Within the realms we meticulously delve into the intricate tapestry of factors influencing infertility, providing profound insights into its origins and efficacious solutions. This comprehensive blog seeks to endow individuals with the knowledge indispensable for navigating the labyrinth of their fertility problems journey successfully.
Deciphering the Enigma: Understanding Infertility and its Causes!
Infertility, often enshrouded in mystique, manifests as a medical condition characterized by the inability to conceive after a year of consistent, unprotected intercourse. Unraveling the intricacies of stress and infertility causes assumes paramount importance for those earnestly seeking answers and viable solutions.
The Top 10 Causes of Infertility
Here are some: -
1. Ovulatory Disorders
The perturbation of regular ovulation exerts a profound impact on age and fertility problems. Conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or hormonal imbalances can disrupt the normal ovulation process, introducing significant challenges to conception.
2. Sperm Abnormalities
Male infertility factors causes emerges as a prevalent issue, with sperm quality and quantity playing a pivotal role in the conception process. Lifestyle factors, genetic predispositions, or infections can contribute to abnormalities in sperm, posing impediments to successful fertilization.
3. Fallopian Tube Blockage
Blocked or damaged fallopian tubes serve as formidable obstacles, impeding the journey of the egg to the uterus and resulting in emotional aspects of age and infertility causes. Factors such as infections, endometriosis, or adhesions may contribute to the development of this impediment.
4. Endometriosis
Endometriosis, a condition characterized by the growth of tissue similar to the uterine lining outside the uterus, poses formidable challenges to age and fertility problems. It can lead to scarring and distortion of reproductive organs, exacerbating the difficulty of conception.
5. Uterine Issues
Anomalies in the uterus, including polyps, fibroids, or congenital malformations, can prove detrimental to implantation and disrupt the normal course of pregnancy, presenting additional hurdles on the path to parenthood.
6. Age-Related Factors
Age assumes a pivotal role in fertility problems, particularly for women. The aging process diminishes both the quantity and quality of eggs, amplifying the complexity of conception and making successful pregnancy attainment progressively challenging.
7. Lifestyle Factors
Unhealthy lifestyle choices, encompassing smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, poor dietary habits, and heightened stress levels, wield a detrimental influence on age and fertility problems for both men and women, underscoring the significance of adopting healthier living practices.
8. Underlying Medical Conditions
Certain medical conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, or autoimmune diseases, can contribute to infertility by adversely affecting reproductive functions. Addressing these underlying health issues is crucial for mitigating fertility problems & challenges.

I understand that vaccines are proven to work and are a great advancement in our medicine, and also that homeopathic remedies don't work, but don't they work on the same principal? Why does one work and the other doesnt?
They do not work on the same principle.
I can see how vaccines look like a "like treats like" situation, but in homeopathy "like treats like" is a kind of magical thinking.
Let's take an example from Chicken Pox, a virus for which there is an effective vaccine and for which there is a common homeopathic treatment.
Chicken pox infects people once, and it is extremely rare to get a second case because once you have had it, your body forms persistent antibodies against the varicella-zoster virus. When I was a kid, they didn't have a vaccine for this, so kids mostly got chicken pox once and it ran around whole schools and that was it. It's a virus that is fairly minor in children, though it can cause dangerously high fevers. Adults who get chicken pox typically get much sicker than children who get it, and it can lead to permanent harms like infertility in adults who get it. Because it can be so dangerous, we don't want people to risk getting it, so we vaccinate.
The way the vaccine works is that it takes a weakened form of the virus and introduces that into the body of a person with a healthy immune system. The immune system responds and the person who got the vaccine may get some minor symptoms, like a headache or a slight fever, but it will be nowhere near as severe as getting actual chicken pox would be. Because the immune system was exposed to the virus and responded, it now has antibodies against the virus that recognize the virus and respond immediately before it can start replicating in the body. If a person who has either previously had chicken pox or who has been vaccinated against it is exposed to the chicken pox virus, their body uses those antibodies to react to the virus and protect against a systemic infection.
Are you familiar with Star Trek? It's kind of like the Borg. You can't use the same attack pattern against the Borg multiple times because if you do, they'll recognize the pattern and will be able to defend against it. The virus is the attacker, and your immune system is the Borg. It knows what it's looking for and won't let anything get through its defenses.
Homeopathic remedies don't seek to prevent illness or provoke an immune response, they seek to cancel out something that is happening in the body.
For chicken pox, which produces itchy red bumps, homeopaths use Rhus Tox - a dilution of poison ivy, a plant that causes itchy red bumps if you encounter it in nature. The Rhus Tox didn't cause the chicken pox, it's not given to prevent the virus, it's from a plant that is completely unrelated to the virus that happens to produce some of the same symptoms as the virus when you touch it.
They don't even think that the Rhus Tox will provoke an immune response from your body like actually touching poison ivy would, they're attempting to use an unrelated compound (that is so diluted that it isn't even present in the preparation) in place of your immune system to attack the itchy red bumps.
So I'm going to go over this in a few brief points:
Vaccines are preventative ONLY, they are not a treatment for illness or symptoms of an illness
Vaccines work by introducing your immune system to a partial, weakened, or dead virus so that your immune system can form antibodies against that virus and prevent that virus from replicating in your body when it is later exposed to a whole/strong/live virus.
Different vaccines have different levels of effectiveness and produce different lengths of immunity; this is for a number of reasons, but if you get a measles shot as a kid you may only ever need one booster, while you need a flu shot every year and a tetanus shot every decade. All of them work the same way, though: they show your immune system what a virus looks like so that your immune system can kill the virus.
That is why immune compromised people sometimes can't be vaccinated, or why vaccines don't work as well for them or may need higher doses or more boosters. Because they don't have a healthy immune system, weakened viruses like the ones in the chickenpox virus might be too strong for their immune system to fight, and even if it doesn't get them sick, their bodies may not be able to produce enough effective antibodies to protect them from the virus in the future. That's part of why it's important for as many people to be vaccinated as possible; the more people who are vaccinated, the harder it is for viruses to spread, and vulnerable people like immune compromised people or babies too young for vaccination won't be exposed to deadly viruses.
Homeopathy, on the other hand, aims to treat symptoms of an illness that a person is already experiencing.
Homeopathic treatments do not aim to provoke an immune response, they aim to cancel out a symptom with a cure.
Dilution is a very important part of homeopathy, with homeopaths claiming that the more diluted a preparation is the stronger it is. This is simply incorrect; I don't know how to make a more logical explanation of that, it is just wrong that less of a substance causes more of a response.
Homeopathy says "like treats like" and that may seem like using a vaccine with a weak virus to prevent infection from a strong virus, but their version of "like" is different - Rhus Tox (poison ivy) is supposed to be "like" chicken pox because both cause itching. Rhus tox is also supposed to treat PCOS, erectile dysfunction, uterine prolapse, sunken eyes, nausea, and backache. "Like" can have an extremely broad meaning in homeopathy, which should be cause for suspicion.
Here's a paper that compared the immune response of college students given homeopathic "vaccines" against a control group and against a group of students who were given standard medical vaccines. The control group and the homeopathic group both did not have an immune response in titer tests, while the vaccination group did have an immune response, demonstrating that they had protection from the vaccinated viruses. It's a pretty good demonstration both of how effective homeopathy is (not at all) as well as how to set up a fair and ethical study to look at the effectiveness of different kinds of treatments.

