INT. SPRINGFIELD RETIREMENT CASTLE - GRANDPA'S ROOM - DAY

GRAMPA ABE SIMPSON sits in his rocking chair, dozing off. Suddenly, he spots a roach scurrying across the floor.

GRAMPA ABE SIMPSON (startled) What?! A bombay canary!

Abe leans forward, addressing the insect.

GRAMPA ABE SIMPSON Now listen here, you six-legged menace. Back in my day, we didn't have fancy bug sprays. We had to tell long, rambling stories to bore the pests to death. Oh sure, you could just squash 'em, but where's the sport in that?

As Abe speaks, he slowly reaches for his shoe.

GRAMPA ABE SIMPSON (quickly) And that's why I always keep a gun in my shoe!

Abruptly the shoe slips out of Abe's hands, flying at the roach.

GRAMPA ABE SIMPSON (smugly) Ha! Thought you'd get out of the story that easy, did ya? Not the most sporting method but-

It misses, hitting the wall.

GRAMPA ABE SIMPSON D'oh!

Then, a handgun falls out of the shoe, discharging upon impact.

The bullet ricochets and strikes Abe in the foot.

GRAMPA ABE SIMPSON (yelping) D'OH! Consarn it!

 INT, SPRINGFIELD ELEMENTRAY SCHOOL AUDITURIUM-DAY

 Principal Skinner is telling the kids about the school store.

 SKINNER

 And from next week we will be opening a store here in the school and one lucky student will be chosen to work in the store we’ll let you know on Monday!

 MAGGIE

 Wow a school store I hope I’m the one who gets to work in it!

 GERALD

 You why would anyone choose you, you don’t even know how to tie your shoes!

 MAGGIE

 Don’t need to when you wear Mary Jane Sandals!

 The camera pans to Maggie’s feet to show her shoes

 PAN BACK TO MAGGIE AND GERALD

 GERALD

 Yeah, yeah whatever!

 He walks away from Maggie then her three friends walk over to her.

 JUDITH

 I believe you’ll get the job!

 LILLY

 Yeah, your trusted in this school!

 MICHELLE

 You’re the dude that is perfect for the job!

 MAGGIE

 Thanks guys now I really hope I get the job!

 INT, THE SIMPSONS DINING ROOM-EVENING

 Maggie is telling her family about the school store.

 MAGGIE

 We are having a store at the school and one lucky student will be chosen to work in it oh I hope it’s me!

 LISA

 I think it will be you Maggie because you are smarter than I am!

 BART

 (teasing) At last she admits it!

 HOMER

 Whatever happens Maggie, I will always love you!

 MAGGIE

 INT, SPRINGFIELD ELEMMENTRAY SCHOOL CORIDOR-DAY

 The kids are getting their things out of the lockers for class when Principal Skinner makes an announcement over the PA system.

 SKINNER OVER PA

 Students this is Principal Skinner today I am going to announce the lucky student who gets to work in the school store and that student is-

All the kids lean forward in antioption

 SKINNER OVER PA

 Maggie Simpson!

 All her friends cheer for her.

 GERALD

 Can’t believe she got chosen there is no god!

 SKINNER OVER PA

 Can Maggie Simpson please report to the principal’s office for duty details!

 She makes her way to the office.

 IN PRINCIPAL SKINNER’S OFFICE

 Principal Skinner is sitting at his desk when there is a knock on the door.

 SKINNER

 Yes, come on in!

 The door opens and Maggie enters the room she walks towards Principal Skinner and faces him

 MAGGIE

 You wanted to see me Principal Skinner!

 SKINNER

 Ah yes come on in Maggie close the door and take a seat!

 Maggie does as she is told and takes a seat at the desk facing Principal Skinner.

 SKINNER

 Can I offer you a drink at all!

 MAGGIE

 Water please!

 He gives her a glass of water and Maggie takes a drink of it.

 SKINNER

 Now I am going to give you your duty information for the school store your hours are 8am-3pm Monday-Friday accept School Holidays can you do that Maggie!

 MAGGIE

I can sir!

SKINNER

 One more thing no giving out free items to anyone even if they are your friends!

 Maggie finishes her water.

 MAGGIE

 I won’t let you down sir!

 SKINNER

 Good now let me show you where the store is!

 MAGGIE

 Before we do that can I go to the bathroom!

 SKINNER

 Sure!

 FADE TO LATER OUTSIDE A CLASSROOM

 Principal Skinner and Maggie are standing outside a classroom he opens the door and he shows her the store.

 SKINNER

 As you can see, we sell candy snacks milk and soda and you will be serving behind the counter from tomorrow!

