i dreamed i was reading a dsmp fic and im kind of mad it doesnt exist because it was fire. it was a modern au where cdream and ctommy become roommates, and the fic was kind of centered around watching movies? like, tommy had all these movies he wanted to watch together, but cdream started breaking all his shit including the movie discs (they were blu-ray yknow) and eventually it gets bad enough that tommy reaches out to techno for help. idk their relationship exactly but techno had blocked tommy on like every social media for the crime of being extremely annoying. so since he cant message him anywhere else tommy contacts him through letterboxd?? and starts annoying him again but through context clues techno picks up on the fact that something is wrong and goes to help him. that was about where the fic ended. the whole thing was really funny and in character i miss it already

Im adding the term "conventionally attractive" to the banned words list right up their with queer baiting. To the people saying date everything only has conventionally attractive characters i dare you to walk up to someone with coily hair and tell them they are treated as if their hair is conventionally attractive. Go walk up to a fat person and tell them they face no social pressure to lose weight cause its conventional to be fat. Go walk up to someone with a very dark skin tone and say colorism dosent effect them. Go tell a woman with a square jaw and sharp features thats shes treated equally as well as a woman with small soft features. Go tell someone with a thick accent it dosent affect how people see them at all. Tell people with big noses they never get any shit for it. And i really hope all of them punch you in the face. Social conventions of attraction are based in facist rhetoric that has nothing to do with your own personal opinion on someones appearance.

Also i know most of you havent played the game and have only seen a few of the popular charcters in the tags which. Is stupid cause this game has a fuck ton of characters. 102 specifically. And to say everyone of them is conventionally attractive is ethier jumping on the haters wagon in bad faith or you dont understand the facist factors that play into what is "conventional"

Xie Lian is not demeaning himself when he calls himself a scrap collector because that's what he is. And Xie Lian does not think that a king or a god is any more worthy than a beggar. Xie Lian struggled to adapt to life when he lost his status as a prince, but it was a busker who refuses to harm him for him own benefit and it was a farmer who gave him the bamboo hat even when they were imperfect people who has previously given him trouble because they were caught in his own troubles. Xie Lian enjoys scrap collecting in a way he doesn't being a god. When Xie Lian says there's no difference between being a god of wealth or a god of scraps he means it. Xie Lian has no problem squatting or doing tasks that would be beneath a god like farming. Xie Lian simply Does Not Care about prestige, which sets him apart from all the other gods (except Yushi Huang) and especially Jun Wu. Xie Lian rejects the titles of god of misfortune and god of plague, but he proudly calls himself a god of scraps. Gods are still human, ghosts are still human, a scrap collector is still a human.

I sent a firm email to ActBlue last week demanding they remove my phone number from their databases.
