"I hear you left Han Yoojin-ssi in Seseong's hands?" Seok Shimyeong, who'd heard the gossipers around him, said with amazement. "Hyung will be more at ease with him." Han Yoohyun tried very hard to speak calmly. To be exact, Sung Hyunjae was someone who Han Yoojin wouldn't have to feel burdened by. He didn't have to look after him, and even if he suffered any damage, he wouldn't have to worry as much. Unlike with his young kids, whom he'd want to wrap his arms around and let his own body be cut through in order to protect.

I just started reading the sctir novel and I gotta say I feels like Yoojin should get a restraining order for Seok Simyeon or something. Like that guy just keeps calling him. Take a goddamn hint dude
Even being liked by Seok Simyeon doesn’t give him a break smh

You need to hear me out on this, but if you headcanon Seok Simyeong as a closeted gay man hopelessly, and sometimes cruelly, pining after Yoojin who, against his will, has to admit the guy is kind of hot sometimes but will never like him as a person, it adds something to their scenes.
Let me demonstrate:

You know what's so bitter about Yoohyun leaving Yoojin in order to protect him? The fact that he never really understood the social implications of it.
We know that Han Yoohyun doesn't care for social cues, laws and regulations, all mannerisms and behaviour towards people are done simply to please his brother. And so- he doesn't realise that by denouncing Yoojin, as a highly praised and popular S-class, he has condemned him in society. Yoohyun leaves as soon as he can, publicly announces that he's a burden, and the media is having a field day where Yoojin is made a villain.
Unfortunately, it's only made worse by Yoojin's lost desperation to find out why his brother, his child, who he has raised all his life has left him behind. Has spit in his face and is so cold, and that maybe Yoojin has failed him all this time. His desperation in trying to get to talk to Yoohyun at least once, to give him a birthday cake, to awaken so that maybe he can reach him. It only ends up adding to this manic, ungrateful and spiteful image that the world views him as.
Yoojin is condemned by society. Yoohyun gets mad that he's a hunter but Yoojin has no other option. He can't get a regular job because his reputation has been dragged through the mud and because the constant public attention is too burdensome for any employers. Seok Simyeong has constantly berated Yoojin, fucking up his mental state and as the 'spokesperson' of Yoohyun, Yoojin must think its true.
Yoohyun tries to protect him from hunters through this instinctual thought of predators and prey, but society is far too nuanced and he doesn't understand. By trying to leave him out of the dungeons, he left him to the world.
Oh Han Yoohyun, you've doomed him.

Q. Have you thought about the voice pitch of the characters? Do you have an actual voice actor in mind for Seok Simyeong-ssi?
The normal voice pitches in order, with highest ones first and getting lower as one goes down the list, are -
Han Gyeol and Han Byeol
Park Yerim and Kang Soyoung
Peace when he's next to Han Yoojin
Han Yoojin and Riette
Han Yoohyun when he's next to Han Yoojin
Noah
Moon Hyunah
Han Seol
Yoo Myungwoo
Seong Hyunje
Song Taewon
Han Yoohyun
Peace
I don't know voice actors well, so I have never thought about it. Seok Simyeong has a similar tone to Seong Hyunje.
Note: The original korean is "목소리 톤" (moksori ton) which is a direct loan word from the English "tone" and getting translated as "voice tone". However the meaning is more similar to what we would call "voice pitch" in this context, in my opinion.
Q. Speaking of Seok Simyeong-ssi's voice, what kind of impression does it give? How good is it?
Fundamentally, his voice is a strong yet gentle adult male voice that inspires trust. In addition to this, with the added skill effect, it becomes even more persuasive, and also gives an impression a bit like that of a competent counsellor. However, the skill effect does not apply to high-grade hunters.^^
Note: I guess Seok Simyeong's voice got called out specifically due to Yoojin mentioning it as a very good voice.

