I come here late to give my opinion on what Nicole Maines said in her book about the Supercorp fandom (go to Twitter for more info, but she basically gave her point of view of things as a queer actor on the show having expected things from the queer fans, confirmed we were being queerbaited while also blaming us for some actors getting fired). I appreciate her side of things and feel for her. But reading that I felt that A LOT was overlooked, especially the context of it all. So sit back if you care enough to read this and come with me as I go on a rant and we go down memory lane to give some context into what it was like to watch Supergirl live as a Supercorp fan.
The first season of Supergirl had its fair share of ships. People liked Kara/Cat, Kara/James, Kara/Win maybe anyone? I don't remember that one but I'm sure there were people out there who liked them. Some people even liked Alex/Kara (a conversation for another time). Kara/Cat shippers could also like Kara/James, because both ships had some strong foundations in the narrative, they were undeniably good ships, regardless of how you feel about age-difference relationships or straight relationships lol. There wasn't mostly an issue, except with the ones that liked Kara/Alex.
In between the first and second season of Supergirl it was announced that a main character would be gay. They didn't say who, though. Speculation began, of course. They did say that Maggie Sawyer was coming to the show but it was not confirmed that she was going to be a lesbian and even less whose love interest.
Then the second season premiered. And in the very first episode Kara Danvers meets Lena Luthor. Their scenes together were filled with sexual tension from the very beginning, look at their meeting scene without context and a bit of an open mind and most people will see their chemistry and think that maybe Kara was meeting her soulmate. And the first scene of Supergirl meeting Lena Luthor? It was already drawing a parallel between them and Lois/Clark, one of most iconic, recognizable and undeniable canon ships of all time. Drawing parallels between these two ships was the creators of the show's favorite pastime and it started from day one, before the ship had any fans because we hadn't met Lena just yet.
But in that episode we did meet her. And we fell in love fast. Because their interactions and the interest concept of Lena's character were good. Could it really be that Kara was the main gay character? Could it really be that they were going to give us an epic love story with Supergirl and a family member of her family's historically known enemy? Could they dare to make the famous superhero anything other than straight?
It wasn't just a delusion on our part at that time. It was a real possibility based on real facts. Kara had suddenly dropped the guy she spent the entire previous season chasing after. She got him and dumped him for no good reason (the writers didn't bother to give it a good excuse) and in the same episode she meets this woman, at the start of the season we were going to discover a main gay character.
These are all facts.
A few episodes later Maggie Sawyer makes her debut and it's clear that she's Alex's love interest from the first moment. Cool. It's not Kara but at least it's Alex (because, at the time, we know, WE KNOW, that they don't have two lesbian/queer women characters in the same show unless they're dating each other. How could we think that gay people will surround themselves with other gay people? silly us), that was the reaction: We still LOVED that it was Alex, because it still made sense. And it was difficult to find Sanvers fanfic without it having Supercorp in it because we were all the same people, of course most of us liked both ships.
Now, I obviously don't know her, but I seriously don't think that Chyler can say she felt overlooked by the fans that season. Alex's coming out scenes were some of the best we had seen in our entire lives up until that point, and we made that known. Not all of us might have been on board with Sanvers (some storyline choices could've been questionable) but with Alex? No one loved her more than the queer Supergirl fans. And in the meantime Supercorp kept getting screen time, their friendship progressing in a Clois kind of way that was beautiful to witness. While Maggie and Alex's relationship advanced pretty quickly from an "I'm not gay" to a rejection to a proper first kiss, Supercorp was building a bit more organically as Supergirl kept saving Lena's life, as Lena opened up only to Kara, trusting her all the while Kara was keeping this huge secret from her. We ate that shit up, of course we did.
After season two was over we got the news that Floriana Lima (Maggie) was going to leave the show. I remember Chyler saying that she wanted to do right by us and whoever came next was gonna stay. And I'm not faulting Chyler for what came next, at all. Chyler was and always will be one of the best things on Supergirl and she has always treated the fandom with the utmost respect and love. And I hope she only received the same treatment back (and I hate to know she got those letters from people threatening to kill themselves, but let's have a little compassion for those people and their mental health, I hope they're doing well).
So Maggie left. And while some fans were not coping well with that, most fans understood it was the actress' decision. That was fine. What wasn't fine was the decision the writers made by making the breakup about not wanting babies when they were about to get married. How on Earth (any Earth) a couple don't talk about that particular issue BEFORE deciding to get married? It was an easy way out. But okay, it's just a TV show, I don't write it, we can move on from that... In the same season, at the same time this whole discussion and breakup occurs, the very same person who wanted to have kids has a meet-cute with a SINGLE MOTHER, Sam. The story was full of promise, she had a kid already with whom Alex got along amazingly, there was great chemistry between all three of them, Sam also had a dark secret being basically her sister's most powerful enemy, their relationship was mostly well built throughout the entire season. But guess what? She wasn't her new love interest, and left at the end of it.
A lot of Supercorp fans LOVED AgentReign (Sam/Alex), by the way. A lot of Supercorp fans also loved ReignCorp (Sam/Lena) and a few even loved AgentCorp (Lena/Alex) and SuperReign (lol what was the name of this ship? I don't remember but Kara/Sam). And guess what? There wasn't a war between us. We were mostly the same people multishipping because it's fun and because these were interesting characters with interesting relationships created by the writers. We were inventing and wishing for stuff, but the foundations were laid for us, some (most) things were there and most of us were just screaming that we liked what we were being given and wanted more of that.
And that's why come season 4, some people were having a hard time accepting Dansen. Because we were mourning the loss of Sam and her relationship with Alex, the what ifs are always the worst, no matter the situation. But most Supercorp fans embraced Kelly (and Azie, we love Azie and what we got to see of her relationship with Chyler, and Katie and Nicole), the vast majority of us ended up loving Dansen despite the writers not always doing a great job at writing their arcs. And it's awful that some fans treated her and other members of the cast horribly, but that was by far a small portion of the Supergirl fandom in general, and especially the Supercorp fandom. And, by the way, as a side note because racism was part of the problem for a minority of the fandom, A LOT of us in the Supercorp side of it are not white people from the US, A LOT of us are from other countries/races/cultures (that can be racist too of course, but the point is we don't know the races and motives of everyone behind a keyboard).
And that season most of us also embraced Nia because she was the first trans superhero, because of her queerness, because she was an awesome fun character, because she was relatable and geeky like most of us. We embraced her, her relationship with Kara and her relationship with Brainy. And we showed that by trending Nia related things, by adding Nia to our fanfics and fanarts. Nia was a Supercorp ally for most of us and we didn't exclude her from the art because we loved her as much as we love some of the other characters in the show.
Now, if Kara would have had, after the first season, one male love interest that was decent enough, we would have still love and wanted Supercorp, that's true (especially when it had been years of build-up) but most of us probably would have liked the pairing anyway, because we loved Kara Danvers and wanted her to be happy and to have the love she wanted at the beginning of the show (which she didn't get, by the way).
But the writers decided to give her, instead, another man who didn't treat her well. And I couldn't honestly tell you half of William's storyline because I couldn't care less. The creators of the show didn't make me care. Hell, I didn't even see Kara cared enough about that character. The writers should know their audience and should know that the audience needs moments to make them care about the characters, the writers have the power to make that happen. Many times I've seen a fandom hate a character one episode and love them by the next one, because sometimes all it takes is one good scene, or one good arc. William never had that. And now we have confirmation of what we knew all along, that maybe they were writing half-assed storylines for their love interests because they were too busy trying to figure out new ways to queerbait us. If they would have put a quarter of that effort into creating good love interests for Kara and/or Lena (but especially Kara), most of this conversation wouldn't still be happening 3 years later.
We embraced Andrea Rojas, we embraced her so much that we shipped her with Lena. Most of us weren't the blind Supercorp-or-nothing crazy fans a lot of people to this day make us out to be. When things were good, we mostly liked them. But please, please, let's be honest here, a lot of the time Supergirl was not a great-written show. And I get that those are Nicole's friends but a little objectivity, especially after all these years, would have come a long way.
These past few days I've read a couple of people saying Supercorp was the only good thing about the show. Those kinds of people were and still are a very very minority. A lot of us started the show before Supercorp existed and LOVED (still love) the Danvers sisters with all of our hearts. And the writers, at times, didn't know how to keep up with that relationship, the one that at first was the very center of the show, all that well either.
Most Supercorp fans didn't actually like that the 100th episode revolved all around Supercorp. 1) Because it was queerbaiting at its finest. 2) because it should've been about the Danvers sisters. Or at least about all Supergirl's most important relationships in equal measure. Yes, Lena was a big part of her, but ALEX EVEN MORE SO. The fandom didn't make that happen, we didn't fire any actor either. These were decisions made by the people who had the power to make anything in the show happen. If we would have had our way we all know what we would have done, and no, it definitely was not p**n (the most used AO3 tags for our ship speak for themselves).
I didn't see Nicole's last paragraph on the subject shared much. A lot of people didn't see that she acknowledged a small portion of the good the Supercorp fandom did.

