✸ FRAGMENTED - a visual attempt to stop forgetting everything

✸ I realized that the technology age has fragmented our memory and experiences. Every moment has a sense of value, meaning, and purpose in our lives. Whether it be thoughts, photos, songs, quotes, dreams, etc- they all have a place in our world. Even ones that we don’t deem significant at the time, affect and enrich how we interact with the world. Paying attention to otherwise minuet details in our lives fills our life, with not even purpose, but with more love and appreciation.

So I decided to give myself a new life project: “collaging”! The purpose of these collages is to explore, engage, and appreciate everyday life. A fusion of digital and analog, featuring finds throughout the week including: quotes, photos/video, scans, ephemera, music finds, rants/tangents, favorite memories, etc. Working on personal development by placing full aesthetic freedom that can be directly inspired by a artist/style or personally manifested. And adding a new tool by incorporate 1+ new design tutorial per week. All of these will be shared on my blog. This is I’m pretty sick of how IG has evolved into an algorithmic nightmare.

Es wurde 2021 aufgenommen, in einer Zeit, die für viele von uns leiser war als gewohnt. Vielleicht war es deshalb auch das leiseste Album, das ich je gemacht habe. Die Tracks entstanden ohne Eile, oft nachts, mit dem Gefühl, dass niemand zuhört – und dass das völlig okay ist. Es ist Musik zum Verschwinden, zum Atmen, zum Aushalten und Entgleiten. Flächen, Texturen, schlichte Melodien. Die Beats sind da, aber sie wissen, wann sie schweigen müssen. Ein bisschen Jean-Michel Jarre, ein Hauch Autechre – nicht in der Technik, sondern im Geist: Maschinen, die träumen dürfen. Ich habe lange gezögert, dieses Album zu veröffentlichen. Jetzt ist es da. 🇬🇧 After White Smoke – My Beloved Alien (Full Album | 2021 Recording) "My Beloved Alien" is an album that stayed in the shadows for a long time. It was recorded in 2021, during a time when the world itself felt a little quieter. Maybe that’s why it became the most subdued music I’ve ever made. These tracks were created without pressure, mostly at night, carrying a sense that no one was listening – and that it was perfectly okay. This is music for disappearing, for breathing, for drifting and enduring. Textures, space, restrained rhythm, subtle melodies. The beats are present, but they know when to keep silent. There’s a touch of early Jean-Michel Jarre here, a distant echo of Autechre – not in technique, but in spirit: machines that are allowed to dream. I hesitated a long time before releasing this album. Now it’s here. I’m glad it wasn’t lost.
