this, but don't use photoshop if you can help it. I use GIMP, and while a newer version might have a posterize filter, or there may be a plugin out there, my version doesn't so I cluge it a little.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Change your color mode to "indexed", set color dithering to how you like it, and the number of colors in the palette to a number to get a good result. Usually I'll do 16, 8, 32, but occasionally I'll cheat and do a non-multiple-of-8 teehee >:3c
You can change it back to RGB after to make further editing easier.
LIGHTING
N64 and PS1 both implemented vertex lighting, as opposed to the more modern and (now) ubiquitous per-pixel lighting. Godot as it is right now (4.2 i think?) claims it has vertex lighting that you can set as a shader property but they're lying and it doesn't work yet.
The old consoles could only handle like, 2 lights though so it doesn't matter much.
The real star of the show, and in my opinion the one thing that makes a game most look like the 90s is the inclusion of vertex colors.
By multiplying the color of your texture by its stored vertex color, you can do all the shading yourself!
Plus you can reuse textures like crazy just by coloring them differently. The N64 also made heavy use of vertex colors by forgoing a texture on models entirely and just painting them using verticies. The only textures on SM64 Mario are his eyes, stache, hat emblem, buttons, and sideburns. Everything else is done with vertex colors.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here you can see this level from my Crock Land with no vertex coloring, with some of the vertex colors only, and then with the two combined.
Tumblr media
Rare loved this. Look at how colorful that cliffside is in Jungle Japes. It makes it so much more interesting than just a brown cliff face. Plus you can see the vertex coloration instead of textures at work on DK and the Gnawty.
Tumblr media
My go-to example for PS1 is always Spyro, what a gorgeous game. All of those colors there are not made by a light or an environment. They're hand painted babey! Also! With spyro! The skyboxes are actually just huge domes made up of vertices that are colored in different ways! That's how they can look so colorful and "hi-res".
There's plenty more you can do, like adding a CRT filter or a little bit of chromatic aberration which I haven't gotten into yet.
The way I've learned all this is just by being curious as to how the old consoles did their thing, and slowly accruing the knowledge over time. There's still infinite stuff I don't know too.
I hope that helped! And wasn't too longwinded or confusing! Like I said, it's all about piling up tons and tons of little things, small details, weird graphical quirks that really bring out the retro 3D feel for me.
And I didn't even get into the modeling side of things! That's an entirely different "color-of-the-sky"-sized post though.
I'd be happy to re-explain or explain more about any of this!

I’m feeling like crap so no writing will be done today (probably) so instead have sonic movie headcanons.
Sonic
- There’s always something hidden in his quills. ALWAYS. He takes a full chili-dog out of his quills one day and Maddie forces him to clean out his quills. They find crap he thought was just completely lost.
- Speaking of his quills, they’re always a mess. Think of eternally frizzy hair, now translate that into quills. The hair gel is a necessity.
- He really likes watching vine compilations and tries to drag everyone else into watch with him.
- He pretends to like first person shooters, but he actually really likes playing games like cult of the lamb. His favorite part is decorating his in-game area.
- (Based on a real hedgehog fact) Sonic’s purring sounds like rumbly huffing. He thinks it’s embarrassing.
Tails
- He’s the kinda guy to watch videos on retro game consoles repairs and modifications.
- He probably plays Minecraft but only with the Create mod.
- Tails stays up ridiculously late. Tom and Maddie tried assigning him a bedtime, but gave up after they found him with a new fully-built device for the third morning.
- He has a stash of trail mix. Brain food!
Knuckles
- He really likes Super Smash Bros. He absolutely challenges Tails and Sonic to play a match with him.
- When he learned grapes could just grow in a garden, he was overjoyed! There’s a mini grape garden in the Wachowski backyard now.
- He eventually gets the hang of sports and really enjoys watching games. The sport doesn’t matter, as long as it’s not tennis (he doesn’t understand what the hell is going on in tennis)
- (Based on a real echidna fact) Knuckles has a lower body temp than many mammals do. Sonic was concerned at first until Maddie told him that echidnas on earth also have low body temps compared to most mammals.
Shadow (general stuff plus “what if he joins the Wachowski family” stuff)
- He really likes rollerskating. Kinda obvious, but it’s very relaxing for him.
- Having been frozen for 50 years (and having only lived on a spaceship before that), he is kinda behind on pop culture. Sonic tries really hard to help, with… varying success.
- When he finally learns what a Hot Topic actually is, he asks Sonic to bring him to one. Turns out, he really likes the random pin basket (is that a thing everyone else’s Hot Topics also have? Just a basket full of random pins?) but not much else.
- He likes the sudoku app. That’s the only “video game” he cares to play.
- He’s a big fan of spicy food and coffee. Specifically those two. He probably carries around a bag of those ghost pepper espresso beans.
- (Based on a real hedgehog fact) Shadow’s purring is a bit more similar to a cat’s compared to Sonic’s. Loud and rumbly.
I had fun writing these. Please please please feel free to share some of your own headcanons, movie specific or not. I love headcanons so much :D
(I really enjoyed doing research for these little fact based traits, they were fun!!!)

For like, the past decade and a half I have found that any time I got a new games console I would try to work up the same kind of excitement I had when getting new consoles as a kid like the gamecube, ds and psp, and consistently what happened ever time was that I'd buy it, try to work up enthusiasm for it and actually keep up with new releases and get involved in modern gaming communities, but then inevitably every time I'd barely play any of the games I get for it since they just didn't grab me, and then inevitably I'd just sell the console to buy more retro games. this happened with 3ds, new 3ds, ps4, wii u and switch.