But by the time you get to it, you already have a bad taste in your mouth. Because it still reads as if she's talking about us all without a care that "the toxic fans" were just a loud minority. Not to say that the good guys weren't louder, because Supercorp is still what it is to this day because we're still loud. So why is there very little mention of that? The way we supported Nia's episode? The way we supported Kelly's?
And because we were having fun and we were loud about our love for two fictional characters, WE WERE ALSO RECEIVING THREATS from some toxic fans, hell, the day before yesterday some fans were receiving death threats like it's 2017. Everything she says the cast and crew were dealing with, the Supercorp fans were dealing with it as well, and more so because the toxic people felt validated by the choices the creators made. Validated by some writers on Twitter making it worse. Validated by some of the actors who were also mocking us. We were all called delusional, and that was the most chill thing you could be called.
I understand her point of view, and I imagine that was not a great first experience in that kind of set, and I would love to have the opportunity to talk to actors about this topic that fascinates me (relationship between fandoms and cast/crew). But context is important, to see other people's point of views is important when having these conversations. She felt her own community wasn't supporting her when most of us were and that didn't come across at all. Not even with her final words.
The fact is, they were hurt by a small part of their own fandom (which, by the way, they have no idea how old those toxic fans were. Not to say that adults are not toxic. But we, as the non-toxic adults, should also think of the demographic and react accordingly). And most of us, the queer Supercorp shippers, were also hurt by the toxic part of the fandom and by some of the people she's trying to defend. Let's be clear, there's not "mayyyybe," they were 100% wrong in queerbaiting the hell out of us from day one and mocking us for believing the bait. Make no mistake, most of this is a consequence of THAT.

Hi! Thank you so much for writing Lies of Omission. I can't describe how much I love it! While rereading, I noticed you depicted very interesting interactions between Cass and Jason. You explicitly wrote that Jason is terrified of her. I wonder why? Is this their relationship in DC comics? Or is it your speculation based on a series of comics? In the DC universe, there are countless people who want to and could kick Jason's ass, but why is he afraid of Cass?
HI HELLO ANON!! thank you so so much for reading + for asking questions because i love talking about these characters and also my fics <3
i do want to note that i originally started writing lies of omission all the way back in december! it's been 6 months! a year ago i didn't even know batman had multiple robins. so, obviously my understanding of these characters and their relationships has changed a lot in the intervening time. i try to keep characterization consistent within the fic itself, but that does mean it's a little disconnected from how i'd write the characters if i was starting from scratch today.
also cass & jason's relationship there is very specific to that fic-verse and its canon divergence. this isn't like my thesis on canon cass & jason dynamics or anything.
from jason's perspective, cass is the batfam member that is simultaneously the most threatening and the one he knows the least. he knows she's very competent at fighting, and is at least aware of her skill interpreting body language. in a fair fight, cass beats jason the grand majority of the time. while dick & bruce i think would also win more often than not, jason knows them in a way he doesn't with cass that means he has ways to push the fight to his own advantage.
cass joined the batfam while jason was dead, was out of gotham during his initial return + the time period where he would have been reconciling with dick in this au, and in general would not have been in contact with him very long. she hangs out mostly with babs (who complains about jason often) and steph, who prior to the beginning of the fic didn't know jason well either. and for most of the other batfam members their feelings about jason is complicated at best, which means that she generally dislikes/is hostile to him. she's the least likely person to tolerate his bullshit.
there's also the body language aspect--jason in this fic likes his secrets! cass being able to read his emotions would make him feel uncomfortably exposed in a way that means he wouldn't want to spend much time around her.
"terrified" is perhaps not the right word for this. iirc this is exclusively something steph speculates on, and she's usually being lighthearted/joking when she's doing it. lies of omission is built on the characters making assumptions, missing things, or being intentionally misleading. everyone has their own perception, but that doesn't mean what they say or believe is "true" or "correct." when we're in jason's perspective, the narration from his perspective doesn't mention that he's scared of cass. but also jason is the #1 champion of lying to himself so. who knows.
as far as i know, this doesn't connect at all to canon dc comics. cass & jason's relationship there only really gets developed in n52 and rebirth (while lies of omission is mostly based in post-crisis), and a lot of their interactions are in comics that i haven't read. as far as i know they get along fine in canon?
as far as there being countless other people who could and would kick jason's ass, yeah, that's true! but cass is the only one who's really around enough for jason to worry about. jason's continued existence in gotham is pretty contingent on what the batfam think of him. cass is actively a part of the batfam and thus someone whose opinion he needs to worry about. ollie would love a rematch but ollie's in star city, so jason really does not give a shit what he thinks lol.
this got a little rambly, but i hope it answers your questions! thanks again for reading!

I can’t sleep so I’m thinking about my catastrophe crew au again.
I think the main cast would looks something like this:
Badboyhalo: initially an average channel 11 camera man who was assigned to the news helicopter, who becomes the helicopters reporter after tragedy and/or upper management befalls several of the replacements. He is kind of the head of the crew, in that he often comes up with the insane solutions to the problems they face (a reference to his big-finding skills on the Qsmp), but he always assists the others when they need it (after some teasing and being mischievous). He has a son, Dapper.
Tubbo: the helicopter pilot, and the youngest of the crew. He’s very smart and insightful, giving the crew advice and inspiration, and sometimes straight up solutions based on his observations. He’s very good with technology and mechanics, but since he’s too busy flying the helicopter, he doesn’t use those skills too much. Despite being fairly young, he has an adopted daughter, Sunny, who he takes care of when he’s not at work.
Bagi: the copilot. She takes over flying when tubbo is incapacitated or doing tech-y stuff elsewhere. She does copilot things (I don’t know how helicopters work) but she also has incredible deductive skills and logical reasoning. She’s very good at connecting the dots, and ends up finding out how the disasters that the crew faces are all related. (At the beginning of the show, she does not yet have Empanada).
Aypierre: the crew’s technician and mechanic. He stays on the helicopter to fox anything that breaks, and bring out odd little inventions to help with whatever bizarre situations the crew finds themselves in. He co-parents his daughter pomme with a number of other French people (they live in the same apartment complex as Bad and Dapper, which leads to Pomme seeing Bad as a father as well)
Tina: I don’t know what her job title would be, but she manages the broadcast of the sound and video from the helicopter to the newstation. She controls whose voices are broadcast on the air, which she occasionally uses to mess with people (I don’t know a whole lot about Tina, but I’ll probably come up with more details for her later)
Recurring side characters:
Cucurucho: a higher up (but not the highest up) at channel 11 news. He is the boss of all members of the crew, and is/was responsible for putting the crew together. He is mostly impartial and mainly focused on efficiency, but there are situations where they base decisions on their own desires.
Skeppy: the other reporter for the catastrophe crew, who stays within the channel 11 building. (Tbh also don’t know a lot about him. He’s probably beefing with cucurucho tho)
Relationships:
Bagina: the only relationship that will be canonized within the show. They are gay disasters around each other for a bit, flirt, date, and end up getting married and going on honeymoon right before thing get VERY BAD. Let’s go lesbians.
Cucuhalo: cucurucho has a crush on bad. Bad is dense as rocks. Cucurucho sometimes abuses his power for the sake of this one sided crush, like when he had skeppy relocated (to be further away from bad). Maybe they also live in the same apartment complex, next door neighbors or something.
Skephalo: you know how they are (probably). As the two reporters/anchors, they often have a bit of banter as the newscast switches from one to the other. They work very well together, but can’t work nearby to each other due to the jealousy of cucurucho.
Cucurucho and skeppy work in much closer proximity than either does with bad, so they have little passive aggressive interactions sometimes. Bad is also oblivious to this, and thinks that everyone should just get along.
#that’s all for now.#maybe next I tell you the general plot#qsmp#qsmp catastrophe crew#qsmp badboyhalo#qsmp tubbo#qsmp bagi#qsmp aypierre#qsmp tina#qsmp cucurucho#qsmp skeppy#qsmp au#qsmp cucuhalo#qsmp bagina#Qsmp skephalo#writing this at 3am and it shows :/

