if Ashley's for some reasons ever mentions/explains some human torture methods what would the cons thing of it ? Like are we more brutal then them ?

Well... this get dark. FBI Agent, I'm a writer I promise! This is all hypothetical! There is worse out here in the internet wilds!!!

I think for the most part, it's a game of orange-and-blue morality for a bit. There are things the Decepticons pull (Shockwave just existing) that immediately make human prosecutors start prepping the war crime cases and some things that humans do make the cons pause for a minute. At the same time, certain things the cons do, while horrible, just make humans nod because of course they would do that, and most human torture techniques just don't translate well to Cybertronian biology.

Like, the Decepticons would do things that are definitely against the Geneva Convention (and I think they would find our concept of a Geneva Convention laughable) so they would shrug off a lot of similar precedents humans have. Removing limbs, sensory depravation, experimentation, and electrocution are all familiar concepts so it is just a shrug of shoulders and a "why not?" attitude.

And then they look deeper.

In my mind, Cybertronians above all are efficient. Unless it's personal, or you are with someone who has a truly skewed brain module (Yes, Airachnid I am looking at you) the point of torture is to get information as fast as possible. Tortured to death, unless it's an accident, isn't efficient.

Humans, unfortunately, don't always care about efficiency.

They see the Human Centipede and the Terrifier, and bots are praying to primus like they've never done it before. It's entertainment, its art to mankind and it is some of the most protective vomit-worthy levels of shit they've ever seen. They see the Jigsaw franchise and Shockwave is joining discords and emailing directors to get notes.

It's fictional. It's fake. It's an unhinged level of creativity completely separated from ethics and morals, or in some cases leveraging those ideas to better stamp in some emotional torment. It's not just physically taking apart a victim, or trying to manipulate them mentally; it's full-on destruction. Complete evisceration performed in the name of delusional curiosity, sadistic glee, or self-righteous theatrics.

But, again, it's all fake! So what does it matter? Soundwaves says to himself as he bans any vore content from the Nemesis' servers and scrubs his drives

And then someone brings up Vlad the Impaler.

Imagine the horror as it just clicks. While Cybertronains may not produce excrement, they do have scraplets, so the concept of leaving someone in a tub to slowly rot or forcing rats to dig through bodies just sings a song of pain they are vulnerable to. Of slowly dying in a painful, inevitable method that's meant to leave a lasting mark.

And then a human starts thinking.

Art isn't efficient, but a masterpiece is never meant to be so mere as efficient.

Why not remove t-cogs? the element that helps these creatures transform, a crucible of their identity and self-worth?

Wait, that's not meant to be torture, that's just containment.

No. Torture is using small limbs to unwind and peel back layers of wiring. Torture is leaving portions of a frame to decay and rust, poking at the open wound, and flinging acid inside. Torture is pulling limbs off and reattaching them only to do it again. Torture is removing optics and turning sensors to maximum sensitivity before turning them off again.

Torture is taking those old methods and being creative enough to apply them on a blank canvas with new rules and no precedents.

The issue is not our brutality, it is our cruelty and creativity. And that's something that even the most vile Decepticon can respect.

They might even help you find a new muse, or canvas, to practice with.

TFP Soundwave x Reader

• Ignoring Lazerbeak’s annoyance sitting at the back of his processor like a dark cloud, he turns his attention away from his screens to the small form enshrouded in a nest of blankets on his desk caged between his arms and uses a tendril to adjust one of your blankets, letting the graspers on the end linger against your neck so your emotions spark intoxicatingly through him. Reassuring him that all’s well as he watches over you and helping drown out the mental distress he can feel from the other end of the ship from Megatron’s little pet and the human that Shockwave has taken for reasons he’s trying very hard not to think about. It shouldn’t matter to him one way or the other, but after you? There’s a vague sense of guilt for those others even knowing there’s nothing he can do for them. You he can protect, though. And he will.

• Sleepily peering up at him as he works, he somehow knows the second you’re awake, head tipping down to stare at you as one of his tendrils slides against, then coils about your ankle to make you smile. For being a giant, spiky horror, he’s surprisingly sweet and clingy. “Anything exciting?” You ask, and his head tilts before lifting back to the bank of screens and then down to you in what you guess is a ‘no.’ From what you’ve seen of the feeds throughout the Nemesis, it’s normally pretty boring unless his big, even scarier boss is on a rampage.

• Your little head tilts up to watch the screens with him and he wonders if you’re trying to help or just bored. Running his graspers through your hair, he likes to think you enjoy his company, like to be with him. Remembering that you’re there waiting for him makes his tasks a bit more tolerable, even if leaving you unsupervised makes him uneasy. Old worries like raw wounds still hurting him even though he tries to bury them. Tries to forget and move on. You’re just so fragile.

• The steady slide of those graspers through your hair is almost hypnotic, every bit of tension easing under his attention. You’re never quite sure what’s going on in that pointy head of his, but his actions? Always trying to take care of you, worrying. It’s a pity he’s not a human guy, because you’d grab on and refuse to let go. He’s not human and you already feel that way as silly it is. It’s likely some weird combination of Stockholm’s and stress, but you enjoy being around him. Love how affectionate he is. Venting softly, one of his graspers slides over the shell of your ear, before he just curls the tendril about you, gently squeezing to make you laugh.

• Lowering his head when you tip your own up to look at him, he very carefully bumps his helm to your forehead, spark warming as you reach up to lay a soft palm on him. His affectionate, little songbird. The quick brush of your soft mouth against him sparks electric through him, freezing him in place, before you duck your head. Hiding how red your face now is from him.

~ Anytime you kiss him on the hand or face, holy crap that man will be thinking about it for the rest of his day. He has secretly took pictures and videos of your sweetest moments with him, so anytime he is stressed or down, he watches his recordings to give him more motivation.

~ Since he watched the security camera's 24/7, he will know when someone is being mean to you. The 3rd in command would deal with it himself the next day and you will never see that horrible mech ever again.

~ Researched everything about human culture to make sure anything you said wasn't confusing to him. Yes, he knows slang. No, he will not use it…that is embarrassing.

~ Megatron does not understand the human pet Soundwave acquired but Soundwave planned for this and has made literal PowerPoints for his leader on why you are useful to him.