Yandere Platonic Fae Parents
This is in older times where parents cared little for their children and would willingly sell them if they were poor. It is yandere so be prepared to be disturbed as fae don't understand human misery.
CW: abuse (not by the fae parents), trickery, infertility, the couple look down on you slightly (because you're their fragile human), not fully fleshed out, trauma, honestly scarier than most of my romantic ones
Background
Celden and Lilinasmin are a powerful fae couple being nobles in the Seelie court. Married to tie the houses together but fell in love over time. However, Lilinasmin is unable to get pregnant despite attempting to have a child of their own. Distraught, Celden wanted to make his wife happy so he set out in search of a suitable child.
First Meeting:
Lilinasmin will be the first one to find you as she likes walking in a village near the portal to the Fae Realm. Seeing the smiling children does cause an ache in her heart that hasn't disappeared in quite some time.
What she didn't expect is to meet the most endearingly rambunctious human. She meets you after you bump into her running from the local baker, red in the face with anger.
"This is the last time a dirty bastard child like you will steal from me!" The burly man feels a crushing grip grab his hairy arm to block his swing. The burning look in the tall and lithe woman frightens him. "You will do no such thing, take your payment and leave." Lilinasmin hands a heavy pouch of human coin to the baker before releasing him. The man runs off with his tail tucked between his legs.
The fae doesn't particularly mind the crime you committed as she is more concerned with how many bruises covered your small little arms and legs. Especially the angry red ring around your neck. "Goodness child what happened to you?" Compelling you was easy as you cry and hold onto her. "I don't want to go back." Lilinasmin feels a spark of maternal instinct as you cling to her legs tightly.
"Oh sweetling, I'll never let you go."
Lilinasmin comes back to the child as she promised, bringing treats and trinket for the grateful mortal. Foolish human, gifts from the fae never come free. The woman smiles affectionately at your gullible nature, good thing she didn't want to hurt you. No, no, she would love you like any good mother should.
The elegant woman hums a childish tune as she clears the dust from the abandoned nursery. After all the centuries of pain and waiting she would finally be a mother. After all a baby was coming, her baby. Sweet (Y/N).
Celden hears his beautiful wife gush about the child she met in the village, and chuckles. If you make his wife so happy he'll gladly kidnap you. All for his wife's smile and laughter.
Celden tracks down the child of his beloved's description to a ramshackle hut with a door hangs on its last hinges. How could a child live in such a run down place. A shrill scream hits the poor fae's sensitive ears as a woman drags a screaming child out of the house. Celden hides himself from sight and watches from afar.
How brutish humans were to their own offspring, as the woman took a switch and beat the crying child black and blue. The child with (e/c) eyes and (h/c) (hair texture) hair. That was his wife's child. His disdain for the mortal woman grew at the sight of his wife's pride and joy in pain.
Unable to reveal himself he watched as the woman stormed back into the house. You lay sobbing as fresh mark begin bleeding from the switch. Celden decides to ease your pain to gain your trust. The fair man leans over your broken form and craddles you towards his chest.
Chanting in ancient tongues the fresh wounds disappear like they never existed in the first place. You stare blearily at the man shaking with fear. Celden chuckles as he plays with your hair. "No need to cry dear robin, I've got you now." You relax at the gentle cold touch, much to the delight of the male fae. His beloved was right, never had he seen such a pure and innocent babe. The soft rise and fall of your chest and peaceful expression steeled the man's resolve. Celden would take you far from this all into his manor with him and his wife.
How they get you:
The couple disguise themselves as human nobles and bring an entourage with them. Quite the spectacle to your poverty stricken family. The younger siblings rush out to see who the mysterious guests may be. Liliinasmin and Celden stare with cold indifference at the small humans. No one could compare to their darling ladybug. A rotund man and his hideous yellow toothed wife approach with greed in their eyes.
Fae believe in fair exchanges no matter how disgusting the person may be. Celden shows the hefty bag of fine jewels to which the couple salivate at. "You shall have not a single coin until we have a child. The ogre of a man laughs flashing a wide smile "You can have all of them if you want, good riddance I say." Lilinasmin shows a sharp neatly manicured nail pointing towards a child struggling under the weight of a large wooden bucket filled with water. "We shall take that one."
You scream in fear as two armed guards grab your tiny frame. Attempting to run to hide behind your parents who shove you in disgust. Clawing the dirt you beg your parents to not send you away, that you'll be good. However your parents and the rest of the brood turn their back on your desperate cries. Fat tears rolling down your sunken cheeks as two tall ethereal strangers coo at your distress. Celden pets your head while Lilinasmin threatens the guards if a single scratch marred your flesh.
Your desperate cries muffled by the large fir trees of the Ominous Forest. The carriage shaking with each stone the wheels encounter, you lay motionless from fear. The woman sings a lullaby while you lay against the man's firm chest. Tired from the stress and fear you fall into a deep sleep.
How You are Treated:
Lilinasmin and Celden treat you almost like an amusing pet rather than a child at times. Baby talking when you beg to be taken home while handing you your favorite dessert. You don't want for anything but their affection is smothering.
Not allowed to leave the manor without one or both by your side. You are apart of a family so act like it. Will chuckle and gently guide you away as you beg another fae to help you return home. Our child has such the big imagination don't they?
Friends are basically non existent as the ones you have are servants and their children who are under your "parents" control. Complain too much and they might be taken from you too.
You are going to be forced to turn into a fae, forever stuck in the body of a child. Perpetually forced to play the role of an adoring baby, their baby. Aging leads to romantic interests or other interests outside of the family, and nothing will take you away from them.
The transformation is painful, you scream as your body convulses in pain. Your "mother" hushes you while stroking your hair while your "father" kisses away your tears. It'll be over soon dear, just hold on a bit longer.
Isn't it what you wanted? A loving family who will never leave you.
Always and forever

