Kiss Saint Germain because somehow I think this man probably is a damn passionate kisser after all the years alive there is no way he wouldn't be.

Fuck Ikki I mean yes a life would him would be great but just damn there is no way he would not rock your world in bed. I'm afraid this man is one that would make you question life choices after being with him all night.

Marry Impey Barbicane although he isn't my favorite I think he would make one damn good husband. He is sweet when he needs to be, protective, caring, and fuckin smoking hot (especially in the shower)

Code:Realize truther again, I mean objectively speaking the best routes for Cardia specifically are Victor, Saint-Germain and of course, Lupin.

But frankly the obvious best boy is Impey the backbone of the game

AYYYYY IMPEY THAT'S MY BEST BOOOOOI! Though I'm of the opinion that Saint Germain has the absolute best route in the game, Impey narrowly takes the win for my favorite guy.

I feel like Hammerhead is a little similar to Impey since they're both engineers who get roasted by the other guys a lot. Hope he'll be able to join your list of favorites. :)

It's Armored Core Weekend!

And, as I started clearing out the HD on my PS4, and discovering some unplayed games I meant to finish... I'm playing a Visual Novel about 1800s literary figures instead.

It's not that Armored Core is bad. I loves the first few sorties! But fiddling with all the color specs, and custom building decals, and trying to learn some very complicated subsystems and principles for mecha design... it's a lot, both on my brain and my thumbs!

Ah, Code:Realize. It's so relaxing to go on dream dates with the likes of Arsene Lupin, Victor Frankenstein, and the Compte Saint-Germaine. Oh look, we're solving the mystery of the heroine's amnesia! Oh my, we're taking a new horseless carriage out for a ride in the countryside! oh dear! Abraham van Helsing has showed up and he's bringing in his Dark And Troubled Past with him!

AC is fine, but this is just comfy

“It isn’t going to be effective.” Van Helsing says over his shoulder. “You all run, I’ll buy you some time.” “Hold on, Van. You couldn’t handle this guy by yourself last time, yeah?” Impey says with a nervous laugh. “I’m not going anywhere.” “I’ll stay too. No matter how hard that armor is, chemicals should still be able to affect the person inside.” Fran says, glaring daggers as he circles the figure, still shrouded in smoke. Slowly, silently, he pulls a myriad of vials out of the holster at his thigh, all different colors— trial and error. Impey follows suit, circling the other direction. “…Do what you want. Just don’t get in my way.” Van sighs, forcing an unbidden smile off his face. He can’t have them seeing it and getting all sentimental on him, they’re too attached as-is. Besides, Impey won’t ever let him live it down if he realizes that their decision to stay brought Van Helsing a small sense of relief, and that would be a fate worse than death.

This is for base game only; I have the FDs but haven't gotten to them yet.

It's that time for another tier list though! I'll put my thoughts below since there will be spodlers.

So, going from lowest to highest:

Impey: He was cute! His flirting did get on my nerves; he came on too strong 90% of the time, but I always felt he meant well but was just stupid, so I forgive him. At the end of the day he was a good boy and he gave me some dokis, which is why he's not friend tier. I wish they did more with the vampire thing but eh, whatcha gonna do.

Van Helsing: Ohhh his route excited me so much. I do love a broken man. I spent 80% of it believing he would turn out to be a werewolf, and while I am happy with what we got I still think werewolves would fit the setting quite nicely. His final act really gripped me, especially with the mind control stuff; it gave me callbacks to Orlok in the hotel and any Orlok feels are good feels. Technically he could fit into hot mess as well, but I think I like him just a bit too much.

Lupin: I was NOT expecting to like him this much! But gosh his confession scene was by far my favorite, I was giggling like a kid. Very sweet, very wholesome with just a touch of danger. His CGs were all top-notch too, especially the one where he kisses Cardia's head through the hat.

Victor: Tied with Lupin! Another very sweet and wholesome man who is just a bit broken. I am endlessly amused that him and Lupin are technically the only ones whose respective endings let them get down with Cardia scott-free when they're like...the wholesome gang. I liked his romance a bit more than Lupin's, but Lupin's story a bit more than his, so they balance out perfectly. Both excellent green flag choices.

Saint-Germain: I cried. I fucking cried so hard for this beautiful, broken man. The moment he went yandere in the second mansion I knew I was hooked, but I always had a feeling he was going to break my heart in the best way. He's an amazingly tragic character. I loved his plot, I loved his character arc, I just love him. I hope the FDs expand on their romance in a really rewarding way because while the fact he can touch her but it hurts is thrilling, I just want them both to be happy.
