You were sick.

Like very sick.

You had been for a while and you really thought it would just go away after some time and with a few cups of good tea. However it was just one of those times where it didn’t and it lead to where you were now.

Flopped on the couch after a long days of work so sick, tired and weak to the point you didn’t even take off your shoes, let alone take a shower.

You knew you should’ve taken the day off and even more so you should’ve informed your lovely 8 boyfriends of your condition. However it was so busy for not only you but your boys this time of year. Your job really needed you around and the boys had to be on their A game.

Not like they weren’t always were. Those boys are so admirable when it comes to their work ethic and determination. It’s one of the things you love about them. It’s just this time of year is when they really have NO room to slack off. So you didn’t have the heart to tell them.

You barely see them around anyway, as they come home late and you leave early. You couldn’t bare the thought of them having to deal with you when they’re already so busy with work, no doubt dealing with so much pressure and stress. Even though deep down you knew they wouldn’t care and would drop anything to make sure you’re okay.

‘Cause you would do the exact same thing.

About an hour after you practically passed out on the couch, Yunho and San arrived home.

Thankfully they were able to get all the work they needed to get done super quick today, so they got home much earlier than usual. As they walked into the living room thats when Yunho spotted you.

He chuckled at how cutely you looked and then pointed you out to San who awed at you. They thought you just got home too and decided to close your eyes for a bit.

“Princess we’re home.” Yunho called sweetly.

“Come on now silly butt, get up so we can shower together.” San said with a big smile at the thought of relaxing under the shower with his lovers.

However you didn’t respond.

They both pouted and furrowed their eyebrows as they got closer. You were asleep? That’s quite unlike you. They knew how much you love a refreshing shower after work then to change into one of their hoodies. Were you that tired?

“..sweetheart?” Yunho said as he crouched down next to the couch. He softly moved your hair out of your face to check up on you.

Just from that very soft touch alone he was able to tell how hot your skin was. His eyes widened and as he looked at San with worry.

“Baby you’re sick??” He asked surprised as he looked back at you wondering how he and the rest had no idea.

“What?” San questioned softly as he crouched next to Yunho.

He then places the back of his hand properly on your forehead. His eyes also then widened with worry as there was no denying it.

You were incredibly sick.

Their hearts clenched at how they truly had no clue how sick you were, how much you needed them and how you didn’t tell them..

Seonghwa: what why? What’s the matter?

San: Princess is sick. She has such a high fever and from the sound of her breathing her nose is stuffed. She’s literally passed out on the couch rn and god knows what other sicknesses she’s having.

Wooyoung: WHAT?! She didn’t tell us anything! 🥺

Yunho: I know and at this point that doesn’t matter rn. She needs us. Hurry.

After they sent the texts to the rest of them they quickly got to work.

As Yunho picked you up softly and carried you to bed, San prepared a small basin filled with cold water and some towels. As Yunho was undressing you, San brought in the basin and they both started cleaning you as softly as they could.

Truly not long after they started, they heard the front door open and peeked in Jongho, Seonghwa and Wooyoung.

“How bad is it..?” Jongho asked as he softly entered the room with the rest.

“..bad..” Yunho muttered.

Seonghwa then carefully approached you and placed his hand on your forehead too and almost gasped.

“She’s burning up.. Oh God our poor princess..” he said as he softly ran his hand through your hair.

Wooyoung then approached Yunho with a hoodie from their closet and your shorts.

“Thank you love.” Yunho said softly as he gave Wooyoung a kiss on the head and started dressing you as soon as San was sure you were dry.

“Seonghwa hyung and I are gonna go make her some soup. Yeosang is already on his way home, Hongjoong hyung and Mingi are going as fast as they can to finish recording. They’ll be home soon..” He mumbled to the two who arrived home first.

“Okay.. I’ll go help you cook too, you two will watch over her?” San asked

“Yeah of course.” Jongho confirmed as he sat down next to you and softly stroked your hair.