Racism would be easier if white people thought we were human like them, but they think their experiences are deeper than ours, and we're crude beasts, so know better. I still can't believe a white Polish person who literally struggles speaking English had the arrogance to tell me what Black women experience. I tell them that a Black woman was kicked out of women's toilets because she's a gender non-conforming lesbian and the experience of misgendering isn't a core part of the Black female experience so insisting it is isnt accurate and these prick points to a fucking meme. My Black ass words meant that little
People on social media just love to lie and not engage with history to the point this white Polish person who can not speak English well tells me I don't understand. You people are far too comfortable mentioning us because we're objects and not people. For years I keep saying the way people bring up Black women and (white) trans women stinks of racial entitlement and not solidarity and people are purposefully misinterpreting Black history to paint the dehumanisation of Black people as a gender issue identitical to trans people when it was a racial caste system where white people debated if Black people could feel pain, learn, had souls or if it was possible to impregnate mixed race Black people because they saw them like infertile mules.
When H&M had that campaign that included a white trans woman that used to be on here and a female body builder and I found out a female body builder who's Black was being harassed. All I saw were people gloating she's being harassed and not the skinny white trans woman. No care or sympathy for this woman. It's then I knew Black women are fodder for these people and don't actually care about how Black women experience stuff.
We've come to a point where you need to tell white lefty people everything that happens to us isn't because we're Black. White people don't own other human experiences and oppression. The fact Serena Williams gets harassed for how she looks and her sister Venus doesn't its clear as day it's not simply because she's Black and dark skin and you're not engaging with why people love to attack her but we're not going to do that because insisting Black women get misgendered for being Black women and no other reasons like being butch or muscular helps suburbanite white transpeople feel less ugly and that's the most important thing in the world. Who fucking cares why anything happens to Black women or what happened during chattel slavery, we can make shit up as long as we threw the Black women a bone and say they're oppressed even if you talk about it inaccurately on purpose
I'll always bring up the fit white trans women threw when Black women told them not to use Say her name. Everything we do is for them, and we don't get to have anything about our own experiences. That's what solidarity is. How does it benefit other people and you can never criticise them because it makes them feel bad and can't come up with their own shit
People like talking about the racism from different groups of oppressed white people and skip over the deep levels of entitlement from white trans people cause they bring up the Blacks as a shield.

I was typing a big long thing about the changes I've experienced in a year on testosterone and how it's affected me and all that and then tumblr ate it and I really don't feel like retyping that whole thing but I am kinda salty about it so tldr:
Starting testosterone has been the best thing for my health that I've done. Ever. Better than getting a service dog. Better than restructuring my life to cater to my disabilities. Better than any procedure or medication or otherwise that I've tried. Simply rubbing a pack of gel on my arm once a day has done more for me than anything else.
When I went to my endo to start T, I went with a suspicion that I am intersex. She confirmed it via blood test and told me that with my variation I could try two different things: estrogen to control my high levels of natural androgens, or testosterone to lower my estrogen further and make it stop arguing with my androgens about whether I'm supposed to be a boy or a girl, as it's that argument that was causing a significant portion of my health problems. Estrogen has been tried in the past and only made things worse. She told me it was my choice, and only I could choose my path forward, as I knew my body the best.
When TERFs have a fit about gender affirming care, they usually leave out people like me, or they brush my story aside by saying that I'm just an anomaly, or they claim for me and my demographic that we don't want to be part of this discussion. But I don't fit their definition of a woman- I have a testicle, and my natural testosterone was within normal range on the low end for a cisgender, perisex man, and enough male sexual partners have commented on what's in my pants to tell me that it's far from the picturesque womanly pussy, especially considering I can- and have- use it to penetrate with the help of devices designed for cis men who are a little lacking in length.
When TERFs have a fit about gender affirming care, they scaremonger about side effects and changes. But, I was already hairy. I was already growing facial hair. I already had atrophied- and by 30 to the point that it's not really possible to fix without significant medical intervention. I was already infertile. I already had an adam's apple and a deep voice. I already had belly fat and blood pressure problems. My menstrual cycle was already hellish and had interfered with my school and work schedules. A popped ovarian cyst sent me to the ER.
I'd tried no treatment. I'd tried estrogen-based solutions. These not only did not work but actively made things worse. I was fainting at school. I was calling out of work. I couldn't drive without my service dog. I couldn't go out and have fun with my friends. I spent days at a time laying in bed in too much pain to move.
TERFs say, gender affirming care turns you into a forever patient.
I already was one of those. I almost died when I was a baby strictly because of lack of access to care that accepts children who are born who are both and also neither from the womb, before anyone has a chance to develop a personality or understand the difference between a boy and a girl.
Testosterone has turned me into a "once every 3 months" patient instead of a "twice a month minimum" patient. I pay less than $15/month for my prescription and it's mailed to my house in three-month increments. Stopping my wildly irregular and incredibly painful menstrual cycle has increased my quality of life so much. My body doesn't ache for no reason anymore. I don't faint anymore. I can go out and do things and not be punished for it for days on end by fevers and chills and vertigo.
Don't let a handful of transphobic assholes scare you. If this is your way forward, then live your life to its fullest.
My only regret is that I didn't have the chance to do this sooner.

We're on this together. (Chapter I)
Bradley Bradshaw × Fem!Wife!Reader
Summary: Nobody warned you for how hard it is to become a mother, same for Bradley.
TW: infertility, mentions of miscarrige, mentions of hospital, mentions of getting pregnant, mentiones of ivf. Mostly angst.