It took me ENTIRELY too long to realise that pc gaming was what I needed to get back into playing more modern games. I just assumed I wouldn't like pc gaming without trying it fully because I was specifically trying to recapture, again, excitement I got from consoles, and also pc gamers being pc gamers (the unironic "master race" fuckers) turning me off with their usual selling points of just "4k 180fps and no visible polygon edges", which makes it come off like you need overkill $2000+ gaming rigs capable of that kind of thing to actually experience the advantages of pc gaming
That isn't the case at all! you can build a computer for cheaper than next-gen consoles that is able to run lots of modern games at 60fps and 1080p. If you can settle for 30fps you can go even cheaper. You don't even need to buy a windows license anymore since Linux is free and its compatibility with windows software has gotten so good. If building a PC yourself is intimidating you could do what I did; buy a cheap OEM (pre-made) second hand desktop computer for cheap, like sub-$100 cheap, and use that to experiment with learning how to upgrade CPUs, gpus and ram. Using an old win7 HP desktop computer I bought for under $50, I managed to get it running doom 2016 at 30fps just by adding a new graphics card and CPU. doing it this way let me learn more about PC components so that when it was time for me to take the plunge and build my own PC from scratch I knew what I was doing. start cheap, and then if you discover that you need more powerful parts to run stuff you actually want to play, then you can start upgrading. There's no need to buy the highest end graphics card if a low-mid tier graphics card is already running everything smoothly after all. Just recently I built my girlfriend her own PC and managed to keep the price to around $500 (new zealand currency to be clear, which is like $300 USD). It was enough to run saga emerald beyond at 60fps which I was really happy with, but it did end up at around 30fps in other games like god eater 3, so we got a new graphics card once we could afford it.
And even with a cheap computer you can still experience a lot of what makes PC gaming so much fun. Indie games generally aren't demanding on hardware and there's far more of them on PC than there are on consoles. Indie games are genuinely some of the best modern games out there, frequently outdoing the AAA developers in lasting replay value and fun. plus, even the ones on consoles are better on PC thanks to extra features and content like mods, level editors and so on. there's also mouse and keyboard often being a more natural fit for game genres such as strategy and simulation games (I feel the same way about first person shooters as well but your mileage may vary there. Oh yeah also definitely play doom mods, they're awesome). Even if you're not into mouse and keyboard controls (I do really recommend practicing with it though! the speed and precision a mouse gives you is amazing), you'll still have a ton more controller options available on PC since basically anything that can be connected through USB or Bluetooth can be used. You also get access to fan made ports and remakes of classic games, all with their own mods and user made content, plus a ton of amazingly high quality standalone fan games (dr robotnik's ring racers is a recent fave of mine). You also have MUCH better access to older games on PC. You can be assured that stuff from the PS3 era will work superbly on modern PCs, and even a lot of 90s games work well out of the box on linux without needing to jump through hoops, in contrast to not even being able to play PS3 games on PS4. There's SO many cool aspects of modern gaming you can only experience on PC and it's not just playing microtransaction laden AAA games with marginally better graphics than on consoles.
This was meant to be about my disinterest in the switch 2 (not to say I think it'll be awful, I haven't looked enough into it, but I've already got my modern gaming covered by my computer unless some especially good exclusives win me over) but I got sidetracked and I just ended up gushing about how much i love computers oops

is the retroid pocket a good investment? i saw your tags and am curious! :]
Tumblr media
i'm probably biased bc i'm so used to buying retroid but yea. it's slightly pricier than some other options you might find due to the price creep of the gradually upgrading chipsets but its definitely worthwhile from my perspective, as someone who likes retro emulation and android gaming. all retroids have bluetooth support to connect extra controllers, headphone jack for audio, sd card slot to load up games from, wifi for downloading more games, and display out options to connect to a tv or somethin! you gotta bring your own games unfortunately, but it does come built in with some emulation apps to install during setup, and a choice between using the standard android OS, or the custom Retroid branded Launcher to launch games from! generally i use my retroid to play PS1, PSP, PS2 and GBA games, although im pretty sure it can handle N64, Dreamcast, NDS and 3DS too. basically if there's an android emulator or RetroArch core for it, the Retroid can probably handle it, YMMV.
the most recent model line, the Retroid Pocket 5/Mini, is still available on the GoRetroid website. generally if you're buying a retro handheld then make sure you buy it directly from the original site/source so you don't get ripped off by some offbrand seller trying to pawn one of those 100-in-1 knock off consoles on you.
time for an autistic ramble about my collection since i love these devices so much...
Tumblr media
the original retroid pocket 2! this was the first device that caught my eye and my gateway drug into retro emulation handhelds, as it only cost $80 back in 2020. there were pink, yellow and cyan colorways too, but indigo was the most popular option :P it was a little awkward, what with the switch style analog sticks not having R3 functionality and only having one gig of RAM, but it got the job done. it also had micro HDMI out to connect to a display, kind of a hassle since micro HDMI isn't too common, but they used to sell micro HDMI cords on their site along with other accessories (screen protectors, grips, cases, etc...)
Tumblr media
the retroid pocket 2+ was an upgraded model released a year later for $90, with 2GB RAM and a touchscreen added. still no clickable analog sticks but oh well! i bought the PS2 style colorway, a lot of their colors are styled after other retro consoles. the 4:3 screen was kinda cute! difficult for playing PSP games since it letterboxes the screen, plus you have to do some extra tweaking in the emulator settings to get it to work properly...
