a list:

i'm baking my nan a cake whilst she's getting her hair done. i'm watching snooker with my grandad in the break, because he likes the company, even though i have no idea what's going on. we're going to eat the cake in about an hour, with a cup of tea, our weekly ritual. my grandad teases me about there being sultanas in the cake.

my boyfriend's football team wins a match and I buy him a pint. my best friend gives me her best friend's jumper. i've bought my mum a birthday gift and i can't tell her about it. i rant to my best friend about a problem and she tells me "block them. you don't like them." and she's realised it before i have. i play a FPS with my dad and uncles and brother even though i have rubbish aim.

i kiss my dog on the forehead and give him some scraps. i pet my other dog's gravestone and tell her she's a good girl. i can't see it but i know her tail is wagging.

my friend gets me a tray of biscuits for completing my degree, and i bring him juice when he's sick. my other friend cooked me pasta because i missed home-cooked meals.

an old man tips his hat to me in the street. teenage boys ask if i'm okay when i drunkenly slip on ice. i'm at a pub, and the table next to us starts tapping out a beat, and suddenly we're all singing a song we only half know. a little girl tells me i look like a princess. an old woman tells me she wishes she could pull that outfit off, and i tell her she's can. a woman in the old nightclub i used to work at tells me i won't be stuck at this job forever.

someone comments on my post that this helped them. i save someone's poetry to my shared collection with my friend. i dance in my room to my artist's favourite music. i watch a minecraft stream for comfort.

✧A Safe Person (SP/SAP) is a Special Person attachment that occurs with individuals with Avoidant Personality Disorder (AVPD). The person with AVPD (pwAVPD) is comfortable with their SAP, believing they won’t be rejected by them. The pwAVPD may feel like they can make mistakes, talk about their interests, and simply be themselves around their SAP. Their SAP is not considered a perceived risk of being rejected or ridiculed, and therefore, they may make it easier for the pwAVPD to form a relationship with them. Without their SAP, the pwAVPD may feel a bit lost or invisible. Despite having a more relaxed state with their SAP, their pwAVPD’s disorder may still affect the way they interact with them, and the pwAVPD may not be willing to share things they consider 'too risky' even for their SAP✧

SAP, my company, is searching for students that are willing to get a Bachelor in Computer Science, called VT/STAR, Vocational Training. I'm adding here all the details and the links, but let me recap why it's a great thing for you.

The Bachelor is a 3-years program and you get paid while you study!!! First year, 1.300 EUR per month, then 1.450, and finally 1.600 EUR.

You have full access to all SAP facilities in the Campus, like the canteen, the sport gym and many other social places, with no costs on your side.

The Vocational Program is intended to hire young people, so once you complete your Bachelor, you pass the exams, the chances are quite high to be hired in SAP and start your career there.

The whole program is paid 100% by SAP. In detail:

this is not for German students, this is for any EU non-German student that is willing to start a Bachelor program intended to hire a future developer/data scientist/AI expert. For any EU citizen, this Bachelor program has no costs on your side, you just come and start.

for any non-EU citizen, you're charged for a one-time-only 1.500 EUR entry fee, and that's it.

Just to be transparent, the company does not cover any costs due to the relocation to Walldorf, Germany, those are on you.

The Bachelor start on September, 1st, every year, you need to go through an interview and pass an entry test, there's no deadline for your application, but if you apply once the program has already started and you pass it, you'll be in the line for the next year automatically.

Excellent written and spoken English => no, you just need the English required to study a STEM discipline, we don't need any future Shakespeare, you don't need to bring any English certification, you'll prove your knowledge at the interview, that's it. No German language is required!

Programming skills in at least one programming language => you don't need to be a senior, you don't need to be an expert, you just need to have some basic knowledge about what coding means, what is OOP, and some other basic computer programming concepts. If you have ever written a simple program on your own, I mean, something on the educational level, chances are that you can fit the program.
