The Jewish concept of being the “Chosen People” is often misunderstood. It’s not about superiority, but a unique covenant with God—one that comes with extra responsibilities, not privileges. Jews are tasked with living by the Torah, upholding justice, and being a light unto the nations.
Judaism teaches that God has a relationship with all people. Non-Jews who follow the Seven Noahide Laws are seen as righteous with a share in the World to Come.
While some Christians and Muslims have their own interpretations of chosenness—like tahrif in Islam or replacement theology in Christianity—Judaism’s message remains clear: chosenness is about service, not separation.
Unfortunately, this idea has been distorted by antisemites who falsely claim it’s about supremacy.
But at its core, chosenness is a sacred mission to build a more just and compassionate world.

Our oneness with God extends to everyone. We recognize ourselves. As we repair ourselves, we contribute to the healing of the world. True change begins from within, acknowledging both the good and bad in life as part of the divine process. By understanding that we are not in control but rather are co-creators with God, we become more attuned to the flow of life and work in harmony with it. This inner work will affect all external systems. Our spiritual awakening is the most powerful force that reveals a transformation that affects us all from the inside out. ✨️
Our work is to cultivate self-awareness, humility, and compassion, seeing both the divine and human aspects in all things. This path leads us toward greater unity, not just within ourselves but within the world systems all around us. ✨️

has anyone else ever had a fanfic that just... haunts them? like it's been months and maybe even years since you read it, but it just lingers with you and you can never truly leave behind the imprint it made on you? and maybe it's just a single line, one sentence that you can't shake off, that takes up residence in your mind and stays there, feeding into your psyche and subtly influencing your brainspace and maybe even your writing or other works?

Jewish changemakers are making their mark on the world—and Time is taking notice. From artists and scientists to lawyers and activists, this year’s TIME100 list honors Jewish voices who are shaping culture, fighting injustice, and standing up in the face of rising hate.
They’re not just influencing the world—they’re helping to change it.

This video is a great place to start being educated about the history of this conflict. I've seen posts that say this kind of violence shouldn't have to be contextualized, that the war and violence inflicted upon by Hamas and Palestinians need to be condemned, full stop. Sorry but that just feels like a cop-out, a way to say "no justification is possible for this carnage done to the Jewish people", but when this exact same thing was done to Palestinians and worse, we just accepted it. Yes, it's possible to hold space for compassion for both Israeli and Palestinian civilians while denouncing IDF and Hamas, but it should also be possible to be educated about why this is happening in the first place. This is institutionalized discrimination started by white colonialists, and to this day, we perpetuate that by only starting to care when blonde blue-eyed Israelis start dying.

There is no such thing as a transgender, trans kids do not exist, there is only the mental illness of self hatred and the abuse of children performed by mentally ill parents. This is what it is and it will never change unless we sane people change it. #trans #agenda #gaymanifesto #tikkunolam #savethechildren #childabuse #homosexuals40%pedophiles #transgender #mentallyill #psychmeds https://www.instagram.com/p/CoaEPLFrtae/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

When you hear the phrase “Bad Ass, what do you think of. For me it’s her. If someone is born and or works to have a huge body and or that person arms themselves with lots of weapons; that seems like a gravel armor over the actual person of who they are. But when a small Jewish woman can stand up against the world armed with pure strength of character and intellect and make an actual change in the world for the better... that’s a bad ass. My your memory forever be a blessing. May your memory forever be a motivation. May your memory forever lead the charge of tikkun olam. #ruthbaderginsburg #tikkunolam #repairtheworld https://www.instagram.com/p/CFXZMCuDGpB/?igshid=17ue8372jvr4d

Most people think of charity as a kind act—something you do when you’re feeling generous. But in Judaism, giving isn’t just kindness. It’s justice.
Tzedakah isn’t a “nice to have”—it’s a mitzvah, a sacred obligation to help build a fairer world.
From Maimonides’ ladder of giving to the way we preserve dignity through how we give, tzedakah reminds us that we’re responsible for one another. Always.
Because in Judaism, we don’t wait for the world to change. We help change it.