tbh hyj is an awful fucking dad and here's my 13 reasons why (under the cut)
Tumblr media
(there's actually a lot i don't recommend reading allat)
anyway like I'd say he's probably? a good brother because I'm not complaining about him rasing hyh. i think he was actually pretty good considering their circumstances. before dungeons there seemed to be a good work/life balance, it's not like he'd work 24/7 and never see hyh and they probably spent a lot of time together and emotionally they were really close, as for their financial situation i don't think hyh cared about it much, if he could spend time with hyj he was happy and content and hyj gave him that time, attention and love because hyh needed that and hyj knew that
sure hyh was suppressing himself at that time but he seemed just fine with even that, there was also the point about hyj fitting his brother into his own mold but that was just teaching hyh what he himself knew and how to live with the best intentions in mind, because he wanted his brother to live good and well and once again hyh was all for it. (and also neither of them really knew hyh's nature at that time) so yeah. he's a great older brother/guardian
on the pre regression timeline, really neither of them were at fault for what happened (my honest opinion the one to crucify and end is pre regression seok simyeong he's like my №2 hated guy in the whole novel cus he was the reason those dumb kids kept being stubborn and were hurting because he had all the time and age and brains to find the best way to keep hyj safe (THE ONLY GOAL HYH HAD. AND HE KNEW ABOUT THAT. I FUCKING HATE HIS GUTS.) anyway №1 is pre regression hyh because I'm biased and he's stupid (it's not his fault but still) and he had FIVE years to find a better way to keep his brother safe (at least on earth) but he DIDN'T. his ass did NOT consider hyj's mental wellbeing or the harassment or the violence he had to go through because of him or the self loathing and hate and despair and anyway i dislike him. it's also diarma and co's fault but he died pretty quickly and honestly i couldn't give much fucks about him)
let's get back on track, what hyj sucks at is being a dad. and the one I'm most sorry for is my poor boy gyeol, he's a kid through and through but he's already trying to grow up too fast because of his shitass dad (and when hyj wanted his kids to not grow up as fast as he did and stay kids when they're kids with a good childhood. which is the opposite of what happened with his first). and he's also very reliant on him. and he's already doing his best trying to suppress his emotions and wants and be quiet when he wants something because he tries to be a "good kid". and that's so fucking sad. and I can't even begin to imagine how it must feel when your dad can disappear literally any moment and you can't even do anything and like when he doesn't disappear he's away WORKING. he's way too busy to make time for you and like he tries sure but it's still not enough cus kids at that age want constant attention and love and hyj just can't give that to his kids no matter how much he tries or how good his intentions are for them
not like I don't feel sorry for the other kids but seol isn't all that attached to his dad or anything so he probably doesn't gaf if he dies or disappears and all he needs is his and byeol's basic needs met (in fact he knew hyj would be a shitty dad even when he was just born, so he wanted to leave right away with byeol and honestly i don't blame him for it)
and byeol also doesn't seem too attached to her dad either and she's just living her best life enjoying it, she has her brothers and her family and people who feed and play with her so she's not that bothered if her dad is away, because his role is being filled by other people in that time
while yoobin is still way too young to even grasp anything BUT HYJ IS ALREADY FAILING HIM (and yes him cus hyj said something about not being able to not see hyh in binnie so he'll probably be a boy for now). 70% of the time while he was trying to get back home he left his infant with other people and only got back home to feed him and sleep (if he even GOT HOME because this man is, and i quote, 'a kidnapping expert' and likes getting tied up beaten up taken away from home and maybe even getting sold) and well idrk how infants work but not having his dad must be pretty bad for binnie and yj himself mentioned that his kid might be getting separation anxiety (still proceeded to get kidnapped and leave him alone for hours) ((AND THEN HE SAYS BINNIE 'NEEDS TO GET USED TO IT QUICKLY'. WHAT THE FUCK. this man is so ass at being a dad I'm actually crying 😭😭))
in fact the one good thing about hyj is that he has money so he can provide the necessities for his kids, he tries to get them the best and even open a kindergarten and school for them and he literally saved the world and made it a better place for his kids and other kids and literally all of humanity.