 MAGGIE

 Looking forward to it Principal Skinner!

 SKINNER

 Oh, nearly forgot the key to the room!

 He gives her a key and Maggie takes it and puts it in her pocket.

 INT, THE SIMPSONS DINING ROOM-EVENING

 The simpsons are having dinner at the table and Maggie is telling them about the school store.

 MAGGIE

 And I will be running the school store at school from tomorrow oh I can’t wait!

 LISA

 Interested in retail are you Maggie well I work part time at a flower shoppe come with me on Saturday and I will learn you more!

 MAGGIE

 BART

 School store why the hell do they need that must be skinners idea!

 MAGGIE

 No idea Bart but I got chosen personally by Principal Skinner and I am looking forward to running the store!

 INT, SPRINGFIELD ELEMENTRAY SCHOOL-SCHOOL STORE-DAY

 Maggie is standing behind the counter waiting for her first Costumer then Gerald walks in and walks up to her at the counter.

 GERALD

 Simpson can you give me something on layaway!

 MAGGIE

 Sorry Gerald you have to pay for your items I don’t do Layaway!

 GERALD

 (angry) You haven’t heard the last of this Simpson!

 He leaves the room

 EXT, SPRINGFIELD ELEMENTRAY SCHOOL-PLAYGROUND-DAY

 Maggie is taking a break from the store so she can have some fresh air and a snack she is sitting on the bench having some potato chips and a can of buzz cola then Gerald walks up to her.

 GERALD

 Remember when I said you haven’t heard the last of this, I meant every word Simpson so I’m going to sort you out now.

 He grabs her off the bench and picks her up with her t-shirt

 GERALD

 I’m going to enjoy this!

 He slams her on the floor then he kicks her then he picks her up and puts her in the garbage can then he walks away Maggie gets out of the garbage can covered head to toe in garbage.

 MAGGIE

 At least I am not hurt but I smell bad but I have to go back to the store!

 BACK IN THE SCHOOL STORE

 Maggie is standing behind the counter smelling very bad Judith and Lilly enter room and smell a bad smell.

 LILLY

 Eww I’ve smelled some bad things when I lived on a farm but nothing like this!

 JUDITH

 Gross!

 They buy what they came for and exit the room then Principal Skinner enters the room and gets a whiff of Maggie.

 SKINNER

 Maggie I’ll take over while you go and take a shower!

 MAGGIE

 Okay Sir!

 Maggie exits the room.

 FADE TO THE GIRL’S CHANGING ROOM LATER

 Maggie has had her shower and is wearing a white towel

 MAGGIE

That’s better but my clothes still smell like garbage don’t know what I’m going to do!

 She picks up her clothes and exits the room still wearing a towel

Pan back to the school store

 Principal Skinner is standing behind the counter when Maggie enters the room holding her clothes in her hand.

 MAGGIE

 Principal Skinner slight problem my clothes smell of garbage and I don’t have anything else to wear!

SKINNER

 Well lets see what’s in the lost and found!

 MAGGIE

 Who’s going to watch the store!

 SKINNER

 We’ll close the store for a bit till I get you sorted with some clothes!

 IN THE LOST AND FOUND

 Principal Skinner has found Maggie some clothes she can wear he has put her own clothes in a carrier bag Maggie goes back to the changing room to change then she comes back wearing the clothes he gave her.

 SKINNER

 Looking very nice Maggie!

 MAGGIE

 Thank you, Principal Skinner!

 SKINNER

 Now you can go back to the store!

 MAGGIE

 Okay!

 BACK AT THE SCHOOL STORE

 Maggie has arrived back and she has noticed the door is open.

 MAGGIE

 That’s odd I thought Principal Skinner locked the door!

 She pushes the door open and is shocked at what she finds.

 MAGGIE

 (SHOCKED) What in the name of hell!

 She sees all the shelves on the floor candy on the floor and every item has gone.

 MAGGIE

 (upset) I am going to be in so much trouble Principal Skinner will be so mad!

 Then Principal Skinner enters the room and sees the mess and destruction and immediately blames Maggie

 SKINNER

 (ANGRY) Simpson what happened here!

 MAGGIE

         How the hell should I know when I got here, I found the store like this!

SKINNER

 You know what this means I am removing you from duty please hand in your key!

 MAGGIE

 (UPSET) But!

 She gives Principal Skinner her key.

 Maggie walks away feeling very upset then she stops and has an autistic meltdown.

MAGGIE

(HAVING A MELTDOWN) You blame me Skinner you’re a rotten old bastard that’s what you are a rotten old bastard!

IN DETENTION

 Maggie is sitting at a desk on a Chair with a piece of paper in front of her Groundskeeper Willie is teaching detention.

