I love Espio so much. I wish chameleons were real.

Espio looked so cool looking up at the sky with his fists at his sides…#the bloom is so INTENSE in that scene I’ll always think of that too lmao #also i think drawing espio from below angle is still really hard so i keep drawing it SLJGDGJL i still am not entirely happy with it EHHHH #Top Middle: Sonic Heroes / Olympic Games voice clips.#Espio gasps like hoooh! when he’s surprised happy. It’s a funny sound and it makes me happy. :3 #oh #and the colors here make it look like he’s going super huh. LOL. Unintentional but I’ll roll with that.#Top right: Sonic Heroes.#it rains in Frog Forest. I wish it rained the entire time.#i want a rainy level with Espio. Espio just sitting and calmly listening to the rain. kind of melancholy. it’s a mood.#also i used “watery” brush for this one and hated every second...#Left Middle: (at this point i'm regretting putting 8 espios in one canvas from having to summarize all the yap. i want to yap)#i wanted Espio to have an exasperated look on his face like Vector & Charmy did something weird.#the palette was purple / green / orange for their colors and I failed to consider that mixing complimentary colors makes #grey and green and purple give the vibe of something gross or toxic LOL. So… context makes it look more like disgust. That’s fine too.#Middle: Sonic Heroes voice clip.#I think the line when Espio is alone cuz the other team mates get knocked out in a team fight is the only #real voice clip where he sounds genuinely angry. I think about it a lot…#lol well the Forces one I drew more angry I guess. It doesn’t fit quite right for my memory but I still like it. he’s focused…#Left Bottom: Shadow 2005. Mad Matrix!#okay....#Mad matrix is NOT that colorful… but I wanted to draw Espio really colorful and “feel” all cyber-y #but I admit it’s mostly just an excuse to draw him colorful cuz I ALWAYS wanted to do that. I want to make a true Mad Matrix art one day…

Been watching Sonic 3 a lot and re-reading my IDW books, and wanted to experiment with my style of drawing sonic characters and started with the group I probably draw the least . Vector - with him being a big strong adult crocodile I wanted to show more of that, so I lengthened his tail and gave it the thick scales found on a lot of croc species (while its not specified what species he is I tend to think he is most Likely based on a Salt Water croc as they are one of the more well known species) I beefed up his legs a lot as I find it really odd he is this massive reptile with these skinny ass noodle legs , the thin legs work find for the other characters but for Vector they just looked silly so now he has muscular hind legs more like a crocodile . I also added a lot more detailing the Scales

Espio - So I wanted to have more fun with Espio but while googling what kind of chameleon he is .... all Google had to say was he is a "purple Chameleon" yeah real helpful there google lol, So I based him more off a Jackson's Chameleon based on nose horn length and the large spines on his back and so added a more bony structure around his eyes and adding smaller brow horns .

Charmy - honestly didn't change much to Charmy but I made him a LOT fluffier as I found he is based on a Bumblebee from what I could find. I also made his eyes more angular and octagonal in shape to kinda give the bug eye lens look (im tired I can't remember the term for it) ART IS MINE AND I DO NOT GIVE PERMISSION TO COPY! EDIT! OR USE FOR ANYTHING WITHOUT PERMISSION! Charmy, Vector, and Espio belong to Sega