~ Soundwave has never really cuddled before, so when you hugged him while he worked and nuzzled on his cheek…he is now craving your touch every second you are gone. He will give you every sad face he can send to you until you hug/kiss him again.

~ His tendrils would be so fun. You would play with them all the time and try to catch them when you thought he was distracted by his computer. Why did you always fall for him pretending to work? You are the reason why the Decepticons have late paperwork and reports from 2 weeks ago.

~ Would shut down a bank to give you everything you desire. He would never judge you for what you want.

~ Speaking of what you want. If you are a crazy sex freak, he would give you that. If you are more casual and not care about sex as much, Soundwave would still love and care for all your other needs.

~ Soundwave of course would use his tendrils to please you. I think we all know those things are his best quality.

~ Public Sex? Soundwave would be confused at first on why you would want to do it on his desk, but after the first time he would never question you again. Hiding you from soldiers while fondling your chest with his hands should not be as fun as it is.

~ LOVES your body and caresses everywhere you want him to touch. Him feeling how soft humans are would make him question why Megatron hates organics.

~ You in cute outfits sends him over the edge. Soundwave loved the clothes that humans made and seeing you in rich, beautiful outfits makes him hungry.

~ His spike is average size but to you that is still big as hell so yes he would have to mass displace if you wanted to get real touchy with him.

~ Remember Soundwave craving your touch? Well, don't get him started on you touching his spike. 4 million years of the war made him realize how touch starved and sensitive he was. You can feel him shaking while he recorded everything you did to his shaft.

~ If you tried to be a little shit and do something he told you not to do…yeah you would not be able to get out of bed the next day. Look he will always be nice and gentle with you, but the moment you get naughty on purpose is when you became the bottom in the relationship.

~ He would use his tendrils, tie you up, and abuse your lower half for HOURS!

~ Soundwave is use to not sleeping for 24 hours, so you better have had a goodnight sleep last night, because this will not end until you can't even make noises anymore.

~ He is a master of Aftercare and would bathe you, wrap you up in the softest blankets, and let you sleep soundly. The only thing you would hear before dozing off is the clicking of the computer he was using to finish his work.

I’ve been reading all these and love them! The main one I saw that caught my eye was the one with Death from Puss and Boots. I would love to see more interactions with bots and them. Mainly the Autobots and more Cons.

Optimus does not like this Con.

Actually, thinks this Con is an even bigger threat than Megatron if they are left unchecked. Considers it lucky that this Con is loyal to the Decepticons.

For now…

He absolutely has chills run down his spinal struts hearing the Con’s whistle, but he hides it well for the sake of his team.

Optimus has and will put himself in front of his teammates if he sees the Con on the offense. The Con has offlined many of his fellow Autobots, he is not letting that mistake happen again. If he needs to call for a tactical retreat, he is going to do it when he deems it necessary.

Optimus hearing the Whistle.

“Autobots! Fall back!”--Optimus

“Beep—(But Prime--)”--Bumblebee

“Especially you Bumblebee! Fall back now!”--Optimus

Whistling intensifies.

Optimus throwing Bumblebee over his shoulder and sprinting towards the groundbridge.

Arcee

Besides Arachnid, this Con is also on her ‘on sight’ list.

At least that’s what Arcee says and tries to do.

This works 50% of the time.

That percentage goes to the times she has absolutely gone berserk and starts throwing everything she has against at the Con.

Do any of the attacks have any effect on the Con? No, and the Con themselves finds it entertaining to watch.

This happens when she doesn’t hear the whistle.

However, the other 50% happens when she hears the whistling.

Arcee doesn’t normally freeze, but this Con has every bolt in her frame freezing. Has had multiple near death experiences with this Con, but always manages to get out of the fight. Whether it be through trickery or sheer luck, Arcee is just glad to get out of there with her spark intact.

Would rather go up against Breakdown and Archnid before she has to go through that Con again.

Arcee and Bumblebee on patrol.

Arcee hears some whistling and freezes for a split second before getting the commlink.

“Ratchet. Groundbrigde. Now.”--Arcee

“Now? You two just got there?”--Ratchet

Whistling gets louder.

“Ratchet. They are here. The whistling’s getting louder!”--Arcee

Groundbrigde opens behind them.

Arcee kicking Bumblebee through first before jumping in.

Shockwave

Shockwave almost forgets the Con exists.

The Con never comes into the lab, and he almost never leaves the lab.

The times that he remembers that the Con is still on the ship is whenever they start whistling.

The whistling makes him a bit uneasy, but it doesn’t last long.

Shockwave is not letting some petty emotion like Fear get in the way of science.

It’s illogical.

But he has a copy of their track record in a file cabinet in his lab.

Imagine an army of that Con running around? The Decepticon’s would win the war in a short number of days, week at most. All Shockwave needs to do is get it approved by Megatron and he’ll get to phase 2 of his plans.

Soundwave

Soundwave has had tabs on this Con since the beginning.

Granted, not even he remembers when the Con joined their ranks, just appearing one day and swiftly rising through them.

Soundwave does not trust this Con near Megatron for too long.

He does not send Lazerbeak to spy on the Con alone, not even in a life-or-death situation, he refuses to do it. He’ll make up some sort of accident to give a reason for not deploying Lazerbeak.

That being said, Soundwave has worked with the Con before and has seen their impressive track record. It’s almost as impressive as his.

He does not like the whistling and knows full well that the whistling has produce certain effects on Bot and Cons alike. Naturally, he has a recording of the whistling.

Any Autobot or Decepticon he deems necessary, or had it coming, Soundwave is going to put that whistle at full blast and watch everyone go into a panic.

You where born in the middle of the war with only your carrier there for you. Considering the fact that you where probably the first generation born in the war you where treated entirely different that the ones before you.

You where trained to fight and defend yourself, your carrier was by your side every step you took, and while you where a very powerful young bot you still where just a child.

You already lost your Sire, it was only a matter of time until your carrier would die too, therefore was it the best decision, made by your carrier, to put you in a stasis pod and pray that you will wake up at a safe place and find a new family.