BUT.
he's so so busy with all his work he has basically no time to spare for the kids. what the kids (mainly gyeol and yoobin I'd say) need at this exact time is his attention, and when he's done with all his work it might just be too late and they'll already distance themselves and lose the need for said attention (because they barely get it)
in conclusion, i think he's doing his best but he's doing it in the wrong (?) direction. not that changing the world so it's a better place is wrong but like. he's so emotionally unavailable to his kids and that's my main point. and they also have to worry their asses off about his wellbeing, him getting kidnapped, him fucking dying, him not eating or exercising, him probably dying earlier than all of them and i can go on and on (this is mainly his grown kids tho, byr, hyh, peace, and for some fucking reason his toddler gyeol)
and no i don't have an always working parent who I'm emotionally distant from what are you talking about

Moments That I Want Tattooed On My Forehead From S-Classes That I Raised Chapters 50-70
As always, BEWARE OF SPOILERS!!! Future chapters may be referenced!!!
The insane amount of lore dropped in these chapters wow
Chapters 50-60
help its genuinely still so funny to see yoojin in the early chapters going: “all i have to do is complete this one (1) task and then i can live like a slacker” before he gives up (cries in cale henituse)
everyone referring to yoojin as “monster daddy” and asking him to raise their children is amazing. no notes
ARRIVAL OF THE KING SUNG HYUNJAE!!! He's a bastard he's amazing he's always on my mind
"...no matter how amazing Sung Hyunjae might be, he wouldn't be able to notice it easily. He wouldn't press his nose against my body and smell me, like my idiot brother had, would he" um. ok??? yoojin's completely normal though process
sung hyunjae essentially telling yoojin “aren’t you tired of being nice? don’t you want to go apeshit” within 5 minutes of their first real conversation
i forgot shj gives him a pair of earrings!! (and a bone for Peace)
yoojin’s disguise to get to the f rank dungeon being a fucking sun protection hat…it’s giving marvel baseball cap and sunglasses…and he has this because he used to stage one man protests??? sir what were you protesting against
oh that’s right the dungeons will appear at a faster rate because “time was only reversed for yoojin” oops
Chirpie makes its debut!!
yoojin trying to hide where he got chirpie from “i found it in the hallway”. king if yoohyun wasn’t suspicious of you already that would do it
yoohyun yeeting Peace and mama yoojin scolding him
chef myungwoo :))
bleh bug dungeon. i’m with you yoojin that was disgusting
yoojin not wanting to use Last Repayment :((
Riette makes an entrance! do you think riette demonstrated girl power when she abused her brother until he became an s rank
yoojin thinking about how he had raised yoohyun and was so happy about sending him to college…saving money for his tuition…and just losing interest in riette :((
yoojin saves bak hayool!!
this is where we see peak yoojin mafia behavior. unhinged. but justified revenge?? this is why i don’t understand fan interpretations where he’s like a wallflower like this man has murdered multiple people quite violently
chapter 60 is just so much. like. i cant even describe. yoojin you need so much therapy
the way he sees people’s last memories before they die ugh…
yoojin playing 3D chess while everyone else is playing checkers fr
him calling his friend who doesn’t remember him bc of the regression and telling them to live a happy life always gets me ufffff i wish we got to meet this character
Chapters 60-70
Yoojin and the Awakening center — a tragedy in the making. Pre-regression trauma galore
The Association rears its ugly head!!! Yoojin has an authority figure problem (but it’s completely justified)
love how chill Yoojin is about Chirpie. random F rank monster that’s cute as hell that’s eating Peace's weight in magic stones and was born from an error in the system??? ehh no big deal it’s my pet now and i’ll kill for it
love the absolutely random detail about seok hayan’s pineapple earrings. thank you geunseo you know what the people want
yoojin funding public research!! hero of the people and my heart
yerim refusing to praise yoohyun and myeongwoo to their faces hahahaha. all of them petty as hell
MYUNGWOO GETS HIS SS RANK SKILL BABYYYY
yoojin still trying to protect myungwoo i love them
yoojin: *is keeping secrets from yoohyun and putting himself in danger*
also yoojin: why is yoohyun being cold with me
everyone’s giving yoojin flowers today lmfao
sung hyunjae you’re everything to me. you’re so bizzare. the bouquet??? showing up in a 2-seater car?? bullying seok simyeong??
