Trey had noticed it from early on. How your sharp tongue could cut through any nonsense in a room. Blunt, critical, and utterly unimpressed by the world around you. You were the type to raise a brow at someone’s outfit, call out fake behavior in a heartbeat, and respond to whining with, “Cry harder.”

But then you’d turn to him and your voice would soften. “Trey~” you’d hum sweetly, wrapping your arms around his waist like you weren’t just verbally eviscerating someone seconds ago. “You brought strawberry tarts again? You spoil me too much.”

He chuckled, resting a hand on your head. “You give people whiplash, y’know?”

You blinked up at him, lips pouting. “You don’t like it when I’m nice to you?”

“Oh, I love it. I just think it's funny that you're sugar and spice with me, and all bite with everyone else.”

You smirk. “That’s because they don’t deserve my sweet side. You do.”

Later, when Ace tried to tease you about how “scary” you were during lunch, you didn’t even bother looking up from your book. “I don’t speak insect.”

Trey arrived a moment later with coffee, and your entire demeanor flipped like a switch. You beamed, eyes sparkling. “My favorite~ Thank you, babe!”

Trey just chuckled again, slipping an arm around your waist. “You’re ridiculous.”

“But you like it”

He couldn't even argue.

Deuce Spade

Deuce was still getting used to the fact that someone like you had chosen him. You weren’t exactly known for your gentle demeanor. You didn’t sugarcoat your words, if someone was being annoying, you said it. If a classmate was dragging down a group project, you didn’t hesitate to call them out, harsh tone and all. The hallways cleared a little quicker when you walked through them.

But the second Deuce walked into the room?Your eyes lit up like the sun itself cracked through stormy clouds.

“Deuce!” you called, smiling so brightly it stunned him. “Come here. I saved you a seat.”

Everyone…everyone… watched the shift like it was some kind of emotional whiplash. You’d just snapped at someone for bumping your desk and now you were resting your head on Deuce’s shoulder, playing with his fingers, humming sweetly.

Deuce flushed red from his ears down to his collar. “U-Um hey, babe…”

You tilted your head, voice soft as honey. “Did you eat today? You better not be skipping meals.”

“I didn’t, I swear!” he fumbled. “I had a sandwich! I’m taking care of myself!”

“Good boy,” you giggled, and he about died.

Meanwhile, Ace muttered from behind you, “It’s like watching a lion nuzzle a bunny…”

You turned slightly and shot him a razor sharp glare. “Keep talking, and I’ll nuzzle you with a chair.”

Ace shut up immediately.

Then you turned back to Deuce, smile sugary and warm again. “Ignore him. You look so handsome today. Did you fix your hair differently?”

Deuce ducked his head, blushing harder than ever. “I—I dunno… maybe…”

Despite being used to your nature, Deuce never really got over how soft you were with him. It made him feel special. Like behind your claws, you were hiding a heart that beat just for him.

And he’d protect it with everything he had.

Kalim Al-Asim

Everyone thought you and Kalim were an odd match. You, with your cold stare and viciously sharp mouth, weren’t exactly known for friendliness. You judged everything and everyone, attitudes, personalities. Nothing escaped your scrutiny.

“Did he really think that eyeliner looked good? He looks like he lost a fight with a sharpie” you’d mutter under your breath, arms crossed, eyes narrowed.

“Why are they trying to flirt with me? I have standards, not a death wish.”

Most people either avoided you or hated the idea of ending up in your bad side.

So when Kalim bounced into the room, all sunshine and glitter, no one expected the way you changed. Because suddenly, you were standing up, beaming.

“Kalim!” you smiled, voice practically musical as you reached out to hug him. “I’ve missed you~”

Kalim's eyes sparkled as he spun you in a dramatic hug. “I missed you more! You didn’t answer my last three texts!Were you busy, or just being a grump again?” he teased with a bright laugh.

You pouted. “I wasn’t grumpy… I was just judging people’s poor life choices. Like how that guy wore socks with sandals yesterday. Tragic.”

Kalim laughed harder. “You're too funny! And kinda mean!”

Anyone watching would’ve sworn you were possessed. You tucked your hand into his arm, leaning your head against his shoulder with a sigh.

“Did you eat today? You know I worry when you get too distracted and forget.”

Kalim grinned, utterly delighted. “I ate! But next time let’s eat together. We can have a picnic!”

Your expression softened even more. “You’re lucky you’re cute… I’d say no to anyone else.”

And you meant it. Kalim brought out something in you that no one else could, kindness, affection, softness. And he never made you feel guilty for the way you acted around others. He liked your version of sweet, the one meant just for him.

It made him feel like the luckiest boy alive.

Rook Hunt

You were a legend among the students of Night Raven College. Sharp tongue, high standards, quick judgments, no one escaped your critiques. Your beauty was striking, but your resting expression could cut glass. You weren’t afraid to speak your mind and had absolutely zero patience for stupid people.

“A ‘fashion statement’? No, that’s just a crime against fabric,” you’d scoff at someone’s outfit.

“Did he really think writing a cheesy poem would win me over? That wasn’t romance, that was public embarrassment.”

The students whispered, Only a fool would try to flirt with her.

But then there was Rook. The moment he appeared, everything changed. Your frosty behavior melted in seconds.

“Rook!” you called out, lighting up. “You’re finally here~ I was starting to wilt without you!”

Rook eyes twinkled as he stepped closer. “Ah, trés magnifique~! What a glorious transformation! To see such a sharp rose soften at my touch c’est un vrai miracle!”

You giggled and batted your lashes. “Stop it, you’ll make me blush…”

The crowd around you? Stunned. Even Vil looked like he was seeing a ghost.

You looped your arm around Rook’s and pulled him close, resting your head against his shoulder like the picture of doting elegance.

“I saved you a seat. I even made you tea, your favorite blend.”

He placed a hand dramatically over his heart. “To receive such affection from one so discerning, it is the greatest honor.”

Your eyes narrowed as someone nearby whispered too loudly.

“Do you mind?” you snapped, voice cold as steel. “We’re having a moment.”

And then, to Rook’s utter delight, you turned back to him with the warmest smile, all velvet and affection. “Ignore them. You’re the only one who matters anyway.”

Rook was absolutely enchanted. The duality of you the fierce, untouchable queen everyone feared, and the soft, adoring lover only he got to see was his greatest prize. He lived for the chase, and you were his sweetest victory.

Hello I just realized you have a main blog and seem to answer quickly because it's your main blog

I wanted to know what do you add to whoever you think of as birds like what parts of the animals do you add to the character if that makes sense? Do you add beaks or how do wings work in your version of stuff (special clothing or something) I really hope this makes sense and I can get a reply if not it's all good

I've been very busy today so it took me a moment to respond my bad!!! 💜

I think the best way to explain this is to show a character who is a birdfolk in my au (Trey doesn't really count since he's a harpy), so Trey's father is a good example since he's a mini-macaw birdfolk!

Birdfolks are covered in feathers with large wings, and have talons for both their legs and arms. They do not have teeth, instead they have beaks!!

When it comes to birdfolks and harpies, they're pretty similar, but large differences (besides the fact Harpies are half human) is harpies have less feathers and have teeth (usually canines) instead of peaks, all harpies are carnivorous, while birdfolks (depending on what species) can be either carnivores, omnivores or herbivores (Trey's father is a omnivore).