Soundwave

He learned of you because he sent Lazerbeak

He was a little surprised, not that anyone could see, when he saw such a young bot and impressed when he saw how you fought against the vehicons

You where still a little confused but used your size to your advantage but get caught by a group of vehicons at the end

When you first met him in person everyone was confused and a little creeped out because the both of you just stared at each other

Soundwave had to watch over you because you seemed more happy when no one talked with you

After some time and in private you would talk with him over the last cycles and sometimes about your 'childhood'

He thinks that it's a little sad that you only had war in your life until now and shows you pictures of cybertron before everything went down

Soundwave doesn't actually think that there is much wrong with you other than the fact that you seem to have some depressing thoughts when you think about your sire and carrier but Lazerbeak is your best emotional support ever

Shockwave

Meets you only because you get sent to his lab so Megatron can know what you could be useful for on the ship because you weren't trusted to leave the Nemesis at first

He grew relatively fond of you fast because you where very silent and only spoke when needed

He never even thought that there was anything wrong with you, sure you grew up in the war but that's how it works now, he only got a little curious after you spoke with him one day over your past

Over time you grew comfortable around Shockwave, and the other way too, and started to open up more

When you where helping him with inventions you where allowed to talk, unless he said something about it, and sometimes you would talk about what it was like when you where on cybertron

This led to him asking Soundwave for a special folder on your datapad of cybertron before the war which you where allowed to look at when you had free time or trouble slipping into recharge

While he is not the best at motivation he can be a good listener and thanks to his nature you know that when he says something he means it and for you that means a lot

Predaking

When you meet Predaking you have been on the Nemesis for a little while and where trusted not to run away so you where allowed to roam freely

While Megatron and the others where trying to find out what to do with a young bot like you you found yourself on the outside of the ship

You, like everyone else, saw a predacon for the first time in your life and even though you where a very mature bot for your age you still had some childish curiosity in you

So you approached him with caution and somehow you came there every cycle

When Predaking transformed for the first time you witnessed it and he could see your expression on your faceplates finally without having to guess what you feel

You just stood there like: O.O and tackled him with a hug

He was so proud of you for showing your emotions to him

He knows how you feel and helps you find out everything you can about cybertron before the war

There where many times where you, instead of Starscream, where with him and the both of you searched through the databanks to know more about cybertron

Often you both would fall into recharge while Predaking is curled around you, no matter if in root or beast form, and you would loosely hold an databank with pictures of cybertron while it still stood and was alright

Knockout

He learned about relatively early considering he somehow always knows the latest tea

You got sent into the medbay because of your little crash landing

First meeting was a little awkward, Knockout tried his best to get you to talk and is worried that you are just like Soundwave

When you are sent to him because it was needed to lear what you could be useful for, and they needed more medics, both of you internally dreaded the meeting

Over time you got used to each other and you actually had full conversations when you where alone

Knockout became some sort of therapy for you because he sees that you clearly got issues because of your past and the war you have almost every second cycle a 'therapy session' of sorts

Knockout loves to tell you about cybertron and even gets some videos about the different places across the planet

Breakdown

He was the first one to meet you actually because he was sent to investigate the crash and look for the bot that could be in it

Because you didn't know him and you learned to keep distance you kicked him into faceplate out of reflex

You met him soon after you get brought to the ship again and quietly said your sorry for what happened

Considering he's the most sympathetic bot on the ship you stay around him for the most part

That obviously doesn't go unnoticed and Megatron decides that you will just go wherever Breakdown goes

You both talk a lot once you get comfortable and Breakdown feels really bad for you and tries his best to give you what he had when he was still a young bot

This causes you to vent to him since he is the one bot you trust the most

When you can't recharge you often go into the medbay because Breakdown is almost always there and if not his habsuite is almost directly next to the medbay and you are always allowed to enter

On nights where you can't recharge and spend with Breakdown he often tells you about cybertron and his childhood memories

Especially if this is after Knockout tears most of the comfy ones and THAT's why the troops even talked about it

He did hear the doctor and his… Conjux? Amica? Whatever that big brute is to that narcissistic grounder, he was clearly upset about something regarding humans personal garments

To Starscream's embarrassment, he gets caught.

He could, would and does get away with a lot of panty theft

His tentacles can get into rooms completely silently without the human noticing and be gone just as quick

He has eyes everywhere, he knows when they will and won't be in each room

The human would very much notice and quickly come to the conclusion, but they need proof

They need to see him with the panties

Here, Lazerbeak takes one for Team Wave

And makes it seem like they were the rascal stealing all the panties

Puts them all in a pile and pretend they made a nest like the Earth Birds do

Soundwave is touched and Lazerbeak is never going to live this down. They took the bullet for Dadwave, and he is keeping all the pics forever

Both Soundwave and Breakdown have an easy out if they ever get caught

Soundwave has his minicon,

Breakdown has his overly caring spark

These two are the top dads aboard the Nemesis and the human falls for it (almost) every time.

This is how they do it: Soundwave on the recharge slab, Lazerbeak on his left shoulder, Rumble and Frenzy tucked in the crook of his right arm. Buzzsaw roosts on the corner near Soundwave’s head, while Ravage takes the opposite end, sometimes wrapping around Soundwave’s pedes the nights the ship gets too cold.

See? It’s not so hard. Even though sometimes Rumble and Frenzy are fighting, so one twin takes the crook and the other makes a space down next to Ravage, who doesn’t like to be touched. Ravage moves further up, settling next to Soundwave’s thigh, and Soundwave has to be very careful throughout the night to not move and accidentally push him off.

They’re a team, they can make anything work. Even the times they’ve been underground too long and Buzzsaw gets restless, getting up every hour to do a lap around their room. Most of them can sleep through it, but not Frenzy, who still hasn’t earned his gun privileges back after trying to shoot down the aerial one very late night. Igniting thrusters and rustling ailerons wake him up every time, and he buries his head into the nearest plating to block out the sound. If he’s lucky, it’s Soundwave or Rumble. Otherwise, claws and a bristling felinoid set him straight.

The only time they complain about the arrangement is when one of them gets sick, because then they have to break it up. Ravage will quarantine himself to protect the team, but Lazerbeak can’t sleep unless someone else is nearby. When she’s sick, it’s a matter of deciding who’s going to be miserable with her. It can’t be Rumble, though, because the lucky fragger never realizes when he’s ill and has already been responsible for too many base-wide outbreaks.