Shj reminding Yoojin to wear his seatbelt because he's an F rank HDJEKXIDKD
oh yoojin. “who’d want to place themselves through hardships on purpose” like SIR are u that un self aware
yerim listening to this bullshit, eyes falling out of her head: i’m literally going to crazy murder you with yoohyun
the dungeon ppl have the actual worst timing. yoohyun is going to McFreaking lose it
yoojin and yoohyun finally work things out we love to see it :))
chapter 65 starts the explanation of the 50 s ranks requirement!!! water droplet is going through it
so much is just casually dropped in this chapter like. yoohyun is a born s rank! the dungeon ppl are manually inputting things for yoojin! the world might end! anyways!
yoojin having such strong mom energy that the dungeon people forgot he was a dude
one of the moments ever when yoohyun and Peace burn down the dungeon in worry and yoojin’s just there like. ah. shit. my bad i fucked up there a little
grown up Peace my beloved
chapter 67 yoohyun my beloved. you are so crazy. “hold still while i chop off your arm and fake your dear so i can keep you safe”
the han brothers finally having a real conversation. yoojin i love you but you really needed to do this sooner
PEACE STAYING SMALL JUST SO YOOJIN CAN PICK HIM UP UWAHHHH MY HEART
Newcomer joins the battle
Chirpie turnin on the TV by itself and yoojin praising it like every proud parent ever
more monsters!!!
unicorns (white + black bc yoojin is terrible at naming) + gryphon (named Blue)
yoojin’s training method of using himself as a human chew toy is traumatizing for everyone around him.
same hyuna i would also be taking 10939392 photos
Peace and Blue WWE match. flex on em Peace
nobody:
yoojin: wow myeongwoo is hot now
BLUE LEARNING HOW TO OPEN THE FRIDGE
i love the monster shenanigans

Summery:
Han Yoojin never expected to be offered the role of a lifetime when all he did was work at the convenience store while doing some acting on the side. Though it couldn't be more suspicious that famous superstar Sung Hyunjae seems to be the one who recommended him. Nevertheless, he wants to say yes. He just can't figure out the consequences. or "What on Earth possibly convinced you to risk your career by using your power to try your luck on this nobody?" Hyunjae had been stuck in repetitive days he couldn't escape. Same role archetypes, same script, same job. In the past, there was a short period of time where acting had been fun. Where there was a challenge to see whether he could convey the emotions of characters nothing like himself. However, with no rivals, the spark had died. Hyunjae knew he needed change. It was time to rock the boat. "Because with time, I believe Han Yoojin can be the greatest of us all.”

How would you define how Yoohyun feels about Yerim? Since obviously his opinion of her has improved since they first met, but I don't know if he actually likes her
HMMM i don't know that Yoohyun is actually like physically capable of liking anyone besides Yoojin! i'm kidding but also only slightly. like if you remember what Irin says in chapter 287, it goes "AN INSANE PROPORTION OF YOOHYUN'S THOUGHTS ARE ABOUT YOU [YOOJIN] COMPARED TO THOUGHTS ABOUT ANYONE ELSE I PROMISE", so if you're including his feelings towards Yoojin as a comparison point, it's going to skew the chart to unreasonable levels, and it'd look like the answer is No, Yoohyun doesn't care about Yerim at all
HOWEVER. if you EXCLUDE Yoojin from the chart then Yerim actually ends up being one of the two people Yoohyun likes most! with the other being Peace. from 287, in Irin's words, 80% of Yoohyun's thoughts that aren't about Yoojin are instead about Yerim and Peace. of course, that's exclusively based on the fact that Yerim and Peace both also like Yoojin the most. Yoohyun cares about other people in proportion to how much they care about his hyung, single-minded little idiot that he is /affectionate.
BUT THAT ASIDE! i think he does care about Yerim in a couple different respects. one is that he trusts her in a way that's different from people like Seok Simyeong or Kim Sunghan—you'll notice that in chapter 239, he explicitly designates her (and Peace) as the first two people he actually recognizes as part of "his world", which is a position not even his closest guild members have enjoyed, despite him clearly trusting them to do their jobs well and look after Yoohyun himself to some degree. he trusts her to look after Yoojin, which is probably the deepest level of belief he can hold in someone other than his hyung. and for the same reason—that she cares above all for Yoojin and his happiness and his safety, and can back up that care with the ability to protect him—i do think he likes her!
Yoohyun also cares about Yerim's wellbeing (again, in relation to Yoojin! in that he knows Yoojin will be sad if Yerim isn't okay. this is something a lot of people who care about Yoojin are aware of and account for: that they can take care of him indirectly by looking after the other people he loves. you see it with Sung Hyunjae lending Yerim his flame-resistant coat in chapter 126, and Yoo Myeongwoo making sure Yoohyun has the best equipment in chapter 240, both for Yoojin's sake). she's not only important to Yoojin himself, from which Yoohyun derives some level of actual care, but also one of Yoohyun's guild members and technically part of his family, which adds a sense of duty and responsibility for her into the mix. remember when he blew Gakuto through a pillar because he called Yerim a bitch in chapter 215 with the whole That's My Guild Member You Motherfucker attitude... i thought that was pretty funny of him. and like. when Yoojin was straight up dead for a while there in 240, the only thing stopping Yoohyun from following him into death on the spot was the thought that he had to make sure Yerim (and Peace and the others) knew. so that they could actually grieve him instead of just never knowing what had happened to him. he cares about them!!! he does!!! it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack compared to his love for Yoojin but he does!!!!!
of course i do also think that Yoohyun finds her incredibly annoying. they're constantly squabbling, this isn't a far-fetched guess, they fight to the point that chopsticks somehow end up embedded in the dining room wall and yoojin has to scold them to quit it in chapter 171. yerim's constantly on the verge of calling him ugly. that one time early on in chapter 48 when she was like WHY ARE YOU SO MEAN TO ME and he trotted out a whole bullet point numbered list without missing a beat. i bet he still has a list now, just with different reasons on it. but like. that's just normal siblings innit. you care about each other a whole fucking lot but you would also sell them to satan for one corn chip or however that goes.
TL;DR: yoohyun likes her but he'd probably die before he said that in as many words. not out of unwillingness or anything, just because it wouldn't occur to him to. yerim knows without him needing to say it, after all.
(where's my evidence for that, you ask. well! spoiler excerpt from chapter 331 from Yerim's POV about how Yoohyun has acknowledged and accepted her below the cut)
However, she couldn’t help the presence of anxiety in her relationship with Han Yoojin. It was love that all but dropped out of the sky one day. The claim that it was because she was an S-rank Awakened person wasn’t enough. What was more, Han Yoojin was crowded with exceptional people at his side. Han Yoojin clearly cared for Bak Yerim, but it was difficult for Bak Yerim to think she was special to him. Couldn’t it be that what she’d suddenly gained might suddenly disappear? The one who quelled that anxiety she tried to ignore was none other than Han Yoohyun. Han Yoohyun had hated Bak Yerim. Because his hyung liked her. Han Yoohyun had accepted Bak Yerim. Because she liked his hyung. Han Yoohyun had acknowledged Bak Yerim. Because she had the ability to protect his hyung. It was a relationship entirely based on Han Yoojin, but if anything, Bak Yerim was relieved and happy because of that. This was Han Yoohyun, who Han Yoojin was everything to, who was beyond difficult when it came to things relating to him. That harsh guy had accepted Bak Yerim standing by his hyung’s side.
points at them. Yerim feels accepted and cared for by Yoohyun

Seok Simyeong : guild leader (yoohyun) wouldn't rest until yoojin has been left with Jupiter guild
Is this the same yoohyun we're talking about? Overprotective "get away from my hyung" yoohyun? How the turn tables
Just started the sctir novel from where the manhwa left off and I'm immediately hit with a jinjae scene
Chap 151 : hyunjae grabbing him by the waist by both hands and lifting him up to remark that yoojin has "gotten lighter" and "needs more care"
the return of waist hugger hyunjae

hi! i saw you post about suggesting prompts, what about a pov outsider on post-regression hyj? it could be from the main cast or some staff from the association, tv staffs, etc etc! feel free to go wild!