Yunho then nodded as he gave wooyoung another kiss and sent him on his way.

“You’ve eaten Yunho?” Seonghwa asked.

“Uh.. no not yet hyung. We got take out but we haven’t eaten it yet...” Yunho explained as his eyes trailed back down to you.

“Hmm alright.. I’ll make Sannie eat then once he’s done you can eat and San will watch over.” Seonghwa said as he reached over to grab his hand.

“Alright hyung.. thank you..”

“Of course.”

With that he gave yunho’s hand a comforting squeeze then gave jongho a sweet pat on the head before leaving to join the others in the kitchen.

“Could she really not tell us she was this sick..?” Jongho asked softly still stroking your hair.

“I.. don’t know.. we’ll ask her when she’s awake and feeling better.” Yunho replied as he sat down on the bed as well softly holding your hand.

As they continued to watch over you, after a while they heard the front door open and some muttering. Soon the door to the room opened again revealing Yeosang.

“No.. we should just let her rest before we wake her up to eat.” Jongho replied.

“Hmm. I bought some medicine on my way home.. Hopefully they’re enough.. if not we can take her to a doctor…” Yeosang informs the two boys as he placed the medicine on a nearby table.

“Thank you Sangie..” Yunho said before continuing to ask if the soup is ready. And right on cue, Wooyoung popped his head in again.

“Soups ready. And yunho baby, Hyung wants you to eat now.” He said.

The lovers in the room then nodded.

As softly as he possibly could, Yunho began to wake you up.

“Princess.. princess.. wake up please..? We need you to eat and take some medicine…” He said oh so softly with some extra soft shakes.

“Baby..? Baaaabbyy..” Yeosang also called out to you.

Your eyes soon started to flutter open as you take in your surroundings. You however closed them again quickly as the headache in your head began.

“Ugh..” you groaned

“Oh baby what is it..? Your head hurts..?” Jongho who was still stroking your hair asked.

You could only nod.

“Honey bun.. do you think you can get up..? You need to eat..” Wooyoung asked

Slowly you opened your eyes again and finally realized your sweet boyfriends were home.

“Wait.. you guys are home? So early..” You muttered, voice so hoarse it made everyone frown.

“Yes we are sweetie.. we’ll talk about that later.. now we should get some yummy food in that belly okay..? Do you think you can get up..?” Yunho replied then asked.

Your head was still pounding and as much as you wanted to try, you knew its best to just stay, so you softly shook your head.

“Okay I’ll tell hyung, come Yunho you still need to eat.” Wooyoung then said as he retreated back to the kitchen.

Yunho didn’t really have an appetite after seeing how sick you were and he wanted nothing more than to just stay and make sure you’re okay. However he knows his boyfriends and even you will scold him if he doesn’t eat. So with that he gave you a soft kiss on the forehead and got up to go eat.

“I’ll be right back okay..? Jongie and Sangie will be right here.. Eat well darling.” He said to you before leaving.

You could only nod back before looking back at your boyfriends.

“When did you guys get home..?” You asked

“Yunho hyung and San hyung got home first and found you.. told us and then I, Wooyoung hyung and Seonghwa hyung quickly got home after that. They just finished cooking your soup.” Jongho explained.

“Hmm I just got home, and I’m pretty sure Mingi and Hongjoong hyung will be home any minute.” Yeosang added.

You then hummed before Seonghwa and San came into the room carrying a tray of a big bowl of soup and some of your favorite tea.

“Hi our darling..” Seonghwa greets you as San puts down the tray in your lap softly.

You weakly smiled at them and began to open your mouth to greet them however Yeosang cut you off.

“Shhh.. don’t talk to much pumpkin.. your voice sounds so hoarse… your throat must be very scratchy and painful hmm..?”

With a soft sigh you nodded.

“Okay then.. lets get some food in you okay? Can I feed you?” San asked

You made some gestures indicating that you could do it yourself however they weren’t having it.

