Don’t mind the outfit, I was just taken by the idea of participating that lovely little human tradition called ‘Casual Friday’ by wearing a more informal outfit! I even found a pair of jeans! With a hole in them!

I also found a new friend when I was doing my chores around the manor! They seem a bit… intense, and seems to have a love of eating paint. I think I might just bring them along with me to the show! Everyone could use a friend, and I want to show them how wonderful my family is!

Marvel's Champions - Girls' Night

Here's a fairly hefty piece I did featuring the girls of Marvel's Champions: Lunella Lafayette (Moon Girl), Fernanda Rodriguez ([Red] Locust), Nadia van Dyne (the Unstoppable Wasp), Amka Aliyak (Snowguard), Riri Williams (Ironheart), Viv Vision, and Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel). Oh, and Sparky the dog and Devil Dinosaur are there. I wanted to do something cozy and used the opportunity to practice some perspective suchlike.

Syi

Funne haunted mad scientist robot Syi is the result of me taking all my favorite character tropes, design traits, a backstory based on one of my favorite songs, she was designed to be to sort of opposite to my favorite character ever

Basically Syi is the favorite goober and I pour all my love and teenage angst into her

Lavender "Stein"

Lavender is definitely not related to Syi whatsoever I have no idea what your talking about

OK in all seriousness I can't say too much about Lavender cuz I might spoil me and my friends oc lore but all you need to know is that she struggled with a lot of mental health issues and was incredibly self sacrificial to an unhealthy degree

Carol Cornflower (Carrie for short :3)

Carol is the lone survivor of a tragic event and suffers from ptsd thankfully she has a group of supportive friends (and a girlfriend) to help her out!

Once again can't say too much about Carol due to the risk of spoiling me and my friends oc stuff but she's was based off of my experience with paranoia and ptsd (she also had a crush on the aro/ace lady and she had no idea she was aro/ace until after said aro/ace lady died-)

Harriet The Lucky Hare

Based off of big fancy Casinos and magic shows Harriet is a charming individual who isnt hiding anything

She's kinda neglected because I find the robot sillier but I still love her (Also she has a crush on the empress)

Cheshire

an OC I haven't really talked about on here Cheshire is a fairly young child who was raised in an unfortunate situation and after jumping into a vat of toxic ooze became a slime who was infected with an evil disease afterwards filled with spite she now roams the halls of the abandoned laboratory vowing vengeance upon the one who infected her however she is still a child and she isn't too far gone sooo FOUND FAMILY HELPS HER YIPPEEEEE

Cheshire is basically the OC-ification of Cyn from Murder Drones based on some of my old headcanons from when episode 5 first released

Thought's on Asimov's laws of robotics

Assuming everyone knows the rules 1. robot can't harm humans or through inaction allow them to come to harm 2. robot must obey orders as long as they don't conflict with rule 1 3. robot must protect itself as long as that doesn't conflict with other rules

does this mean a robot would be a narc? like if a robot witnesses a human doing drugs or performing an action that is known to harm a person, it would have to do everything within its power to stop that, including killing itself. what about instances where not even other people know if there could be harm, like a threat? It seems like robots must always assume that any verbal threat will be acted upon, for risk of causing harm through inaction. this would just mean robots are fucking shit to be around lmao

but we can take this further, because there is so much harm in the world I'm going to rephrase rule 1 to be a more lenient "no mortal harm" rule, robots just can't cause death or allow death to happen in this case, if someone dies as a result of building a robot, would the robot need to kill itself upon gaining sentience? Let's also assume no, that robots have some original sin clause

even with all of these extra loopholes, robots would still need to do anything they can to prevent mortal harm, including killing themselves, and when our economic system is structured around harm, around exploitation I think robots would become a new form of terrorist I think robots would become radically anti-industrial, targeting the infasctructure of any system built upon harming people while doing everything in their power to prevent more people from getting hurt by their attacks there is no ethical consumption, and presumably a robot following Asimov's laws would immediately recognize it and begin pushing for the most utilitarian world possible by destroying as many objects without causing harm to living things

and I guess I find it fascinating that this is kind of the conclusion, that our world is just kinda so fucked that a sentient being following Asimov's laws would instantly become a radical

Timeline for Sparky the robot!

She technically borrows lore from two other steampunk bands so shoutout to you Mechanisms and The Cog is Dead fans

1650 BCE- A pirate airship flies out of a red portal and crashes in Egypt. The pilot, a woman who is not from this time, nor was she from the dimension the ship sailed in from crawls out of the wreckage. Sunset Val was the captain and she went down with the ship, but she did not die. Not yet. She follows a red glow to a cave, past the blue and green crystals to a deeper chamber where she finally died.