MAGGIE

 Stupid Skinner putting me in detention!

 WILLIE

 Maggie we are friends and Willie is teaching detention but Willie doesn’t know why you are here so you can go!

 MAGGIE

 Thanks Willie!

 WILLIE

Nay you just promise Willie you’ll be good from now on!

 MAGGIE

 Okay I’ll try my best!

 Maggie leaves the room.

 Maggie is walking down the corridor when she decides to investigate the school store incident and find the real person that did it.

 MAGGIE

 I have seen lots of episodes of CSI I’ll do what they do!

 She walks towards the door and she finds a blue book that looks like a dairy of some sort it says on it Gerald Samson’s bully plans.

MAGGIE

Hmm this looks like interesting reading!

 She reads what is written in the book.

 MAGGIE

 So, it was Gerald that did this I’m telling principal Skinner but will he even talk to me after the meltdown I had in front of him on the other hand what do I have to lose!

 IN PRINCIPAL SKINNER’S OFFICE

 Maggie is standing facing him at his desk Principal Skinner is reading the book Maggie found.

 SKINNER

 So, Maggie you found Gerald’s bully book thank you for bringing this to my attention I did notice you are out of detention but we’ll let it slide!

MAGGIE

 As you can see, I was not to blame for the school store incident was I!

SKINNER

 No Maggie I was wrong to make false judgement please forgive an old fool!

 MAGGIE

 Okay I forgive you and I’m sorry I went off on one but I was very upset at the time!

 SKINNER

 I guess we both we’re wrong!

 MAGGIE

 Yeah, I guess we were!

 SKINNER

 Do you still want to run the school store!

 MAGGIE

 Sorry but I use to love it but because of recent incidents it has put me right off it!

 Maggie exits the room.

 INT. MAGGIE’S BEDROOM-NIGHT

 Maggie is sitting on her bed wearing her pink Pajamas then Lisa enters the room and sits at the side of her.

 LISA

 Are you still running the school store!

 MAGGIE

 No Lisa since I got blamed for an incident, I had nothing to do with I have decided not to run a store anymore!

 LISA

 Okay do you want me to tuck you in!

 MAGGIE

 Yes, please Lisa!

 Maggie gets into her bed and Lisa tucks her in and turns on her nightlight.

 LISA

 There you go now no monsters will get you!

 MAGGIE

 Goodnight Lisa!

 Maggie goes to sleep and Lisa exits the room and closes the door very quietly so she doesn’t wake Maggie.

The Simpsons are having breakfast at the table

MAGGIE

Mom I was wondering if it would be ok if I had a sleepover because Emma has invited me to her house at the weekend to stay over!

MARGE

I don’t see why not!

HOMER

(ANGRY) I see why not because I don’t want my daughter in with the rich Kensington’s that’s why!

MAGGIE

Mr Kensington isn’t like that he takes me as I am and accepts me for who I am so does Emma!

HOMER

Well your still not going!

MARGE

I said she could because there is no harm in it!

Homer knowing he can’t do anything about starts grumbling about it.

INT, SPRINGFIELD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL-DAY

Maggie is putting her things in her locker when Emma comes up to her.

EMMA

So  are you looking forward to my sleepover on Saturday!

MAGGIE

EMMA

Then Gerald walks up to them

EMMA

GERALD

(SARCASTIC) Wouldn’t want to go anyway!

GERALD

Simpson got a task for you!

MAGGIE

I want you to egg Skinners car!

MAGGIE

That task has been done so many times by many people who attended this school over the years  but I might have an even better task I’ll tell you what it is tomorrow!

GERALD

Alright Simpson but you’d better have one tomorrow or you’re dead!

Gerald walks away from her Maggie worried about what she has just said to Gerald as she knows nothing about pranks.

MAGGIE

What did I just do I know nothing about pranks!

Maggie worried runs into the girls bathroom and looks at herself in the mirror.

MAGGIE

What am I going to do what am I going to do!

Maggie screams

Then Judith enters the room

JUDITH

Couldn’t help overhearing  your problem you don’t know what to do about what!

MAGGIE

I promised Gerald I’d come up with a prank tomorrow and I don’t know anything about pranks!

JUDITH

You know what Maggie neither do I!

Judith goes to the sink and washes her hands

JUDITH

Come on Maggie we have to get to class!

MAGGIE

Maggie is in her room laying on her bed trying to think of a prank.

MAGGIE

Damn it I can’t think of a damn prank I’m going to have to take my medicine like a man and I don’t like medicine I don’t even like cough medicine!