“Let us take care of you. You’re extremely sick okay? Your pouting game will not work tonight honey.” Jongho said

Of course you were outnumbered so you just sighed and opened your mouth to let San feed you as the rest began preparing your medicine.

Once your bowl of soup was almost empty, the front door was opened and the footsteps of the last two can be heard. Said two as quickly as they entered the house, quickly entered your room guilt, concern and sadness evident in their faces.

Wordlessly you took the medicine and drank some of your tea.

Soon the last two that were missing from your bedroom entered again and were pleased to see you finished your food as well. Now all of your boyfriends were here and sitting somewhere in your bedroom.

“Sweetheart..” Seonghwa started as he sat beside you holding your hand. “Why didn’t you tell us you weren’t feeling so well..? You’re so sick.. this must’ve been going on for a while… and none of us had a clue?”

You took a deep breath before carefully replying, being mindful of your throat. “We were so busy… I.. didn’t want to distract you… a-and I thought It’d get better on its own..”

“You still should’ve told us princess.. you know we would’ve taken some time off to help you get better… and you should’ve taken time off yourself.” Yunho chimed in.

“I didn’t think you could afford to spare some time… and my job needed me..” You pouted looking down playing with seonghwa’s fingers.

“Darling… you hurt us… do you not know we’d stop time for you if we could? You know we literally would do anything for you… We 100% would’ve figured out a way to make sure our work still gets done and be able to take care of you… like we always do. I’m sure you know that..” Mingi said.

You looked up at him to see nothing but sincerity in his eyes. As you looked around, you see sincerity in all their eyes.

“I do… I just.. I don’t know… I just really didn’t want to be a bother. I don’t want you guys to be more stressed than you already are and if I caused you guys to fall behind th-“ You were cut off by Wooyoung shushing you.

“Nope. No. You would never be the reason for that. We would never blame you and you know we would reprimand anyone who thinks that. Sweetheart. You’re our precious girlfriend… you would never be a bother to us.” Wooyoung said full of reassurance.

“Baby… We understand. You wanted us to do well and you were worried for us and wouldn’t want to add more stress or something. However like everyone here has said. You’re no burden. No trouble. And especially no bother. We love you and want you healthy and happy alright?” Hongjoong said as he stroked your hair.

You all looked at them and softly nodded. Heart filled with love and you give them a smile that they find so precious.

“Alright. Now please promise us you’ll tell us if you’re sick? Even if it’s just the tiniest cough or sneeze, you’ll still let us know? And yes we’ll promise to do the same.” Seonghwa asked.

“Promise. Now all of you cuddle me to sleep please?” You said with a pout and arms out.

Everyone then let out a soft chuckle and nodded.

With that, they got to work to cleaning up your dishes as San scooped you up and carried you to the master bedroom where that room is specifically for big cuddle sessions. and other stuff 👀

San tucked you in as he got in beside you. Soon enough loud footsteps can be heard as a couple of them (Wooyoung, Yunho, Mingi and Seonghwa) were racing to be on the other side of you. Which ended up going to Jongho as he slipped in while the others were still fighting by the door.

Eventually all of them got into a comfortable position.

“I love you all so much.” You mumbled softly into the darkness.

“We love you too our love.” Mingi said softly.

“Get some rest.” Said Yeosang.

“Tomorrow we’ll make you an even better soup!” Wooyoung then exclaimed loudly.

“Sleeeeppp!” Jongho groaned.

With that you all kinda giggled with each other a little bit longer than you would like. Making sleep not as easy but you all really wouldn’t have it any other way.

Hi! Hope you’re doing ok!

Anyway, I thought of a cute romantic prompt for movie!Sonic, Shadow, and Knuckles, if you do the movie-verse, that is. We know that they’re the only ones who give off chaos energy (that we know of) and it’s especially tied to their emotions. It makes me think of them getting flustered by their crush/partner to the point they shoot out sparks of chaos energy and some sort of shenanigans ensue.

