Following an accident, Danny wakes up in Gotham City in a DC universe. Lacking any forms of ID or possessions beyond the clothes on his back, he’s forced to commit some crimes to survive. Minor crimes, but still.

And then he gets caught.

During the court proceedings, they come to the mistaken conclusion that he’s a Meta suffering from some psychiatric issues such as Cotard’s Syndrome (a real rare condition where a person holds the delusional belief that they’re dead/don’t exist/etc).

Thus, between his “need for mental treatment” and the concerns about housing someone with his unique physical traits, he is sentenced to spend time in Arkham Asylum. He’s under pretty low security aside from the anti-Meta stuff and has more freedoms than some other inmates, but it’s still not a great experience. Even at the best of times, Arkham is hardly a nice place.

Some of his fellow residents are decently chill all things considered, but lots very much aren’t.

danny barely crosses paths with jason, but the stench of his ecto is so rotten and rancid that he instantly decides that he needs to help out

understanding that any liminal that knows that they're liminal is probably pretty cagey, he decides to go about this without any direct confrontation

this goes really, really wrong. really, really fast.

Jason walks into his safehouse and sees a thermos that he doesn't own sitting at his kitchen counter. There's a sticky note tacked onto the front that says smoothie :D in unfamilliar handwriting, complete with the sideways smiley face. He is Not Amused even before he realises that there's lazarus water inside.

He disposes of it.

Danny's like wow, that didn't do SHIT and figures the guy needs a little more of a push, so this time he makes two smoothies.

He has no idea what he's just begun. At all.

exam 5 for me... tomorrow!

honestly have been feeling really nervous for this exam since my classmates have either failed it or just barely passed. and i had less time to study this time around because i rushed to book the exam.

so i drew this little encouragement early cuz i need the reminder that no matter what happens tomorrow, i did what i could and i didn't compromise on my boundaries—and that is its own victory.

and i hope that you'll be reminded to celebrate your own big and small victories too!

One thing I’ve learned in drama school is since in Shakespeare’s time there wasn’t really safe drinking water, everyone drank beer all the time to stay hydrated (including children who drank “small beer” which had less but still an okay amount of alcohol), which would mean that everyone would definitely have a higher tolerance than modern people, but would still be kinda drunk all the time. The City of Brass, being in the plane of Fire, does not have access to much water naturally, but their mortal residents would still need to stay hydrated in some way despite the lack of water native to the plane of Fire. In this essay I will-

First impression Law vs. actual Law is so crazy cause when we first meet him, he's this asshole(affectionate) who makes whimsical little torso tornados and travels with a bunch of dudes in jumpsuits, and then you meet him for real and he's some... edgy twink with a friend group that consists of a furry and bunch of dorks, and an inability to play nice with people who're at the same skill level as him.