They all agree, though, that the absolute worst is when Soundwave gets sick. Like Ravage, he’ll leave for the good of the team, but instead of sequestering in a vent somewhere, the only place he can properly be contained is the medbay. The room is very empty without him. Even for a full roster of five cassettes, the berth is very large. Those are the nights Ravage will curl close to Frenzy while letting Rumble rub behind his ears. Lazerbeak nestles into the center of the pile while Buzzsaw keeps to the edge, wings open and draped over his family.

And after a couple nights of this, Soundwave comes back and they fall back into their places like cogs in a machine. Really, simple.

So I wrote a bit of an in between segment for @imababblekat headcanons for Megatron and his younger sibling.

I finished this a long time ago but then I became Good Omens trash and kinda forgot about it.

~ Megatron stormed off after blowing up at his sibling and second in command demanding that they leave, leaving them all in a stunned state. Yes the two had gotten into fights many times before, but never like this, this was the first time they were actually afraid of their brother.  

~ Having witnessed what had just happened Soundwave walked over to the couple, gently placing a servo on younger sibs shoulder to get their attention, offering his assistance in getting Starscream to his pedes along with a groundbridge off of the ship; seeming saddened by what had happened as he watched them disappear.

~Once the two had stepped through the bridge Starscream was no longer able to support his own weight, even with the assistance of his S/O, and collapsed; S/O falling to the ground with him, holding the seeker close as they reassured him everything was going to be alright even though they could both hear the obviously cybertronian footsteps approaching them. ~ Younger sib turned towards the sound and saw Optimus looking down at them, seeming to understand what was going on simply by taking in the scene before him.

~ Despite the war and everything else Optimus and Megatrons younger sibling have still managed to keep a good relationship, but the seeker wasn’t fully aware of this and attempted to raise his weapons in order to protect his S/O, only to have them gently lower his arm as the Prime approached. ~ Without saying a word to the couple Optimus commed back to base and informed Ratchet of the need for emergency medical assistance along with a groundbridge.

~ Of course, once the injured seeker was brought through the ground bridge the medic was not happy about it, but managed to wait until after he was finished with the surgery to ask questions. He still wasn’t happy once he got his answers, but was willing to keep this a secret as long as the seeker was put in a lockable backroom for his healing.

~ It didn't take long for Starscream to regain consciousness and his first reaction upon seeing his surroundings was to go on the offensive, until he spotted his S/O standing off to the side with Optimus speaking to Ratchet about something he was to far away to over hear.

~ Judging by the relaxed body language of his S/O Starscream figured this wasn't their first time at the Autobots base, and he was right when first interacting with Optimus on Earth the Prime had insisted that they would always welcome at the base.

~ Optimus’ decision to do this may have been for a bit of a selfish reason, knowing that if younger sibling had bonded with the children they would do their best to make sure the three remained safe if they were ever captured.

~ Of course the other ‘bots weren’t exactly thrilled about it when it first happened, but eventually got over it, except for maybe Arcee, especially since it was obvious that they had no interest in trying to get any type of information that may have been useful to their brother.

~ So it wasn't much of a surprise when they heard Miko calling out for younger sib, saying she wanted to watch a new show with them.

~ Although reluctant, S/O decided to go and see Miko the decision having been made easier with Starscream giving them the go ahead; so with a quick kiss they were gone.

"You should have left me to offline. It seems as if I cause them nothing but pain"

~ Ratchets helm immediately whipped back to look at Starscream with an expression of pure shock and befuddlement displayed across his faceplate as his processor appeared to be rebooting itself in it’s attempt to understand what he’d just overheard.

~ Optimus also seemed rather shocked by this statement but was also very disheartened by it, yes he may not have been happy about who younger sib had decided to become involved with, but he knew they were more than capable of making decisions for themselves and he trusted them.

~ He made sure to let Starscream know this as well as gave him a bit of a pep talk and managed to put things into a better perspective for the seeker.

~ It was a few weeks before Starscream was able to get back on his pedes and a few more days before he was clear to leave the base.

"You are more than welcome to stay here, until Megatron has calmed down" "I know, but once the others find out Starscream’s here it can only end in disaster" "...I understand"

~ Opening up a groundbridge sib was about to walk through it with Starscream when they suddenly stopped.  

~ Turning back around younger sib ran back to Optimus, wrapping their arms tightly around the Prime before going back to bridge, taking Starscreams servo in theirs before the two stepped through.

~ Despite the fact that he didn’t really like Earth’s organic life Starscream had talked Ratchet into bridging them to an isolated somewhere that he knew his S/O would enjoy.

~ It did the trick. The moment his S/O had saw where they’d been bridged to their face imediutly lit up.

~ After that it was pretty much like they were backpacking around the world since Starscream didn't want them staying in one location for too long, afraid of what would happen if they were found.

~ That didn't stop Sundwave however, the ever loyal soldier always managing to find their location so he could send out Lazerbeak to bring them small amounts of energon.

~ When Soundwave saw Megatrons sibling it was obvious, at least to Megatron and his sibling, that he wanted to greet them, but wasn’t sure exactly how to go about it, so they ended up giving him a hug, that ended up being a bit of an awkward considering the length of his arms. "Come on" Knockout said, grabbing hold of them and dragging them with him "Where're we going?" "Places" "Why?" "You'll find out when we get there"

~ Starscream tried to follow after his S/O but it seemed like every fifteen feet he was being stopped by groups of Vehicons acting like they simply wanted to have a normal conversation with him but it was obvious that they were attempting to interrogate him about his relationship.

~ The only break he seemed to catch was when Breakdown caught up to him, giving him a quick rundown of what had happened while he was gone as the wrecker walked with him to where both their conjuxs were, finding the two already washed and buffed; relaxing on younger sibs berth, bodies propped up on large pillows and wrapped up in big puffy bathrobes (because why not), and faces covered in a wax based face mask as they listened to The Office play on younger sibs data pad.