Tears were streaming down your face, your hands were trembling. Searching for Bradley's number in your contact list has never been this difficult.
Your fingers slid across parts of the screen you didn't want to touch, making your frustration even worse.
The phone line rang at a deafening volume. Once, twice, three times until it goes to voicemail.
His stupid voicemail.
"Hi,its me Bradley. Please drop your message!"
Taking this as a sign, you chose not to try again.
After all, talking to Bradley about it right now would only make him worry for nothing, considering he was busy on deployment and miles away from you. He was about to return this week.
It wasn't something he could solve. Maybe it was but not right now.
Within a few minutes your phone rang. As his name popped up on the screen, a heart emoji next to it and his photo of him grinning stupidly, you felt terrible for doing this to him.
Not only did you let down your own dreams, you were about to let down his too.
You replied, remaining silent. You expected your voice to sound like a lump in your throat.
"Baby, are you there? I couldn't get to the phone in time at first."
You were motionless, your lack of words showed him that. "I'm fine", giving yourself some time, you suddenly started to feel everything you didn't feel until you got home.
"I was at the doctor's today."
"Why are you talking like it's the end of the world? Are you okay?"
Throughout his breathing, it was easy to imagine him even stopping whatever he was doing to pay better attention to you; Not because it wasn't there before. You should have called Penny or someone, they would know how to take care of you.
"Wait, is it about babies? Tell me you're joking," he finished with a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. You could imagine and hear it perfectly.
In the past, when you received good news, you would pretend that something bad was coming, now it's just another thing you regret doing.
You were selfish for talking to him, he was so far away; You could talk to him about it when he got home.
Talking and doing this and that now would cause him more anxiety than he ever had in his hectic daily tour life. Still, he was the only one you needed.
"No, quite the opposite."
The call suffered a long pause, filled with his deep sighs and persistent tears streaming down his cheeks.
You didn't let a single tear fall until you got home, but did you verbalize it? Putting it into words made things different; it felt more real.
"Fuck," he mumbled, clearly a little out of place.
“I can't have kids, Bradley,” your words were interrupted by the growl you were trying to hold back.
He could tell when you were talking to him that everything hit you at once. Over the years, he was able to recognize even small details.
''I'm the reason we tried and it never worked. I cursed it."
"No, baby," he took a deep breath. "Please don't blame yourself. You know it's not your fault." You ran your fingers desperately through your hair; This is what it must be like to feel useless on the phone. Just what you imagined before you made the call. It was bad to announce this to him. "Are you alone? I can ask someone to check on you. They’ll do that, okay?
“Please,” You didn't want to spend the rest of the day by yourself. Also, even though you didn't want to talk to anyone but Bradley, you knew Penny would understand you better, she knew how to make you feel less bad, it would be nice to be around her. And once she mentioned she went through something like that so maybe she would understand you.
Being alone with your harsh thoughts will not be a good option anyway. "I thought about calling her, but I finally gave up, I didn't know what to do, I still don't. Calling you still doesn't seem like a good idea, but I didn't know what to do."
Your weak voice was killing Bradley. If it made him sad to hear that, he couldn't imagine what it was like for you.
"You did great, baby, this is a tough situation but we're on this journey together. You can ask for anything baby, remember?" He smiled, a muffled smile came over the line; It made you feel a little better.
"We can still have children, you know that."
You wanted to tell him that what works for others may not work for you, that your condition may not be that malleable because your condition is genetic. Still, you didn't know if they were true or not, all your thoughts might just be the result of your momentary frustration, but they might also be true.
You need to talk to Bradley about this, everything that's going on in his mind. You didn't want to do this over the phone anymore.
“We can try,” you sniffled, still avoiding the tears you didn't even know were falling. "We can try." You repeated, trying to convince yourself.
"Talk to me, baby. Try to distract yourself a bit, huh? Please. Do you want me to turn the call off? Maybe you can take a long bath with your favorite bubbles or eat something different. That might help."
Even though it sounded wrong, his desperation to help you was adorable. Talking to him made everything perfect, his voice was soothing, you could hear him talking for hours. Now it was no different.
“I just want to hear your voice,” you said, lying on the cold floor of the main room. It would be nice to sleep. It seemed reasonable to forget the previous hours for a few minutes. "You are busy?"
"Not exactly."
"Then tell me how the mission went."
His voice sounded flatter and softer, you could imagine how uneasy he was even from the phone, it was possible to imagine him striding around the room with the phone in his hand. He talked about the mission details the night before. The contrast of how you described your previous day with what happened at the right moment was painful, happy and suddenly you were breaking it.
Everyone knew that Bradley dreamed of having kids, that kids were running around the house and so were you, you wanted to have kids with him even more but with you he would never have one.
"Can I say something?" You asked, taking a deep breath, cutting through his words. "I love you,I love you so much."
Everything was unfair, you both tried so hard. He, too, had become weak from trying, just like you.
"I love you too, baby. This," you could see him in your mind, pausing and gesturing with his hands, "this won't change anything, okay? I still love you so much as the day i fell in love with you."
"We are on this journey together."
"We are on this journey together.”
—-----
Your body trembled.
A cold hand was wandering around your waist as you slowly opened your eyes, feeling a ridiculous headache fill your vision. Your eyes found Bradley crouched on the ground in front of you, and he looked good compared to you. His eye bags were not purple from the 4 hour sleep he was getting,or his hair wasn't messy after the cold, rainy and windy weather out there.
"What are you doing here?" You frowned. Bradley chuckled as you laid your head down once the headache made you feel like you were going to throw up. He could answer your question but you were flattered, he wouldn't think you noticed he was there because he knew you needed him.
So he ignored it, helping you get up.
"Come on, get up. It's cold on the floor, I'll put you to bed." He tried to get you to stand up for him - he failed; but you shifted your weight onto his body, wrapping your arms around his neck, which he found worriedly cute.
“I need you,” you whispered, drunk and sleepy, burying your face in his coat. Let its scent warm you. He smelled amazing.
It was a relief to hear him say that. He didn't want to get into an argument about how it would affect his job in the near future, as you had fought before for the same reason. "I know my baby." He kissed your hair, hugged your waist, and carried you to your room. “She wants to lay down with me.”
He laid you down on the bed, doing the same as he lay on your side, face up and facing the white ceiling.
They both knew it was necessary to speak, but neither knew who should speak first or what they should speak about.
You ran your fingers over his stomach, placing your palm under his shirt, warming his cold hand with your body. You moved closer to his body, nestling into his side as he wrapped his arm around you.
"Tell me, what's on your mind?" He said without looking directly at you.
"There's a lot", your mere words made his throat dry. “It's weird knowing your body can't do what it's supposed to do, especially when you want it to,” you gasped through sobs, his grip pulling you closer to his chest for comfort. "I'm afraid you'll stay with me and a few years from now you'll realize you made the wrong choice." These words hurt him. It hurt him so much to see you blaming yourself.
He hugged you even tighter and asked you to look at him. "I'm not going to leave you, okay? I'm in love with you. That won't change, and it's not your fault. We can try IVF as if it will work, and it's worked for a few people, and we'll have a happy and healthy baby. We have the money for it. If the money I make as a pilot isn't enough, i can even find a part-time job. I can enter just for you, I'm married to you and I love you so much, why should I leave you?"
There were tears in your eyes and you hoped he was right. "What if it doesn't work? If my body miscarries? If we try and never succeed? I don't know if I'm ready to try again-"
Before you finished your sentence, he grabbed your cheek and gave you a messy kiss. He was far from okay, he was desperate, you didn't know how to decipher whether he was trying to silence you or show his emotions. The salty taste of your tears accompanied by the burning in his throat didn't help at all.
You put your hand on his chest and stop him. He was in distress, he probably wanted to stop you with a waterfall of negative thoughts but he didn't know how.
“I don't want to try, I just don't know what to do yet, and it's killing me right now.” You were complaining.
He kissed your forehead and let you lie down.
"We will find a way. It's still new, we can think better or find other ways. Adoption is also a good option, but of course if everything happens at the right time."
You stayed silent for a while, imagining a parallel where Bradley was right and things worked out. Although you were still not convinced by this, you agreed with him. After all, there would be no other way, and you still wanted to have children.
“Adoption sounds good,” you mumbled against his chest. You hadn't thought about it yet, it hadn't even crossed your mind. “There is no risk and there is no way we can go wrong.”
You felt relieved that he was there for you, guiding you to feel better about this.
"You see?" he asked with what looked like a weak smile. "We'll find a way because I don't plan on having kids with anyone but you, so it has to be with you. Whether you like it or not." He joked, drawing a smile from you as he touched your nose with a wet kiss.
It was incredible how he managed to make even the most difficult moments seem lighter.
"Good, because I still want to have your stupid kids.”

