Hey hey you beautiful people! I didn't join in last year, so i figured I'd give it a shot! Trans prom is something started by @zaigg where you draw your sona or oc in a prom outfit you wish you could have worn!

I actually did get to go to prom as a kid, but honestly i had much more fun watching How to Train Your Dragon with my girlfriend after the fact lol.

Also here's a background for the peeps that wanna join but don't want to draw a background :)

Eyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Trans Prom dress!

I wasn't publicly out or on Tumblr yet when Trans Prom happened last year. But now, now I am out and on Tumblr!

...I mean technically I made a Corpse Run Tumblr for a hot sec like a decade ago, but I'm not sure that counts since I never really used it.

ANYWAY

I've really been opening up to wearing more traditionally feminine clothing (I'll be wearing a skirt to the office for the first time tomorrow!). I was initially having difficulty drawing myself in feminine attire without making myself look embarrassed in order to match my feelings.

But now, I don't know, I feel like kind of comfortable? Excited even?!

So, high school for me was a long time ago, I graduated in 2006. I was a quiet wallflower type of kid, and I didn't go to my prom...

...I went to my fencing club instead that night.

I'm still not really a dance person, but something I definitely am is a long time administrator of youth programs, so being a dance chaperone is more my speed.

Also, I'm pretty old in the grand scheme of Tumblr, so I feel like this desire of mine to watch everyone have fun fits the theme.

I will have a glass of wine while doing so, however.

...and be barefoot.

Apparently the kids at my summer camp I still do some work at call me "the barefoot camera guy".

I like being barefoot, it's comfy!

A lot has changed in a year, huh? I still had feet back then!

Trans Prom was one of the first things that really drove me to want to try and be part of this community and glad to get to be a part of it and to have become a lot more comfortable with the big ocean critter that I am ^^

Trans Prom 2025

It's that time of year again! Trans Prom 2025! :D

I did attend last year, though I don't think I was on Tumblr yet. And I didn't attend as a rat back then either. Gosh, how things can change in a year. XD

That said, I still like classy red dresses, and comfy shoes.

thank you to @zaigg for getting this rolling. I'm actually rocking security detail this year, y'know -- considering everything -- probably a good thing. (that won't mean i'll be completely off the dance floor tho, you couldn't pay me enough to not tear that shit up at least a little)

Alot can change in a year. Last year, I was uncertain about whether to join in or not, whereas this year, we're bringing 8 people lol.

Fashionably late like last time haha! Got here in the end and casually spending it more so this time by the table with punch, a bit more realistic for me. Thanks to @zaigg for getting this thing being a thing Fun fact, I genuinely wore this dress to my maths exam and had a panic attack in it, good to get some punch after the whole shebang though haha :)

May have been a few hours late due to work being annoying, and it may be quite imperfect since I am MUCH more of a writer than an Ibis Paint artist (especially as it's more of an edit collage than a drawing, shoutout to @mush7221 for the background and to www.animebase.ru for the, well, base) but hey, I get to go to Trans Prom, so - worth it!

Hello Tumblr! It's a long time coming, but I've finally made my way to this gay little website haha

For my first post, I wanted to participate in the Trans Prom event hosted by @zaigg. Hopefully I find a bounty of success and community here!! 🏳️‍⚧️

No way I was going to miss Trans Prom this year!

Took me a lil while to figure out what the hell I was gonna wear, but we got there! I'm a big fan of vintage clothing, specifically the '20s through the '50s. So I did some diving to put together an ensemble that I 100% would wear if given the chance!

I tend to be a wallflower myself, so I'll likely join @imstillalexcomic in watching the festivities. That is unless @im-kickn-it drags me to dance with him... ^_^
