i think it’s really weird how they let sap ‘mcc anger issues’ nap even enter an event like this, let alone fight tubbo, the guy that clowned on his bestie for being a fucking idiot. and how the people officiating creator clash let him request to fight tubbo in particular. and how sap ‘anger management issues’ nap still openly admitted that he requested to fight tubbo so he could fight someone he actually wanted to hurt. and they’re still letting him fight tubbo

and on top of it all, isn’t creator clash a mostly friendly event meant for charity??? as in, the people fighting are fighting to win money for charity??? not to beat up some guy that they have beef with because he called out their groomer freak housemate???

idk, i hope tubbo wins cause he deserves it, but still the things leading up to their fight becoming a thing rub me the wrong way and are kind of weird on creator clash’s behalf for allowing

Lila has no reason to sabotage Marinette because Marinette isn't threatening her little empire she wants to build. In fact, she really wants Marinette on her side BECAUSE she's not apart of the school, so she doesn't need to keep up an elaborate web of lies! She can just try to befriend a talented girl who makes AMAZING food and try to get freebies~

Since I work at a power station now, new headcanon that the Bats use Gothams Power station as a makeshift jungle gym.

Dicks climbing around without a grapple scaring the fuck outa Bruce when he flips himself off the top turbine hall and barely catching himself on one of the railings.

Tim, Staph and Cass are playing a complicated game of hide and seek/ tag. Trying to minimise the use of their grapples to not destroy the place. Cass is winning by a margin. She’s now just trying to scare the shit outa both of them.

Damian is checking all the nests scattered around the site. Scattering feed and fixing nests that have been destroyed. (Much to the dismay of every operator who just wants them gone. Unfortunately for them, the last engineer who kicked a nest had both his legs broken shortly afterwards. Everybody knew who did it. Nobody wants to talk about it).

Both Duke and Jason have graduated form understanding how the plant works and instead are arguing about how to make it better/fun things to do. Topics include: using leftover heat to heat homes in crime alley, including some sort of gas capture system, making shit hotter, and opening the turbine to “watch it spin nothing will happen B shut the fuck up”.

Hm! I honestly haven't thought a lot about Alma's abilities other than typical ghost stuff like shapeshifting and walking through walls. I kinda yapped a bit so it'll be under a cut!

The term 'possession' makes me think that you'd need a living creature in order to take their place as a host, but maybe it can work in other contexts?

Alma wouldn't want to possess a living being but a stuffed doll might work,,, I don't think they'd be able to move it around much if it was life-sized though, considering they already struggle with touching things.

As for sensation, since the doll doesn't have nerve endings I don't think Alma would pick up on much other than a subtle pressure like the stuffing/cotton being squeezed. That said, if you really wanna give a good hug, a standard plush is probably better than a life-sized doll!

I'm probably overthinking too much here but I genuinely am trying to step into the shoes of a ghost possessing a doll for the sake of a hug! That's just what I think it'll feel like!

Quiet In the Library

For the umpteenth time that day, I was TRYING to get some cleaning done in Leonardo’s room. It just seemed every time I got a path cleared or a surface free, he had it piled with something new. That didn’t mean I wasn’t going to give it my best shot. Leonardo was even supposed to be helping me. Yet I hadn’t seen him for a couple of hours. Though perhaps that was a good thing. I could make more progress if he weren’t here to immediately clutter things up behind me.

I sighed as I picked up the stack of books and carried them back to the library. I had made some decent progress. Perhaps after putting the books away, I would treat myself to a cup of tea. I entered the library and was surprised when I found Isaac asleep at one of the tables. He must have been up late doing some research. I decided it was best to leave him be and headed for the shelves in the back where these books needed to go.

That was when I found the missing Leonardo. He sat on the floor, his back against one of the shelves and a book opened in his lap. There was a stack next to him…and he was sound asleep.

I shook my head. “I should have known.” I muttered. I sighed as I put the books I;d brought in away. I then knelt down to pick up the books around him. I saved the book in his lap for last. As soon as I reached for it, his much larger hand was grabbing mine.

I turned my gaze from the book to Leonardo’s face. He wore a sleepy grin even as his golden eyes danced with amusement. “You’re working too hard, cara mia.”

I frowned at him. “Well, someone has to since you can’t seem to do any work without needing a nap.”

Leonardo chuckled. He was then pushing the book aside and the next thing I knew, he was pulling me into his lap, his arms wrapping around me and holding me tight to his chest. “It’s good to slow down and take a nap when you need it.” He said, kissing the top of my head. “Besides, you and I both know, cleaning my room is a losing battle.”

I struggled against his embrace to pull back and look at him. “Hey, I made progress…granted I made most of it when you weren’t there.”

He laughed once again. “Cara mia…”

“And then I had to clean up your mess in here. Can’t have you making a mess of the library.” I said. “It’s bad enough that your room is such a disaster.” I was then trying to get up, but Leonardo held me fast.

“Don’t think I’m gonna let ya get back to work so easily, cara mia.” 

I huffed. “Leonardo I…mph…” My sentence was cut off by his lips on mine.

When he broke the kiss, there was mischief dancing in those golden eyes. “I was trying to get ya to take a nap with me, but you’re too wound up for that aren’t you?”

“Leonardo…what are you thinking?”

He grinned. “Just that I’m gonna have to do something to unwind ya.” He answered, his hand sliding slowly up my leg, teasing my thigh through the fabric of my skirt. He leaned in and placed his lips at my neck, kissing and playfully nibbling at that one spot he knew melted me every time.

My heart picked up its pace even as a shiver ran down my spine. “Leonardo…right here? In the library?” I hissed, though I had ceased my struggling.

He chuckled against my ear, breath dancing along my skin. “Yeah, I was quite comfy here.” He answered. “And you will be too, here soon.” His hand was then slipping under my skirt, fingers teasing at my thighs before sliding further up. I felt his lips twist into a grin against the side of my neck. “You naughty girl…not wearing anything under this skirt.”

When you encounter a lava lake while mining, remember ECLAIR:

EVACUATE: Back up to give yourself enough time and distance to respond appropriately. Remember, lava is much slower than you, and is only dangerous if you touch it!

CONTAIN: Place dirt or stone between yourself and the lava to separate it from the rest of the mine. If the lava touched anything flammable, use your Emergency Water Bucket to extinguish the fire. Don't forget to replace any torches that were broken by use of the Emergency Water Bucket.

LEAVE: Exit the tunnel intersecting the lava lake and move on to the next one. Never dig perpendicular to a known source of lava!

APPROACH: Using your existing tunnel pattern as a guideline, carefully dig toward the lava from opposite sides until the boundaries of the lake are adequately mapped.

ILLUMINATE: Make sure the location of the lake is clearly marked and signposted. Duplicate or alter normal logistical signs as necessary to direct foot-traffic around the affected area. (Consult your Employee Handbook for specific signposting guidelines.)

RETURN: Go back to normal mining activities.