"I noticed none of my plants are dead, did you water ‘em while I was gone?" "No, Breakdown and I were doing our best to stay invisible until either you came back or he realized that we had a hand in helping your relationship and had to bail ship. I don't know who watered them, but my best guess is Soundwave"

~ Noticing that they were no longer alone in the room S/O scooted over to make room for Starscream on the berth while Knockout moved so that he could lay on top of Breakdown once he laid down.

~ For a short while after the couple came back to the ship the Vehicons would heckle them a bit when the two showed affection towards each other; while his S/O was able to take it in good spirit Starscream couldn’t help but feel a bit incensed by it, but eventually got over it, especially once he realized that his S/O found their comments amusing.

Music box: chapter 5 - at the end of the day

Antonina stretched her arms as she put on a big comfy shirt. She turned to a bot that was standing near the wall.

- Sorry if I took too long, - she said, - We can go now.

He silently reached out his servo for the girl to sit on. They walked out of the room and went down the hall. Today’s mission was a success, Tonya was given a permission to use Decepticons’ decontaminating shower and she could now just go back to Soundwave’s berthroom to rest, so she felt very relaxed. Communications officer still had a work to do and Lazerbeak was out somewhere as well, so he ordered a vehicon to take care of her for the time being. The girl looked at the mech.

- So, what is your name? - she asked and he turned to her, - If you’re watching after me, it would be nice to know how to call you.

- 5T3V3, - he answered.

- I see... um.... Can I call you by some nickname?

- Steve.

- Oh, alright, - the girl now felt a little flustered, since she was ready to call him TV or 33, - I am Antonina. But you can call me Tonya.

The mech didn’t answer. He just turned away. Well, she could understand that. After all, it looked like Decepticons didn’t really like humans to begin with. And these vehicons weren’t the most talkative ones.

They entered Soundwave’s quarters. Robot put the girl on desk where she had made herself a bed out of big fluffy blanket and single pillow. There was also a small mat, a box and a bag. She sat there and took her notes again. She couldn’t delay it any further. She always did all if her homework in the first day, training the rest of her days off. Now was the fourth day already and her math was still far from completion.

Steve stayed with her as he was ordered and watched her struggles with difficult formulas. He was silent and only once took a glance at tiny book. Surprisingly, all these formulas didn’t look so hard and complicated. Well, what could he expect of creatures whose processor was so much smaller than his. Although he did find these little creatures a little interesting.

Suddenly his com hissed making him jolt. He touched it hearing Shockwave’s voice.

- Vehicon 5T3V3, come to the lab. Your assistence is required.

- But, Shockwave, sir, I am now fulfilling officer Soundwave’s order. I cannot leave his organic’s side untill he dismisses me.

- That is none of my concern. Other Vehicons are out in the energon mines, so you must have more important tasks than watching after an organic.

The call ended. It looked like he didn’t have a choice. Again. Well, this is what being a vehicon means. Steve looked at the girl again recalling what she asked to call her.

- Tonya, - she looked up at him, - I am summoned to Shockwave’s lab. Since I still can’t let you out of my sight, you are to go with me.

- But Lord Megatron said I can’t go anywhere beside Soundwave’s room and sanctum, - she answered concerned.

Vehicon thought for a moment and after few seconds answered:

- I don’t think Lord Megatron would come to the lab himself if he needed to discuss something with Shockwave. He would rather summon Shockwave to the deck, - he said, - Anyway, I need to be quick, so grab what you need and let’s go.

Antonina took her books and put them into bag hastily, then jumped on Steve’s servo. They walked through the ship’s hallways for some time before they finally arrived at the large door. It opened as Steve walked closer. Inside was a large room all packed with different gadgets, machines, glass tubes, pipes and other strange lab equipment. The room was well lit, unlike most of the rooms on Nemesis. Antonina could see two more vehicons at one of the desks... um... doing something she wasn’t sure what. Then she saw another mech approach them. The first thing that stroke her eye was not coloring or body complection. It was his eye. One and only.

- “Didn’t know that Cybertronians had cyclops” - she thought.

The purple con pointed his finger at the girl.

- What is this organic doing here? - he asked with monotone voice. It somehow reminded her of her math teacher from back home.

- My apologies, Shockwave, sir, but I still cannot neglet officer Soundwave’s orders. So may I ask permission for her to stay in the lab for the time being. Of course, she will be quiet and will not interrupt with your work.

The cyclops looked at the human for a few seconds and then nodded. Steve then placed her at the edge of the desk, the girl sat down leaning her back against the wall.

- Do not try anything illogical, - Shockwave said before going back to his work.

- Nice to meet you too, - Tonya said quietly going back to her work as well.

Antonina stretched her limbs sore from sitting in one position. Finally, she finished, and the freedom was all hers. Putting her studyings back in her bag the girl pressed her feet against the wall and stretched again. Of course, the day was done, so there was no more time for training, but a little evening exercise wouldn’t hurt.

Suddenly she heard a growl nearby. Turning around she saw a giant metal muzzle right in front of her. Taking a look at the body of the one who appeared before her, Tonya said:

- First - a cyclop. Now - a dragon. How many more mythical creatures do they have here?

The beast inhaled. It seemed to sniff her. “Can they even feel smell? They are made of metal. Do they have same feelings as humans do?” The girl thought.

- Nu zdrastvui, Strashilochka, - she said, carefully holding out her hand, - Mind if I touch you?

She stopped her hand, not daring to touch the dragon yet. After a few seconds it brought its muzzle a little closer and touched her, letting the girl pet him slightly before backing off.

Steve noticed that Predacon has approached the human and got worried. This could be really bad. He was used to behaving with other Decepticons more or less, but a human was a whole different story. The Vehicon stiffened, now always looking back at them while trying not to get too distracted from his work.

- Is everything okay? - he asked when the beast backed off.

- Yes, just got a few “How to train your dragon” vibes, - she answered.

- What?

- Never mind. It’s from human cinematography, - oh, so obviously she associated the creature with something from local culture. The ‘con sighed in relief.

- Predaking seems surprisingly calm with you, but still be careful, - he said.

- Predaking? - Tonya looked at the dragon, - So it’s a male. Guess, he deserves his name. Looks pretty regal to me.