Introduction
Hello. My name is Sophora. I am a Pokemon veterinarian. I live in Unova, but at the time of this writing, I am beginning a temporary stay in Johto to assist with a research project.
My blog is mostly thoughts and discussions of Pokemon care and science, as well as what photos I wish to share.
I am a former member of Team Plasma. My duties were to care for Pokemon injured by human deeds, and assess whether they could be released into the wild. Though I was nothing more than a child in training at the time. I wish to be clear that I, along with most Team Plasma members you will ever encounter, were fooled by Ghetsis, and truly do wish for improving the lives of Pokemon.
My sole Pokemon is a Zorua named Beans. I have had her for many years, and she is my dear companion.
I am often told I have no sense of humor, so please do not expect much in the way of jokes or banter from me. I am also often called rude, or at the very least blunt.
I will speak often on Pokemon care, as mentioned. I will answer any questions on Pokemon care when I am able, though I am mostly only familiar with Pokemon of the Unova region, and some of the Kanjoh region. I also will often speak on the life of a veterinarian and what sort of things one is expected to do in this job.
The difference between a Pokemon veterinarian and a Pokemon Center, for the record, generally involves overall health versus injuries. If it was a problem or health issue that came from battle, you go to a Center. If it is an overall health issue that did not come from battling, go to a veterinarian. Generally, we will refer you to the other one if you got it wrong.
My hobbies are reading and photography. I have given lectures about Pokemon care at conferences before, and I enjoy trying new foods. I am something of a coffee enthusiast, as well.
Most people I mention on this blog, I will be changing their names. This includes myself- Rotomphones should not replace basic internet safety for you all. The main exceptions will be people on this site who use their real name, and people who are otherwise too famous that it would be pointless to try to change their name.
I look forward to pleasant conversations with you all.
//OOC under the cut!
Player is over 21.
All posts will be tagged with 'pkmn irl' and 'unreality'.
This is, obviously, a Pokemon IRL rp blog.
I intend to not get involved in high stakes with the possibly exception of Team Winter stuff, or things that otherwise catch my interest. Most of them will be assumed to not happen.
Some notes on character canon!
Sapient Pokemon do not exist. There are rare exceptions, but they are extremely special and noteworthy. Pokemon intelligence varies, but generally they're animals. As a result, I would prefer not to interact with sapient Pokemon blogs, and if you do, Sophora will assume that you're a child roleplaying.
Legendary Pokemon are rare. The mainline games are canon but generally, Sophora doesn't know a lot of what happened. If it wasn't on the scale of Kyogre and Groudon, Sophora probably didn't hear about it! Sophora does not believe in a lot of legendary Pokemon as a result.
I do not do the whole 'magic anon' thing and such asks will be ignored.
Human-obtainable superpowers are Aura and psychic powers. That's about it. There are no other superpowers. Legendaries do not give children superpowers.
Legendaries may have been worshipped as gods but are not gods. There is no Arceus-based religion. People do not worship Arceus and do not treat it as the Christian god.
Most products that get parodied do not have the Pokemon parody names, and they just have the real world name. However, it is an in-universe meme to force Pokemon names into the product name, and that's why everyone has such differences (i.e. the proper name for the place is Starbucks, but some people call it Starlybucks and others call it Staryubucks, because it's a meme, not the real name.)
I want to avoid crossover stuff, it is not to my interest.
I want to try to keep to the tone of Pokemon as much as possible, so I'm going to be ignoring most things about murder and killing (unless it is a Cubone's mother).
Sophora can be, and often is, wrong about various subjects. However, she is a veterinarian and thus generally going to be correct about Pokemon care. Please do not show up to just correct me and claim my character doesn't know what she's talking about.
I try to avoid getting involved with the 'multiverse' stuff. As far as Sophora is concerned, there is only one reality, and it's hers. Please do not get deep into the weeds on that with her so I don't have to think about it too hard.
Animals exist! Pokemon are part of the ecosystem but normal animals exist, too. They just don't come up often because they aren't relevant.
Sorry if that sounds like too much stuff! I just wanted to be very clear from the outset.
EDIT:
If you are not someone already relevant about it, I will not acknowledge any asks where you try to prove legendary Pokemon. It's much funnier if Sophora refuses to believe in them. For understanding of the gag, please watch this video.
Sophora will not ever see or acknowledge a Legendary Pokemon outside of very specific circumstances. Please do not try to force the issue.

Was Damian's time with the league all That traumatic? I'm reading some fics and wanted to know how much (if any) was based on canon. (sorry if this bothers you, i just think you know Damian very well)
That's a complicated issue, mostly because Damian's horrid upbringing is directly connected to Talia's character-butchering. Since pre-Morrison Talia would never allow her son to be raised the same way Damian has been raised, but at the same time Damian wouldn't be Damian if he wasn't raised in the LoA, so that puts us in a difficult situation (I did write about how you can have a middle ground here)
Putting Talia's situation aside, yes, Damian's childhood was 100% traumatic. From the day he was born, he was never allowed to live like a normal kid and instead was trained by the world's most deadly killers, which includes him constantly going into missions to kill, torture, battle and kidnap other people. There's no beating around the bush here, his childhood was mostly grim.
With that being said, a lot of people are forgetting that Damian is also the grandson of the league's immortal leader/founder and heir to the throne, in fact whenever we see members of the league interacting with Damian in canon, they always refer to him as "prince Damian" or "lord Damian" because that's literally what he is and there are some privileges to that (not that it will cancel out the abuse he faced)
For instance, while I'm sure all of his assassin teachers have trained him very harshly to atrocious levels, they would only give him as much as he can take without dying (we saw tutors of his being exiled/killed before because they took things too far and risked his life) and when he's NOT training, absolutely no one is allowed to harm him and he would be as pampered as any other prince, but again, his duty in life is to be the league's future leader, so its not like he had much free time outside of his training in the first place.
So yeah, he had a traumatic life, but in a twisted way, the abuse he went through wasn't out of malice or done with the intentions to harm him, but to advance his capabilities to make him the most formidable version of himself and during all of this, he was still revered and treated with the utmost respect from his abusers (which might be a reason to why he didn't realize how traumatic his life was for the longest time).

HEY YOU Hit me with some Julie Su propoganda cuz I'm mostly lukewarm on her character and don't know all that much about her.
OK OK ... well baseline info she's the daughter of dark legion general luger, and half sister of lien-da and kragok, who are twins and both high ranking legion soldiers. when their mother (merin-da) died and luger remarried, ld and kragok hated his new wife (julie-su's mother) (mari-su) so bad they orchestrated her death, info which was they kept on the DL for a long time until js eventually found out about it. memory situation, js is raised by other folks who actually love her and doesn't learn who her blood family is until later. she joins knuckles because she feels inexplicably drawn to him (soul touch) (echidna soulmates) so she defects from the legion to join the chaotix. the soul touch thing sucks and i hate it but this is how it goes. ill talk about my au version of her at the end lol bc things ive built on top of canon are part of the reason why shes one of my fave charas in the series lul
ANYWHO i honestly find it pretty frustrating when people talk about js as just being pink knuckles, shoehorned into the story to give knuckles an obligatory girlfriend, because it really demonstrates that they like. weren't paying a lick of attention to anything because she genuinely has a LOT of personality but since people just go in anticipating anything penders touched to suck they don't even bother to think about her for longer than half a second.
js fills a niche that, imo, could always use filling, especially with regards to girl characters, which is to say shes a well meaning asshole. shes incredibly blunt, she's pessimistic (immediately assumes knuckles must be dead when enerjak returns and they cant find him, tells knuckles not to search a fallen ship that his mother was on because shes probably dead and she doesnt think he'd want to see that). shes terrible at handling interpersonal conflict (knuckles confesses to her that he feels guilty and stressed over all the pressure put on him as guardian and she scolds him and says "this isn't just about you", which results in a minor shouting match when she really had zero intention of starting an argument), she's almost constantly beefing with vector (tbf its because hes sexist he refuses to see past her history as a member of the dark legion). these might suond like cons but i love characters like this LOL and they fit especially well in archie where people love to get mad at each other and make dumb mistakes and it just feels very genuine and interesting and endearing to me. shes rough and difficult but she's also DEEPLY loyal. she'd die for knuckles and the chaotix and the way she interacts with them always makes me soooo ........ im just gonna give some examples i can find.
(knuckles is on the phone with her)
^ this was the genuine conclusion of an argument they had and im obsessed with it because both of them suck with emotions so they both give the worlds strangest apology and know that the other means it and they move on. plus putting her arm in front of SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG while theyre confronting eggman even after watching him CHAOS BLAST, primarily because she feels like this is more her fight than his (its about knuckles).
theres def more and i could find them if i was more on top of archie but unfortunately im #narutopilled rn. BUT ANYWAYS. shes just a very fun character with a messy personality and fun interactions and she loves her buddies sm even tho she bickers with them. shes just very special. she fits well with knuckles in a way that makes their relationship actually feel plausible instead of just forcing him to have a girlfriend (tho ofc the writing is fumbled sometimes like. ITS ARCHIE. bffr. but thats the case with literally everything ever in archie so you take what you can and its amazing). also see below. BASED AS FUCKKKKKKK
and ill discuss my au briefly bc u r asking me my opinion on js and that does play a large role in how i feel abt her, but rly im just expanding on elements of her story that werent discussed as fully as i wouldve liked. her relationship with lien-da is obviously BAD in canon, but theres not a lot of time spent lingering on precisely how lien-da and kragok feel about julie-su as the product of their fathers second marriage to a woman they KILLED because they hated her so much. ive also given her much more internal strife over turning away from the legion, originally joining the chaotix planning to betray them from the inside then being slowly convinced to join them for real after realizing how much she'd been brainwashed by the legion and what its like to have people who truly love and care about you. her story as someone who is trying to find herself outside of her history as a child soldier is something that TOTALLY deserves to be expanded on and its a bit sad that it wasnt explored. but i mean really im not changing her actual PERSONALITY at all because as i discussed shes oozing with it.... im honestly never going to make the full comic i wanted to so at some point im just going to compile all the lore and concept art and stuff into one big post to share. but thats like a spoiler free taste.
she also has a gun. which is fucking awesome because not enough sonic characters have guns. people make shadow the guy with a gun but he hasnt been seen with one since shth. hello....

