Fun fact before it started getting so cold outside I would see one squirrel basically every time I went to the garden, but it would always be just one. Every time I would think like "Oh I shouldn't get my hopes up I probably won't see a Squirrel today" but then there it bewas.

A game of First, Last, Next, and Favorite.

First concert: Dream Theater + Big Wreck at the Vanderbilt Planetarium. A then-friend of mine won a radio contest and got sixteen free tickets but only managed to give away half of that. We all had balcony seats and for the entire show I heard nothing but white noise. It was my first large-scale concert I attended and I had no idea how deafening they could be. It was like losing your V-card to very rough sex with a leather mistress.

Last concert: Skinny Puppy + Lead Into Gold. I always told myself it wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't see the headline. Wow, I was never so wrong in my life. I took no chances and got tickets the day after they announced it. It was one of the most significant shows I ever attended. I went with several amazing mutuals whom I followed, witnessed an amazing Skinny Puppy performance, met Paul Fucking Barker (!!!), had pizza, and all six of us went to the industrial club. It was an unbeatable Perfect 10 day.

Next concert: I once counted out Cold Waves '23 in New York City. But, if I can pull off working at home and stay with the company, Chances are it's a go.

Favorite concert: A tough one. Either it's Hospital Productions' 20th at Warsaw or Sacred Bones' 15th at the Knockdown Center. The former showed me that there was a place for me in New York City, and I got to see Godflesh headline with Prurient, Clay Rendering, Dedekind Cut, Orphx, and others. The latter was a literal dream to attend and started during sundown. That line-up was Constant Smiles, The Men, Anika, Squrl / Jim Jarmusch, Spellling, Uniform, and Black Marble headlining. The feeling was so unreal. You had to be there.
