Introduced in 1972, these forms using Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) technology were quickly adopted by many schools for multiple choice quizzes and exams, especially secondary schools and institutions of higher education. Tis Democracy Season and I have filled in many tiny bubbles in blue or black ink on my Democracy Ballot.