Overthinking Ghost Cole...
I personally would've enjoyed more Cole Angst as a ghost. However, I think we got enough in Possession. We saw him be shocked and sad in the Temple on Haunted Hill. Next we see him deal with reality of the situation and grow to accept it. I think one more episode of being bummed out about not being human would've been nice. Specifically, before that mountain one. He does grow to accept his ghost-ness within the season. It felt a bit rushed to me, but I don't mind it too much. Cole isn't an angsty person. I think he'd adjust quickly, and he did. It would feel weird if he was moping for a while on what happened to him. He moped for a little bit, but was more concerned with the fact he can't help his friends the same way he used to. His arc is growing to accept he is still valuable even though he's a different now.
I think the main issue of ghost Cole is in Skybound. We never see him continue to deal with reality of being a ghost. We don't see him interact with his father, have issues on the film set, not much. We only have cool power up moments and some gags. (Which are great, I can be nice) Why can't Cole get a separate prison cell when they go to jail? Why does vengestone have to now apply to ghosts? Cole is no longer human, he's something else. He's something other. But in Skybound he's treated as a human, but he can go invisible occasionally. He can still eat food. Nothing is lost, he's better off as a ghost. You lose the feeling of sacrifice.
In Possession we see him jump around water (like when Nya uses her powers, when they fortify their base etc) We have lines which highlight his new change. (Borg saying he built the mech out of deepstone)
Now on Ghost Cole Angst. The only opportunity for ghost Cole angst in Skybound would’ve been from the other characters. Cole’s arc was about accepting his changes and coping with his new reality. Then loving himself again. In Skybound there’s nothing to cope with because he finished his arc. Lou or Lloyd are people who weren’t there with Cole much in season 5 and probably would have a lot of feelings about what happened. A side plot that Skybound could’ve had if we wanted to expand on Coles character is an outsider coming to terms with his transformation. It would’ve shown off Cole's growth and give characters with nothing to do something. (That’s why I suggested Lloyd)
This is just a big ask for a season that came out in 2016. As for what we got in canon, I think we’re just lucky he stayed a ghost in Skybound. The season was meant to focus on Jay, a character who got a backseat in previous seasons. I think this is one of the many issues of having a Jay focused season after a more ensemble focused one. All the other characters took a hit. Having more focus on Nya focused plot line outside of her romantic relationships would've been beneficial for her character. A lot of big changes were made to the story and the Ninja didn't get to recover much or still be affected. Lloyd's father died, he was more affected by this in Possession. Maybe Lloyd or someone from his family giving us a speech about Garmadon in the beginning. Hopefully not from Master Wu. We know his shit, he won't have anything new to the table. My mainpoint being Cole isn't the only one that got messed up in Skybound.
In summary, MY FAVES ANGST WAS SIDELINED IN SKYBOUND, SO NOW I'M SAD!
so that’s why I never mentioned the missed potential of ghost Cole in a post about Possession. It’s meant for a post about Skybound.
Tell me if you disagree with the take. This take is oddly not so controversial for me. (My drafts are mostly x is overrated) So agreeing with fellow members of the fandom or just sharing an idea is probably beneficial for my relationship to the Ninjago.
#cole brookstone#ninjago#lego ninjago#ninjago cole#cole bucket#ghost cole#cole ninjago#skybound#ninjago possession#possession#ninjago season 6#ninjago season 5#ninjago skybound#skybound ninjago#possession ninjago#maybe i could post a skybound rewrite#tell me if that's interesting

🤐
🤐 — “Which canon/division characters do your OC’S like? Who do they all HATE?” LIKE: Eko — Samatoki Stopping into Yokohama, the trio had to be the most interesting part of M.T.Cs usual week. Running into a rogue group of illegal mic users, both teams came together to give them a piece of their own medicine. Samatoki, unsurprised with another victory, had to give credit for Eko’s skills along with Traffic Light and their strange powers. Offering to receive information about his sister Nemu, he keeps in contact with the yakuza member in order to learn more surrounding the underground scene of the hip hop world. Mai — Jakurai Even after the 2s encounter during the Traffic Light era, Mai still manages to keep in contact with Jakurai. Suffering from gender dysphoria after their sexual crisis, the doctor offered safety and protection with a few sessions during their time. Since then, they’ve been inseparable with often taking time to check in and interact in person despite being decently far away. Yuno — Jyuto The Buster Bros!!! are just behind in Yuno’s ranking, definitely not being left out of the running for other purposes. Despite knowing of his corrupted nature, Yuno holds Jyuto in regard for upholding the supposed law of the land. The officer understands his opinions are quite similar to his own and likes him for thinking outside the box unlike most people. Currently, the 2 often converse on the future of Chuohku and sometimes meet in person to bust some hard “cases”.
HATE: Eko — Ichijuku I shouldn’t have to explain this, should I? Was sadistic towards Traffic Light’s examination in the H Era, put 2 True Hypnosis Mic’s onto his head and mind hacked him and did the exact same thing to Mai and Yuno after losing against MIHANASA. Even if he does manage to evade Chuohku, he has a near special surprise as compensation for bestowing them with power that worked the opposite way it was meant to be… Mai — Undecided Out of the canon cast, Mai doesn’t harbour any particular hatred to any of them. They remain mostly neutral, with any sort of dislike pointing towards behaviour around them, whether natural or fixed based on their presence. Maybe Otome was the next person on this list…But is there something about her that doesn’t seem to gravelly upset them with their hostage status? Yuno — Rei Now, hate would be a strong word…Okay, not exactly in his terms. Yuno just finds the Hypnosis Microphone creator to be rather interesting. Though he holds a major dislike to Chuohku and any sort of criminal, it’s possible with the limited hostility that he hasn’t put him in a specific category. Shockingly, Rei actually holds sympathy on the team for being the next set of Guinea pigs after the governments move on a new way to exorcise the power of their invention.