Tumblr media
less than a year later, they made the Retroid Pocket 3! this one signalled a change in their release system in many ways, most notably the fact that now every retroid model comes in 2 versions: a cheaper model (with less storage/RAM) and a premium model (with more storage/RAM). personally i've never had any reason to go with the cheaper model, especially since the power difference can be so vast between the two sometimes, so every model i have is the premium model. this one cost $130, which is quite the price jump, but the added quality made it worth it for me :) the RP3 was Retroid's first foray into a 16:9 device, great for playing PSP/NDS, and easy to work with the 3GB RAM. any 4:3 games will have letterboxing on the sides now (unless you have a widescreen hack or something) but i never minded that much. also, this is the first Retroid model with R3 functionality on the joysticks! it might not matter much to most people, but i really wanted to play Ape Escape on the go :3
Tumblr media
at some point GoRetroid realized the Retroid line kinda peaked with the RP2 form factor, so they brought it back with some added improvements for those looking for an updated 4:3 handheld, now now known as the Retroid Pocket 2S. idk what the S stands for! its looks pretty similar to the regular RP2, but with clickable hall effect joysticks on the bottom, a PSVita style DPad, and up to 4 GB of RAM. i loved this one! for a while i used to switch between the RP2S and the RP3, depending on if i was in the mood for PS1 or PSP gaming. the black crystal shell was also neat, i love clear electronics :3 price went to $120, more expensive than the original RP2 line but cheaper than the RP3. worth the price, considering the QoL improvements they made over the original RP2!
Tumblr media
then there's the Retroid Pocket 4, released around the same time as the RP2S. this model has the same shell as the RP3 for those looking for a 16:9 form factor, while retaining the improvements from the RP2S (hall effect joysticks <3). this device is currently my go-to for portable retro emulation, with 8GB RAM and android 13 compatibility. this one can play some lighter PS2 games, but i mostly use it to play balatro these days. also, convenient feature; since the Retroid Pocket series is just an android with a built in controller, any android games with controller compatibility can be played with the Retroid controls. theres also a gamepad mapper to map button controls to other android games that don't have built in controller support, but i've never used it so i can't vouch for it -_- the RP4Pro was $200 on release, yowch! still definitely a worthwhile investment, but a far cry ffrom the original price tag of $80 back in 2020... there's still some discounted models of RP4 on sale on their website, although there's not many left, as GoRetroid is mostly clearing space for their newest model...
Tumblr media
...the Retroid pocket 5! this model signifies another shift in Retroid's design, as they've shifted to a PSVita looking model with the rounded features and glass front panel. i got the gamecube colorway since i really liked the vibes it has... aesthetically this is the best Retroid Pocket model yet. the 3d hall sticks also have RGB LEDs built in than can be customized from a built in app, and an OLED screen that looks especially gorgeous on the black RP5 model, as the bezel screen blends right into the rest of the glass face. this one is their priciest model yet, clocking in at $200 for the RPmini and $220 for the RP5. this model also removed the micro HDMI port in favor of a display out USB-C port like how the nintendo switch does. they also released an official dock with HDMI and ethernet ports to go along with it! i haven't switched over to the new model yet since its still 8GB RAM like the RP4Pro and it'll probably take a while to move some of my android apps over, but i've heard good things about this model! it's also linux compatible from what i've heard (ROCKNIX, Batocera) but once again I Haven't Tried Those Yet
but yea that's my collection! Retroid has served me pretty well over the years, i give it the Saint Lesbian Seal of Approval

Sexuality:
Biromantic cupiosexual (as Pupipi)
Questioning (as Marty)
Gender: Female
Human weight: 103 lbs. (46 kg)
Martian design: She resembles a female Mars Quotidian, but stands at an impressive 8' 1" (246.38 cm), surpassing the standard height of female Martians. She has lifeless ultramarine eyes, Rebecca purple skin with a dogwood rose sheen, translucent apple green stinger tentacles, bittersweet shimmer leg tentacles, and coral pink suckers. The centre of her face features a massive, vaguely oval-shaped patch of scarred flesh, appearing as if it had been brutally torn away. The tip of her front leg tentacle had been ceremoniously severed, a symbol of her status as a Martian commander—a ritualistic tradition required by all who hold this position.
She alternates between three primary weapons: a lightweight ray gun, a custom-built spear she constructed herself, and two heavily modified grenade launchers. The grenade launchers, originally used by the Regular Army, have been extensively reworked and now resemble those wielded by the awakened Clone Eri in Metal Slug Attack. Her custom-built spear has a gauntlet-point shield in the centre of the shaft that serves as its grip and something to protect herself. The spear shaft is crafted from a 8' 7" (261.62 cm) slender cylinder of pearlescent bluish-white adamant. The base of the spear is tipped with a design similar to the top of the Martian staff, which is used for healing battle wounds, summoning lightning storms, and enveloping the user in a fiery aura. The spearhead features a greenish-blue halberd blade, secured to the shaft by three tight golden rings.
She possesses two vehicles: a Mars Gigantalos with the Martian race logo emblazoned on its chest, and a personalised Mars Elite Pepapiro (Mini-UFO). The latter was modified with Tarma Roving's assistance, equipped with dual 12mm Vulcan cannons, one mounted on each side.
Human design: As her human persona, Marty Aionion, she’s a 4' 11" (149.86 cm) sylph-like Caucasian girl who appears to be between the ages of 6 and 12. She has olive skin, a chipped upper right canine tooth, sparkling red-violet eyes, and brownish freckles scattered across her face and neck. Her cameo pink hair is styled in a straight bob with choppy, blunt-cut bangs and chin-length, layered, slightly curly sides.