Damn. It actually makes me wonder if that’s why movie!Shadow is so stoic. He probably doesn’t want to hurt people by accident and tries his hardest to keep his emotions in check. The poor baby 🥺.

He goes all out on trying to impress you with his tricks, cool adventures and badass speed.

It ends with a big ol fail, but you find it entertaining at least.

During the events of the 2nd movie when he first turned Super, you were mesmerised by the sight.

Soon as he was still himself, you hugged him tightly, grateful that he was okay.

Sonic feeling his face flush red, got to excited as he hugged you back, he accidentally caused a spark between you two.

Shocking you a bit.

Sonic was scared and apologised quickly but you laughed it off, he sighed of relieved.

He think this was the start of something beautiful.

And deep down, you were ready for it too.

Movie!Knuckles The Echidna

Knuckles has met you after the events of the second movie.

This was the first time Knuckles ever felt romantic feelings.

First he felt very confused, so he went to Sonic.

Sonic who teases Knuckles for his crush on you which Knuckles, of course, doesn’t understand.

”What do you mean I have a crush on Y/N? I don’t want to crush them, they will be deceased by my strength.”

”No no knucklehead, it means you have romantic feelings for them.”

”I don’t get what you mean hedgehog.”

”Ugh… it means you love them in a way Maddie and Tom love each other, like lovers.”

”Ah, so I see.”

After that, he awkwardly tries to make conversation and give subtle hints of his love towards you, you think this is just him trying to get to know more about earth.

Which is partially true in a way.

When he does show you his super form, you are in love with how he glows.

As you two start doing silly shenanigans whiles in his super form.

When he gets way too excited he accidentally sparks you it knocked you back down.

This worried Knuckles a lot as he runs up and checks on you.

But he just finds you laughing at this, saying how cool and badass he looks.

Knuckles face begins to feel red but still stands tall and confident.

He can get use to your cute and funny laughter.

Movie!Shadow The Hedgehog

Shadow met you after the events of the third movie and joined the Wachowski family.

You were intrigued by his nature while so was he with you.

You reminded him a lot like Maria with your kindness.

Like her, you never saw him as a freak and was always comforting him whenever he had his upsetting moments.

This caused Shadow to gain some romantic feelings for you.

But he has no idea what any of this means or is which frustrates and confuses him.

He goes to ask Sonic what this is.

Like Knuckles, doesn’t get the gist but understands more since he felt love with Maria (platonic love though).

”Ooh looks like someone has a crush on Y/NNN~”

”Crush? Why would I want to crush them? I would knock them out in one go, I don’t want to do that.”

”No dude, it means you feel loving feelings for her, you know Maria? It’s like that but in Tom and Maddie’s way, you feel what Tom feels about Maddie.”

He took this information and started working on getting to know you more.

This confused you since you knew Shadow wasn’t the type to make connections.

Not after his best friend and eldest sister’s death.

But this made you happy knowing he was trying his best.

Soon as he revealed his Super form, you were amazed by it and was telling Shadow how cool and amazing he looked.

Shadow smiled at this.

Soon as he got a bit excited, sparks came out of him hitting you.

This immediately worried Shadow but faded away after hearing your laughter.

Saying that felt funny and tickled a bit, still complimenting him how badass he looks.

This made Shadow smile even more.

He was going to love this, as much as he didn’t admit it.

(jealous/protective) Sabo, Marco & Law x gn!reader

‘Don’t worry (y/n), i’m not a jealous man; i mean, what comes first is your individual freedom. me and my feelings don’t have to interfere in your life.’

HAHAHAHAHA bro. like. for real. – our sweet Sabo is the jealous type. BUT somehow he’s like Zoro, he just can’t help, despite his ‘motto’ which would rest upon giving you space, trusting you because you’re an adult capable of assuming your actions, your behavior and its consequences. Sabo wants you to feel, to be free. etc etc... but that doesn’t prevent him from being jealous. and he knows it lol

he’ll rather be the type to strongly repress his jealousy though. Because our revolutionary with a top hat knows that he too has many social interactions that could make you jealous, and he doesn’t want to make your relationship unfair by preventing you from doing the same. He knows he has no right to monitor your life or anything similar.