do u have any thoughts about the kind of hypothetical relationships nagant could've had with other villains ( the league, shie hassaikai, mla, etc) if they had ever been explored in canon?
hey anon, thanks for the ask. the answer to your question is yes, kinda, and not yet. but by the time i am done writing out this post the answer will be yes, yes, and hell yeah.
i have definitely thought about lady nagant's interaction with the lov. mostly because (exposed) i'm a dabihawks shipper and i also subscribe to the fanon that lady nagant and hawks knew each other a little bit more than canon would imply. though i think with kaina's personality she was probably a little bit closed off, even with little keigo, but she was definitely big sister-ing, just from a comfortable emotional distance. anyway au kaina gives dabi the scariest shovel talk he'll ever receive, and all she did was point the barrel of her elbow at him and say "watch yourself".
the other league members think shes cool. mostly. i think there would be preliminary distrust due to her hero status but then they get to know her a bit and discover that she actually has good takes. i think shiggy could appreciate that shes critical of hero society without just regurgitating stain's beliefs. she has her own perspective and firsthand experience to back it up. he mentally adds her grievances to the compiled list of "reasons why the lov are committing unspeakable crimes against humanity, if anyone ever bothers to ask"
(cut for length)
i have kinda thought about kaina's interaction with the shie hassaikai, but mostly through the lens of her and chisaki. honestly the 8pods would be like. she's god. for real. or maybe she's actually the devil. chisaki already fills the god position for them and kaina clearly doesn't fear god (chisaki) so she's just a different beast entirely. basically they are all shocked by how casually and oftentimes brusquely she talks to chisaki. kaina herself is a bit weirded out by the 8pods insane worship of chiskai. "he's just a guy???? he's not even that cool cmon guys what am i missing…" chisaki grumbles "stop telling them that, it took a lot of effort to convince them im god" /j
okay jokes aside i think kaina would sympathize heavily with many of the 8pods downtrodden experiences. i mean she sympathized with chisaki, which not even the paragon of forgiveness and saving everyone (midoriya) was really willing to do. let's be real, for as much as kaina has a cold shell, she's very very gooey and warm on the inside and she sees this ragtag group of wet cats that chisaki scraped off the street, and she adopts them. with her unique brand of acting like she doesn't care when actually her heart aches whenever she thinks about what they went through.
i just want to preface this next part by saying that i'm a little bit biased against the mla. not to say that they're bad characters or that it's wrong to like or enjoy them, but from a personal standpoint i've never found them as compelling as other villains. i mean their motive is like. borrowed from another guy. and maybe if they had personal experiences with quirk discrimination, like toga or tabe, they might be more sympathetic. its not that they don't have a point, its just that its obvious that all of the members have a lot of privilege, and it makes me wonder how well they actually understand what destro wanted for society. also their motive is kinda funky because its a lot more relevant to the time literal decades ago that destro was actually living in. not saying that quirk discrimination isn't a thing in present day canon but like. we see it in the opposite direction that the mla sees it. we see people who are quirkless be treated like they're worthless. and the mla seems to want a society that only reinforces this issue, by assigning value to people based off of their quirks.
this is all to say that (i'm projecting) lady nagant would probably not like the mla that much. even putting aside whether their motives and beliefs are sympathetic or not, i think kaina would see the obvious privilege that they have, the pressed suits and influence and wealth, and be like. damn. did society really hurt you or did it actively benefit you? i also think on an individual level, members like curious and trumpet would irk her. like, btw, i love curious and i think that her being a media piranha makes her interesting, but also kaina would think she's incredibly annoying and invasive. kaina would also aliken trumpet to the hero commission, with his (what is essentially) brainwashing of his followers.
at the same time though, i think kaina has probably carried out hits on people like the mla. and although she may not agree with their ideology, she doesn't think that means they should be silenced. let the people speak, even if she thinks they're insane and wrong. because she believes that people deserve to have the whole, unfiltered truth, and then make their own judgements.
tl;dr on the mla thing. she wouldn't be besties with them, but she wouldn't necessarily hate them or anything. probably just scoff whenever they try to talk to her. like ok, re-destro, whatever you say (internally thinks he's stupid).
a more light hearted headcanon could be curious hounding kaina for the "untold story of the treacherous hero" etc etc. they develop an unfriendly rivalry in that kaina spends a lot of time trying to avoid curious and curious spends a lot of time hunting her down. maybe they have hate sex. this sounds like the plot for a crazy enemies to lovers slow burn rarepair nagacurious that i will not be writing. but yeah that could happen. maybe even throw curious character development in for flavor. i mean it starts out with curious relentlessly pursuing lady nagant, it evolves into "ok my interest in you has evolved from just pure journalism and now i'd like to kiss you and go on dates" and at some point lady nagant actually explains her tragic backstory, and the character growth moment is curious not betraying kaina's trust, and actually keeping the juicy details to herself. to reiterate delusional: i will not be writing this fic.
anyway thanks so much for the ask, anon. most of this was like. crack taken seriously and definitely in an au, but yeah. i love thinking about lady nagant, and i really enjoyed considering how she might mesh with the other villains in the series.

For the Snape asks: 4,7, and 34 please. 😁
4. Do you think Snape remained a virgin?
Yes.
I shall elaborate: I absolutely do not think that Snape had sex at school, he was pretty young before SWM so that's statistically unlikely, and then afterwards he's been pantsed in front of the whole school and then made a laughing stock of himself by begging Lily to forgive him and being rejected. This is a humongous, public humiliation and social suicide. He would have been completely untouchable after this, the most pathetic person in the school. So no, nobody would have slept with him before he graduated.
Afterwards, he's got the choice of paying, random encounters, or death eaters. Paying and random encounters require a personality that is willing to go out and meet people and engage in small talk, even just a little. This is demonstrably not Snape. And the death eaters would not want him, he's a half blood, the only half blood death eater. He's still untouchable in this company.
Once he becomes a spy the risk that someone might, however erroneously, try and get to him through an intimate acquaintance is just too high for him to contemplate.
I just cannot realistically see him prioritizing this, given what we see of his lack of self-indulgence in every other area.
7. Which staff member do you think gets along well with Snape?
So this is a very specific question. I fully do not believe any of them were his friends (no, not even Minerva, they were friendly but not friends). But the question is who got along well with him.
In terms of lack of friction, that is, never really arguing, I think it's Filch. They have similar goals: make the students behave. And similar attitudes: fuck them kids. So I reckon they mostly had very banal interactions and never any real animosity once Filch remembered Snape was staff now and stopped trying to put him in detention for being out after curfew.
34. Do you have any Snape NOTPs?
Hahahaha. Yes. All of them.
I mean not really but also yes kind of?
So definitely all marauder/Snape ships are NOTP to me. Which isn't to say I'll never read them, and good writing makes up for a lot, but that's not Snape. That's some other guy.
I find snarry and snamione to be the most tolerable of all Snape ships because the characters are malleable enough that the character growth required for them to be plausibly in a relationship with Snape and that not be horrible for Snape is still possible. But on the other hand, he's been a shitty horrible teacher to them, very recently, so it's just kinda uhhh... Hard work?
My base position is that none of the canon characters are good enough for him. Which is to say that I need to be convinced in the story for the ship to work at all for me.
Oh man these three really make it sound like I like Snape the way a collector loves action figures: untouched and alone in a box forever. This is.... Not true. I adore reading romances with Snape, I'm just super picky and easily frustrated.