Then she looked at Steve as he walked away going back to his duty. And she heard the sound of shifting. She remembered quite clearly that this sound was always heard when ‘con transformed into vehicle. But who would need to transform here, in the lab? And under Shockwave’s eye? It sure didn’t seem like a good idea. The girl looked around curiously only to find no vehicles around. And no dragon either. In his place standed a large mech of the same coloring and he stared at her.

- Oh, - the only thing she could say, before a realization struck her quickly, - Ooooh... - now it was her turn to back away slightly, - Um... Sorry. Didn’t know you could do that.

The mech approached her and placed his servo on the table beside her. And bent down to be on one level with her. In the end his faceplate was in mere inches from girl’s face.

- Never expected Decepticons to go Autobot way, - he snarled, - Or could you be one of Autobots’ pets?

- No, - Tonya said, backing away again, - More like Soundwave’s personal music box.

- A music box? - Predaking raised his optic ridge.

- Well, you know, a little pretty box with a figure on top. You start it and it plays music as a figure dances.

All she got in response was a “hmm” as Predacon standed straight looking down at the human. Clearly he still wanted something.

- What did you say to me? - he asked with his usual snarl.

- Excuse me? - the girl asked, not sure what he was talking about.

- Before you asked permission to touch me. What did you say? - now his voice sounded even more intimidating.

- Um... I only greeted you, - she answered, but under his gaze she realized that hiding anything wasn’t the best idea, - And... I used a nickname to address you since I didn’t know your name.

- And what was that name you used? - he snarled again, sending a shiver down girl’s spine.

- It was.., - Antonina thought for a moment wondering how to translate it correctly, - Well, the word means “scare” but in affectionate way. We use such words to address something we like.

The beast snarled again. Now the situation was getting really scary. She tried her best to explain it in the way, that wouldn’t anger the dragon, but she wasn’t sure she succeeded. The girl looked at Steve, who stood not far from them and already seemed to start panicking. He took a small step towards them looking like he was ready to grab the girl and make a run with her any moment. Then they heard the door slide open. Steve jolted and then suddenly looked relieved.

- Tonya, officer Soundwave has come to pick you up! - he announced.

Then the girl felt a familiar tentacle drab her by the collar and snatch away from predacon. She faced visor that now showed a smiley face.

- Hello, Soundwave. Did you finish your work? - she asked after releasing the breath she didn’t know she was holding.

The mech nodded, placed the girl in his servo, took her bag and left the lab. They walked down the halls of Nemesis in silence as usual. But Antonina didn’t mind. Actually, she never minded silence if it wasn’t just too awkward to bare. Communications officer entered his berthroom and placed his human on the desk.

- Thank you, - the girl said, - You really saved me back there.

Soundwave nodded again before detaching Lazerbeak from his chasis and turning the light dim.

Transformers hotel!Au

Was at Universal Studios today and saw a cafe called Starbot cafe. I accidentally said Starbot Hotel, and this hotel au just suddenly popped up in my head. My first au, so please, no flames, and tell me what you think!

(Tfa bots keep their design, but relationships may differ a little to fit into this au. Nothing too major though, so don’t worry.)

Scenario: Optimus and Megatron (TFP) opens a hotel on Cybertron some day after the war ends. Former faction members from both sides end up being the hotel staff, and the hotel is still somehow running.

TFP Autobots

Optimus - Owner and propagandist (also would make random appearances at hotel and 1) stand there looking cool or 2) help lost people find their way because certain porters aren’t doing their duties.

Ratchet - Grumpy head medic that does not want to actually be there over half the time. Stationed with duty 24/7 and constantly wants to bash head in.

Arcee - Porter #1 - drives everyone (and their luggages) to their rooms (is always getting annoyed by the other two porters and will not so subtlety force them to do their duties without running off)

Bumblebee - Promoter #1 (Actually a main reason why people go to StarBot Hotel is because of how adorable Bee is, but he’s a good promoter too. Secretly fanboys over every ship happening in the hotel and helped play matchmaker in some situations. Tfa Bumblebee is his twin of sorts.)

Bulkhead - Assistant nurse to Ratchet who always (accidentally) trashes the medbay more than keeping it in order. Always tries his best however, no matter what Ratchet says, so give him a break

Smokescreen - Porter #2 (hyper and fast, and will actually get the job done efficiently if he actually stops skipping duty to race with KO and Tfa Bunblebee. Gossips about relationships on off time, mostly to Tfp Bumblebee)

Ultra Magnus - Security guard #1 (tells everyone to be rule abiding. Seem to always have eyes everywhere 24/7. He and Soundwave makes a good team)

Wheeljack - Stunt performer who gives free shows to hotel users and tells people to blow up Ratchet’s medbay and blame it on Bulkhead. Flirts with Ratchet even though neither are romantically interested in one another.

TFP Decepticons

Megatron - Co Owner, receptionist and chambermaid (Optimus tells him that he scares everyone away and stuck him with cleaning duty unfortunately)

Starscream - Promoter #2 (Actually does a good job at convincing people to stay in the hotel with his convincingness. Helps out anyone else who needs it when off duty (except for Megatron))

Soundwave - Security guard #2 (Scares everyone silently into abiding the law. Magically appears whenever someone is about to do something wrong and stares at them until they get the cue and stops what they’re doing. Lazerbeak is his son and prodigy security guard-in-training and he would casually kill anyone who looks down upon him. In semi relationship with SS)

Knockout - Head cleaner, part time medic to help Ratchet (always yells at people who accidentally nicks the ground, wall or anything in the hotel even a little bit. When helping Ratchet, both constantly argues about each others’ choice of assistant. Also sneaks off during duty to race, much to everyone’s annoyance.)

Breakdown - Knockout’s assistant who always (accidentally) messes up what he’s supposed to clean (GIVE THIS BEAN A BREAK HE’S TOO BIG) Knockout understands though, and never calls him out.

Dreadwing - Security guard #3 (passive aggressively scares everyone to be law abiding by carrying his huge cannon around, and telling everyone earnestly that it’s dishonourable to break the rules)

Airachnid - Security camera manager #1 (doesn’t really care if a crime is being committed or not, thinks murdering is fine as long as not bloody so that knockout does not have a hissy fit. Thank goodness U.M. and S.W keeps everyone in check. Doesn’t like her partner on duty and secretly plotting to kill her.)