Sabo bottling up his jealousy would result in very specific (and rather either cute...or scary. no in-between) facial expressions as well as gestures, betraying his state.

With an upset expression, Sabo watches you talk to this person you just met, and he’s surprised that you’re able to ignore him like that, like, so easily – unless it’s his own imagination? no, it’s not, right? but... you can’t forget him so quickly, right? … right? He watches you chat, trying to keep the courteous smile he likes to display; while giving your interlocutor a severe (to say the least) sidelong look. but now… now, it’s getting too long for him. He moves away a little to slump on the nearest seat, never taking his eyes off you. he frowns slightly and, pouty as he drums his fingers in frustration, he broods over this jealousy that he cannot let be exposed, at the risk of betraying this promise of fairness he made. to compensate, his mind blurts out his bad faith.

‘how the hell can (y/n) find this person interesting? Everything they say is so very commonplace…’

Sabo hates when he’s like this. But he also hates your interlocutor, who makes (him) a definitely (very) bad impression. There’s something wrong with this person. But the blond tries to be reasonable, yes, no doubt that his jealousy distorts his judgment. If you talk to this individual, it's probably because they’re not as horrible as he thinks, right?... yeah, yeah. Pfuh. bitter, Sabo wouldn't go so far as to call this person ‘interesting’ either.

he has so little free time, and when he can spend time with you, you choose someone else. Now looking more sad than angry, Sabo narrows his eyes, then looks up again at that damn disruptive element you’re talking to.

even if he’s the type to know how to keep his cool, Sabo can be quite impulsive when it comes to his s/o. Thus, if at some point he’s really fed up, i don’t think he’d leave, i rather think he could come back to you and your interlocutor quite abruptly, to bring you closer to him, so that you stop ignoring him.

he takes big, determined steps, walking straight towards you and already knowing that he won’t tolerate any concessions. he's here to be with you, and wouldn't let anyone hinder his goals, obstruct his way, or whatever. Sabo’s gait speaks louder than all the explanations existing, and he quickly takes back his place by your side, not failing to give the same acerbic look at whoever seems to present themselves as a rival.

“Who do you think you are for y/n?”, Sabo’s gaze shouts. His own morality asks the same question, but to himself. “Who do i think i am to act this way?”. Sabo will probably hate himself, later, for having stepped in, but for now, he doesn’t care.

if the person touches you; lmao it's over. But there’s an even worse thing, it’s this expression of discomfort which gradually takes place on your face, signaling to the blond that you’re not necessarily completely okay facing this interlocutor starting to get physically comfortable with you. everything connects in Sabo's mind; and he understands that he has probably been blinded by his jealousy. weren't you just, so far, being polite to the person, and not ignoring your favorite revolutionary?

a miffed sigh crosses the barrier of Sabo's lips, who not only regrets his jealousy which, as always, carries him away, in countries where all the judgements are rather wrong;... but he also regrets this impoliteness of your interlocutor – which he is determined to put an end to.

Sabo cocks an accusing eyebrow as he stares with irritation at this decidedly annoying person. He readjusts his gloves, before gently placing his hand on their chest, exerting a slight pressure so as to push this individual away from you.

‘Can’t you see that you make (y/n) uncomfortable? We’d have hoped for a little more insight from you. Anyway… I strongly advise you to leave, before I get angry.’

the blond has moved forward a little, placing himself in front of you without hiding you completely, his first desire remaining to make sure that you enjoy your individual freedom; as he often tells you. to not hinder your movements. to let you express yourself. admittedly. but it should always be so. these are basic freedoms, and Sabo will never let anyone get too comfortable with you at first sight, as if they were getting the upper hand over you by imposing that inappropriate touch… right?

it’s hard to stand up to the piercing gaze of the revolutionary, it contains both the expression of this jealousy repressed until then, but also all the love he has for you, the strength of his convictions, including that of protecting you. to be the gentleman you need, or at least to be there for you. that’s all. that’s good.