I wish to hear about the knd oc
>:3c
Give us the lore Silly!!!!
Sososo sorry for taking so long to get to this! Admittedly I was putting this off simply because theres so much lore! I'll be adding a cut to this because with me summarizing stuff, it's still a lot! I'll try to break it up in sections, since there are different.. chapters... for lack of a better word.. this ocs entire life is plotted out! From early childhood to present day when the show takes place! That's a lot of lore considering the character is well into adulthood by the time the main series happens!
Apologies if it's all over the place and some points are.. whack.. this is my first time putting everything into writing! I'll also need to talk about other ocs so this main one can make sense, mostly it'll be talking about their sector, in regards to other ocs! Also its 3am at the time of writing this + my stomach is being MEAN
With all that said, let's hope this doesnt turn into a novel!
Also also** lore may contradict what's in canon, maybe.. I'm not sure! I'm still not done reading the comics and I havent touched anything GKND so I'm unsure if theres any extra info that in unaware of that would complicate things
Feel free to send any questions about the oc!! Lore stuff, interactions with canon characters, ect!
cws: mentions of controlling/toxic parents but i dont go too in depth about it but just know that this is a part of her story. mentions of sexism as well, obligatory its there because "admin uses his ocs to process his experience with his gender as well as being afab and other stuff" but i dont go toooooo deep into it
Name; Rose Wood
Pronouns; she/her
Age; obviously since we're sliding around all over her time line I'll let you know based in the section... but shes in the same age group as Benedict and Monty
Appearance, present day; short, rocking a chubby mom bod! Red hair that's a little faded with a prominent streak of grey. Green eyes. Very curly and fluffy hair! Not sold on a length, but currently it's just last her shoulders! Often wears cardigans or sweaters, though I'm yet to make an "official" outfit for her... her default outfit! Short :( she stopped growing in her early/mid teens height wise, about 5'5
Appearance, KND era; assuming this is in the later half of her time as a KND operative shes tall by kid standards (assuming like. 4'6 is the average for girls as google is telling me). Lanky!! Very long hair, hair is more vibrant but that's really just a design choice rather than an in universe thing. Hair changes length, it starts at mid back but she cuts it to her jaw a few months before shes decommissioned. No default outfit but she swaps between her school uniform and baseball uniform (sports kid before her dad made her stop!!)
Personality; very sweet and kind, patient.. however shes no nonsense, though that develops slowly over time and really roots and shows itself in her young adult years. Lots of internalized feelings, as a child and teen, she feels she had to suck it up and put on a happy face because to do anything else would be "unbecoming", at least according to her parents. As an adult shes oblivious to the whole child vs adult war and doesnt realize how serious it is, shes just vibing
Occupations, past and current; knd operative (decommissioned), teacher (current)
Family; she doesnt talk to her parents all that much however she keeps in touch with her grandfather (very old, think 80s, rose was an oops baby + so was her dad LMAO), and 2 younger sisters. She does have other family members however they're not very fleshed out currently. She does have a son who is a teen by the time the main series takes place! Maybe I'll make a short follow up post on him!
Former Sector teammates, numbers and names; Numbuh 246 (Rose Wood), Numbuh 165 (Jamie Robinson), Numbuh 162 (Kimberly "Kimmy" Wilson), Numbuh 527 ("Sammy" Jones), Numbuh 129 (Davis Peterson) (the leader of the sector)
i'll probably make a separate post for her teammates, this post is already pretty long LMAO
KND days;
she joined within the very early days of the KND, after monty started it. i would go further and say shes a "first generation" knd operative, being there when they fought and overthrew grandfather. she didnt actually join a sector until the last year or two of her time as an operative, working solo prior on missions and helping built up the operation. thanks to her experience, she was sent to go basically work and "pass off her knowledge" before shes decommissioned.
a actually wrote in parallels between her sector and sector v for thematic reasons but i wont get into that here; but if i had to make a comparison shes like the numbuh 5 of the group. fairly level headed and in tune with whats going on as well as being able to step up when it counts to push through on a mission
"if she was sent to basically pass her experience, why wasnt she made the leader?". tight schedule on her part, parents cared a lot about keeping up appearances and they worked rose like a horse by having her sign up to a bunch of extra curriculars + her having her share of chores as well as her parents being strict. she just did not have a lot of time to spare. a lot of her ark is her slowly becoming more and more independent as time passes, but as of now shes pulling herself between being this model student to appease her parents and fighting for the knd's cause. ironic given the whole fighting against adult tyranny thing
there was some friction in the beginning when she first joined the sector, shes the second newest member the newest being 527 (Sammy). a lot of coming from 165 (Jamie), actually throws her failures in her face if they ever fumble a mission because of her whole history. they do eventually become buddies though, but its a slow burn!
she does get what she was sent to do done before she turns 13, her decommissioning is your standard decommissioning albeit with some pizzazz; she was a first gen operative but she was one of the last remaining ones at that time so its like. a whole chapter ending in their history with only a handful of others remaining. she doesnt get to be a secret operative
Teenager;
probably the most underdeveloped part of her story, i mostly focused on her childhood as well as the present day.. so this section and early adulthood is a little under baked. a lot of the themes as before are still here, overbearing and controlling strict parents completely dominate her time so she doesnt have much time to just. be. she does end up reconnecting with some of her old teammates, but theyre all of course decommissioned at this point in time. the only one who is still an operative is sammy, but thats due to them being so young in comparison to the rest of the sector and even then theyre at the end of their time as an operative. due to the whole "operatives arent to mess with the lives of ex operatives" rule thats mentioned, sammy doesnt interact much with rose or the others unless they approach them first.
main thing to note is that rose and davis have a short fling that quickly burns out due to teens being dumb: short explanation davis was insecure and jealous and rose did not want to deal with that on top of everything else going on with her. good for her for looking out for her health
she was not an evil teen, though, far too deep in her studies to really do anything rebellious as well as being afraid of falling behind and disappointing her parents
around this time, not long after her and davis break up her and her family moves out of town
Young adult;
she went NC with her parents not long after she turned 18, moving out soon after. she does keep in touch with her younger siblings, though. the breaking point was really her parents confirming that theyre disappointed with her existence. literally all but saying they wish they had a son instead of a daughter as a first born, lots of old values/views there that finally pushes rose over the edge. noting now that rose did have some feelings about her gender but never really explored it due to feeling the need to conform + this takes place pre 2000s so... but moving forward she does start to embrace herself and slowly take the time to get to know herself now that shes got the time and space to do so. i do like the idea of her experimenting between now and present day, and while she does eventually lean more towards presenting feminine there are instances where shes presenting more masc/feels more masc
while at college she meets someone, obligatory "i havent given him a name yet", they get together. everythings good, they have a kid. they break up. im still cooking up a reasoning for why they split but for now its just "they changed because they got married young, and now theyre older"
Present day;
a few years before the events of the show she moves back to town, i was going to say she moves in during the current events but i decided to be nice and give her a chance to get accustomed to being back in her hometown. i havent decided how it happens but she ends up getting in with the villains but like. not in the way that shes a villain too, in the "shes like the nice lady from down the street who makes some killer brownies so we all vibe with her". kind of just started as a joke that i turned into the canon for her because i can... kind of see that happening... this leads to her meeting benedict, blah blah she vaguely remembers him, they catch up and it leads to them getting together
i actually didnt originally ship them because "ooooooooouuugh father kinda...." actually it was because "the delightfuls need a decent parent figure because GOD!! i love father and my take on him does soften him a bit with time but GOOD LORD" and then it mixed with that and the "ooooooough hes kinda..." LMAO
not much to say other than shes the cool mom at the PTA meetings and just gets along with everyone, probably thinks the delightfuls and sector v are friends. which drives both of them up the wall they HATE it LMAO
Post series finale;
Dead/j
Okay well, that's just a concept. Admittedly I dont know what to do with her after the series finale takes place. Logically one can assume she just continues on with her day to day because shes not really involved in the fight against children, shes quite literally. Vibing and staying in her own lane asides from when she gets dragged into things by the people around her; even then shes still.. oblivious.. not much different than how Monty reacts to the knd stuff, when hes not recommissioned. Simply thinking it's this elaborate game of sorts, ESPECIALLY if she were to get dragged in through the delightfuls (who are. You know, effectively her step children thanks to her relationship with father)

STARCLAN’S LAST RESORT AU NOTES #1
Been meaning to update with some ideas on this AU but have really been struggling art wise, so here are some random world/character building thoughts and ideas I have currently.
The story takes place in the old forest after deforestation, and the entire surrounding area is sort of post apocalyptic/ barren and almost purgatory like, though as to why this is and how the sudden destruction of the clans happened is still under construction.
THUNDERCLAN
I’ve already decided the first “main” group that gets revived in Thunderclan are Scourge, Princess, Smudge, Swiftpaw, Shrewpaw, Snowkit, Mosskit, Elderkit, Tulipkit, Juniperkit, and Dandelionkit. All of them were chosen based on unfair deaths and each cat’s connection to Firestar or Tigerclaw/star in some way.
Other returning Thunderclan members currently under consideration are: Thrushpelt, Frecklewish, Birchface, Speckletail, Snowfur, Bluestar’s parents, Swiftpaw and Snowkit’s siblings, Mapleshade’s kits, Honeyfern, and possibly Briarlight.
ABSOLUTELY returning next would be: Pinestar, Leopardfoot and her kits, and Goosefeather, which I feel could add a lot of drama and unique interactions based on unresolved feelings from the earlier events of the books.
A possible change would be changing some parents of characters to prevent inbreeding or odd story choices (ie Darkstripe being the father of Brindleface’s kits), though I fully intend to properly address the extremely uncomfortable abuse/manipulation in relationships and large age gaps that are brushed over in canon, as well as bringing up some character traits that are often overlooked or ignored in said canon as well.
One of the main ones I’ve discovered is Stormtail, Bluestar’s father, who’s alarming behavior has been mostly overlooked. Including his age gap relationship with Moonflower, his bullying and pretty much implied attempted murder on Goosefeather, the neglect of his kits till they live up to his expectations, and of course, his implied affair with Dappletail, which also concerns an age gap. I hope to expand on these details with lesser looked at characters like this some time in the events of the AU
Finally for Thunderclan, Scourge would receive a leader role but would not have nine lives, and would possibly mentor Swiftpaw or Snowkit. I’m also considering Snowkit becoming a medicine cat, but not as a way to push him in there because of his deafness. Since the clans have been destroyed and rebuilt with these revived cats, I feel some warrior code would change, idk if Scourge would really want to keep everything exactly the same if he’s now in control of clan life. Snowkit would be a sort of battle medic, doing both warrior and med cat duties equally. Swiftpaw and Shrewpaw would gain a friendship, along with Snowkit and Mosskit! Snowkit would also support Goosefeather in many ways.
Pinestar would return but still be extremely distant and attempt to live as a loner in the new barren world, though he would definitely keep being pulled back into clan life and his inescapable actions. Also learning about his revived kits, his grandson, and his great grandchildren (Dandelion & Juniper), would probably affect him in some way. Him and Leopardfoot are divorced (yippee!!! 🎉🎉) but still struggle with having to work together to keep the future of the clan safe.
As for the other clans!! I don’t have a ton but here’s what’s gonna possibly happen there.
RIVERCLAN
Do you remember Whiteclaw?? No?? He was Leopardstar’s apprentice who fell over the gorge. He apparently also had a crush on Silverstream before his death. I feel him and Thrushpelt could relate to have one sided crushes on girls who end up not being at all interested in them and having a romance with the neighboring clan cats instead. (Solidarity) Willowbreeze would return with her kits as well as Brightsky and her kits (Leopardstar’s mom)
SHADOWCLAN
There is some Lord Of The Flies stuff probably happening in Shadowclan, so many apprentices and kits died there from Brokenstar’s reign among other things, daycare has gotten out of control.
WINDCLAN
Also a lot of dead apprentices in Windclan! I thought there would be a similar scenario, except Antpelt comes back and has to babysit all of them. Also possibly maybe Darktail’s unnamed newborn siblings join???
EDIT: JUST REALIZED I PUT FERNCLOUD INSTEAD OF BRINDLEFACE FOR DARKSTRIPE’S MATE I’M SORRY
#also been thinking of extremely background cats or even cats without names#possibly Troutstream or Songbird#Songbird died while she was pregnant in a battle!!! :(((( She needs a chance#some cats also died of cancer or seizures which is also super sad might bring them back#kittypets loners and rouges may also come back if there needs to be variety#au#alternate universe#warriors au#wc#wc au#Starclan’s Last Resort AU#warrior cats#post apocalyptic#post apocalypse#scourge#princess#smudge#Tulipkit#Elderkit#Shrewpaw#Swiftpaw#Dandelionkit#Juniperkit#Snowkit#mosskit#Whiteclaw#Willowbreeze#Brightsky#warriors#antpelt