Shockwave - Receptionist #1 (Tries not to act as if he’s done with life. The mono optic makes it a little hard.)

Steve the Vehicon - The random jester that makes everyone laugh and has a not-so-secret admiration for Starscream

Other Eradicons and Vehicons - Cooks (and sometimes chambermaids and cleaners as well? Always gossip about the latest news regarding the mechs working in the hotel and is just done with their superiors and Lugnut)

TFA Autobots

TFA Optimus - Next in line to inheriting hotel (Optimus TFP’s Son. Is the kind and unsure person who tries his best and yet have things backfire in his face sometimes and have others questioning his authority. His dad is there to teach him though, everything will be fine.)

Prowl - Yoga instructor (gives everyone free yoga lessons and sometimes even karate. Tells everyone to either ignore TFA bumblebee or just kick his aft. Completely clueless to Jazz’s swooning, poor birb.)

TFA Bumblebee - Porter #3 (like Smokescreen, is hyper and fast and would be efficient if he wasn’t always leaving the job for Arcee to complete. Bails on duty sometimes to go racing with KO and Smokescreen. Sometimes Blitzwing catches all of them and sticks them with kitchen serving duty. Doesn’t like to be referred to as ‘Bumblebee’s twin.)

Jazz - Music provider / DJ (seriously, he comes up with the best songs. Provides the right kind of music for different occasions. Secretly head over heels for TFA Prowl. Is a really chill guy until you question his music tastes.)

Sentinel Prime - Receptionist #2 (is secretively scared of TFP Optimus but constantly undermines TFA Optimus. TFP Optimus puts him in line tho. Shockwave is secretly done with S.P.)

TFA Decepticons

TFA Megatron- Head chef?? Constantly tries to poison energon for bots and food for humans but always gets thwarted by Ultra Magnus (TFP) Also needs to learn how to treat the Vehicons and Eradicons better, but they always get back at him.

Lugnut - TFA Megatron’s assistant chef. (Worships the food and energon prepared by the guy. Also tries (and fails) to influence the cooks (Vehicons And Eradicons) with Megatron’s ‘mightiness and amazingness with cooking)

Blitzwing - Hotel supervisor and manager (Icy is extremely strict, calm and civil to patrons and tolerates paperwork. Hothead blows up at everyone and incinerates paperwork and Random just cannot be bothered with paperwork. Also in a semi relationship with TFA Bumblebee.)

TFA Starscream - (By a weird twist of fate) Megatron’s superior. Makes Megatron make extra dishes and energon as he pleases just because he could. (Doesn’t give two shits about Megatron poisoning food, ironically, even though he’s drinking that energon too)

Blackarachnia - On security cam duty with Airachnid. Surprisingly they do not get along and butt heads constantly. (Case to point, Thank Primus for Ultra Magnus and Soundwave (and lazerbeak). Knows that Airachnid wants to kill her but doesn’t bother with such petty thoughts, seeing that there’s three (four?) security guards on duty)

So…They have a stray cat on board the ship. Soundwave reported that the cat got on board when they landed a few weeks ago. Megatron told his entire crew that if they see this little creature, exterminate it and dispose of it. Megatron hates not only humans, but anything that is from this gross planet called Earth. He has no idea why his old friend protects these disgusting creatures, and he can't believe how highly he thought of Optimus before the war. Megatron has seen the security footage of the p/c (pelt color) fluffy bug walking around and sniffing around. Anytime he asks people to go hunt it down, they tell him how they either couldn't catch it, or accidentally shot another soldier in the foot trying to kill it. He has gotten so angry about the little shit, he told everyone that he was going to do it himself and ever sense he would observe all the hallways he walks past. If he saw anything remotely organic or even small, he would aim his blaster at the thing before finally realizing it wasn't the creature.

You, a small cat that has been through foster home after foster home finally ran away from your last family and became a stray for a few months. Right now it was winter and it was way colder than you would've liked it to be. You found a nice warm looking blue car and hopped on the back of it before it drove off. Breakdown didn't know you were on him at the time and you now are living inside this massive flying mansion that you have been happily running around. Secretly you have been eating any rats that would wonder onto the ship whenever they land or you would just leave and kill as much as you could to hide somewhere on the ship to last a longer time. Your pantry is now massive, filled with dead rats and birds inside a small vent in the wall. It was so cold in that vent that all your food could last a whole other week before expiring. You are right now grooming yourself as you see guards walking past the vent from time to time. You liked breakdown from how warm he was, but you have always been way more interested in the giant grey spikey giant. You have dreamed of laying on his shoulder when he sits on his giant chair and being able to sleep in peace. Soldiers fear him and you would love to just have someone there to protect you. Though it has gotten a bit worrying anytime you try to get near him. He would shoot anything, even a soldier if he thought you were around the corner. All your motivation is just to…climb on the thrown secretly and lay on the giant warlord. The only robot that you were able to have them trust you and keep you a secret was Lazerbeak. Lazerbeak saw you once, but than realized you were chill and just hasn't really said anything about it. Only Soundwave also knows about it, but he loves his child so much he hasn't told Megatron either for her. Soundwave does wish for you to just leave the ship and never return. He knows this isn't a good environment for you, but he understands that you have now just made this place your weird home so he just convinces Megatron sometimes to not have the ship fly until you climb back on with your prey. There was a time when soundwave met you personally and the way you rubbed on his leg and vibrates…yep nope you have been adopted. He just now needs to convince his leader to chill out about this fluffy cutie. Soundwave has emailed all soldiers to not harm you as you would be useful to the cause and there would be consequences if you were hurt in anyway. Now you are able to walk around freely and have made a bunch of friends with the lower military bots. Knockout and Breakdown are one of your favorites and have just been chilling in the med bay most of the time on the ship, but that wasn't enough for you. You are a cat, you are very stubborn. When you have a goal you would not be stopped, you NEED that big giant to like you.