Guilt slowly rises though, and Sabo’s a bit annoyed with himself about feeling this kind of latent satisfaction in getting this person out of your way. But it seemed like the best solution, judging by the overall situation and the discomfort it was causing you. Visibly, well-advised is the person, because they don’t really insist, facing the revolutionary with a top hat. They’re not interested in an argument, shrugging as they walk away. Sabo turns to you, and you both look confused. The little moment of guilty satisfaction that had been Sabo's (namely, when he chased away that annoying interlocutor) has soon faded, and now the words seem to be struggling to overcome the barrier of your respective lips.

tbh i sincerely wondered whether Marco was a jealous man or not.

i think that, deep down, everyone has a small part of jealousy in themselves, but that the difference lies in the fact that we manage to control it with more or less ease. From then on, i believe that Marco has “mastered” his jealousy well, like he’s quite at peace with it.

i mean, especially if it's people he knows. Marco observes (from afar) and rationalizes things. Just because you talk to this or that member of the crew (or any other crew, btw), doesn't mean you're necessarily going to abandon him, or that something bad is going to happen to you.

yeah, Marco definitely prefers to be reasonable and to keep reading. You’re free to do whatever you want, he's the one you love anyway. And you’re the one he loves! So his face keeps that peaceful smile that makes you melt.

'Hope you had a nice time chatting with the crew, (y/n).'

actually it might sound confusing for you – does Marco really care about you? He never really seeks your attention (at least not in as flashy a way as his crewmates). He never seems bothered by you talking to other people who might be… well… his… “rivals”? It’s troubling.

but oh, your presence is the only thing that can drag Marco's eyes away from his book. and above all, when this very presence is accompanied by another – unknown – soul.

it takes him a little longer to stifle his slight jealousy, because it’s difficult to fight this discomfort in front of this person who could create turmoil in your relationship, so dear to the phoenix. But Marco tries to stay true to his rule, you know, rationalization, in order to respect your own freedom.

this person here seems so confident and proud of themselves, standing in front of you and showing off as if Marco doesn't exist - while he's sitting right next to you and the relationship between you and him is anything but ambiguous. But he still tries to rationalize — there's no point in getting carried away.

however, Marco understands that this interaction needs to end as soon as he notices your reaction: you're not exactly rejecting this person, but you're not accepting them either. The signals are unclear, mixed, a little confused — you look uncomfortable, embarrassed, maybe more, and Marco doesn't like that. Not at all.

your moods, emotions, likes and dislikes — all of this holds no secrets for Marco. As your lover, it's only natural for him to pay attention to you, to get to know you, and Marco strives to do this every day with the precision of a doctor. And today, the symptoms don't bode well, so Marco decides to step in.

'Are you okay?'

the question is simple, the tone is calm, and he means what he says. He checks up on you, makes a diagnosis of the situation. He would then turn to the person and ask them the same thing, but with a very different perspective in terms of meaning.

Marco doesn't need to get angry, threaten, or make a big speech. Just his look can let the person know that it would be in their best interest to avoid making you feel too uncomfortable.

this very person understood it very quickly, and didn't push their luck. Marco watches them leave without any real expression showing on his face, before wrapping an arm around your shoulders and pulling you back towards him.

his expression is soft and his touch feather light as he rests his gaze on you, offering you a reassuring smile — and you can't help but smile back.

Trafalgar Law

jealousy is a form of affect. Trafalgar Law doesn't want to hear about affect... well, especially if it's jealousy, his jealousy.

might sound weird, but… unlike Marco, tbh i don't know if Law would try to rationalize things, to reassure himself that there's no real insecurity to feel, etc, etc. i rather think that he’d “simply” try not to think about it. What’s the point? It would only stretch thin your link… so… better try to pretend like everything’s fine, right? 🤡

yet you can read jealousy on Law’s face just like in an open book; it's obvious, but our friend with a mushroom hat is always ready to deny it, even if it means being a little curt.