She wears a pristine lab coat that reaches to her knees, along with the same goggles as Navel, but with purple-tinted lenses. She wears a greyish-green tank top, a silver-buckled chocolate cosmos belt, pale azure gloves, and lapis lazuli bloomer shorts with cargo pockets. Additionally, she also dons a lapis lazuli cat-eared beanie, dark purple knee pads, mid-calf solid pink socks, and Syracuse red-orange paratrooper boots. She has a Syracuse red-orange backpack, which contains her entire collection of Beanie Boos and six soda cans in various flavors: grape, cream, orange, cherry, cotton candy, and blue raspberry.
Character summary: She's very kind-hearted and sweet towards other Martians who share her progressive view of humanity and towards humans who demonstrate respect, responsibility, and environmental awareness. She strives to see the good in others and offer aid, but remains aware of her limitations, recognizing that some people are too entrenched in their ways to change. She can usually detect when someone is trying to take advantage of her, especially if she has known the person for a long time. However, she may struggle to identify psychological manipulation if the person appears genuinely sincere or if she isn't well-acquainted with them. She can be somewhat selfish, believing that her actions are for the benefit of those she cares about. She'll desperately seek solutions to her loved ones' problems, and if she makes mistakes, she'll own up to them and work to make things right.
Whenever she feels anxious or awkward, she often rubs her stinger tentacles together and looks back at those she trusts for emotional support. A reassuring nod or thumbs-up is enough to boost her confidence and help her relax, prompting a sigh of relief and encouraging her to maintain a level head. Her biggest supporters are her polyamorous partners, whom she deeply loves and would do anything to keep safe and happy. Her partners also serve as her closest comrades in war and her scientific and engineering colleagues, assisting her with strategic planning, commanding troops, building machines and weapons, conducting ethical experiments, and protecting her from sudden attacks. She's also a proud mother, viewing her children as precious and drawing motivation from them to face adversity with courage and diligence. When she's curious, she frequently tilts her head and gently probes whatever has caught her interest. She's easily startled by sudden noises or people approaching from behind, often letting out a loud squeak or an unearthly yet somewhat quiet squeal.
She's a well-organised, observant, and charismatic leader who ensures her plans run smoothly and prioritises everyone's safety. She constantly monitors the Pipovulaj's operations through a network of spies and detailed reports, ensuring she and her comrades are prepared for the eventual invasion of Earth. She deeply hates how the Pipovulaj ruthlessly eliminate members of the Pipakhroz, disregarding their shared heritage. However, she also believes that the Pipovulaj are capable of change by acknowledging their faults and becoming more open-minded to the idea of coexisting with humanity. She acknowledges that humanity isn’t perfect and has done various heinous things that disturb Earth’s equilibrium, but she knows that the Pipovulaj’s view of them is incredibly flawed and heavily biased. She's dedicated to protecting humanity from extraterrestrial threats because she regards humans as equals, and finds them, like all other life forms, extremely fascinating.
She's a strong advocate for peaceful coexistence, demonstrating great dedication to her cause and unwavering loyalty to the Mars People she serves and the humans she supports. She has a nurturing presence, offering motherly care and compassion to children and vulnerable individuals. She forms emotional attachments quickly with those she considers family or close friends. If they suddenly disappear, she becomes extremely distressed, often to the point of experiencing severe panic attacks that can impact her ability to work. With a burning desire to protect those who couldn’t defend themselves, she often displays a self-sacrificing nature. She’s willing to put herself at risk of severe injury or capture in order to stand up for what she believes is right and support her comrades. She's genuinely surprised that many high- and low-ranking Martians in the Pipakhroz revere her as a hero.
She has grown to somewhat dislike her nickname, Pupipi, because many humans jokingly tell her it sounds like a toilet joke. However, she's aware that among Mars People and Rootmars, Pupipi is an endearing and childish form of her given name. She's a passionate nature lover, often hugging trees, studying fauna and flora, planting flowers, and trying to befriend friendly animals. She's profoundly repulsed by environmental mistreatment and wildlife cruelty as her desire to protect and admire Earth's life is undermined by humanity's capacity to harm it. She would be disheartened if all humans and cybernetic beings feared Martians as her own kind is not universally driven by prejudice, conquest, and a desire to impose environmental stewardship through force.
She's an age regressor, reverting to a younger age when life's stresses become overwhelming. To cope, she's developed a unique persona named Marty Aionion. Marty is a bubbly, curious, and impressionable young girl with an enthusiasm for science, particularly outer space, chemistry, and animal biology. She's incredibly energetic and has a tendency to crash hard at bedtime, exhausting her physical energy reserves after a day of non-stop activity. She has a moderate level of self-awareness and a tomboyish spirit, often showing little interest in traditionally feminine pursuits. Marty frequently finds herself in playful and carefree misadventures, often at the most inconvenient moments. She also has a fondness for soda and enjoys playfully mimicking the effects of being tipsy.
As Pupipi and Marty, they both see Rootmars as a loving and overprotective mother who prioritises her leadership, planetary resources, and the Mars People above everything else. However, they're frustrated that Rootmars refuses to reconsider her discriminatory views on humans and recognize that coexistence is essential for protecting Earth's resources and transforming humanity's ecological perspective. They long to be closer to their creatress, whom they love deeply, but their conflicting views and Rootmars' ruthlessness and distrust of the Pipakhroz make it a challenging goal.
