▼北陸放送・MROラジオ・・・だからさぁ、変更点はちゃんと言いなよ
MRO公式の案内ページが1月途中からリンク切れ（1月31日現在）。で、総務省のページによると
申請時は4月1日から9月30日までを予定していたが、能登半島地震の影響により延期されたもの。復興の状況により、さらに変更される可能性もある。
とのこと。地震報道でてんてこ舞いなのは想像に難くないけども・・・いやそんな詮索はいくらなんでもラジオ局を下に見過ぎか。MROの口からちゃんと「延期しました」と言ってくれよ。
（結局この表を貼るんなら上のまとめいらんくない？w）
なお、福岡2局（RKB、KBC）の終了予定日も変更されてますが、まぁ終了予定日はあってないようなものなのでどっちでもいいや。まとめ表内、更新済み。

KOKIA updates - November 25 to December 31, 2024
Below follows a summary of KOKIA’s activities for the last part of 2024 I haven't covered: November 25 to December 31, 2024. Another post will follow for January 2025 (including some news entries made in 2024, but promoting 2025 events). For now, this will remain the style of updates of this blog for the foreseeable future - please read this post for a further explanation, and thank you in advance for your continued patience and support.
Performances
KOKIA had one more concert for 2024 scheduled, at the Gloria Chapel of Shinagawa Church (which she discusses in her blog entry of November 26): December 2 marks an early Christmas with her concert Love and Peace and Music (Ai to Heiwa to Ongaku to), hot on the heels of her new best of album essence. For the signing session, she had been prepping Christmas themed papers in advance (as she ran out of signing time during her tour). She didn't really cover the performance on her website afterwards, but she did post photos on Instagram, thanking her audience for their warm reception and looking forward to the new year.
Promotional events
KOKIA has done quite some radio appearances at the tail end of 2024.
She performed twice on November 27: (news entry of November 25) : ONE FINE DAY at Kyoto α-Station, and Kiss Music Presenter at KISS FM.
This was followed up by two more on November 28 (second news entry of November 25): bre:eze at Tokai Radio, and evening news radio at 5 (Yuukan goji radi).
More followed in December (news entry of December 2): JOY-U CLUB at FM Kagawa on December 6;
#tap at FM Okayama on December 12;
Special morning issue (Gozen samasama zoukangou) at RCC Radio on December 15;
THE MAGNIFICENT FRIDAY at FM COCOLO on December 20.
Finally, in her news entry of December 11, she announced a guest appearance at OVER VIEW at ZIP-FM on December 18.
Her appearances were also covered on Twitter by the various companies: photos below via Victor Entertainment for Tokai Radio, bre:eze, and ZIP FM OVER VIEW.
On December 17 (news entry of December 17) an interview with Chunichi Shimbun evening newspaper was released, also available as a 20 minute video at their official YouTube channel. The interview talks about her unchanging musicianship throughout her 25 year long career. They also released a short article here.
Other
As KOKIA's album essence - 25th Anniversary All Time Best - is still a recent release, she uploaded a generous 3 minute long trailer for the album on her official YouTube channel on December 19. Featured are the songs that have promotional videos, which are included in the bonus Blu-ray of the limited edition.

It marks the beginning of the timeline of Godzilla, who was awakened by the power of the hydrogen bomb. good, free/cheap (aka subsidized) public transportation systems are just *chef's kiss* mwah so fucking good. disabled? public transportation. poor? public transportation. wanna cut down on personal emissions*? public transportation. need to go for a ride to clear your head? public transportation. bored as a person without a license? hop on a bus or train, baby. visit the city and check out that little ice cream shop you were curious about. take a train out to a rural area and find a nice little spot to sit. hop on the bus and go see your grandma, idk.
the possibilities are literally endless.
*disclaimer ik that personal emissions are high-key bullshit unless you're a celebrity (*cough* taylor swift *cough*) but this is in an ideal hypothetical world where public transportation is subsidized and far-reaching so we can pretend that in this world something like that can make a significant difference. let me be.

東海ラジオからのお知らせ
東海ラジオ放送では2024年7月1日以降、複数のAM中継局の運用を長期にわたり休止いたします。この措置は、総務省が示したAMラジオ局の将来における持続可能な運営を目指すための全国的な「FM転換」への参加を前提としたものです。当社をはじめとした国内の民放AMラジオ44局はこの指針に賛同し、2028年秋までにFMラジオ局に転換し、それぞれの地区にあった方法で従来のサービスエリアを最大限に維持していきます。
※運用休止中に災害等が発生した場合、当該AM中継局の運用再開を行いますが、放送再開には一定の時間を要することを予めご承知おきください。 ※いずれのAM中継局も運用休止期間を延長することがあり、最終的には廃止する可能性があります。
先月はなかったお知らせサイトオープン。補助金やら申請受付やらで、豊橋に中継局が出来そうなのも把握。これでやっと他局並みの見通しにはなった・・・かなぁ。うーん、岐阜・三重が。。。
近年、民間ラジオ放送を取り巻く経済的環境が大変厳しい状況となりつつあり、設備維持等に大きなコストが必要となるAM放送ではなくFM放送を主体とした放送局を目指すことにより、みなさまにより良い番組を安定的にお届けできると判断しました。

KOKIA in flashback - 2004
We move into an Olympic year: 2004. With the country getting excited for the Olympic Games in Athens, KOKIA gets to perform the official support song for the Japanese delegation: Yume ga chikara ('dreams are strength'). KOKIA composes the song and the arrangement is done by composer Akira Senju, a collaboration outside the J-pop world.
Her other single this year, so much love for you♡, gets a spring live tour, attendance decided by lottery among people who bought the single. Both singles end up on her new album Uta ga chikara ('songs are strength'), marking the third year in a row KOKIA releases a full album.
In the spirit of the Olympic motto of 'faster, higher, stronger', KOKIA adds 'longer' in a long tone challenge on TV, showing off her opera roots.