'why would i be jealous? am i supposed to be jealous? i've no reason to be jealous of anything about you. do as you like, (y/n).'

when he defends himself, the word “jealous” is repeated a lot in his sentences, and somehow that’s the way his external speech betrays his deep state, his inner speech. Sometimes Law catches himself thinking that his jealousy isn't something bad, that it actually makes sense, doesn't it? After all, you like each other, and it's okay to feel... “in danger”? when that relationship is put in jeopardy. Moreover, this often motivates Law's desire to protect you, to support you. But… he also finds it unfortunate that it stems from negative affects. Law just wants to be there for you, to protect you, without himself feeling in danger about his place in your heart.

when he feels jealous, Law tends to distance himself, or, quite the contrary, to be slightly clingier than usual with you. Basically, he can either shut himself away and be very quiet, watching your interaction with the person who stirs up his jealousy from a distance (kinda like Sabo); or, on the contrary, he can make his presence felt in the most intense way possible, as if to put pressure on the person in question… and on you.

being more talkative and more attention-seeking than usual, being more irritable,... That would be Trafalgar Law’s (unconscious) way to show you he’s jealous. In fact, Law often realizes his own jealousy afterwards. At the heat of the moment, he just feels pissed off and frustrated, even though he finds it hard to admit it. Overall, what makes Law jealous is people who behave towards you in a way he considers to be inappropriate if they’re not your partner. e.g.: being too flirtatious with you.

Law isn’t the type to confront you to formally forbid you to discuss with someone, however he won’t fail to strongly advise you against hanging out, talking too much etc. with the person who embarrasses him — all of this through lil sentences that actually betray his condition (that you have already noticed for quite a while.)

‘They don’t inspire me with anything safe. I think you should avoid spending too much time with them.’

As said above, Law’s jealousy is no secret to you, it’s as plain as the nose on your face, but it’s often difficult to tackle the subject with him. Don’t tease him too much when it comes to this, he may close like a seashell. But all this embarrassment, which after all results from a form of personal pride; would be quickly put aside if the person (about whom Law already had doubts) comes to clearly bother you.

Coming out of his shell, Law will have no trouble stepping in, kinda abruptly. Maybe he'll grab that person by the collar, maybe not. He positions himself in such a way as to make it clear that nothing bad can happen to you as long as he’s by your side, that you’ll always find support in him. You can always count on him, even if he sometimes seems distant to you.

It’s all in the eyes. A piercing look that is much more full of meaning than words. Law doesn’t want to waste time talking to people who already bother him because they not only take his place, but don’t even take care of it. They’re just annoying you.

Law might sometimes be tempted to use his nodachi. But no doubt it would disappoint you… and that’s out of the question. Somehow it would mean to put himself on the same level as this person who bothers you, this very person who is (at least, in his eyes lol) a walking disappointment.

So Law just chooses to get even closer to them, so he can talk to them calmly… Well, to all appearances :) all of this with some sort of smirk that would actually contain a boiling anger as frustration, and which you’re the only reason why these two components don’t explode.

‘I've already been very lenient to let you talk to (y/n) while you seem so mannerless, so don’t overdo it. Back off and behave better. There will be no other chance.’

After that, depending on what you choose (do you want to leave? do you want to stay with this person who has now been warned by Law?), he’d stay close to you, not imposing himself on your actions, but making himself now much more attentive to the actions of the person — and this for your well-being rather than to his, rather than to this jealousy of which, as we’ve said, he finds it difficult to fully understand. It may not seem like much, but trust me that the person concerned would have understood that they shouldn't mess with you. brrr

In fact, it may seem strange, but I don’t think that Law is generally someone who would be very “fiery” in his jealousy, that is to say the type to violently attack those who make him jealous. i see him more as someone who withdraws, if not sulks; waiting for you to come get him to prove your ‘good faith’ — yes, because those are his terms. In reality, he just wants you to reassure him.