As Pupipi, she has a strained relationship with Celaphios, fueled by her deep-seated prejudice against Invaders. She views Invaders as ruthless destroyers and irredeemable exploiters of planets. As a result, she sees no reason to treat Celaphios with the same dignity and respect as humans and other life forms, often coming across as dismissive and condescending in her interactions with him. As Marty, she's deeply terrified of Celaphios due to his Invader origins, causing her to keep her distance for fear of getting hurt. Despite this, she makes a conscious effort to be friendly and welcoming towards him, even though she's aware that Invaders are the natural predators of her own people.
As Pupipi, she feels profound sympathy for Wysteria, perceiving her as a lost child who lashes out at the world due to her struggles to understand humanity. She provides Wysteria with motherly care, ensuring her well-being and safety from mistreatment by the comrades who only view her as a monstrous bioweapon. She has grown fond of Pocke, whom she views as the sweetest being, finding enjoyment in babysitting and educating him about the Martian lifestyle and beliefs. Furthermore, she deeply admires Walter's selfless decision to raise a Martian child as his own, finding his actions truly commendable. As Marty, she regards Wysteria as a quiet, grumpy, and gentle-hearted friend. She greatly enjoys sharing simple pleasures with Wysteria, such as exploring nature and playing with plushies. She finds Pocke irresistibly adorable and is amused by his mischievous antics, especially when he gets into trouble with Midori.
As Pupipi, she holds Raubtier, Malkuth, and Draco in high esteem, regarding them as her own children. She's deeply disturbed by the Invaders' brutal takeover of Raubtier's home planet and the extinction of the Neptunians. She's also concerned about his coping mechanism of preying on living things when he's feeling melancholic and emotionally overwhelmed, recognizing it as unhealthy. She encourages Malkuth's passion for radio technology and nurtures her innate benevolence. However, she's concerned about her unstable and immature mind, fearing that her harsh tendency to purge evildoers without hesitation could potentially spiral out of control.
She has a good relationship with Draco and is able to translate for him due to his inability to speak the human language and his lack of fluency in perfect Marsinese. Nevertheless, she makes a conscious effort to ensure that Draco's competitive nature and love of sparring don't cause any severe problems. As Marty, she regards Raubtier, Malkuth, and Draco as her closest friends, thoroughly enjoying their company and finding them to be beautifully captivating individuals.
Backstory: Pupazivoy was born a decade before the Mesozoic Era. She was the second female Mars Quotidian and the fourth Martian to be created by Rootmars during an experiment aimed at creating living beings to alleviate her loneliness and bring new meaning to her life. The first generation of Pipomarzu, now known as Martians or Mars People, were all sexually mature adults, but were initially curious, impressionable, and childlike. Rootmars, who had constructed a language that would eventually be named Marsinese, gave each of them names; Pupazivoy was the first to receive her name. Following Rootmars' comprehensive education on various subjects, Pupazivoy developed a fascination with laser technology, robotics, chemistry, and genetic engineering. Recognizing the potential for a fulfilling life, she took the initiative to delve deeper into these areas of interest.
It was a steep learning curve because Rootmars wasn't a fully competent leader at the time and was still getting accustomed to the role, learning everything required to sustain an alien empire. However, the inhabitants of the Rugname persevered, determined to prove themselves worthy of their existence and make their creatress proud. To simplify the task, Pupazivoy focused on the malfunctioning cloning room of the Rugname. While others struggled to repair it, fearing a catastrophic explosion or disruption of the fragile stasis chamber, she effortlessly restored the room to working order within a week. To test her handiwork, she created a nearly identical clone of herself, naming it Pepacluvix. This clone would later become the namesake for a term referring to Martian clones. This achievement impressed Rootmars and earned Pupazivoy admiration from the other Pipomarzu. However, some were secretly jealous of her natural talent and the praise she received from their creatress.
She earned the nickname "Pupipi" from her closest friends and trusted acquaintances, who worked alongside her and shared an interest in her areas of expertise. As the first generation of Pipomarzu grew older and matured mentally and emotionally, she became more familiar with robotics, bioengineering, and chemistry. She made important advancements in the Pipomarzu's machinery by building lightweight and heavyweight ray guns, Mini-UFOs, Hopper Mechas, and Laser Ring Mechas using the limited resources available on the mothership. Believing that her people might require additional defense capabilities and seeking efficient ways to eliminate enemies, she created a wide variety of poisons using chemical samples available on the Rugname. Following the creation of the Brain Robot, designed to facilitate easy command of the Laser Ring Mechas, she went on to care for numerous infants and raise a large family of her own, consisting of up to twenty-five children. Her partners consisted of Pizuklamo, a male Mars Elite, Povrukaziy, a female Mars Garrison, and two male Mars Quotidians, Pepuxofhla and Puvjadhosi.
Pepacluvix suffered mistreatment at the hands of the Pipomarzu, who viewed it with distrust and saw it as a pale imitation of Pupipi. Driven by burning jealousy and hatred, they regarded Pepacluvix merely as a super soldier, ignoring its glaring lack of basic self-defence skills. Noticing Pepacluvix struggled to fit in with the other Pipomarzu, she went to great lengths to test the limits of bioengineering. After several weeks of intensive experimentation, mutation, and surgery, she successfully created what she considered to be her true masterpiece: Pupekloitha. She imbued her artificial life form with the ability to articulate, understand, and speak all known languages, utilise limitless telepathy and mind-reading, and forcibly displace both tangible and intangible foes, transporting them to entirely different locations beyond her range of vision and mental map of the current area she's in. She can manipulate earthly energy and silence, intercept radio signals in outer space, wield diamond-hard strength, and remain invulnerable to forces as powerful as twenty nuclear explosions. Additionally, she can launch five bolts of cosmic energy to incinerate anything living or dead in heavenly flames by opening the eyes in her torso, glowing a fiery blue. She can also utilise echolocation to effortlessly locate hidden treasures throughout the universe and create a rhomboid blue energy shield in front of her to block incoming attacks.