Hi hi pixelrhys again do you have any fun AUs for your Terraria guys because I'm looking at you with big eyes. Do you ever consider making some if you don't have any?
This ended up rather long as I went into a big infodump, so I’m gonna toss it all under the cut!
Kinda yes, kinda no! It depends on how loosely you define AU -- Chris and Andrew (and sometimes others) occasionally get thrown into other things I’m doing, but I don’t have many actually-thought-out AUs of Purity Town proper. PT does have a sort of "levels of canon" thing going on such that the more self-indulgent ideas I have aren't really canon but are just for fun for myself, but none of them are fleshed out enough that they've gone beyond a one-off doodle here or there. (That category mostly consists of random ship stuff, fun character interactions like various characters being a part of the Lunatic Cult, indulgent fun with Chris' powers/power level and star theme, fun with Andrew's personal powers, and so on.) Things that don't go beyond a one-sentence idea, essentially. That also includes a lot of wildly differing post-game ideas that haven't yet been ironed out, though admittedly I haven't even posted most of the ideas I've had for hardmode, so that doesn't count for much.
Chris, Andrew, Alalia (the Dryad), and the Lunatic Cultist (kind of -- name irrelevant, roughly the same character) all appear as NPCs in a D&D setting I’ve been working on and off for a couple years now. The simple background of the setting as it relates to them specifically is that an age ago a civilization of arcane casters (“Ascendants”) inhabited a giant crystal cluster that grew after a star fell to earth, but all disappeared in an instant with the coming of a new god that replaced the sky. Chris, Andrew, and the LC were members of this civilization. Andrew was a Watcher, a unique role among the Ascendants for those with expertise in divination magic that allowed them to monitor the goings-on of their kingdom, a job that required a uniquely strong sense of self and strong discipline to avoid being swept away in the tide of information. Due to this quality, he was approached by the LC as a participant in a project to elevate a mortal soul into artificial godhood, but this initial attempt somewhat-failed as Andrew clawed his eyes out (and then refused any magical restoration) to reduce the amount of sensory overload his newfound godhood imparted on him. The LC also approached Chris to join them in a follow-up experiment, but he declined because he thought their research was bullshit (it was based on the true theory that reality, magic, mortal souls, and the souls of gods are all made up of the same fundamental material called Waver, but he didn’t think they had the technology to manipulate it in such a way). Chris instead worked on his own research, basically an in-universe equivalent of astrophysics-but-for-magic, studying how their world’s binary-planet (a gas dwarf named Sigil) and moon (a much smaller moon named Luna) influenced local spellcasting. When the LC’s next experiment killed every remaining Ascendant by ripping their souls from their bodies and forming them into a single light in the sky, Andrew survived due to the aforementioned partial-godhood and Chris survived due to working in a magic-insulated lab, and both were rendered unable to die as their souls were permanently bound to their bodies. Between then and the present day/start of the campaign after the crystal has been re-settled over centuries by non-Ascendants (forming the city/state of Lighthaven/Newveil), Chris starts a wizard school under the title of Wishmaster Delha, makes a magical crown to place a new king on the throne, fakes his death, and nowadays just hangs out selling potions to foolish adventurers. Andrew, on the other hand, started a mostly made-up religion around the new sky before dipping out of the spotlight and in the present day lives with Chris, helping him with his potions where able. Alalia is also present in the setting as the elvish-archdruid (i.e. not immortal but very very long-lived) leader of a druid community who oversees most of the area’s crops and natural trade goods of the area, and hates Chris/Andrew partially for being immortals, partially for being Ascendants, and partially because Chris keeps selling questionable not-druid-approved potions on the black market solely to piss her off.
Chris is also my player character for a Drakkenheim campaign (and Andrew is kinda there too)! The TL;DR of Drakkenheim is that 15 years prior to the start of the campaign, an eldritch meteor fell from the sky and hit the city of Drakkenheim, destroying much of the city and leaving the rest blanketed in a contaminating Haze, transforming the dead into monsters and making magic within the bounds of the city go haywire. In this setting, Chris is a human fighter (eldritch knight) who is mageborn (i.e. has the gene that makes people capable of channeling wizard/sorcerer magic -- relevant because mageborns have additional social-legal restrictions placed upon them due to the continent once being ruled by evil sorcerer kings and the fear of that happening again). Because of his weak magical ability and having grown up in the countryside and then having to move due to the spreading corruption as a refugee following the meteor, he missed out on being tested by the Amethyst Academy for magic and so didn’t learn about his powers until adulthood. He then had a very short stint at the Amethyst Academy before being kicked out for lack of ability, and over the next few years moved back in with his parents, met Andrew, learned another language, taught himself sword fighting, and decided to head to Drakkenheim to work as an adventurer for money and on the side try to research a way to control and eventually contain/destroy the spreading contamination that had destroyed his childhood home, while also trying to grow his own magical abilities. Kind of awkwardly, the Amethyst Academy mage NPCs tend to ignore his existence and belittle him, sole exception being his ex-teacher/ex-Academy-mage Ryan Greymere who’s also working to cleanse the city. Chris in this setting is also mildly religious (in a "it doesn't matter if it's inherently true to the world or if it gained power through people believing in it because in the end it exists and I grew up with it" kind of way), following a religion that instead of believing in a god like many of the old nature religions believes in a light of goodness inside of people. This puts him in an even more uncomfortable spot as the first paladins of this religion were renowned for freeing the continent from the ancient sorcerer kings, and thus said religion is the cause of a lot of the anti-mageborn movements floating around and the source of some nasty comments. Compared to some of the other party members (including but not limited to possibly the last surviving legitimate heir to the throne of Drakkenheim), Chris is very much meant to be Just Some Guy, but is super loyal and very ride or die as far as his relationship with the rest of the party goes (and unlike his first adventuring party, they didn't abandon him, so even better). Which is all good, because he’s not making much money from this, but instead got wrapped up in a plot to put his party member on the throne with hopes of using its power to restore the city. Andrew is kind of also present in this setting in that he’s an elven cleric of the same religion Chris follows, and is my backup character if Chris is killed. He’s Chris’ partner, and stayed with Chris’ family after Chris went off to start an adventuring career in Drakkenheim, giving him an excuse to join the party if Chris dies.
I haven’t posted much about the D&D setting I’ve been working on, but I’ll occasionally post Drakkenheim doodles when I have the energy to draw. Sometimes they include other party members, and sometimes it just sneaks into more generic Chris-as-a-character posts, as without specifically drawing his armor/scarring/party members it’s hard to distinguish his Drakkenheim design from his Terraria one. With the armor and scarring it comes off closer to his hardmode design, but as mentioned, I haven’t posted much hardmode content so that’s pretty irrelevant haha. And then as for all of the assorted self-indulgent one-off ideas, I just often don't feel up to drawing them, so they get to live in my brain rent-free instead, haha.
#Sorry this took a while to respond to#It's been a busy couple of days#I hope this is an interesting read nonetheless!

