Zack, pointing: The training report, Kitten. Right there.

*Sephiroth, visibly buffering, slides over the report*

Zack: Thanks, Kitten.

Sephiroth: Don't call me that.

Zack: Why not?

Sephiroth: Because it's not a recognized designation, it lacks workplace professionalism, and it carries implications I don't care to entertain. If you persist, I will have no choice but to report you to Angeal.

*Angeal walks in sipping coffee*

Angeal: Morning, Kitten.

Sephiroth, eye twitching: Why are you all calling me Kitten?

Sephiroth: My left eye is irritated. It's been bothering me since this morning.

Angeal: I have eye drops.

Angeal: I have the steadiest hands in SOLDIER. I can drop them in without missing.

Sephiroth: Alright.

*Tseng and Lazard walk in having a conversation*

Angeal being an obsessive caretaker to Sephiroth for 4 chapters

He heard so much about Sephiroth's heroic exploits that he joined SOLDIER out of admiration for him... And became his babysitter. His persistence is really cute and funny, it's interesting to see how their relationship evolved through the games !

Even young, Angeal is acting with a lot of maturity. Despite the difficulties with becoming friend with Sephiroth and their conflicting personalities he's always nice and trying to be polite and patient, he wants to support him ! It's nice to see how he really cares and is honest, he directly asks questions to Sephiroth, not to put salt in his wounds but to genuinely help him move forward.

Of course Angeal is not the perfect spiritual guide/angel/therapist fallen from the skies right for Sephi, he's another young man and with a lot to say. I wouldn't call that mockery at all but he's trying to find a way to make him react with remarks such as "you aren't scared, are you?" (But from him it's also concern !) just like Sephiroth did, they're lightly taunting each other. He's also really insistant with his curiosity (at least not as much as that Bachman guy), as he said himself he's sticking his nose in other people's business. Oh, and Angeal tried to punch some common sense in Sephiroth...But in his defense what are you supposed to do with a guy almost possessed like that running around in an unknown, mysterious and dangerous place while being accompanied by a civilian and a wounded comrade ?

But really, he's so sweet and already acting like an older brother