With resources dwindling and the Rugname's proxy poised to disrupt the electricity supply at any moment, Rootmars tasked the Pipomarzu with finding a habitable planet and assisting in the construction of a new proxy. Although Pupipi had a designated role, she took charge, directing her comrades and Pupekloitha to locate a resource-rich planet. Meanwhile, she and the others remained behind to draft blueprints for the Rugname's new proxy. With Pupekloitha's help, they soon discovered Kepler-62f, a terraformed planet abundant in resources.
After the Invaders accepted the Pipomarzu, Pupipi initially found it difficult to trust them. She was uncertain if they could be considered true allies, and their indifferent attitude towards her and her species only deepened her concerns. Nevertheless, she tried to remain optimistic about the alliance, not wanting to cause immense worry for Rootmars as she was being trained to become a better ruler. Utilising the resources the Invaders had on hand, as well as those acquired through collaborative conquests, Pupipi and her coworkers developed various Martian weapons and machines, including the Mars Walkers and portable communication devices. She also assisted Rootmars in creating the Parasites, which would significantly aid the Invaders' conquests and survival.
With the Pipovulaj established, Pupipi harboured a burning desire to protect the weak. However, years of relentless work had taken a toll on her physical health, leaving her fragile. Rootmars noticed her condition and, with Pupipi's consent, subjected her to an experimental procedure designed to enhance her powers. This experiment would alter her physical form and grant her more psionic abilities, nearly rivaling those of Rootmars herself.
When she noticed that four of her children and a son of Povrukaziy had gone missing, she was worried sick about their safety to the point where she couldn’t even work. So, she and her romantic partners went looking for their missing children, wondering what had happened to them. During the search, they stumbled upon the Invader King’s hive for the first time. As they carefully investigated the area, they witnessed a group of Invader Drones sexually assaulting a female alien, who was taken captive during a conquest of 61 Virginis b. This traumatic scene left them deeply disturbed, prompting them to flee back to the Rugname and report to their creatress that there is something terrible going on behind the scenes. This proved to be a turning point, leading Rootmars to uncover the truth about the missing Martian infants and the Invaders' true intentions, permanently severing ties with the Invader King.
Upon landing on Mars, the Pipomarzu were greeted by a handful of surviving draconic lizards, slowly nearing extinction. These winged creatures possess fiery breath, immense strength capable of tearing through steel and mountains, effortless flight, and the ability to breathe in the vacuum of space. They can also shapeshift into two-legged serpents known as Sea Dragons, which grant them the ability to control the waves. They can summon six or eight monolithic, crystalline tridents from the clouds that shatter into sharp shards of hail upon impact with the ground, easily swim through the air and vacuum of space, and exhibit exceptional diving skills. Pupipi played a pivotal role in forging a peace treaty between the two races, stating that the Pipomarzu would uphold their environmental stewardship and care for the Martian lizards and their home planet. Following the establishment of the treaty and the peaceful settlement on Mars, Pupipi befriended a Martian lizard, referred to as a Paplozurde by her kind. She named him Dracoini Cepholaus, or Draco for short, as a tribute to her creatress' star system, situated near the celestial boundary of the Cepheus, Ursa Minor, and Draco constellations.
She was promoted to commander shortly after aiding the Martians in stopping the Invaders' conquest of Jupiter. Alongside Pupekloitha and Draco, she successfully led a counterattack to protect the Monoeyes' UFO, Danu, from destruction and capture by the Morph Changers. Although she was devastated to discover that the Brain Robot had been confiscated by the Invaders, Pupekloitha reassured her that they would retrieve her creation when their paths crossed again. Shortly after the war, she began to age regress due to the cumulative stress of managing multiple jobs, the traumatic event she witnessed in the Invader King's hive, and a deep-seated desire for safety that surfaces when she feels overwhelmed by fear.
She witnessed the same phenomena as Rootmars when observing the evolution and forgotten history of Earth, which she kept to herself and only shared with the Monoeyes. She developed a strong fascination with humanity, finding their thought processes and actions peculiar and captivating. Alongside her romantic partners and a few coworkers, Pupipi conducted studies on humans to observe their behaviour and environmental impact. During this period, Pupekloitha renamed herself Malkuth, feeling a profound psychic connection to the physical world.
She began to notice Rootmars' disdain towards humanity and their treatment of Earth’s resources, reminiscent of the Invaders' environmental disregard. This deeply concerned her, as she, her romantic partners, and some friends and acquaintances believed humanity had the capacity to change for the better and not all humans mistreated the environment. However, they kept this belief private, observing that many Martians shared Rootmars' perspective and harboured potential ideas of claiming Earth for themselves. Their first attempt at conquering Earth failed when Tequila and Red Eye dismantled the rogue military organisation the Pipovulaj had collaborated with. The Pipovulaj had planned to betray the organisation once most of humanity had succumbed to their bioterrorist attack, which aimed to turn humans into Man Eaters. She served as one of the leading commanders during that time and had a brief skirmish with Tequila. Following their encounter, she sustained severe facial scars inflicted by his combat knife.