Does anybody know why vas deferens aplasia (or CAVD) is listed as a DSD but not an intersex variation?
Per the title. Anybody in the intersex community here have any insight? 😵💫
I've recently been putting together a resource on intersex variations. Which led me to learning that vas deferens aplasia, also known as congenital absence of the vas deferens (CAVD), is actually... rather common? Like the medical articles I'm reading are saying 1% of men have this variation (albeit the unilateral variety, which is more common than both vasa deferentia being absent).
The same medical articles say 90% of cases co-occur with absence of the seminal vesicle(s), and it seems that most (60-70%?) cases are a result of the mesonephric duct system not fully developing (i.e. getting some signals to go the female-typed development route -- basically, the typical path is every foetus starts with these ducts, and then if the "female" switch is on during the relevant week of gestation, these ducts go away, otherwise they become the vas deferens & epididymis & seminal vesicles).
I've been uncertain as to whether to categorize this as an intersex variation. The medical community seems to understand it straightforwardly as a mesonephric (Wolffian) duct anomaly, and hence a "DSD". 🤔
But like... every time I search for "CAVD" or "vas deferens aplasia" plus "intersex", the only results I get are medical articles. 😵💫
It's not in @interactyouth's Intersex Variations Glossary, even though they explicitly include the homologous paramesonephric (Müllerian) duct anomalies:
I highlighted the part that notes that paramesonephric duct anomalies don't cause gonadal or hormonal differences, as gives me the impression that this is not a requisite for duct-based variations to be seen as intersex.
And yes, I know the interACT glossary explicitly says it's not comprehensive. But it has some extremely rare variations in it and this is apparently a pretty common thing?
CAVD is not on other lists of intersex variations, such as:
The book "A Comprehensive Guide to Intersex" by Petersen (who is intersex, but also kinda exclusionist)
@dhddmods's intersex guide (which also includes homologous variations)
@intersex-support's list of variations (includes MRKH which is roughly homologous)
Intersex Canada's list of intersex variations (also includes MRKH)
Intersex Aotearoa's list of intersex variations (includes MRKH)
IC4E's list of intersex variations (includes MRKH)
I don't have this variation and I don't know anybody with this variation, and the only posts I've found on social media from people with this variation talk only about infertility and nothing on identity. (And kind of noticeably most of the social media posts come from wives of people with this variation posting about their infertile husbands rather than the guys talking about it themselves... 👀)
So... yeah. I'm kinda stumped. Anybody have any insights why this is (or isn't) considered intersex? It doesn't seem to be like PCOS or gynecomastia where there's Discourse about its categorization... it just seems to not be talked about by the intersex community? 🫤

Story at Glance
Two decades ago, Merck introduced Vioxx, a profitable NSAID, despite knowing it could cause numerous heart attacks. After facing overwhelming lawsuits and ultimately withdrawing Vioxx, Merck quickly pushed Gardasil, an HPV vaccine, to market to recover losses.
Gardasil proved to be extremely dangerous, yet both Merck and the FDA ignored the alarming data and continued promoting it, even as it resulted in unprecedented injuries, including autoimmunity, POTS, infertility, and death. Notably, many of these issues mirror those associated with the COVID-19 vaccines.
This article examines the dangers of the HPV vaccine, the reasons behind its risks—including its tendency to cause rather than prevent cervical cancer—and the extensive negligence of the FDA and CDC. These lessons are crucial for understanding the events surrounding COVID-19.
Prior to COVID-19, I considered Gardasil (for HPV) to be the most dangerous and unjustifiable vaccine on the market. It’s truly remarkable how many parallels can be found between it and the COVID-19 vaccines, so I feel it’s critically important for this already forgotten story to be told.

