like 100%. i feel like sniper would try very very hard to keep calm and rationalize that he's probably just out for a weirdly long run or hanging out with pyro but the longer he goes without seeing scout, the more paranoid he gets, especially knowing how dangerous the desert can be and how terribly equipped for it scout might be. meanwhile spy would IMMEDIATELY blame sniper and have his revolver pointed at his head the entire time demanding him to find his son or face the consequences, when in reality he's also panicking inside