But, no matter what, if someone tries to hurt you, he’ll always be there to protect you! Law is protective of you — whether he’s sulking or not :)

ranking the phantom troupe based on how good of parents they would be

1. chrollo. the way that this isn’t even because i have favoritism towards chrollo, its because he’s so responsible🥹🥹🥹 like do you see the way that he basically takes care of the troupe? fathered so hard he mothered tbh. chrollo is literally so girl dad coded🥺 prolly cried when his held his child for the first time. he’d be the sweetest, brushing his daughter’s hair and taking her shopping.

2. pakunoda. she’s so respectful and self sacrificial and responsible im crying🥺 she makes me cry real skibidi tears like togashi look at what you took away from us. she’d be the literal sweetest mama ever. she’s soooo girl mom coded it’s insane. can you imagine her painting her daughter’s nails pink?🥹💕 she would 100% take her daughter on mall trips all the time.

3. phinks. controversial opinion but this guy would lowkey but SUCH A GOOD DAD. remember during the chimera ant arc when he gave shizuku his clothes because she lost hers? i just KNOW that he would play video games with his son and once begrudgingly wore a tiara for his daughter.

4. franklin. i don’t think he’d ever have kids (or want them for that matter), but if ever were to babysit kids, just know that he’ll be great. since we all know that he’s literally just a chill guy, he’ll just let the kids play video games and eat food the whole time.

5. nobunaga. okay okay HEAR ME OUT HE WOULD BE SO CUTE. like okay he wouldn’t be a “good” parent, but can you imagine him running around with his kid wreaking havoc and letting them play with his hair? like come on that’s literally like my dream dad😭❤️

6. shizuku. now she definitely is NOT responsible, but she doesn’t even need to be because she’ll lowkey be so chill and nice with her kids. there’s a saying that kids like pretty girls, and shizuku is definitely that. she’ll probably let her kids play on her phone or something, and i lowkey don’t think she’ll care if they take her glasses or smth.

7. machi. she’s responsible, don’t get me wrong, but i think she’ll be a bit too strict on her kid because she has trouble expressing any positive emotions. but when her kid runs away crying, she’ll instantly feel SO BAD and try her best to comfort the kid. she might make them a doll or some clothes or something.

8. bonolenov. we don’t really know too much about him, but he seems to care a lot about the troupe, so then it’s probably natural to assume that he’ll be the same with his children, if he ever has any, of course. he’ll probably teach them about their clan and what the holes in his clan’s body symbolizes.

9. shalnark. now, he’s a friendly and “sweet” guy, but i have a strong feeling that he wouldn’t like kids very much. they’re probably too dumb and pure for his liking, and he probably feels sort of uncomfortable when it comes to kids. if he finds out that someone is going to have his kids, then 90% of the time, shalnark will pull a ging freecss. the other 10% of the time, he’ll try his best.

10. uvogin. he’s the type of guy to want his child to learn how to fight and learn Nen as soon as possible, even if he has to initiate them to unlock their aura nodes. he’d lowkey drink beer one day and offer his kids some beer too, forgetting that they’re underage. but he loves his kids dearly though and would do anything for them, so that’s good enough.

11. feitan. oh this guy HATES KIDS. he finds them annoying and loud and stupid, and he gets the ick even when he LOOKS at a kid. if he ever had a kid, (which he probably wouldn’t but just hypothetically speaking) he’d have less of a reaction considering how that kid literally comes from inside of him, but he’d begrudgingly raise them as best he can…if it’s a son. if it’s a daughter, then i feel like he’ll be much softer and (try to be) more gentle.

12. illumi. pretty self explanatory tbh. he’ll love his kids dearly, but he’ll express it in toxic and unhealthy ways (he’ll also put them through terrible Zoldyck training)

13. hisoka. do NOT let this man near kids, even his own.