Hiding under Soundwave's desk, you see the big leader on his chair like always. It is now time to get your dream cat tower as you slink yourself behind the throne. Soundwave sees you and looks over to Megatron, who is right now looking at some data pads of reports. Your little paws sink into the floor and than jump to the arm rest and then jump up to his shoulder quickly without him noticing…at first. Once you got on his shoulder you started to kneed the area before loafing about. Megatron feels the tiny pressure on his shoulder and looks over, seeing the tiny creature he has been desperately trying to kill for the past few weeks. "…" He lifts his canon up to his shoulder very quietly to not startle you and starts to charge up. Soundwave stops what he was doing and steps forward. Megatron sees this and stops the canon from firing, but still has it aimed. "What do you want Soundwave, I am busy disposing this bug." Soundwave steps closure and shows him the recording of Lazerbeak and him playing with the creature and other clips of the entire ship loving on you, even…Dreadwing has a clip of him petting you with his finger while he was doing paperwork. Megatron was furious at first and was going to just squish you, but than Soundwave shows a small graph of the morality the ship had after you started coming here. There was even another chart that stated the success rates of missions have increase because of the soldiers now having a motive to come back to the ship. Megs still…did not like this what so ever. He was ready to risk his entire fleet on turning back on him just because of this stupid thing. Both of them stop what they were doing when you made a noise. You woke up and started to meow, purring on Megatron and rubbing against his helmet. Soundwave wasn't really showing any emotion (never does), but holy crap was he shaking on the inside for you to just either stop what you were doing or run for your safety. Megatron feels the fluffy fur (or soft skin if you are a hairless cat) on his helm and his entire mind just shifts to how cute you were. No…he will not be manipulated by this thing! Good primus though you are making the cutest purring noises and your tail just swishing around. Megatron grumbles and puts his hand down. "Fine, but this little scrap better not be on me when others are around." Soundwave gives a smiling emoji and goes back to his work. No one sees this, but after a while of you sleeping on his shoulder, he takes a finger and pets the top of your head. Yep, you have done the impossible. Megatron likes you now.

I present: giant faceless boyfriends ~Tell me how I did

-Being aboard a monstrous alien vessel, some would think that your life is uncomfortable; constantly having to side step and keep an eye out for yourself at every turn. This could not be further from the truth.

-As the ‘waves spend their workdays on separate parts of the ship, so you stay with each of them on alternating days. The other will always try to find some time or make some excuse to visit you both.

-Soundwave will rarely ever let your feet touch the floor in his presence, you are always perched on his shoulder or somewhere in his direct line of sight, as he is very protective of you. When he is not around to carry you or watch you, Lazerbeak is tasked with keeping you safe and providing a constant video feed to him, even when you are with Shockwave in his lab. No one but himself, Shockwave, and Lazerbeak are allowed to even touch you, in fact - Though you find that rule to be ridiculous, as you have a pretty good relationship with most Vehicons aboard the ship*.

-You had heard rumours that Lazerbeak was nothing more than a mindless drone, but you know this is definitely not the case; the bird-like bot always seems to react to your touch with a certain guarded gentleness, you pet him often as a result and he seems to enjoy it very much. Sometimes he brings you trinkets from recon missions, small crystals and interesting looking objects that you like to place on a personal shelf in your shared habsuite. (I’m here for hoverboard friend Lazerbeak who’s with me?)

-The cell signal may be scrambled aboard the Nemesis, but this doesn’t mean you can’t listen to your saved music. Soundwave will often access it, so that you two can listen to it together. You even make an activity of finding out what songs he likes best; he’ll let out a low hum in agreement when you find a song he particularly enjoys, or a small mechanical whine when it’s time for you to switch. You both prefer you playlists to include a mixture of upbeat techno, bass-heavy rock, and some sort of odd concoction of the two. He’ll never admit it, but he has a soft spot for Rihanna and other similar pop music, so you make sure to keep Disturbia and Good Night Gotham in your music queue. When they come on, Soundwave’s visor lights up with audio reactive visuals, which seem to put you in some kind of trance as you watch the colourful lines move and react in synch with the beat. These are one of his favourite moments with you, and you don’t notice it, but he’ll often pause his work to observe your face intensely as the light reflects off of it.  

-As a joke, sometimes you play ‘Guys My Age’ by Hey Violet just to get a funny reaction out of Soundwave, who never knows how to process the lyrics and your purpose for playing them.

-Time to time a completely new playlist of compiled songs you’ve never heard before will appear on your phone, the title of the playlist will always be an emoji that reminds him of you, like a crown, a flower, or all the extra-looking heart emojis, you find it adorable.

-Your time with Shockwave is always a learning experience. He’s been trying to teach you how to speak and read in certain important Cybertronian dialects as of late, and you’ve surprisingly been learning quite quickly. You often pick up words as you watch him work at his terminal, and you’ll ask what they mean after trying to pronounce them a couple times. Even if you can’t understand the science of his work, and he knows this, he’ll try to explain it to you the best he can, and you always listen intently. There’s something priceless about how your face lights up in wonderment while you drink in his every word. Though he isn’t one for projecting emotions, he finds it extremely heartwarming that you take such great interest in his work and culture.

-You try practicing your Cybertronian with the Vehicons in the rare moments you get to speak with them unnoticed, and though you have a heavy accent and use all the wrong inflections they appreciate it greatly. 

-Shockwave likes to shower you in luxuries, you never quite understand how he gets his hands on diamonds and other pretty precious stones half your size, or yards of fabric that are so soft and silky they are other-worldly, but you always show your appreciation by leaving small kisses on the side of his face when he puts you on his shoulder. He loves these very much, and will often point out that they are illogical yet very enjoyable.

-Once you had gotten a seasonal allergy between Winter and Spring, and despite you assuring your giant worried boyfriends that you were fine, there was no lack of panic between them. Soundwave had kept you wrapped in fluffy blankets the entire day, as close to him as possible for observation and warmth, while Shockwave spent the day researching humans and your symptoms, almost breaking his calm collected character for a moment after reading a WebMD article (before deeming it as unreliable and therefore illogical of course). Shockwave now keeps an entire drugstore-worth of Earth medicines hidden in his lab, he never told you how he had gotten his hands on it all, and you won’t dare to ask.

-Though you do have your own appropriately-size bed in your shared habsuite, you never really use it. You always take your pick of where to set up a blanket nest between the wave’s at the end of the day. Soundwave has a habit of wrapping his tentacles around his S/O’s while they sleep, most of the time one is curled around you and the other around Shockwave’s waist.
