fuck my job and their attendance policy....i work as a cashier at a grocery store, and 4 days ago one of my coworkers texted me a photo of a pksitive covid test. she was back on today. apparently she was so afraid to get fired tbat she came back in even before the 5 day guideline the CDC pivoted to a while back. she did not look well!!! she actively looked sick!!!! i would like my coworkers to not feel pressured to come into work with covid. fuck. and who knows how many people she talked to today, probably hundreds.

I work at a department store. We're running on a skeleton crew due to recent upper management changes and high turnover. I keep getting customers angry with ME that we're low on staff, angry they couldn't find anyone. There's also a pair of girls working in the department next to mine who keeping taking 40min breaks instead of 15min and going together so I'm the only one over here.

Also we keep our fitting rooms locked due to lots of theft recently and it being so hot here that people have fainted in there before. I often get customers who are angry they can't just walk into a room and trash it, and frequently we'll discover fitting rooms that were broken into and left a mess. I'm so tired. I like my job but why do people think complaining to me will do anything?