Seo Byunghoon’s first job as a newly Awakened hunter is working as the secretary for the boss of HR at Haeyeon—and, by extension, Haeyeon as a whole. It’s not the glory that most hunters imagine, but Seo Byunghoon likes his job, and he especially likes the safety that it offers. He’s a C-Rank, which means that he could probably make a fair bit of money as the lead for lower-ranked dungeon teams, but he’s fond of having his limbs where they are and not having to regularly dive into near-death experiences.
Seok Simyeong is a fair but strict supervisor, and Byunghoon quickly learns to adopt his no-nonsense attitude, especially towards the overconfident hunters that swagger in, looking for a place at Haeyeon. At least once a week, an E- or F-Rank tries to come in and talk their way into joining, and it’s almost always Byunghoon’s job to turn them away.
Today, a tired-looking man walks in and tells him, “Hey, I want to talk to Yoohyun.” Byunghoon is appalled at his informality.
“The guild leader doesn’t take appointments,” he informs the visitor, trying to keep his annoyance off of his face. Guild Leader Han Yoohyun does, technically, but certainly not for people like the man in front of him. “Do you have any other business with Haeyeon?”
The man sighs like Byunghoon is the one inconveniencing him. “I just want to talk to him, okay? He’s my—tell him Yoojin came to see him.”
Byunghoon eyes him suspiciously. “Can I see your ID?”
There’s nothing wrong with the card that the man hands over, as far as Byunghoon can tell. Han Yoojin, 23, F-Rank hunter. “Are you related to the guild leader?” he asks, eyes catching on the last name.
“Yeah, he’s my brother.” Han Yoojin doesn’t look at him as he says this, though, and scuffs a shoe on the ground. It all leaves a bad taste in Byunghoon’s mouth.
Seok Simyeong never told him about any protocol for the guild leader’s relatives—as far as Byunghoon knew, Han Yoohyun doesn’t have any relatives. Not ones that would want to visit, at least. He’s not allowed to make appointments for the guild leader on his own anyway, so he reaches for the phone and calls Seok Simyeong.
“Hello?”
“Seok Simyeong-nim, a man named Han Yoojin is here to see the guild leader.” Byunghoom doesn’t like how Han Yoojin stiffens at the sound of Seok Simyeong’s name.
A sigh rattles down the line. “Oh, him again? Just send him away. The guild leader doesn’t want to see him.”
“Understood.”
“If he comes again, you can send him away then too.”
“Yes, sir.”
Byunghoon hangs up the phone, and even before he opens his mouth, he can tell that Han Yoojin knows what he’s about to say. “Unfortunately, I cannot arrange a meeting for you right now. If you have any other business with Haeyeon, please let me know. Otherwise, we ask that you leave the premises.”
Han Yoojin’s lips thin, expression darkening. For a long moment, Byunghoon braces himself to walk around the desk and escort Han Yoojin out of the doors. It wouldn’t be the first time it’s happened, but it will be the first time that Byunghoon has felt so much grim satisfaction from doing so.
In the end, though, Han Yoojin’s mouth twists into a bitter frown and he slinks out of the building without another word. Byunghoon waits, tense, for him to change his mind and barge in again, but he doesn’t come back.
Byunghoon’s first impression of Han Yoojin is an angry, resentful man, one that he can hardly believe is related to the guild leader. Han Yoojin is weak in all the ways that Han Yoohyun is strong, and Byunghoon can understand now why the guild leader chose to cut off ties with such a person.
Unfortunately, this is not the last time he encounters the man in the next few years, and his impression only gets worse.