Then Bart enters the room

BART

Mags so you want to do a prank at school huh I’ll teach you a prank!

Maggie sits up and sits on the edge of her bed then Bart sits at the side of her.

BART

OK  a prank that nobody has ever done is fill the swimming pool with worms!

MAGGIE

Gummi Worms you got it!

BART

Gummi worms no real worms and I’ll get you some worms from the garden!

INT, SPRINGFIELD  ELEMENTARY SCHOOL-THE NEXT DAY

Maggie is at the swimming pool door holding a bucket full of worms she makes sure the coast is clear then she goes in the pool room and fills the pool with worms as Maggie does this she sings a song.

MAGGIE

This is the way we fill the pool fill the pool fill the pool this is the way we fill the pool when you want to do a prank!

FADE TO LATER IN THE POOL ROOM

Maggie and her classmates wearing bathing suits and for some reason Lilly is wearing socks

MAGGIE

Socks when you go swimming come on Lilly!

LILLY

Got a foot problem I don’t want people to see!

MICHELLE

Even I think that is weird!

EMMA

Each to there own I say!

Then the teacher Mrs Lyons comes to the pool and opens the door but the kids see worms in there

LILLY

What in the name of sam is that!

EMMA

Looks like worms to me!

Maggie stands there smiling she is pleased with her prank.

LYONS

Class due to some prankster swimming is cancelled for this week!

MAGGIE

(PRETENDING) Oh well guess we’ll have to do something else!

LILLY

My hat goes off to the prankster who has saved me from embarrassment!

They all look at Lilly

I mean no swimming what a shame!

LYONS

You get dressed and I’ll inform principal Skinner!

MAGGIE

(NERVUSLEY) Mrs Lyons you don’t need to do that I mean I’m sure the prankster will make themselves known eventually!

LYONS

As your swimming teacher I have to Maggie!

Mrs Lyons goes to the principals office

MAGGIE

Guys it was me I put the worms in the pool!

GERALD

You did well done Simpson best prank ever!

MAGGIE

Lets hope Principal Skinner sees it that way!

However unknown to Maggie Principal Skinner has heard everything he walks  up behind her and confronts her

SKINNER

So you put the worms in the pool Simpson in that case my office now!

She follows him to his office still in her bathing suit

JUDITH

Dead girl walking!

IN PRINCIPAL SKINNER’S OFFICE

Maggie is standing at his desk  still wearing her bathing suit

(ANGRY) Why did you put worms in the pool!

MAGGIE

It was a prank  and I had to do it or I’d lose respect of my classmates!

SKINNER

Guess what else you have to do!

MAGGIE

FADE TO THE POOL

Maggie is now wearing her normal clothes she is sitting in a chair when Groundskeeper Willie enters the room.

WILLIE

Alright wee one Skinner wants you to clean all these worms out of the pool! MAGGIE

Does he ok let me just-

Maggie stands up and pretends she has hurt her back.

MAGGIE

My back  it really hurts!

WILLIE

OK wee one Willie wants you to sit back down!

Maggie does as she is told.

MAGGIE

What about the pool!

WILLIE

Don’t you be worrying about that Willie will clean the worms out of the pool!

As Willie is cleaning the worms Maggie gets up from her chair and leaves

WILLIE

Say wee one your being very quiet!

Then he sees she has gone.

WILLIE

What the hell where has the wee one gone!

IN THE PLAYGROUND

Maggie is talking to her friends about ditching Willie

MAGGIE

and I ditched Willie and lumbered him with my job!

EMMA

I don’t think you should have done that Maggie!

MAGGIE

What’s he going to do!

Then Groundskeeper Willie  walks up to Maggie grabs her and pins her to the wall

WILLIE

(ANGRY) Play Willie for a fool will you!

Maggie stands there shaking like a leaf as she is so frightened as she is so frightened  she pees herself but that doesn’t bother Willie at all.

WILLIE

This is for leaving me with the worms!

He punches her and Maggie falls to the floor.

FADE TO LATER IN THE PLAYGROUND

Maggie is sitting near a tree when Willie comes up to her.

MAGGIE

Don’t you think you’ve done enough damage to me already!

WILLIE

That’s what Willie what’s to talk to you about you see Willie got very angry as us Scots always do Willie hopes that you can forgive him!

MAGGIE

I can don’t worry about it!

As Willie walks away Principal Skinner is seen behind the tree and has heard everything!

INT. MAGGIE’S BEDROOM-EVENING

Maggie is sitting on her bed with Emma  they are talking about the incident.

EMMA

What did your father say when you told him!

MAGGIE

Didn’t like the fat lummox would be interested anyway!