i think it's misguided to claim that trans activism goes against the interest of feminism. it's in the best interest of the movement to include ALL women, including those that don't have periods, can't get pregnant, women with "unattractive" bodies, etc. you don't have to be trans to experience any of this.
there are SO many cis women that are not affected by the causes you listed. post-menopausal women, infertile women, women who have had hysterectomies, etc. surely you would agree that feminism is still for them. i think the same goes for trans women. they face a unique kind of misogyny that feminism needs to address, and that means by tweaking the definition of woman.
the fluidity of the definition of woman is not harmful to feminism. its not bad or scary that more people can be helped by feminism. this happened in the 1960s and 70s with welcoming lesbians into the movement. people were concerned that doing so would hurt the movement; of course it didn't. alienating trans women is not the answer to your concerns.
"who are womans rights for ... if woman is a feeling one has or doesnt have and not a fixed characteristic?" the only thing ALL women have in common, is the feeling that they are women. trans men arent women because they dont have this feeling, and trans women ARE, which is why feminism is for them.
i understand being scared that feminism will lose all meaning, and that women will no longer be easily defined. but the concern of feminism is recognizing that fact. gender is enigmatic and that's not something to be afraid of. feminist theory has asked the question of what a woman is for decades.
this is stupid.
women who dont get periods for whatever reason are still and have still been affected by menstruation in their lifetime. when a younger woman doesnt get a period thats a sign of a health complication. infertile women are of the birthing sex so the whole topic still affects them, a lot. etc. none of this affects trans identified men, but it very much affects trans identified women.
this has been said a million times before and im sick and tired of this bullshit but what the fuck does feeling like a woman mean. its a circular definition. being of the female sex is the only definition of woman because any other meaning of woman is subjective and individual. feminists ask: what does it mean to be a woman? not: what is a woman? feminists over the centuries have been very aware that women are of the female sex and men over the centuries have been aware women are of the female sex and are to be subjugated and excluded.
men who outwardly „identify“ as women face the same as effeminate men who dont „identify“ as women. its homophobia and the backfiring of male ideals - its a male issue. men who dont adhere to masculinity are sanctioned by other men; men who are effeminate scare masculine men because it shows that femininity is not a natural state for women and that gender roles and norms are arbitrary which is an attack on what they deem the natural order of men dominating women. men are not able to articulate this but thats why they do it.
therefore trans identified men should go back to how it was when they were transvestites and transsexuals who belong with gay men. marginalised men deserve their own advocacy and women deserve their own advocacy and when it fits we can work together.
edit: i skimmed past the lesbian part at first. what the fuck

Are both Grimm and the Radiance hermaphrodites? If it was only Grimm, would the Radiance feel anything against him because of it?
They would fit the definition as seen in biology, yes. By that definition they would be true hermaphrodites. But because they're anthropomorphic characters, I personally avoid using that term in relation to them because of its negative connotations. I suppose the term intersex would be more appropriate, so that's what I ultimately decided on, though I understand it is likely not an accurate representation. Considering their circumstances and that they're gods, though, I think that is to be expected.
As for whether it's both of them, I think it would make sense. Gods not following the usual rules of gender and sex is a pretty common trope and I don't see why it would be different for them, especially since they're siblings. I think it would also make sense if higher beings in general were initially intersex, and then either remained that way, or changed their bodies to their liking (be it in their godly forms or physical forms).
Grimm is definitely the biggest focus in this topic since he's one of the main characters in the AU. In his case, his body has an androgynous appearance, and he has both the male and female reproductive organs. The catch is that he made his physical form infertile as preventative measure to avoid unwanted children, and what this means in practice is that those organs are not fully formed. They work fine for what he needs them for, but not for their true function. Later on he modified it to be able to bear offspring temporarily (after a long period of trial and error; a lot of his body is made with a "yeah that works" mindset, here it needed go be as close of a replica to a biological system as it could to avoid complications, so that caused issues), which meant that there was a short period of time where his female organs were complete and worked as intended (twice, technically, once with Lewk and then a second time with the twins). But as he replaces his body periodically, the easiest way to prevent unwanted eggs is to return to the default incomplete state, so that is once again where he's currently at. Possesses both, but is unable to sire or bear offspring. It also has the advantage of him not having to deal with any cycles connected to it on a regular basis, which as an uterus owner I can't blame him for at all hahaha
As for non-reproductive aspects, I like the idea that his voice leans masculine but has a slight hint of a feminine tone, almost like a secondary layer that's there but barely heard, save for some cases. He definitely has a quite wide range of sound when he speaks, too, and I'm sure he'd find the notion of confusing others with it very entertaining. It'd be very useful for his performances as well! Especially seeing as they involve acting.
Now, in regards to The Radiance, I do think her default godly form is also intersex, so the question is: if she created a physical form for herself, would she leave that aspect unchanged? I do refer to her as she, and she chooses to call herself that as well, so there is a chance she would choose to embrace the female side. Or none at all. I don't think reproduction is something she concerns herself with, unlike Grimm, her powers weren't as limited so she could just create life the way she created the Moth Tribe. Regardless of her choice, I really can't see having an issue with Grimm on that matter. Now, his liking for sleeping with others and being obnoxious about it, that's a different story. But she wouldn't be unique in that aspect, he can be quite annoying about it hahah