-
Byunghoon stares down at the personnel file in his hands. Han Yoojin, it’s labeled. Byunghoon never thought this day would come even in his wildest dreams. He doesn’t bother asking Seok Simyeong if he’s certain, but he indulges in a healthy amount of doubt in the privacy of his own mind.
“He’s not an official employee, but Han Yoojin-ssi will be by on Tuesday to receive his tour of Haeyeon,” Seok Simyeong is saying. “You’ll be in charge of showing him around.”
“Yes, sir.”
Byunghoon is not looking forward to this at all.
When Tuesday comes around, Byunghoon spends the morning watching the clock, tapping his fingers impatiently as the hands creep closer and closer to eleven o’clock. Perhaps Han Yoojin will not show up at all, and Byunghoon won’t have to go through this awful duty.
Right on time, though, the front doors slide open and Byunghoon raises his head to meet the hard gaze of Haeyeon’s guild leader. “Guild Leader!” He scrambles to his feet to bow properly. “I wasn’t expecting you today.”
“I have a dungeon later today, so I won’t be here for long.” Han Yoohyun turns to the person next to him, which is when Byunghoon realizes that Han Yoojin came in with him. “Hyung,” he says, and Byunghoon is shocked by how his entire stance softens. Is this really the person who refused to let Han Yoojin past the front step for three years? “I have to go. Stay here. Don’t go anywhere.”
Han Yoojin rolls his eyes. “Yah, Yoohyun-ah, I can take care of myself.”
“Still, hyung should be careful.”
Byunghoon watches in stunned confusion as Han Yoojin waves off the guild leader like a mother scolding her son to go do his homework. “Ah, Seo Byunghoon-ssi, isn’t it?” he says, turning back to Byunghoon and sketching a belated bow. “I’ll be in your hands.”
There’s something… lighter about the man now, he thinks. Han Yoojin no longer carries himself like there’s an immeasurable burden upon his back. The anger and sadness has made way for something brighter, and when combined with the gentle way the guild leader was treating his brother, Byunghoon is persuaded to hesitantly set aside his previous conception of Han Yoojin. The person in front of him is almost someone else entirely.
“Yes,” he says slowly, still rewriting his three-years-old idea of Han Yoojin. “Follow me. We can start with the training facilities.”
This is a good thing, he thinks as he leads Han Yoojin along a familiar path through the Haeyeon buildings. This new Han Yoojin has the approval of both Seok Simyeong and the guild leader, and the man himself seems much happier for it. Byunghoon’s not sure what brought this change on, but it seems like only good things have come of it so far.
Maybe this is a new era of Haeyeon, he muses, before chuckling to himself quietly. What a fanciful thought.

My special winter wish is for everyone to go read try, try (just one more time) by anon, it's a timeloop au where Yoojin gets stuck trying to save Yoohyun and very slowly collects extra time while he/Yoohyun die over and over again. It's very good.
It features such highlights as
Yoojin confused the timeloop doesn't end when he dies even though it means Yoohyun should be fine
reluctant roomates Yoojin + Seok Simyeong and/or Kim Sunghan
Peace heist
unbearable amounts of angst
Song Taewon gets a smoothie thrown at him
And if you happen to be a creature of good taste and have read it already. Reread.

(via swiftactionrecovery) YEAH. I am enjoying the webtoon but every time it updates im like "where's my fucked up little man where's my bundle of self-loathing and self-deception where's the anxious mess of a caregiver yoojin" webtoon yoojin is fine and good but novel yoojin's such a disaster. imagine if we got whole comic chapters of just him stewing in his own thoughts imagining worst-case scenarios and lying to himself about his own motivations. imagine it. it'd be glorious.
YEAH EXACTLY.... whole chapters of him just looking like devastated.png hes not even actually devastated hes just thinking too hard. having a mental breakdown over something completely innocuous. i want yoojin who freaked out so bad when seok simyeong called that he was like Im going to cut the call on him no i wont ill die. yes i will. no i wont. yes <3