EMMA

Maggie you have to tell him and to make sure you do I’m staying overnight!

MAGGIE

But won’t your Dad wonder where you are!

EMMA

I called him and I told him I’m staying here with you tonight!

MAGGIE

OK Lets have a sleepover!

FADE TO LATER IN MAGGIE’S BEDROOM

Maggie and Emma are asleep then Emma gets up from her sleeping bag and walks over to Maggie in her bed.

EMMA

Maggie are you awake!

MAGGIE

I am now what is it Emma!

EMMA

I’m cold can I sleep in your bed!

MAGGIE

Ok get in!

Emma does so and Maggie and Emma go to sleep.

FADE TO THE NEXT MORNING.

Maggie and Emma are still asleep then Bart walks in and sees them both in bed together.

BART

What you two are doing is no business of mine!

Then he leaves the room this however makes Maggie laugh.

MAGGIE!

He things we’re female lovers!

EMMA

But we’re not we’re six years old!

MAGGIE

But we could be!

EMMA

That’s dirty Maggie but I like it!

They both go under the covers we see their pyjamas  fly across the room and the sheets move

in the background we hear the woo-hoo music from Sims 4

MAGGIE

Yeah that’s good stuff!

FADE TO THE SIMPSONS KITCHEN

Maggie and Emma are sitting at the table smiling at each other.

BART

How was it!

MAGGIE

BART

You know!

Bart winks at them with his right eye.

MAGGIE

Bart is there something wrong with your eye!

EMMA

If there is then you need glasses!

HOMER

Bart whatever your sister and her friend did is nothing to do with us unless its to do with sex but who cares

MAGGIE

Well me and  Emma have to get ready for school now!

INT. PRINCIPAL SKINNER’S OFFICE-DAY

Principal Skinner is telling Groundskeeper Willie about what he did to Maggie

SKINNER

Willie there is some things I can ignore and some things I can’t and this is a thing I cannot ignore I saw what you did to Maggie Simpson Willie!

WILLIE

But sir she left Willie to do the job on his own and that wasn’t part of the deal and then she leaves the room leaving Willie to do what she should have done!

SKINNER

in light of what happened with Maggie Simpson and since there has been no complaints from her parents  I guess I have no choice but to let you off the hook but be careful in future!

WILLIE

Aye sir!

Willie exits the room and sees Maggie waiting for him

WILLIE

wee one shouldn’t you be in class!

MAGGIE

Yes but I’d rather spend the day with you!

WILLIE

ok lets go and do something!

They both walk towards the school exit.

The Simpsons are sitting at the table having breakfast to Maggie its just a day like any other.

MAGGIE

Can’t wait for the school bus to take me to school!

LISA

Anything good happening!

MAGGIE

Not really I just like going there plus I like my teacher Mr Johnson he is really nice!

BART

If you like him so much why don’t you marry him!

MAGGIE

One day maybe but not now as  I am 6 and he is how old he is!

HOMER

Well I hope you do well with your teacher sweetie!

MAGGIE

LISA

Want me to walk you to school Maggie!

MAGGIE

But won’t that make you late for your school!

The best thing about my school is if I’m not there nobody notices!

My sister decided to walk me here not my choice it was hers!

IN THE KINDERGARTEN

The kids are standing around wondering where Mr Johnson is

MAGGIE

Oh great school has started and Mr Johnson isn’t even here what a crock!

Lets hope so Judith I mean we don’t want to be left unsupervised!

GERALD

Who the hell cares if he isn’t here I’m in charge!

Gerald takes a seat at the teachers desk

Meanwhile in principal Skinners office

You know I do have a class to teach and you know how Kindergarteners get if they are unsupervised!

They’ll be fine besides  you have a new student joining you!

Then an old man and a little girl enters the office.

OLD MAN

(BRITISH ACCENT) My name is Mr Kensington but you can call m Avery all my friends do!

SKINNER

Hi Mr Kensington what can we do for you!

KENSINGTON

I do believe my daughter Emma will be looked after at this school this time unlike last time!

SKINNER

not to worry Mr Kensington she will be well taken care of right Mr Johnson!

JOHNSON

Yes indeed she will, hi my name is Mr Johnson what’s your name!

GIRL

(BRITISH ACCENT)  

Emma sir!

JOHNSON

Nice to meet you shell we go to the classroom and I’ll introduce you to the others!

EMMA

Yes I would love to!

Alan and Lilly are sitting at a small round table having dinner in the kitchen but Alan sees that Lilly isn’t eating hers and decides to find out why.

Alan is in the store making a delivery of cakes for Avery he comes to Alan and signs for them then Alan remembers he needs to talk with him about Lilly and Emma