During the Arms Deal Barrage, following the formation of the alliance between the Serapion Fellowship and Pipovulaj, Rootmars and Pupipi led a robotics project focused on developing advanced weaponry to support their joint efforts. Collaborating with the mechanics and engineers of the Serapion Fellowship, they successfully designed and constructed several key assets for the Pipovulaj and Ptolemaios' army, including the Mars Gigantalos, Mars Battle UFO, Ptolemaic Saucer, Hover Unit, D-001 Tanbal, and the standard-issue handguns used by the masked soldiers. Additionally, she commanded a small contingent of Martian youth recruits, assigning them to conduct surveillance operations. Once the Arms Deal Barrage was over, she oversaw cloning experiments using the corpses of fallen Serapion Fellowship soldiers and cultists. Her goal was to determine whether the Rugname's cloning room could produce clones from dead bodies and explore the consequences of cloning without a host, using only the lingering DNA in the stasis chamber.
Upon learning of Rootmars' intentions for the latest Martian machines and cloning experiments, she was deeply unsettled by the prospect of conquering Earth when the time came. She was disheartened by the pervasive bias among many Martians, including some long-time colleagues, who viewed humans as an inferior species due to their perceived disregard for the environment. Compounding her distress was the weight of guilt she carried for the lives lost among the Martian youths under her command during the Arms Deal Barrage. These concerns ultimately led Pupipi to devise a rebellion in collaboration with her romantic partners, children, Malkuth, Draco, and a network of supportive coworkers, friends, and acquaintances who shared her vision and were equally disillusioned with Pipovulaj's morally objectionable plans and dehumanising views on humanity.
After gathering substantial resources, establishing a secret base in Greenland's uninhabited regions, and meticulously preparing their strategy, she launched her rebellion against the Pipovulaj. Pupipi and her allies orchestrated a series of heists, plundering valuable assets from the Pipovulaj, including the blueprints for the Rugname, cloning technology, and Martian weaponry. This rebellion successfully stalled the Pipovulaj's military expansion and machinery development by several months. Rootmars initially refrained from interfering, believing the conflict to be a massive misunderstanding that the parties involved could resolve on their own. However, as the fight showed no signs of ending, Martian casualties mounted, and the Pipovulaj were on the brink of collapse, Rootmars intervened. She promptly exiled Pupipi and her comrades, issuing a stern warning that she would obliterate them if they dared to show their faces again. This event ultimately led Pupipi to establish the Pipakhroz, a Martian splinter cell dedicated to thwarting the Pipovulaj's ambitions and safeguarding humanity.
During the Great Morden War, Pupipi, Malkuth, Draco, her romantic partners, and the Pipakhroz maintained a low profile. They observed the conflict between the Rebel Army and the remaining Regular Army forces. She managed to get a close-up view of the battle in Käthehirt Valley using her Mini-UFO, briefly witnessing the confrontation between Allen O'Neil and a team of Regular Army commandos. Afterwards, she returned to the smaller mothership replica of the Rugname and continued assisting her comrades with its construction. She wondered if an alliance with the Regular Army might be possible when the time arose. During this period, they seized the opportunity to build up their arsenal and gather intelligence on the Pipovulaj's activities, while Malkuth spent a year and a half traveling throughout the Solar System.
Shortly after the Rebel Army and Pipovulaj formed their alliance, they captured a mysterious alien residing in Earth's ocean while testing out a Hozmi-class submarine. The alien was held captive on Pallas Island, home to many mutated creatures. Ferdinand dubbed it "Raubtier" after it managed to prey on several Martians and Rebel soldiers during the capture. Confined by tight ropes, the alien felt scared and unable to utilise its malleable body to shapeshift into anything it could imagine, prompting it to seek help. It transmitted telepathic waves that resonated as swooshing sounds to those attuned to hear them.
Disguised Pipakhroz troops intercepted the distress calls and launched a rescue mission, overwhelming the small contingent of Rebel Army and Pipovulaj troops stationed on Pallas Island with the aid of Draco and Malkuth. Once freed, Raubtier became a valuable ally, expressing its gratitude for being saved. It shared with the Pipakhroz that it originally lived on Neptune before being displaced by the Invaders. Raubtier was then forced to move to Earth's oceans, which reminded it of outer space. This new environment served as a distraction from the painful reality that it was the last remaining Neptunian. She studied that Raubtier can lift three super-heavy tanks, split itself into four weaker versions, and spew out a large pool-sized puddle of ocean water to summon two sets of six tentacles, along with two disembodied, carnivorous, fiery mouths to bite and burn its enemies.
After receiving intel from her trusted spies that the Rebel Army and the Pipovulaj were planning to launch their coup within days, Pupipi decided that forming an alliance with the Regular Army was the best course of action. However, with limited knowledge of the military group's operations and uncertain about their location, they embarked on a search for a Regular Army base. After four days of searching, they finally discovered the Sparrowhawk Operations Base and discreetly landed their newly completed mothership, the Martian Helicarrier, in the vicinity. Pupipi contacted Marco's recently assembled team, who were still recovering from the aftermath of the Great Morden War and awaiting their next mission. After establishing trust, which didn't come easily for Marco and the others, they held a meeting at the Joint Military Operations Headquarters. Following a lengthy discussion about the nature of the Pipakhroz and the dangerous ambitions of the Pipovulaj, a second imminent Rebel Army coup was revealed. As a result, an alliance was forged between the Pipakhroz and Regular Army.
During the Extraterrestrial Alliance Clash, the Pipakhroz primarily functioned as spies, gathering intelligence on the Rebel Army's and Pipovulaj's strategic plans as well as identifying locations of deployed Martian troops. Whenever Pipovulaj troops were deployed in the same location as Marco's team, they provided crucial support, helping them push back against Rootmars' military forces. Their collaborative efforts led to the destruction of the Big Shiee, damaging the Rugname, and the capture of General Morden. Pupipi, Malkuth, Draco, and Raubtier vividly recall the frustration and defeat felt by the Pipakhroz and Marco's team when they discovered that the captured General Morden was actually a disguised Mars Quotidian troop. Much to their dismay, they learned that the real General Morden had been hiding inside the Rugname all along.