Kulapari Blog Name: Candied Scorpian
I have not watched Rise of the Kings because Hulu is in the US{It is new so I couldn't even pirate it}-
but I sure love Stinger, so even with spoilers I was excited- IS THAT A SNAKE IN THE GIF??? I just noticed that
but anyways, for a small fandom 'Edit for a dead fandom' I can make edits, idk how to get the clips.... Right theirs on clips of stinger in one pirated site that has season 2
I accidentally watches epidose one of season 2 back in lockdown before kipo was uploaded... Oooh the memories of rewatching this before I slept.
Im still gonna make shitty drafts and post it on ao3, idk what happened, but ill just give stinger amnesia and meet some half scorpian half snakes Hehe! <3
Also bit of a headcanon that Their a emperor scorpia(They are in West Africa...) Idk, maybe other scorpians would assume, or another animal incorrectly guessing. I couldn't find a scorpian in austrailio I liked. Emperor sounded cool- and no ones arguing with me... Ik its someones pet peeve, but hey from reddit the show sucked, and I might still enjoy watching it. My work is gonna be as bad as the writing, also how friendly empoerer scorpians are HAH XD
... I kinda added that their was a disease that just never gets talked about, and eveyrones just, monotone, tired, depressed, something with slow mating cycles and infertility and miscarriges.......... From what I learned empowers are usually aggressive after giving birth, so maybe that anger is channeled to fighting, belief of a lord that is survival and nature is cruel. or smth dark, and oc in the makaign for that.
maybe another scorpian thats seen stingers dad, try to cheer them up... A neutral perspective on bandits and such <3 such good writings ideas I am rushing, please send me link or an account <3
Concept writing of my oc with a placeholder name Magma- for volcano room
Magma is self-aware and quiet, easily accepting of failures, and accepts that not everyone will be a good person and do what they're fully capable of, but they understand they should still stand up for others. They like to argue when they fully research a specific topic, and will trauma dump at a moment's notice to keep the conversation going, they are extremely sensitive so any jokes at others' expense, just when it's directed at them – they quit side eyes – but with someone else is also in the butt of the joke they'll sting. They tend to hold grudges rather than holding others' hands out of awkwardness, having a hard time asking for help. They can bottle all their emotions up, and that leads to… More panic attacks and stinging a frog{Fear of water from threatening to be drowned from an accidental party bash, and misses the hot springs gifted from Chinese scorpion} they acted on it from stinging a frog helping them get to the other side{inspired by Tumblr short story{Lost it}.. They struggle with misinformation, everyone knowing the obvious royalty or power core, and the struggle of political disinterest and being the eldest to have to take the crown and responsibility. He can be bitter about others being wrong or not that self-aware, always keeping to themselves, but the inevitable panic of intrusive thoughts of accidentally murdering someone. They Value and adore it when people like them and know their bad, or even stay, to be listened to is nice and they can only be so much. They can come across as sweet, sometimes a bit obvious to their surroundings, or forgetful souls, but on other occasions, they can play the oblivious card. While plating obliviousness has its wins when seen as stupid, they tend to be insecure about the existence of their responsibility, but not exactly knowing how to not be the cause of corruption, assassinated siblings, letting things go bad, or secretly being power-hungry. Despite all of this, their family loves the self-isolating ‘Sun’ Daughter, and the people see them as having humility and being well educated but a person(forgetting, being neutral and self-aware of their bias on their interviews in boarding school.). They put others' needs before themselves, the weaker their friends, but an enemy could just die.

so from what i understand the catholic church doesn't have divorce. but are catholics like allowed to divorce in a secular way and then live apart and just not get married to other people because they're still seen as married in the eyes of the church
There is not divorce in the Catholic Church, that is correct. If someone gets a civil divorce, they are still seen as being married by the Church, and so would not be free to either get married to someone else or join a religious order. However, where things cannot be reconciled, whether that be abuse of the spouse, abuse of drugs or alcohol, or some such other grave reason, the Church does allow and encourage separation, and in some instances (especially in cases of abuse) civil separation in the form of divorce. Ideally both parties will want to become better in order to make it work, ie going o marriage and personal counseling, going to rehab where appropriate, etc. But, if the abuser is unwilling, it is lawful in the eyes of the Church to separate legally from them. Spiritually you are still married to that person, but if they are not upholding their vows of loving you by abusing you, you have the right to separate yourself from that.
This is lawful only for a few things, and more dubious reasons would be: infidelity (non-chronic, ie if it were only once), financial infidelity, things along those lines, where societal its seen as normal and good to divorce someone, but the Church says it should be taken very carefully, and only if these issues are chronic problems should separation be entertained, and only with spiritual and counselor supervision.
Reasons one cannot get separated: "we just don't like each other any more", marital problems that arise because of infertility, those sorts of things. Fundamentally these reasons are selfish for wanting to get a divorce, unlike the above reasons because it puts your wants and desires above your spouse's. In the cases of abuse, chronic infidelity, and the like, it is their unloving actions towards you that is causing the separation, as well as to protect yourself bodily (in cases of physical abuse).
These should also always be done under spiritual guidance (ie with a priest) as well as with a therapist, because they can help make things more clear from an outside perspective, and because a priest will know of parish/community social programs that can help people get out dangerous situations.

Honestly, Francesca's story was in my view the most complex, poignant, moving story of the Bridgerton series by far, and I'm not watching the TV version because I don't want it to ruin my view of my favorite Bridgerton book.
Even putting the pandering gender swap stuff aside, I loathe that the show is already making it seem like Francesca is just lukewarm towards John when the WHOLE ENTIRE FREAKING point (sorry for the caps, I get emotional about this!!) is that she truly, deeply loved John and therefore felt so guilty, confused and conflicted about eventually falling in love with Michael as well!
It's one of the only romance novels that shows we're capable of truly loving more than one person throughout our lives, just in different ways, instead of pushing the idea that you can only deeply, genuinely love one person per lifetime. If the show is implying that Francesca was never truly in love with John in the first place, literally the entire premise of that story no longer exists lol, and there would be basically no emotional conflict and no obstacle to Fran simply getting together with Michael after a socially acceptable time period had lapsed since John's death.
And making Michael a woman makes zero sense since so much of Francesca's struggle is about infertility. I applaud them for including a diverse cast and would be more than fine seeing different gender identities and sexualities represented, but why deliberately remove the whole point of an already canonically existing story and its characters?! The show gives us so many other characters/ships during every season, so why not just write new characters/stories that represent different genders/sexualities rather than radically changing/destroying one that already exists?!
Bridgerton has some individually great characters and scenes, but as a whole it drives me nuts lol.
Believe me, I get you whole-heartedly and I want to scream in caps about it also. Like literally one of my favorite things about Francesca's story IS how John and Michael are both lovable characters, you know? Both to Fran AND the audience. John isn't written as lukewarm or lame or wimpy just to make Michael stand out more or whatever. It is entirely believable that Francesca genuinely loves him and Michael does too and I like that he's part of the narrative and not just some random third wheel that holds everything up in a way that's annoying.
This is probably, out of all the Bridgerton books, the one that seems least like a romance novel and more like a story about Francesca the person who is trying to navigate love and life and all that, even though of course there's the romance and steamy stuff in it and I think that they're trying to make it more "romance-y" if that makes any sense (especially depending on how the fertility issue is dealt with in the genderswap, if it even is, which I doubt, cause it seems like the TV show is more about how much can we check off to make money?" rather than "how can we be diverse and whatever AND tell a good story?) I really wish that they just would have gone with original romances, since diversity and stuff is so important to Shonda and her people. Part of adaptation (if you want to claim it as such) is caring about and understanding the original source material and the people who love it and will want to be part of your audience (something big that the people who are working on the show don't get). Shonda has the clout and the following to do her own original work and still get people invested. If she were new and trying to build an audience, I'd understand a little more about how she and her team are choosing to work with Bridgerton, but since she's more established, I just see a woman who wants to make everything about her and her MO for a quick buck.