//For the most part, I just tag things based on what part of the canon timeline they fall into. Veilguard will not be considered canon on this blog, so I will continue to use post-Trespasser for events that align with it. The verses listed below are simply to allow Lavellan to interact with other Inquisitors and Rooks
1. DA:I Companion
Lavellan was still sent to the Conclave, and may still be the one who received the Mark (maybe they even both have it). If he did, however, rather than putting him in charge based on nothing but superstitious rumors and the fact that he seemed easy to manipulate, the advisors decided to name someone more competent as the Inquisitor. If he didn't, maybe he was running late (and therefore wasn't close enough to be killed) or maybe he just got really lucky, but he was only caught up in the explosion enough to still be left with total amnesia. If you come from the same clan and were close to the orphaned outsider who never quite fit in, you can try to help him remember who he is, and maybe that's why you take him along with you occasionally. If you think he's better off not knowing that he was dropped off with the clan because his mother died and that his presence was mostly just tolerated and not truly wanted there, if you had never paid much attention to him before, or if you were part of a different group attending the Conclave, he would instead be approached by Solas for help with restoring his memories, and he'd likely approach him for help remembering his past before the clan, regardless. It's possible Solas even tried to prime him as an agent of Fen'Harel during this process, but he would never accept the heavy loss of life brought on by tearing down the Veil. And there are various reasons he could end up tagging along on certain missions with the Inquisitor, like still having the Mark, advisors requiring him to in hopes he can be used to report honestly on the Inquisitor's actions, members of the Inner Circle he's grown close to bringing him for their own reasons, or your genuine interest in having him join you, but no matter what, he'll be eager to fight injustice and help others, will prove himself a decent tracker and, eventually, fighter, and will be a loyal friend if given the chance to.
2. DA:4 Companion (spoilers below)
Whether he became the Inquisitor, received the Mark, or is simply a man who survived the Conclave at the expense of his memories, Lavellan's close relationship to Solas and Varric would see him on the front lines of any major events involving the Dread Wolf and Evanuris. He would believe Solas could be saved, even if he'd been trying to stop him for as inexplicably long as a decade, and he'd probably at least join Varric, if not take his place in confronting his old mentor. If, for some reason, a knife (bc the idol was not originally a bladed weapon) was still part of the ritual and Varric was still killed, he would be devastated, and it's highly unlikely Rook wouldn't know the truth of what happened with him around. He would also have some experience with Solas being in his head, even if his instances were voluntary, from the attempts to restore his memory, and if he'd at least gotten the Mark during the Conclave, he'd also likely have drunk from the Well of Sorrows and, if they knew Solas had absorbed Mythal's power, he'd understand the fear of a magical/mental connection being used against him too. Such a connection to Mythal could also either be a boon or an added danger if Mythal's spirit was still approached for aid. No matter what happened in this version of events*, though, his unique insight into Solas's mindset, ability to potentially sympathize and reason with agents of Fen'Harel, his ability to see the Crossroads in color, his combat prowess, his connections, and his endless determination all add to his usefulness in this fight to save the world.
*Even if there's a new "main character" or Lavellan was only a companion to a different Inquisitor, I request that changes are at least made to make the events more compliant with the lore of the past 3 games. Solas can still use the idol and/or a dagger, but I'm not going to pretend the idol always was a dagger and that any enchantments have always existed on the blade itself. There may no longer be Agents of Fen'Harel, and he may have stopped using Arlathan as his main base, but we should figure out the reason behind those things. There's a lot more, but I'm still working on the post listing my issues with Veilguard, including things it ignored, things it tried to retcon, bad mechanics, poorly written characters/concepts, topics that were mishandled, and rejected concepts I wish they'd gone forward with. All I absolutely request changed are the things it tried to retcon, but I'd be more than happy to plot out a combination of our ideal versions of what this game could have been.

SEARCHING FOR CO ADMINS FOR A OC SPN DISCORD RP GROUP. Age Range : 20 yrs old and up (for muns, characters, and faceclaims) Hi! My name is Ari! I am 23 yrs old and I have begun setting up a discord rp group server for an oc supernatural themed rp. I am currently looking for people interested in running the group alongside me as well as aiding in building the rp together (from deepening the plot, building locations, writing the species lore, etc). I am also looking for people who would want to be in said group, even if they don’t wish to be an admin. One does not need to take on an admin role to aid with ideas for the rp, if they want to contribute them as a prospective member!
I have quite a few things set up already, so mostly all that's left is the fun worldbuilding part and then the actual running of the group! Let me tell you a bit about logistics! I have three servers set up and built already! There is one for ooc stuff (general ooc chat, info about the rp (plot, rules, lore), applying for roles, asking questions, posting plotting calls and starter calls, etc). There is one for in character interactions (text interactions and paragraph rp), and there is one for all the characters within the rp (where all members can post their character info in their own set of character channels for all members to see). I have already added tupperbox to the server, and have many ideas about other immersive character channels (like an instagram feed).
There will be an option to play either a human oc or a supernatural oc. The species I’ve been focusing on including in the rp are : demons, fae, fallen angels, ghosts, phoenixes, sirens, vampires, werewolves, and witches. Each species will have its own base lore (built up by myself and any other co admins) that is canon throughout all members of the group who are that species (with lots of room for members to add their own unique spin and backstories within it). The lore will include abilities and weaknesses and origin story / history info specific to each species and canon within the rp. I have one species done already as a template for the other species, which I am hoping to build up with someone else, or a few others!
Now that I’ve explained all the background info, let's get to the good part, my base plot. It needs to be worked up and rewritten, but this is the idea I have so far. - Start of Plot - Long ago there was a small and ancient civilization where supernatural beings of all kinds lived harmoniously amongst one another. It wasn’t a life without some conflict, but it was a civilization that had governing law and order. All beings that resided within had learned to co-exist, living a life that shielded them from the unaccepting and dangerous humans living in the rest of the world. It was common for people that were the same type of supernatural being to stick together, but also not unheard of for different species to mingle and interact. It was a world without the worry of being discovered by society. The creatures living there were unworried about the consequences of ‘normal’ people learning of their existence.
Then everything changed.
As the population on earth grew and humans decided to set out and explore the earth, eventually their ancient society was discovered. A war broke out and supernatural being were pitted against humans in a battle that raged on for months. The supernatural beings held their own, dragging the battle on due to their enhanced abilities. However, the humans had the benefit of outnumbering the creatures they fought against and eventually the war started to come to a close. It looked as if the humans were going to rein victorious, and so the remaining supernatural beings did the only thing they could think to do, they surrendered. The human settlers wanted the land that the supernatural were residing in, and the supernatural had lost the fight to protect their home. They fled from the civilization, but this was not the end of things.
As time passed, many supernatural beings spoke of the place where they used to live free and unbothered by humans. Eventually, the story spread to other places in the world and soon there was a large and rallied group of supernatural creatures that wanted to take the land back. They made up a plan of action, and stormed the human civilization that had taken their home from them. A second war was on the brink of breaking out and the humans knew this time they would be no match for the supernatural, their army was much bigger this time around and they were fuelled by years of anger and resentment.
In order to ensure their survival, the human in charge of the civilization begged the leader of the supernatural army to sit down and speak with them. Humans and supernatural representatives sat down and eventually made a treaty, agreeing to share the land and co-exist together. They renamed the civilization Nirvana, and set out to make sure that all that lived within it were safe and protected.
Many years passed and society modernized, moving into the present day.
Nirvana is still standing, and it is still inhabited by humans and supernatural creatures alike. Many of the supernaturals from the past have since moved on from Nirvana, and all of the humans who lived back then had passed on to the next life. Over time, the story of how the town came to be was lost to the general public. Those that did speak of a time when supernatural beings lived within the town were often called imaginative or crazy. Most of the human population that live there believe the history to be nothing more than folklore passed down from generation to generation. Little do they know that their home is stilled shared by beings of all kinds and mystery and magic loom around every corner.
- End of Plot -
If you have made it all the way to the end of this long winded message, I applaud you. If this seems like something you would be interested in, I would love to talk more with you about everything and answer any questions you may have! I would also adore to hear any ideas you have, as I truly am looking to collaborate with someone, or a few people, on this! If you like this post or message me in DMS here I will get back to you! If you’d like to reach me sooner and more effectively, I am more present and reachable more frequently on discord. My username on discord is ariberry00