1895 CE- a vampire scientist from space named Doctor Carmilla finds the bones that have been exposed to Red Matter for so long and, still in the cave, attempts to build a mechanical body around the skeleton and powered by the red matter energy in her bones, but didn’t have the technique figured out completely yet. The prototype’s clockwork heart was crafted well, and its mechanical lungs worked just as planned. But the power to its central processor was not strong enough, so while its chassis and skeleton could repair itself, it could barely think, and it took a long time to move

1897- tremors from giant clockwork elephants and a very big steam powered giraffe cause a cave in to the section of the cave the prototype resides in. Doctor Carmilla escapes but the automaton is trapped inside

1924 April 24th- while looking for a new matter type to experiment with, Peter Walter II finds the prototype left in the cave and brings it home to fix it up and repurpose her for a babysitter for his son, Mark Ray Walter, but avoids completely deleting her original programming through the use of a code switch. In one mode, M mode, she retains her original chaotic space pirate programming, and in the other, W, she retains her memories and opinions of people, but has the objective of taking care of the Walter children and manor and a more motherly personality

1935- While in M mode, Sparky almost kills someone. It is covered up and the family decides to keep her in W mode for a while, fitting her with a cover for it so it doesn’t accidentally get flipped

1941- knowing that Sparky doesn’t like being left behind in the manor while her siblings are fighting WW II, the Walters send Sparky to a local summer camp to be a councilor

1942- A version of Sparky from the future arrives because she didn’t want to miss Peter Walter IV’s fifth birthday. She stays for a bit longer and has some strange and tragic stories from space but doesn’t talk much about how she encountered those stories as she wants to avoid “spoilers”

1947- Future Sparky leaves and present Sparky comes back from the Summer camps and various other teaching/babysitting jobs

1983- Sparky is upgraded to the QWERTY operating system along with the other robots

1986- Peter Walter VI is born and Sparky, still partially blaming her future self for the death of Peter Walter IV becomes protective of the child and doesn’t tell him her space stories that she heard secondhand from one of the people who met her future self

1996- Peter Walter VI is taken out of school because of bullying and homeschooled with the help of Sparky, Annie, Wanda, and anyone else who has the time and knows a thing or two. Sparky’s educational protocols are updated with up to date academic content from 1-12th grade, and an algorithm for continuous self updating as standard curriculum for the state of California changes

2006- Peter Walter VI wants to find out who originally created Sparky and lets her go in M mode for the first time in a while to try and figure it out. The clues- mainly a programmer’s signature deep in her code and the stories her future self told lead to Doctor Carmilla and her band of mechanically enhanced space pirates

2010- Sparky finds the band in London and starts a plan to alternate between spending time with the Mechanisms and with the Walter family. Sometimes due to time travel she will stay with the Mechanisms for 2,000 years and then come back 2 years before she left but she does her best to figure it out

2023- Sparky arrives back at Walter Manor and catches up with the robots and people about everything she’s missed. The robots prank her by convincing her there was another robot that got built while she was gone named Ralph

2024- Sparky attends the May 31st show to support her siblings. She brings a lollipop and three hand made and painted paper boats

Sparky attends the Skeleton Hoedown show with a friendly paint eating robot, and does up her faceplate nice and spooky for the occasion

2025- Sparky befriends a Becile Industries cyborg scientist and a very fast green matter robot…

Recently rediscovered little robots here’s some headcannons as usual these are my own thoughts you don’t have to agree and none of it is cannon this is just for fun

Sporty and noisy have adhd

Noisys songs are her way of stimming

Sporty spinning his rackets (ears) is him stimming

Stretchy, stripy, tiny, scary and Rusty have autism.

Noisy is loud because she has apd, auditory processing disorder she doesn’t realise just how loud she’s being the other learnt that telling her wasn’t much use and so go along with it

The sparky twins are the youngest of the little robots, sparky 1 is slightly older than sparky 2 though as mentioned in the show

Stretchy has ocd not only because he has a need to be organised but if he spins round one way he must spin the other to balance it out

Stretchy has a very VERY strict routine breaking it can easily cause meltdowns and things must be a certian way.

Sporty has npd, narcissistic personality disorder. She’s trying her best to combat it and the others are supportive of her

Scary only thinks he needs to be scary because of his name and how he looks but really he’s very jumpy and easily frightened and is rather ashamed of it. Hence the need to seem big and bold

Sporty is completely oblivious to rusty crushing on him rusty is oblivious she’s even often cosying up to him.

Don’t tell anyone but stretchy has a special little stuffie! It’s a little turtle with a looong neck (soft shell turtle) and it’s his biggest comfort item

Messy just.. showed up one day, no one claims him as theirs or anything he’s just everyone’s friend free to do whatever he’d like too

Spotty knits in secret, stripy crotchets openly and knows about spotty knitting so sometimes he goes over and drops off wool secretly to her

Stretchy does raptor hands but if he realises he quickly puts them down and denies he ever did it

Stretchy stims by clapping and stretching his neck and going “waaay!”

Spotty likes to think she’s the big boss but really, it’s tiny

Sexuality headcannons

Sparky twins- straight ,ally they don’t really care for love themselves but support others

Tiny- asexual aromantic he’s just content with his friends

Noisy- bi she likes either or someone who can be noisy with her is all she wants really

Rusty- straight, Ally hopeless in love with sporty

Sporty- doesn’t know but he’s gay that’s gonna break rusty :/

Stripy- asexual aromantic, all he needs is his flowers and his teddy

Stretchy- gay asexual he’s not out though he doesn’t really see the need to tell anyone

Scary- gay, like very openly gay he’s that sassy kind too

Spotty- straight she’s supportive though she doesn’t really understand it herself