Exterminations & Disappearance - [ My Original Post ]
We're only told that Lilith empowered all of demonkind through her voice and song, and with it hell's number grew, and so did its power. The extermination happened because they were fearful of hell's number and growing power.
What if Lucifer and Lilith made a deal with Heaven? When they fell, God made Lilith infertile. It wasn't a big deal at first, but the desire to start a family took a toll on her over time. Lucifer and Lilith reached out to Heaven to grant Lilith the miracle of fertility. It came with the cost of allowing the exterminations to happen every X0 years and Lilith's role in the public eye would be downsized. Lucifer may have given up on sinners at this point and was focused on building a family. Lilith may have been hesitant about the deal but hoped that hell would still flourish without her aid.
Once Charlie was born, Lucifer and Lilith wanted to ensure the safety of their daughter. They went to heaven to re-negotiate the terms where all hellborns and demon citizens were excluded from the extermination, but the extermination woud now happen every year, Lucifer would not interfere with them, and Lilith has to step away from the public eye in hell.
Lucifer or Lilith could have made these deals on their own with Heaven. It would definitely create drama in their happy marriage. So… we're onto Lilith's disappearance and this is where the headcanons are more wibbily wobbly.
Lilith's disappearance may be a combination of her separation from Lucifer and Heaven. Heaven still thought of Lilith as a threat. Perhaps, Heaven wanted to keep Lilith in Heaven to ensure that she couldn't do anything in hell, and in return, the freedom that Lilith cherished so dearly would be passed on to her daughter. Heaven could not prevent the future princess from doing whatever she pleases.
I'm not sure why Lucifer and Lilith separated. Perhaps Lucifer insisted on it due to his depression and wanted his wife to flourish without him? Perhaps Eve caused miscommunication between the lovers, or there was infidelity? I can see the lovers being polyamory. However, communication and mutual understanding are key for it to happen.
If you made it this far, thank you so much for reading! I'll convert this to bullet point one day! I would love to hear some input about this...
Perhaps, future plots or threads with people? ♥ ♥ ♥

TW for chronic illnesses and body image issues/disphoria and infertility for some headcanons.
Lamikkaku anon here, I wanted to share some headcanons and thoughts about modern AU Lamikkaku because I think I've just come up with the most precious thing ever.
So, I think modern AU Lami would be cronically ill/have some health problems. (I was thinking about her being a survivor to childhood lung cancer that was caused by long term exposure to asbestos, since the Amber Lead Deasease seemed like it was referencing that. And therefore having long term health problems due to treatment)
It would affect her breathing and heart (cue Law deciding to become a cardiosurgeon to help people with similar problems) but also her body and personality as well. The steroids based treatments made her gain weight that she hardly lost, she has scars from various surgeries, and she became an introvert that struggles to meet new people. She feels guilty that she always made her parents worry and made Law miss out on many childhood experiences too, as he hardly saw his parents who were caretaking his sister and was mostly looked after by their godfather Corasan.
Cue my transfemm Ikkaku headcanon. She also struggles with acceptance and body immage issues, worrying about her appearence and not being "feminine enough", as well as some anger issues she develoeped due to tauning from others. I think she may also have issues with her family due to this. It contribuited in her being somewhat "hostile" when trying to meet new people and trusting them.
They met because of Law. Lami doesn't have many friends of her own so she hangs out in his friend group and meets Ikkaku. Its sorta of a love at first sight. Lami looks at Ikkaku and views her basically has a goddess: one with a flawless body, untouched by medical horrors, a sassy and sarcastic personality that sports a level of confidence that she can never have. And Ikkaku sees Lami as an angel: a kind, gentle person with such soft, and a heart of gold thats completely pure, cute ligneaments and a caring and amazing family that loves and supports her.
They start talking and getting close, opening up more to eachother, about their insecurities and fears. The topic of dating eventually comes up and both are very catious about it: Lami isn't sure about what she can give, her health problems are something she always saw as a burden, and she doesn't want to give this burden to anyone else. And Ikkaku thinks she would be awful for Lami, after all Lami is such a nice and kind person, Ikkaku considers herself far too brute to be good for her.
There is also another added thing... Lami can't have children. The treatment made her sterile, and its something she always knew but only really started grieving now. Part of her thinks this makes her an inadequate partner, a not good enough girlfriend (Bullshit, Lami is perfect and you know it) and Ikkaku also had mixed feelings about her own body functions, with transphobes harrassing her and saying shit like "ReAl WoMeN CaN GiVe BiRtH!!!" (Bullshit, I fucking hate this terf behaviour).
The two of them understand eachother deeply due to these things about themselves. Ikkaku never saw Lami's health as an obstacke, it just something that is part of her and makes her unique, and Lami doesn't give a shit about Ikkaku being trans, she loves her because of her personality and the way she is treated by her.
Eventually they do manage to start dating. Its a gradual process, but it doesn't matter because they have their love. They also protest and advocate for themselves, weather its trans/queer rights or better funding and medical treatments (insurance is a SCAM) and marriage equality in both cases.
Law couldn't be happier for her (he doesn't show it at all but he cries of happyness in a corner at least 5 times a day. Bepo calms him down) he also goes on double dates with them and [insert character you ship Law with].
And occasionally there are double dates with Penguin and Shachi as well (Penshachi and transmasc Penguin my beloved) but they have to be very carefull because if they mess something up Law will come after them with a weapon of mass destruction.
And Cora is so proud of them!!! His little girl finally finding confidence, loving her own skin, advocating for herself and all with the love of her life by her side. This man is so goddam happy you wont believe it!!! He gives Ikkaku his full blessing and some older transfolk advice (transmasc Corasan my beloved) he is already picturing their wedding, and he's crying about it. Someone get this man a tissue, or a blanket.
This is all so beautiful!! I've always loved Modern AUs but this one is especially soft. I love how they both have their own issues feeling loved but end up overcoming them together,,, Also, Cora would be the best father-in-law ever in the world. He's so. So happy. He loves Ikkaku so damn much-- And I think Law is concerned at first because he loves and trusts his friends a lot but whenever Lami and Ikkaku go on dates. Together. Alone. Law worries a lot in case something might happen. But Ikkaku is a sweetie with Lami and when Law realizes that everything is okay and the world isn't ending and nobody is dying he cries because he's just so so so relieved.
