Hey Epi! I'm a little confused on your color trait engagement rings. If I want both the engagement ring & wedding ring I delete the one you shared on Sep 10, 2022 & use the one from Oct 26, 2023 correct? But I can use the wedding band txmt also from Oct 26 & it'll be the color I choose but still have the little color gems from the other preview ie white-gold band with gems in sim's fave color. Right? Just wanna be sure. Does the engagement ring shape change or just the stone color?
Hey Moyo! Yep that's correct, only use one color trait ring mod. If you want both engagement & wedding ring stones to change color, use the mod I shared more recently.
The ring band color is a separate thing from the color trait mods and can be changed with txmt replacements for it. Changing the band color doesn't affect the stones, so yep, the gems will still be there.
My mod for the ring stones doesn't include a mesh replacement for the engagement ring. If you want chunkier engagement rings, you can use the mesh replacement pforest shared here. It works together with my mod and with band color replacements.
So for example, if you want stones on both engagement and wedding rings, white gold bands for both, and pforest's engagement ring mesh, the files you need are:
