#What Do Reiki Practitioners Feel

one day i will make my ultimate dream video essay. which is where i go around to every chiropractic business in my area that offers free consultations and tell them all the same set of symptoms (real or not) and document how different each of their responses is re: what is supposedly wrong with me. my hypothesis is that i will get a range of answers like my legs being uneven or my spine being too hunched or a knot being between my ribs or whatever, thus proving that they’re just bullshitting to me to sign up for however many weeks or months of “treatment” and consistently give them money for doing nothing of value at all
#alternately I could lie to them about my symptoms and see how they all play into my fake condition#because I have a feeling that if I were to say like. ohh yeah I played A Sport throughout all of middle and high school and at one point I#tore a ligament in my whatever and ive had problems with it ever since….. and they’d check out the area and be like oh yeah… I feel the knot#there for sure. this is pretty serious and needs some pretty intensive adjustments….#and boy I’d love to have that shit documented and put into a video. my anti-chiro manifesto#I’d have to look into laws about recording and whatnot (esp cause I’d rather do it covertly if possible)#but even if I couldn’t share recordings for whatever reason I could still document what I heard and compare them to one another#this is the ultimate end goal of my major in film studies and minor in religious studies#whatever this is. yes#anyway. not sure why im mentioning this now. I really need to start making video essays and build up to something like this#kibumblabs#edit: I KNOW ive seen a study where someone did this at some point (not in video form but like. an actual study)#but I lost the link and haven’t been able to find it. it’s out there though. surely im not the first to think about this#I could do this for all sorts of alt ‘healing’ practices honestly I’d have so much fun with that#like. another video with the same general premise but im going to fucking reiki practitioners or something instead#and documenting how the issues with my aura differ wildly from person to person. it’s a blockage in the heart chakra. it’s an overactive#sacral chakra. it’s a misalignment of all the chakras. its cords that need cutting. etc etc etc#I could keep doing this as long as it takes to get me a reputation#I think I just want to be the contemporary of the amazing randi. rip king i WILL keep your legacy alive#im so serious this is the dream

🌍 You will either get very drunk, consume drugs or smoke some weird shit on your Neptune ASC line (pls take care of your health)
🌍 You could randomly meet an ex or someone who resembles your ex while travelling to your Chiron DSC line

Who's coming towards you and what do they bring to the table?

Group 1 - Spider lilly
Who are they? In Japanese culture, the spider lily is believed to bloom near graves. It is associated with the afterlife and the notions of death and rebirth. This flower holds a very scorpionic energy. It is also a symbol of eternal love. This specific white lily shown in the picture is also a symbol of purity and innocence. If we take that into account, the person coming towards you can be viewed as mysterious and deep, somewhat cold. But once you get to know them, you realize that they are rather outgoing and pure, kind and childlike. They marvel at the beauty of life and want nothing but to love and be loved.
Looking at the different cards you got, there’s a lot of emphasis on communication and voicing one’s opinions or truth without fear. This person could have a beautiful voice. They could be a singer or a spokesperson, an advocate or any other profession that involves speaking to a large audience. This person seems to be shy and rather harsh on themselves. They take pride in what they do and the values they stand for. When their actions are not in alignment with their ideals, they tend to criticize themselves a lot. They are represented by Bismuth and Turquoise, both blue crystals. The throat chakra holds an important significance to this person, as well as emotions, intuition and water. Blue could be their favorite color. This person could burn themselves out often by being present for others more than showing up for themselves. They could get throat sickness quite often, especially when they are repressing their truth or telling lies. They have a sharp tongue. They use their voice to shed light on what is contradictory or what needs to evolve. They help people shift their perspective. Teaching could also be their career path.
What do they bring to the table? - Queen of pentacles, 7 of wands, 4 of cups, The Moon, The Fool, Judgement, White Numen
This person brings in major shifts in your life. Renewal is the best way to describe it. They will literally put your world upside down in order to help you gain perspective on what is going on. They’ll show you that there’s nothing wrong in standing for what you believe in. They’ll also teach you how to be the bigger person and choose your battles wisely. They’ll help you introspect and listen to your intuition, take a new start in life and get retribution by accomplishing what you were meant to do in this life time. This person will help you find your true calling and your voice in this global cacophony that is the world we currently live in. With them, you will create a reality in your image. They will also help you value yourself more and set yourself free from any dependence or addiction. They’ll help you detach yourself from people’s judgmental views. Significant zodiac signs for this group are Taurus, Cancer and Scorpio. You can wear blue or connect to the energy of Bismuth and Turquoise to understand this person better on a spiritual level and manifest them into your life.
Group 2 - Lavender
Who are they? Lavender is known to have soothing properties. It is often used in aromatherapy to ease the mind and release tensions related to anxiety, stress. Lavender is a symbol of devotion, serenity and grace. With its purple petals, it could be associated with the spiritual realm. This person is very delicate and kind hearted. They consider people with a lot of care and kindness. They have a pure heart and make people feel safe. They remind me of Taurus and their Venusian sensual and loving energy. This person is down to earth and wise beyond their years. Their crown chakra is highly active. It wouldn’t surprise me if this person already connected with you through your dreams. They could very well be a therapist, a reiki practitioner, a healer that uses alternative medicines or unconventional practices like crystal healing or sound healing. This is further confirmed by two cards of the Threads of fate deck that are related to air and ether : share wisdom and The Sage. This person is a guide and mentor to others. They could be a teacher, some type of guru or an important public figure, a coach, a counselor. This person is very powerful and influent. They could have published a book or a study or shared their experience and what they learned over time online.
They are represented by the hammerhead shark. They have a lot of determination and drive. They are also incredibly mature. They could very well be older than you. I’d say at least ten years older. Purple and blue could be their favorite colors. If they were a major arcana, I think this person would be the Hermit. So Cancer could also be relevant. They are also represented by Kyanite and Amethyst. Kyanite is advised to people who feel restless, who overthink or get caught in their mental space too often. This shows that this person is a deep thinker. They take things seriously and meticulously. Amethyst is often used in spiritual practices to deepen our connection to the spirit realm and gain clarity. To hone our psychic skills. This person feels very connected to their higher self. They know who they are, what they were meant to do and where they’re heading. They are focused on their mission and won’t lose their time with insignificant matters.
What do they bring to the table? - 7 of cups, 3 of wands, 9 of cups, Temperance, 4 of swords, The Lovers, 5 of swords Other significant zodiac signs are Gemini, Sagittarius and Pisces. This person will teach you how to identify your needs and choose a path that is in alignment with your higher self and your highest good. They’ll help you find balance and emotional satisfaction in the projects that you pursue, the actions you take. They’ll teach you how to recognize the symptoms of anxiety and being overwhelmed by life so that you can retreat and protect yourself. They’ll teach you how to pick your battles wisely and ignore petty attitudes from your peers. They’ll help you handle the pressure of being your true self and choosing yourself over others. They’ll teach you how to love yourself and how to love, how to be in love and receive love. I can say here that this relationship has romantic potential. Surprisingly this part of the reading is the shortest but I feel like there’s no need to overanalyze this because this person will be pretty clear with their intent : they’re here to help and support you, "and that is all you need to know" they want to add.
Group 3 - Sunflower
Who are they? I associate the Sunflower with the bold and brave Leo. I heard in my mind "only the brave" which is the name of a perfume from Diesel. So this could be this person’s perfume. With it’s bright colors and relation to the sun, it is safe to say this person has a bright personality. They are outgoing and friendly, like to be seen and admired. They take great care of their body and appearance. Hence the fragrance reference. This person is cheerful and ambitious. They don’t like lying down and contemplating. They would rather act first and think later. They could have anger issues and sometimes be jealous. The signs of Leo and Aries could be significant. Blue and green could be their favorite colors. This person is represented by the whale shark and the octopus. They are very clever and resilient. They have a strong moral compass and always lead their life according to their values and principles. They remind me of Changbin from Stray Kids. This person likes to make their own mind instead of following others. They’re a natural leader and a loner. With The Creator card and the Withdraw card from the Threads of fate deck, this tells me that this person is creative and works independently. They could be a fashion designer, a writer, a producer, a webdesigner, an architect, a freelance artist in any domain. This person could be known on social media. On the withdraw card is a sleeping fox. This tells me that this person likes their solitude. They need time alone to recharge and create. They don’t like showing people their tricks. They like to surprise and impress. The creator card shows a hand holding a wand. This for some reason reminds me of Harry Potter. Maybe your person is a potter head. In this case, they’re the typical Gryffindor : athletic, loyal, thinks with their heart (or something else a bit lower when the heart isn’t functioning). They have a strong sex drive and are pretty sensual. Their body matters a lot to them. They go to the gym often.
What do they bring to the table? - 2 of cups, ace of swords, page of wands, ace of pentacles, six of cups, The Tower, 7 of wands
To put it simply, they bring love, sex and a whole lot of fun. But this will be challenging for you, as you are not used to this type of energy. Significant zodiac signs are Scorpio, Sagittarius and Pisces. They bring in new opportunities and a new start romantically speaking. They bring in new experiences and that includes sexuality. They will help you reconnect with the past and make amends with it. They will help you heal your inner child and release trauma regarding intimacy. They will challenge you and push your buttons to get the best out of you. That is their way of showing you love. This is the type of person that will wake you up one morning and get you out of bed to work out with them, and gently scream at you positive affirmations while you’re working on that "summer body" you always wanted. They’ll show you how to have fun with life and explore all the hidden parts of you that you were burying because you were afraid of rejection. They’ll cut through your walls and uncover your masks for you so that you can finally get the happy ending that you deserve. They’ll be your knight in shining armor except that instead of saving you they’ll get you to save yourself. If you ever try to push them away, they’ll only come back stronger and needier. You won’t get rid of them easily.

Energy Work On The Body: Hittin' The Right Spots For Tension Relief
While evidence does not suggest that energy healing alone is a reliable method of curing serious illnesses, there is still some evidence that energy healing techniques do provide some benefit. For example, Reiki applied by trained practitioners was found to promote relaxation and improve one's mood. And that's not nothing! Stress is hard on your mind and body.
Now, I will not be talking about chakras here, but I will instead offer an alternative approach. The main reason is that the concept of chakras that most of us are accustomed to is pretty bastardized from their origins. Another reason is that our bastardized concept of chakras isn't really a useful framework for what I'm about to talk about.
(If you want to learn more about how chakras have been appropriated and bastardized, scroll down to the end.)
Instead, I'm going to ask you to consider where your body tenses up under stress. This might be:
Your forehead
Your jaw
Your neck and shoulders
Your upper chest/heart region
Your upper back
Your abdominal area
Your hands
Your hips
Or maybe you tense up somewhere else! But in any case, try and observe where your body tenses up or where you start feeling pain when you're stressed out. (If you start feeling sick to your stomach when people talk about politics or religion, that's a stress response!)
Once you've figured this out, you want to get yourself relaxed. You can try any meditation technique you want, or you might try laying in bed with relaxing music or even a podcast or audiobook, whatever helps. As you lay there, visualize peaceful healing energies on your tension spot. You may not notice anything different immediately, but if you keep it up for several days you might find that it makes a difference.
Happy witchin'!

The Four Models of Magic: Finding Your Magical Operating System
Understanding the frameworks behind how spells work (and why they might not)
Magic, for all its candles and cauldrons, has a backbone. Not just a spiritual one, but a conceptual one—an architecture of meaning that shapes how we understand the strange, numinous art we call spellwork. Behind every enchantment, every prayer, every charm whispered in the dark, there is an operating system. A model. A lens.
And like all lenses, what you look through changes what you see.
Welcome to the Four Models of Magic: the Energy Model, the Spirit Model, the Psychological Model, and the Informational Model. Think of these not as competing theories, but as overlapping frameworks—each a valid way of describing the mechanics of magic, each useful depending on what you're trying to do.
Let’s walk through each one, not just as definitions, but as lived realities. Because if you’re reading this, you’re likely already using one or more of these models in your practice—even if you didn’t know they had names.
🌿 The Energy Model: Magic as Force and Flow
This is the most widely known and intuitive model, especially in New Age, modern witchcraft, and metaphysical communities. It sees magic as an act of manipulating unseen energies that exist within and around all things.
Core Idea: Everything is made of energy. Magic works by channeling, raising, directing, or aligning that energy.
If you’ve ever raised a cone of power, charged a crystal under the moon, or visualized light flowing through your body, you’ve worked with the energy model.
Practices Often Aligned With This Model:
Energy healing (Reiki, chakra work)
Crystal magic
Elemental and planetary correspondences
Visualization and meditation
Auras and energetic shielding
Strengths:
Tangible and experiential — you can feel the shift
Supports embodiment and intuition
Aligns with many indigenous and holistic spiritual systems
Limitations:
Hard to measure or explain in scientific terms
Can be vague if not grounded in structure
🕯️ The Spirit Model: Magic as Relationship and Reverence
The spirit model holds that magic works because of our relationships with conscious beings — deities, ancestors, spirits of place, angels, demons, fae, and more.
Core Idea: Magic happens through petition, alliance, or partnership with spirits who aid, carry, or enforce our will.
This is the traditional model behind most historical magic — from ancient Greek theurgy to folk Catholicism to Hoodoo and shamanic practice.
Practices Often Aligned With This Model:
Deity work and devotional rituals
Ancestral veneration
Spirit communication and mediumship
Offerings and pact-based magic
Necromancy and animism
Strengths:
Deepens connection and context for spiritual work
Rich in lore, tradition, and mythic symbolism
Creates ongoing relationships with spiritual allies
Limitations:
Requires trust, discernment, and spiritual hygiene
Can be misused or misunderstood as outsourcing power
🧠 The Psychological Model: Magic as Mind and Meaning
This model focuses on the role of belief, intention, and subconscious symbolism in magical practice. Magic isn’t about external forces — it’s about internal transformation.
Core Idea: Magic works because we engage the subconscious mind, shift our perceptions, and rewire patterns through ritual and symbol.
You might think of it like Jungian psychology meets ceremonial spellwork.
Practices Often Aligned With This Model:
Shadow work and inner child healing
Sigils and chaos magic
Archetype-based spellcraft
Affirmations and self-hypnosis
Pathworking and dreamwork
Strengths:
Evidence-supported through modern psychology
Empowers the practitioner as the source of power
Useful for trauma-informed and self-reflective work
Limitations:
Can feel reductive or overly rational
May dismiss spiritual or mystical experiences
📚 The Informational Model: Magic as Code and Communication
This is the least known but most futuristic model — often overlapping with chaos magic, occult theory, and digital witchcraft. It frames magic as the manipulation of information — the underlying data or blueprint of reality.
Core Idea: The universe is like a computer, and magic is a language or program that rewrites the code.
In this model, correspondences, symbols, names, and rituals act like syntax in a programming language. You're altering reality by inputting new commands.
Practices Often Aligned With This Model:
Sigil and servitor creation
Cyber witchcraft and technomagic
Quantum magic theory
Data-driven divination (e.g. numerology, astrology)
Magical linguistics and occult semiotics
Strengths:
Highly adaptable, especially in digital and modern contexts
Offers a bridge between magic and science
Appeals to analytical or tech-minded witches
Limitations:
Can feel abstract or depersonalized
May neglect emotional or spiritual depth
🌒 Why These Models Matter
Understanding these four models helps you:
Clarify your magical worldview
Troubleshoot your spellwork (did it fail because of energy, belief, or spiritual dynamics?)
Choose tools and techniques that resonate with your path
Communicate your practice with nuance and precision
You don’t have to pick just one. In fact, most eclectic witches move fluidly between them. You might charge a candle with energy (Energy Model), dress it with oil and speak to a deity (Spirit Model), encode your intention with a sigil (Psychological Model), and time the ritual based on astrological patterns (Informational Model).
Each model is a map — and you’re the one doing the traveling.
So ask yourself: Which one feels like home? Which one challenges you? Which one might unlock a part of your magic you haven’t met yet?
Your magic, like you, contains multitudes. And that’s the beauty of it.
Blessed be the energy. Blessed be the spirit. Blessed be the mind. Blessed be the code.
— Reine

heyy, how are you? I have a question, feel free to answer whenever. What authors, books do you recommend for starting on energy work? i love your articles on the subject and I'd love to do more research but the internet is a rabbithole for reiki enthusiasts
I don’t do book recommendations. But I can tell you this: if a book about energy work contains the words ”Reiki” “Chakra” (unless it’s 100% based in Hindu or Buddhist practice), or “visualize”, it will be of zero benefit. If you’d like to learn more about energy work, I’d recommend two things,
1: Avoid all New Age bullshit, instead talk with practitioners of Taoist Magic.
2: Adopt a scientific approach. Experiment, trial and error. Account for bias as best you can.

Why Reiki Could Be Your Next Step in Personal Growth
Ever wondered why some people seem to radiate wellbeing? They have this glow about them, this sense of being grounded and at peace, even when life gets hectic.
More often than not, these people have discovered something that most of us miss: the power of working with energy.
Now, you might think this sounds a bit strange. Energy work? Really? But stay with me, because understanding how energy affects us might just change your life.
What Makes Reiki Different?
Reiki isn't like other healing methods. There's no physical manipulation of the body, no complex techniques to master. It works simply by channeling energy through light touch or hands hovering above the body.
But don't let this simplicity fool you.
Think of it like breathing. Breathing is simple, yet it's essential for life. Reiki is similar - it's straightforward but remarkably effective.
How Reiki Actually Works
When you receive Reiki, something interesting happens. The practitioner becomes like a conduit for universal life force energy. This energy then flows to where your body needs it most.
Your body is incredibly intelligent. It knows exactly what it needs - we just need to give it the right resources.
That's what makes Reiki special. You don't need to diagnose problems or figure out what needs fixing. The energy goes where it's needed, doing what needs to be done.
Beyond the Basics
Here's something most people don't realize about Reiki: it's not just about healing specific issues. It's about creating balance in your entire system.
When your energy system is balanced:
You're naturally more resilient to stress
Your body can heal more efficiently
You think more clearly
You sleep better
You have more energy throughout the day
The Learning Path
Learning Reiki happens in three stages:
Reiki Level 1 is where it all begins. You learn to connect with Reiki energy and use it for self-healing and helping others. This level alone can transform your life.
Reiki Level 2 takes things deeper. You learn sacred symbols that enhance your connection to Reiki energy. You also learn distance healing - yes, you can send healing energy to someone on the other side of the world!
Reiki Master Level is where you master advanced techniques and, if you choose, learn to teach others.
The Less Known Benefits
Here's something interesting that most people don't know about Reiki: it can actually help improve your intuition. When you work with energy regularly, you become more attuned to subtle information around you.
You might find yourself:
Knowing who's about to call before the phone rings
Sensing when someone needs help before they ask
Making better decisions because you're more in tune with your gut feelings
A Natural Part of Life
One of the beautiful things about Reiki is how naturally it fits into daily life. You don't need special equipment. You don't need to set aside hours each day.
Got a headache? Give yourself some Reiki while watching TV. Can't sleep? Use Reiki as you lie in bed. Stressed at work? Take a few minutes to run energy while sitting at your desk.
Moving Forward
If you're interested in learning more about Reiki, there are several ways to start:
Book a session with a qualified practitioner
Read about others' experiences with Reiki
Consider taking a Level 1 course
The key is finding a teacher who maintains the integrity of traditional Japanese Reiki while making it accessible and practical for modern life.
Remember: Reiki isn't about becoming someone different - it's about becoming more fully yourself. It's about tapping into abilities you already have but might not know how to access.

Whatever form of spiritual guidance and healing you gravitate towards - psychic readings, reiki, sound baths, wellness retreats - it is meant to be used as a tool to add on to your own wisdom. It's meant to compliment your own knowing and intuitive sense of health, it’s not meant to become a dependence.
When you start to feel unbalanced because it's been too long since you've had a reiki session, or you can't make a big life decision without consulting your tarot reader, you've lost the point of these tools. You've outsourced the work of the spiritual journey.
These tools are here to aid and guide you, to help clear the fog on your path, not carve out and determine the whole path itself.
The core of what you need to be balanced and thriving is a strong connection to yourself; your own body, mind and spirit. These practices are here to bring you back to yourself and your own equilibrium.
I've noticed people around me saying things like -
"I just won't feel relaxed until my Mom's visit is over, then I can see my reiki guy." "I wish I had the money to book this wellness retreat and finally heal some stuff." "I have to book a session with my reader so I can figure out what to do."
I get where they're coming from. These things do help. It is much easier to meditate and be zen after a reiki session; wellness retreats have a huge impact on healing; and a good reader can absolutely help guide your decision making process.
But if you're constantly looking outside yourself for solutions, what happens when those solutions aren't available? How much are you strengthening your spirit and your own intuitive know-how?
In my experience, a good spiritual practitioner knows that you already have the solution within you, they're just here to help move along the process to get there. You don't need them. You absolutely can do it on your own. The tarot reader who taught me actually has a rule: no more than 3 readings a year with her, otherwise you are relying on her too much.
If you notice yourself seeking external solutions every time some friction arises, maybe it's time to step back and take a break. Be with yourself in periods of silence and see what unfolds from that.

How to Become a Witch
The great (but also intimidating) thing about witchcraft is that there's no one right way. You create your own path.
Things to think about on your witchy path:
Consider what witchy things you're interested in doing.
Research with discretion!
Consider if you want this to be religious or secular.
Consider if you want to use a magical/witch name.
Consider if you want to find a local coven.
Start a grimoire/Book of Shadows.
Gather starter supplies if you want to.
Get started!
1. Consider what witchy things you're interested in doing.
Each person's path is different, and that's okay.
What are YOU interested in doing with witchcraft?
If you need ideas, here are some things people like to work with:
Plants
Crystals
Divination (tarot, runes, etc.)
The moon
Astrology and astronomy
Deities
The sea
Healing (herbal remedies, Reiki, etc.)
Folk magic
Food
Ancestors
Here are some things people like to create:
Spell jars
Anointing/devotional oils
Moon/sun/thunder water
Individualized tarot decks
Prayer beads
Sigils
Altars (full-size, travel, or pocket)
Statues
Charmed jewelry
2. Research with discretion!
Research is so very important in witchcraft. Learn from books; learn from experts. The Internet can be helpful but don't restrict yourself to TikTok videos.
Disclaimer: Don't believe everything you read. Use your discretion, and think critically before incorporating anything into your practice.
Important: As you learn, please note that there are closed communities (think Roma, Hoodoo, or Kabbalah) that you can't join just because you want to. They are restricted to people in those communities. Along the same lines, do not do closed practices unless you are a part of the associated community. For example, white sage and palo santo are sacred to Indigenous people, so it would be cultural appropriation for people in other communities to use them.
Anyway, now that I've said "community" a million times, let's move on.
For example
Here are some witchy books I've enjoyed recently:
True Magick: A Beginner's Guide by Amber K
Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham (yes, it's Wicca-specific, but there's useful information even if you're not interested in that aspect)
Kitchen Table Magic by Melissa Cynova
A Book of Pagan Prayer by Ceisiwr Serith
The Tarot Bible by Sarah Bartlett
3. Consider if you want this to be religious or secular.
Do you want to include religion in your practice?
If you enjoy spirituality and religion, you're not alone. There are Wiccans, Christian witches, pagan witches... the list goes on.
Conversely, some people prefer to keep witchcraft separate from religion.
For example
For me, my witchcraft is intertwined with religion.
I work with deities. I pray over my cards and my spell jars.
4. Consider if you want to use a magical/witch name.
Some people choose a magical name to help themselves feel more present in the witchcraft. Others choose one for safety reasons.
You don't need a witch name, but if it interests you, go for it!
If numerology matters to you, you can use this site to calculate your life path number and the corresponding number for any witch names you're considering.
For example
My magical/witch name is Violet. I wanted a name derived from nature, and I wanted it to match my life path number (2).
5. Consider if you want to find a local coven.
Do you want to practice witchcraft on your own, or with other people?
For example
I've been a solitary practitioner for about 4 years now, but I'm actually joining a local Wiccan coven's beginner class this autumn. We'll see how it goes, but I'm excited to have a community!
6. Start a grimoire/Book of Shadows.
If you're not familiar, a grimoire or Book of Shadows (BOS) is just the place where a witch keeps her notes on the practice.
These notes can be physical or digital.
Witches often outline their rituals, spell recipes, and other magical info here. They may also journal about their experiences as a witch, how they've grown in the practice, things they've learned, etc.
It's important to have your own BOS so your knowledge is A) written down so you can refer to it again and B) all compiled conveniently in one place.
For example
At the moment, I use a digital BOS. It's hosted on Notion (yes, the free version).
Here are some of the pages in my BOS:
What witchery means to me
About me
Herb associations
Tarot associations
Spells
Moon phases
Sabbats
Sigils
Rituals
Witchy reading list
Witchy to-do list
Witchy calendar
(Separate from my BOS, I have a tarot journal in a physical notebook, where I track all my tarot readings. I also have a massive notebook where I keep notes on my interpretations of the cards and write out spreads as I learn them.)
7. Gather starter supplies if you want to.
You don't have to spend a thousand dollars on this. Your local dollar store or thrift shop is truly a blessing for witchy shopping, especially if you don't have any metaphysical shops nearby.
Consider what you want to do with witchcraft, and pick things that fit those desires. Don't buy something just because someone on the Internet said to.
You don't have to get everything all at once, either!
Some beginner supplies you might consider:
Tall (seven-day) candles
A notebook, sketchbook, or bullet journal for your Book of Shadows
Spices (cinnamon sticks, cloves, rosemary, mint, bay leaves, etc. Look at the ingredients list for the spells you want to cast before you buy!)
Glass jars with lids/corks
A small plate or bowl for offerings
One (1) tarot deck
For example
Here's a $20 Dollar Tree witchy haul video by Magickal Perspective:
youtube
(Would you be interested in seeing me do a dollar-store witchy haul on a budget? Let me know in the replies!)
8. Get started!
Yes, after me hitting you over the head with the research aspect, you finally get to do something with all that knowledge.
If you wait until you know everything, you'll never start. You're building your own path, and if you want to be witchy, you can start when you feel ready. Well, ready-ish. As ready as you're gonna be.
Pick something you're interested in, protect yourself, and then get going!
Summary
Things to think about on your witchy path:
Consider what witchy things you're interested in doing.
Research with discretion!
Consider if you want this to be religious or secular.
Consider if you want to use a magical/witch name.
Consider if you want to find a local coven.
Start a grimoire/Book of Shadows.
Gather starter supplies if you want to.
Get started!
Now go forth and become a witch, if that's what works for you!

Jewitch Self-Analysis: Regular Practice
I'm well past the hyperfocus that led to me making this blog last summer, and I've been analyzing where I'm at with my regular magic practice. It's funny, for as much as I love the energy and mindsets that surround the witchy community, I'm not what you would call an active practitioner? And I think I'm accepting this fact, more than I was before when I had grandiose plans for the Jewitch I wanted to be.
A little background to what contributed to this conclusion.
I tried out tarot divination 100 days in a row, from a daily card pull to a more in-depth spread. It turned from trying to predict the day to a simple daily reflection before I went to bed. Then about as soon as I completed the challenge I set down my cards I haven't picked them up since. These days I just pay attention to anything unusual, and frequently my shuffled songs bring up music that reflects where I'm at. I came to this realization that I don't need to try to predict my future, because I know I can adapt to anything that comes my way.
I took a Reiki class to develop my energy work skills, and I have not kept up with the daily practice my instructor insisted on. I do a self-treatment once in a blue moon, but overall it requires more energy to practice than I feel I receive from it. I also haven't been in a situation where I needed any additional healing, because I am generally in pretty safe situations and feel unbothered by little burns or bruises that serve to remind me of my humanity.
A month ago I stuck up a mezuzah in my car, and I saw that it didn't have a Shemah scroll inside it. And my thought was, "that's okay, I carry the Shemah inside of me." I still kiss the little mezuzah with the intentions of protection while driving and to deter potential thieves, knowing that ultimately I am actually passing on that intention to the universe which will decide how to handle it.
With all of this, I feel that the only spell I am casting on the regular is "trust the universe." Both with my daily prayers to express gratitude, and frequent thoughts of trust. By practicing so little I feel I am investing the power of my trust into HaShem, and I am consistently rewarded with a beautiful life and no more weight than what I can carry.
Sometimes I'll do easy extra spells if I want a little extra oomph. I may engage in a little magic to prepare me for the day, simple things like adding intention to my breakfast to increase my energy, or sometimes moving my hands in motions of protection when I know it's going to be rough (usually when it's windy, which can drain me). I use a particular hand motion to combat my anxiety, and I sing mindlessly to center myself or improve focus.
And that's about it. These topics interest me, I like collecting resources and skills to stick in my back pocket, but overall I am not what past me would consider a true practitioner. And that's okay. I'm at peace with the passive Jewitch I am right now.

Ah, rock shows. The mix of serious gem and fossil sellers, amazing crafters, random jewelry sellers, and woo-woo crystal magic followers.
One booth owner assured me all the jewelry was infused with Reiki energy and that music bowls were involved and so forth. To me, this is code saying, "all wares are marked up because magic," so I moved on pretty quickly. The next booth had wonderful prices on simple carvings and random tumbled/polished stones. I dropped some money there, while listening to a family discuss the magical properties of various stones while they tried to decide what to buy. At one point, the booth owner was asked about the particular magic abilities of a particular stone, and I'm impressed at how she refrained from rolling her eyes as she recommend they look it up on google. Her booth was NOT selling magical items, so I'm not sure why this group thought she'd know whether serpentine has healing energy or whatnot.
Upon reflection, I probably should have gone back and bought more from her. The agate dragon heads were pretty cool.
I guess I just find it weird because back when I was into all things occult and mystic, "crystal magic" was explained as, "the rocks aren't actually magic. Some rocks are just good at focusing and amplifying certain energies, so they make good tools for doing magic." As in, any magic going on is coming from you, the rock is a rock to anyone else. And these days practitioners insist that the rocks are full of magic energy and just holding or wearing such and such stone will heal all your ills! Funny how there can be bins of $5 quartz readily available in a lot of places, but people still die of cancer, huh?
It's also possibly irritating to me because a lot of my selection IS based on personal vibes, and I don't like people blathering about magic that they haven't even researched properly while I'm trying to decide if this piece of jasper I'm holding will make me happy when I roll it around in my hands and study the abstract pictures in it. "Do you like rock? Does rock make you feel happy when you hold it? Buy rock. Don't expect rock to cure love life. Rock only bring love if you trying to attract geologist."
Which brings us to the multiple bins of penis carvings. The ones with little feet were charming, but most of them were just, "here's a bunch of dicks carved out of onyx!" Not that I'm objecting or anything. I fully understand why you might want a stone dick on your shelf or endtable. It's just with the magic talk floating around, I suspect some sellers would be giving me a lecture on how the carving will cure a person's erectile dysfunction if I showed any interest.
I don't know why the most common carving throughout the show was mushrooms. Except that it's probably a really easy thing to carve. I did consider buying one of the carved t-rex heads that were next to the dicks, but I would have had to risk using a downtown ATM to afford one, and that always gets my cards locked due to "suspicious activity."
I ended up with a bag of angelite that I'm going to try my hand at carving, a bag of I don't know what but they were pretty and the deal was for two bags, and I didn't need TWO bags of angelite, two nice tumbled pieces of ocean jasper that had interesting eye-like patterns, a crude sphere of I don't know what stone, but it looks neat, some beads that were on severe discount, a little bag of little fossils meant as a collector's starter kit, four cut pieces of quartz that were in the bargain bin because they were cloudy and full of inclusions (which is how I prefer them), and one rough opal that I couldn't take my eyes off of. I regret passing up some of the affordable carvings, but I don't exactly have display shelf space, and the cats routinely send everything they encounter crashing to the floor anyway. Maybe next time.

Welcome to AstroChecker, your trusted spiritual partner, offering the Best Reiki Healing in Delhi NCR. What is Reiki Healing?
Reiki is a powerful form of energy healing that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. The word “Reiki” is derived from two Japanese words: Rei (Universal Life) and Ki (Energy). It is based on the belief that life energy flows through all living beings. When this energy is low or blocked, it can cause physical or emotional imbalance. Reiki works by channeling positive energy through the hands of the healer to the recipient, promoting natural healing on all levels — physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.
Why Choose Reiki Healing?
In today’s fast-paced world, stress, anxiety, and emotional burdens can weigh heavily on our well-being. Reiki provides a gentle, non-invasive solution to restore inner balance. People often turn to Reiki for:
Stress and anxiety reduction
Better sleep and relaxation
Healing emotional trauma
Relief from chronic pain

You may feel sensations like warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation. Many clients report an overwhelming sense of peace, emotional release, and even insight during or after the session. A typical session lasts 45 minutes to an hour, and multiple sessions are often recommended for long-term results.