The Regular Army discovered her capabilities as a scientist after she assisted their available scientists in studying the biochemistry of the Mutated Soldiers they had captured during a secret cleanup operation. Wanting to cultivate a positive professional relationship with the Pipakhroz, the higher-ups approached Pupipi and inquired if she would be interested in leading their science division. Ecstatic about the opportunity to further assist humans and apply her scientific skills, she happily agreed to the request. With her expertise and strong rapport with the scientists, she has helped them become the best in their field, serving as their new and ethical version of Doctor Amadeus.

Do you know what this is? Probably not. But if you follow me and enjoy retro gaming, you REALLY should know about it.
Tumblr media
I see all of these new micro consoles, and retro re-imaginings of game consoles and I think to myself "Why?" WHY would you spend a decent chunk of your hard-earned money on some proprietary crap hardware that can only play games for that specific system?? Or even worse, pre-loaded titles and you can't download / add your own to the system!? Yet, people think it's great and that seems to be a very popular way to play their old favorites vs. emulation which requires a "certain degree of tech savvy" (and might be frowned upon from a legal perspective).
So, let me tell you about the Mad Catz M.O.J.O (and I don't think the acronym actually means anything). This came out around the same time as the nVidia Shield and the Ouya - seemingly a "me too" product from a company that is notorious for oddly shaped 3rd party game controllers that you would never personally use, instead reserved exclusively for your visiting friends and / or younger siblings. It's an Android micro console with a quad-core 1.8 GHz nVidia Tegra 4 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage (expandable via SD card), running Android 4.2.2. Nothing amazing here from a hardware perspective - but here's the thing most people overlook - it's running STOCK Android - which means all the bloatware crap that is typically installed on your regular consumer devices, smartphones, etc. isn't consuming critical hardware resources - so you have most of the power available to run what you need. Additionally, you get a GREAT controller (which is surprising given my previous comment about the friend / sibling thing) that is a very familiar format for any retro-age system, but also has the ability to work as a mouse - so basically, the same layout as an Xbox 360 controller + 5 additional programmable buttons which come in very handy if you are emulating. It is super comfortable and well-built - my only negative feedback is that it's a bit on the "clicky" side - not the best for environments where you need to be quiet, otherwise very solid.
Alright now that we've covered the hardware - what can it run? Basically any system from N64 on down will run at full speed (even PSP titles). It can even run an older version of the Dreamcast emulator, Reicast, which actually performs quite well from an FPS standpoint, but the emulation is a bit glitchy. Obviously, Retroarch is the way to go for emulation of most older game systems, but I also run DOSbox and a few standalone emulators which seem to perform better vs. their RetroArch Core equivalents (list below). I won't get into all of the setup / emulation guide nonsense, you can find plenty of walkthroughs on YouTube and elsewhere - but I will tell you from experience - Android is WAY easier to setup for emulation vs. Windows or another OS. And since this is stock Android, there is very little in the way of restrictions to the file system, etc. to manage your setup.
I saved the best for last - and this is truly why you should really check out the M.O.J.O. even if you are remotely curious. Yes, it was discontinued years ago (2019, I think). It has not been getting updates - but even so, it continues to run great, and is extremely reliable and consistent for retro emulation. These sell on eBay, regularly for around $60 BRAND NEW with the controller included. You absolutely can't beat that for a fantastic emulator-ready setup that will play anything from the 90s without skipping a beat. And additional controllers are readily available, new, on eBay as well.
Here's a list of the systems / emulators I run on my setup:
Arcade / MAME4droid (0.139u1) 1.16.5 or FinalBurn Alpha / aFBA 0.2.97.35 (aFBA is better for Neo Geo and CPS2 titles bc it provides GPU-driven hardware acceleration vs. MAME which is CPU only)
NES / FCEUmm (Retroarch)
Game Boy / Emux GB (Retroarch)
SNES / SNES9X (Retroarch)
Game Boy Advance / mGBA (Retroarch)
Genesis / PicoDrive (Retroarch)
Sega CD / PicoDrive (Retroarch)
32X / PicoDrive (Retroarch)
TurboGrafx 16 / Mednafen-Beetle PCE (Retroarch)
Playstation / ePSXe 2.0.16
N64 / Mupen64 Plus AE 2.4.4
Dreamcast / Reicast r7 (newer versions won't run)
PSP / PPSSPP 1.15.4
MS-DOS / DOSBox Turbo + DOSBox Manager
I found an extremely user friendly Front End called Gamesome (image attached). Unfortunately it is no longer listed on Google Play, but you can find the APK posted on the internet to download and install. If you don't want to mess with that, another great, similar Front End that is available via Google Play is called DIG.

If you are someone who enjoys emulation and retro-gaming like me, the M.O.J.O. is a great system and investment that won't disappoint. If you decide to go this route and have questions, DM me and I'll try to help you if I can.

Looking for some old school game recs, everyone. NES and SNES. I got one of those retro multi console thingies a while back but haven’t really built up my library. (Although it was a feather in my cap that my childhood copy of Super Mario Bros still works.)
I snagged both Skate or Die games, a couple of Kirby games, and all of the Mario Bros games. And the Monopoly NES game because holy hell, it was THE game of my childhood. (It has no right to go as hard as it does.)
