#Transformers Prime Crossover

If I got a nickel every time I got invested enough in a MHA crossover to make fanart of the main character in the UA uniform I would get two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s funny it happened twice…

And will probably happen again because I love crossovers in the MHA setting.

The fanfic that inspired me to make the fanart is called “My Prime Academia”. In a nutshell it’s a crossover of Optimus isekaied to the MHA verse after the events of Transformers prime. You can read the fic in wattpad or fanfiction.net.

Inktober 2024 — Day 18 — Drive

Okay, so you know that meme where you draw three comfort characters in a car all looking grumpy and the reference has Goofy driving, Patrick Star in the passenger seat, and Fluttershy in the back? Well that’s what inspired this! I finally got a chance to try it myself.

I actually drew four characters: Galo Thymos, Izuku Midoriya, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Smokescreen (specifically from Transformers Prime). These four have been my go to comfort characters for a while. Shadow in particular has been my favorite for as long as I can remember! My friend actually suggested I draw Smokescreen’s expression up in the corner to make sure it’s conveyed that he is the car they’re driving and that was the right call! (On a side note, I know technically Smokescreen doesn’t have a back seat in TFP since he’s a race car, but I’m giving him one this time)

The story behind the drawing itself is that Izuku once again has broken his hand and needed someone to pick him up. Galo and Smokescreen go to pick him up while Shadow just hangs out in the back. I am really happy with how I was able to convey everyone’s emotions and current states. It was also just a fun excuse to draw some of my favorite characters.

They’re both so tragic. Both generals in a war who would rather live in an era of peace

Two guys who’s best friend has/will betray them and both are good at war but hate war, and said war will destroy their people

Both are symbols of hope to their people in their respective stories

Both were more reckless in their younger years and both have self destructive tendencies and a push to perfection despite feeling quite the opposite.

Optimus Prime who is supposed to be the best of the cybertronians.

Obi-Wan Kenobi who is said to be the model Jedi