Exploring the Many Paths of Spiritual Healing?
In every culture, in every era, people have moved to the spiritual realm for treatment, spiritual guidance, and strength. Whether the ancient rituals, holy mantras, or a simple touch, the human body and soul have always known that shamanic healing practices are far ahead of the physical body.
In the Mystic Kentah, we believe that true treatment is overall - it includes body, mind, soul, and energy fields. Spiritual treatment is not a one-size-fits-all trip. It is the path to search, learning, and alignment. Some people are ready for Reiki's quiet appearance.
Others get peace in sound therapy or insight through shamanic work. Your desire matters the most to find and hear what your soul needs. In this guide, we will explore many paths of spiritual treatment, show how they work, and what is right for you. Provide spiritual guidance on choosing what is right for you.
Whether you're just starting or deepening your spiritual practice, there is always more to uncover on this sacred journey.
What are Spiritual Healing Practices?
Spiritual Healing Practices are techniques or rituals that are used to restore the inner self -balance and harmony. Unlike modern therapy, which mainly treats physical symptoms, spiritual healing practices address the root energetic, emotional, and spiritual imbalance behind those symptoms.
The purpose of these methods is to align your internal energy field with universal vitality energy or divine consciousness. The beauty of spiritual healing is that it is deeply individual. The work he does for one person cannot work for another, and it's fine. As it is said, "Many rivers lead to the same ocean."
Why Do People Turn to Healing Practices?
Many people want spiritual treatment because they feel disconnected from themselves, overwhelmed by stress, or trapped in repeating emotional patterns. Other people can deal with trauma, anxiety, physical illness, or lack of direction in life. Healing practice offers a safe and sacred place to release these obstacles and reconnect with its internal light.
Common reasons people detect spiritual healing practices:
Chronic stress or emotional fatigue
Physical pain without a clear medical cause
Spiritual awakening
Sorrow, heartbreak, or major life changes
Desire to live more completely and deliberately
7 Popular Healing Practices Worth Exploring
Let's find out some of the most effective and widely practiced forms of spiritual healing practices. Everyone has their intelligence and power. You may feel ready for one or a combination naturally.
1. Reiki Healing
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique that includes the transfer of universal life force energy through the palms of a practitioner. The word "Reiki" comes from "ri" (universal) and "of" (life energy). Reiki sessions calm deeply and are often used to reduce stress, anxiety, and physical pain.
Good for: Emotional release, cycle alignment, post-trauma recovery
How it works: The businessman keeps their body on or slowly on their body, which gives medical energy in their energy field.
2. Sound Healing
The sound healing uses vibration frequencies to calm the nervous system, release clear energy obstructions, and raise consciousness. Tools such as Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks, and a gong are used to make treatment tones.
Good for: deep relaxation, meditation, balanced feelings
How it works: Sound frequencies resonate with the natural energy centers of your body, restoring harmony.
3. Crystal Healing
Crystals have been used as a tool for spiritual treatment and safety for centuries. Each crystal carries a specific vibration that interacts with your energy field. For example, Rose Quartz supports emotional treatment, while Black Tourmaline provides grounding.
Good for: meditation, emotional balance, increasing energy conservation
How it works: Crystals are placed on the body or used during attention to affect energy flow.
4. Chakra Healing
Chakras are spinning energy centers in the body. When they become blocked or unbalanced, it can affect your emotional and physical welfare. Chakra therapy used meditation, color therapy, confirmation, and energy function on the hands to re-achieve them.
Good for: Issue of stuck energy, finding internal balance, treating trauma
How it works: Each cycle (from root to crown) is focused on the restoration of proper energy flow.
5. Shamanic Healing
Inherent in ancient indigenous traditions, shamanic healing works with spirit guides, power animals, and nature. Techniques include traveling in sol retrieval, energy clearing, and non-ordinary realms to find north discovery or energetic infiltration.
Good for: deep soul-level treatment, ancestral treatment, spiritual development
How it works: A trained Shamanic practitioner guides you to reach treatment energy from soul areas through rituals and soul areas.
6. Breathwork
Breath is life. A conscious breathing technique can help release emotional interruptions, reach high stages of awareness, and reset the nervous system. Many people experience emotional catharsis or spiritual awakening through breath.
Good for: letting the stored feelings go, energetic the body, clarity
How it works: Through the directed rhythmic breathing, you activate the deep layers of the subconscious.
7. Energy Clearing Rituals
These include sage or Palo Santo, aura cleaning, and a salt bath. Such rituals are used to clean negative energy from the body, location, or objects.
Good for: protecting energy, cleaning toxic effects, increasing spiritual practice
How it works: You use holy herbs or equipment to purify the location or your aura.
How to Choose the Right Healing Path for You?
Choosing the right path is a sacred task of self-care and internal listening. Here are some suggestions to help guide your journey:
1. Start with your intuition
Note what you feel naturally. If you feel eager or relaxed by a certain practice, follow that curiosity.
2. Try a practice at a time
Do not overwhelm yourself. Try a modelity for a few weeks and see how it makes you feel emotionally, mentally, and physically.
3. Work with a reliable guide
Choose doctors who work with integrity, compassion, and proper training. Read the review, ask questions, and trust your tendency.
4. Give yourself time
Healing is not immediate. Be patient with yourself and be soft. Sometimes, the biggest changes are quietly over time.
Common Misunderstandings About Spiritual Healing
While searching for spiritual treatment, some misunderstandings are aware:
1. It is not about "fixing" you - you are not broken. Healing is about returning to the natural state of your balance and clarity.
2. It does not replace medical care - these practices are complementary, not optional. Always consult a doctor for medical issues.
3. You do not have to believe everything - be open but intelligent. What resonates and leaves the rest?
4. This is not a miracle of a time - spiritual treatment is a process, not a quick improvement. Like physical remedies, time, stability, and patience may seem to experience meaningful changes.
5. You should not be religious - spiritual treatment is not bound by any specific religion. It is about energy, intentions, and internal alignment. People of all beliefs - or no one - cannot benefit.
6. This is not just a "positive thinking" - while the mentality matters, spiritual treatment deepens only to thinking of happy thoughts. This involves working with energy, emotions, and consciousness to bring real internal treatment.
Final Thoughts: Your Journey Begins Now
Spiritual treatment is not about avoiding reality - it is about embracing your truth with grace, awareness, and power. It is about remembering that you are more than your stress, your story, or your wounds. You are energy. You are light. And you are capable of incredible changes.
In the Mystic Kentah, we respect the treatment path of every soul. Whether you are just starting or have been running on this road for years, we welcome you to discover the holy and intimate world of treatment practices.
Are you ready to start? Explore spiritual equipment, healing crystals, and our curated selections of directed energy sessions in the Mystic Kentah. Let us support you in your change of change and inner peace. "Healing is not a destination. This is a way to happen."

