Trans Prom 2025 begins next week!

Trans Prom is not a single day or event, but a celebration of trans people and their journey as well as an opportunity for trans individuals to express themselves in ways they may not have been able to. 🩷🩶💙

Everyone is welcome! Trans women, trans men, non binary, fluid, questioning, whatever!

Last year I was a human there and the DJ, this year I have decided to keep the same outfit but go with my wife @buffer-subroutine

It's that time of year again! Trans Prom 2025! :D

I did attend last year, though I don't think I was on Tumblr yet. And I didn't attend as a rat back then either. Gosh, how things can change in a year. XD

That said, I still like classy red dresses, and comfy shoes.

i loved being part of last year’s prom. seeing people draw themselves in the prom fits they never got to wear resonated with me a lot, and i had to hop on. and since there’s more of us in the community, the party will be bigger!

i opted for a very similar dress style as last year’s and kept the bow headband.

if you need me, you can catch me by the bar for a chill, or on the dancefloor if a banger plays!

Trans Prom ‘25 !!! 💜

I wanted to participate in this trend last year but some undisclosed circumstances prevented me from finishing the piece at the time. The dress I chose for this year’s prom was in honour of my late mother’s prom dress that she wore all the way back in 1987.

I want to thank @zaigg for starting this trend!!

Trans prom is for everyone! And when I say everyone, I mean EVERYONE. Transfems, transmascs, nonbinary, questioning, somewhere in the middle, or whatever

Also, like, I'm not transfem either so you're fine.

Trans Prom 2025

Hey there, it's good to be here. I'm new to the trans artist scene. Heck, I'm new to art in general. But I couldn't pass up the chance at joining in on the community's fun started by @zaigg

Prom to me has never been something I imagined myself attending. I've always percieved it as such a western, foreign concept that I had no business engaging with. And even if I lived in a country where prom was the norm, I couldn't possibly enjoy it. Not while I'm not myself.

This event lets me live through prom virtually. As myself. It sounds insignificant, but it's rather exciting in its own way. I don't know anyone in the community of trans artists here, and I'm sure nobody knows me either. But by just contributing my piece of self expression, I feel like I'm taking a leap into the unknown. A hopefully very warm and welcoming unknown. Does any of what I said make sense or have any meaning? Probably. I'm half asleep as I finished off this piece and as I'm writing out this text. You could probably tell from the half assed background art. But hey, this is also the first time I've actually drawn background art.

Enough rambling. Point is, I'm ecstatic to break out of my shell and let my voice be heard in this lovely community that I've been lurking in for years.

It's trans prom time again! I'm a bit late, I've been a bit shutdown recently, but I'm trying to get back on my feet.

I wanted to one up myself from last year, so this time, my darling girlfriend is accompanying me <3