Oren Zarif Review and the Truth About Alternative Healing Treatments

In this Oren Zarif review, we provide valuable information about my approach, which focuses on the power of the subconscious mind and inner energy. As traditional treatments do not always offer lasting results, more individuals are turning to methods that support the body and mind together. Through years of experience, I have worked with people facing various physical and emotional challenges. This Oren Zarif review highlights how alternative healing can be a powerful option for those seeking natural and non-invasive ways to restore health.
What Are Alternative Healing Treatments
Alternative treatments are ways to care for the body and mind that do not follow regular medical paths. These methods come from old traditions, natural systems, and beliefs about the body’s energy.
Some popular alternative treatments include:
Acupuncture
Herbal medicine
Homeopathy
Reflexology
Meditation and deep breathing
Energy healing
These methods are not meant to replace your doctor, but many people use them together with standard care. The goal is to help the whole person, not just fix one problem.
Why Are People Choosing Alternative Treatments
More people are looking for gentle and natural ways to feel better. Here are some reasons why alternative healing is becoming more popular:
1. Fewer Side Effects
Most natural methods are soft on the body and do not cause strong side effects. Many people prefer this over harsh medicines or surgeries.
2. Whole Body Care
Alternative healing treats the full person. It looks at emotions, energy, lifestyle, and more. It is not just about the disease but also about your overall well-being.
3. Feeling in Control
Some patients feel lost in the world of hospitals and tests. Alternative healing gives them a way to take back control and feel more involved in their own care.
4. Personal Attention
Practitioners of alternative treatments usually spend more time with clients. This helps build trust and gives the person a chance to feel heard and understood.
What Happens in a Healing Session with Oren Zarif
People who visit Oren Zarif often describe their experience as calming and different from a regular doctor visit. The session may begin with a short talk where he listens to your health concerns. Then he works by focusing his mind to help your body begin to heal.
There is no physical contact, and the person just sits and relaxes. Some people say they feel warmth or a light feeling during the session. Others feel emotional release or a clear mind after it ends.
Many of the people who leave reviews say they feel lighter, more peaceful, or pain-free after meeting him. Some return for more sessions, while others report long-term results after just one visit.
Common Types of Alternative Treatments
Besides the method used by Oren Zarif, here are a few other well-known natural healing options:
Acupuncture
A traditional Chinese method using tiny needles to open energy paths. Often used for pain and stress relief.
Herbal Remedies
Using plants and natural ingredients to support healing. Herbs like ginger, chamomile, and turmeric are very popular.
Reflexology
This is a type of foot massage. Each part of the foot connects to another part of the body. Pressing the foot helps release tension and promote healing.
Meditation and Breathing
Simple and free practices that help reduce stress, improve sleep, and clear the mind.
Energy Healing
Like Oren Zarif’s method, this type of healing is about balancing the body’s natural energy. Reiki is another popular form of this kind of healing.
What Do People Say in Oren Zarif Reviews
Many reviews from Oren Zarif’s clients are full of kind words and positive stories. People talk about changes in their health that they could not get from traditional treatments. These stories include:
Relief from long-term back or neck pain
A feeling of calm and peace
Better focus and mental clarity
More energy during the day
Better sleep at night
These reviews show that even if the science is still catching up, the personal results speak for themselves. People feel better and that is what matters most.
Is Alternative Healing Safe
Yes in most cases alternative healing is safe when done by trained and caring practitioners. Still it is always a good idea to speak with your doctor before starting any new treatment.
Some tips to stay safe include:
Always ask about the background of your healer
Do not stop your current medical treatment without advice
Try one method at a time to see how your body reacts
Listen to your body and how you feel after each session
Final Thoughts
This Oren Zarif review and overview of alternative healing shows us one clear thing. People want better health and they are open to new ways of finding it. Whether it is energy healing herbal medicine or mindfulness the goal is the same. To live a healthy balanced and happy life.
Alternative healing does not promise magic but it offers hope. For many people that hope turns into real results. If you are feeling stuck or looking for something gentle and natural it may be worth exploring.
The power to heal often starts with belief and a new way of looking at health. And sometimes just taking that first step can bring real change.
