What is Postal Code in USA?
Postal codes or ZIP codes, are a series of numbers and letters that identify a particular postal address in a country. They allow mail to be sorted automatically and delivered quickly and accurately. The United States, being one of the top funding members of the Universal Postal Union (UPU), is at the forefront of developing new postal code systems to streamline global mail exchange and delivery processes.
In the United States, a ZIP code is a five-digit number that divides the country into regions or delivery areas. A ZIP+4 code, introduced in 1983, adds four more digits to the basic five-digit code to identify a geographic segment within the delivery area.
Tumblr media
While it may seem like a series of random numbers thrown together, each digit in the ZIP code conveys a different meaning. For example, the first digit of a ZIP code denotes which state the mail is to be sent to. The second digit indicates the region, while the third identifies the associated post office or delivery area for that region. The fourth and fifth digits identify the specific street address or postal box for that region.
While many people in the world use postal codes, not everyone knows what they are or how they work. This article will help explain what a ZIP code is and how it is used. It also includes information about the history and development of ZIP codes. The article concludes with a list of frequently asked questions and answers about ZIP codes.

Dick Simmons is such a character. One time he suspected his boss/millitary commander/adoptive dad liked a wrench slightly more than him, so he stole a tank and tried to blow up his own house.

This is the source El finds in the void and it's twofold. It's the father. In this case it's Neil but he's just a stand-in for Lonnie.
The other source is the Steel Works warehouse BRIMBORN but that's not how it is presented to us throughout season 3.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It reads more like BRIMBORN as a shadow covers up the B pretty consistently, making us unable to read it
Warning for discussions of CSA under the cut
Tumblr media
We also get the full address of the steelworks warehouse and it's
Brimborn Steelworks 6522 Cherry Oak Drive
This is how where the MF possessed Billy. Cherry Oak Drive
Lonnie also means oak tree
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Max also tells us Billys full address
Billy Hargrove 4819 Cherry Lane
Billy lives on Cherry Lane but he lost himself and got possessed by the father at Cherry Oak Drive. A lane to drive on...
Tumblr media
Source
Billy was a Cherry Lane at first until he got corrupted in the Cheery Oak Drive
Billy is short for William and a stand-in for Will
We also learn more about cherries and their availability
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hopper says there is no cherry in the 7-Eleven. Apparently they had only strawberry
Tumblr media
That's not entirely true tough as we see with Alexei here. In fact it seems like they have only cherry and cola. But Hopper still drove there even though it was way out of his way. So I'm sure he would have gotten cherry if it were there, right?
Well, maybe it's more like an either/or situation with the Seven and the Eleven in which one number is the cherry and the other is the strawberry . Maybe they are mutually exclusive
As we've already seen though, it's Will who is already associated with cherries via association of Billy which in turn can only mean one thing
Tumblr media
Eleven is the strawberry
But
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the end there is no difference. Cherry and strawberry taste the same. They are the same. Just sugar on ice
But what's a strawberry anyway?
Tumblr media
Source
First of all of this goes with the Will Byers has DID theory.
For the longest time I was convinced that Will created Eleven on the day he vanished in the woods but I don't think that's what has happened any longer. I think she was there long before. Ready to take over whenever Will needed her to use her superpowers to absorb what he couldn't face.
That's why Eleven is a strawberry. She was there ready to save Will whenever Lonnie sold off his son to buy dr*gs. It's why there is still a cola next the cherry in the 7-Eleven. Coca-Cola or just coke. Other sources also say that a Strawberry is a woman who willingly sells se*ual favors to buy dr*gs. (although willingly is hardly the word I would use here)
In the beginning of the first season El could barely speak and was more like a child who didn't understand anything. This was also done for her protection throughout the years I think. The less she understood what happened, the better it is for her (or so the reasoning goes)
But she still understood the most important part

i am thinking it's a sign that the freckles in our eyes are mirror images and when we kiss they're perfectly aligned and i have to speculate that god himself did make us into corresponding shapes like puzzle pieces from the clay and true, it may seem like a stretch but it's thoughts like this that catch my troubled head when you're away when i am missing you to death when you are out there on the road for several weeks at shows and when you scan the radio i hope this song will guide you home

just in case anyone missed this in the news or maybe not in the loop, Disney is currently refusing to meet with or acknowledge the newly formed animation production workers union that just voted to join IASTE and become an official part of TAG, the animators and animation artists guild
production workers across all studios are currently voting to be recognized for their hard work and invaluable skill at keeping these productions running, but studios are refusing to meet with them to let them negotiate deals or even exist
as someone who works in animation as a designer i know i wouldn't be able to do my job at all without any of my production workers. they are the incredibly hard working people who oversee pretty much everything in animation. they make sure everything is running on time, that schedules are being followed, they have to know pretty much every single word of the scripts and beats from the storyboards to make sure nothing is missed, and most importantly, they make sure artists are being taken care of and not overworked. they really are the unsung heroes of the animation world
production workers are also by far the most exploited workers in animation currently. they make about a fraction of what artists make for just as much work put in, and currently have no agreement for health coverage or other benefits that artists protected by the union are guaranteed
BUT! there is some good news. right now there's a petition on IATSE's website that has over 80,000 signatures currently addressed to disney leadership to do the right thing and meet with this new union and recognized their vote to form. it still needs roughly 21,000 signatures and only takes a minute to sign! anyone with a zip or postal code can sign, meaning both US and Canadian residents can sign and help this union get the deal it deserves!!

y didnt u just deliver the ps5 urself?????
1: You're not legally supposed to do that, technically. Even though my family usually does And
2: It was for our neighbour, who once spent an entire winter blowing their snow onto our shed, which ultimately caused it to literally collapse in on itself.
A PS5 is $645 CAD before tax. A shed is $4500 CAD before tax. I think we can just call it even, honestly.

chapter 1: the meeting
pro!ushijima, who is still a little lost on social clues and overall relationships, gets dragged by his team to a bar after a match. he clearly don't want to be there as he's alone with his drink one his teammate ordered for him.
he is about to leave the bar when you approach him. you two have been making eye contact for a whole hour until you decide it is enough.
you introduce yourself with a smile and ready to ask for his number. ushijima, surprising himself and everyone around him, fills the contact form in your phone and, after a while, gives your phone back. you can't believe your luck. the most handsome, and intimidating, man you have ever seen in your life has his cheeks blushed.
you blink twice and you look down at your phone. and then you laugh.
he has filled everything. not just his phone number and complete name, but his email, birthday, postal code and an emergency number under the name of someone called satori tendou.
"why are you laughing?"
his voice is deep. feels deeper as you are closer now. a shiver runs down your spine. oh lord, he's hot, really hot.
but he is frowning, clearly not understanding what's so funny.
"nothing," you smile, "you're just too cute."

What is Postal Code For Texas?
If you are wondering what is postal code for texas, then you have come to the right place. This article contains a list of 2655 ZIP Codes of Texas state, along with their counties and cities. You can browse the detailed information about each location by clicking on the title of the list. The map also displays the economic well-being of each region, as indicated by the color of each ZIP Code area. In Harris County alone, 45 ZIP codes are economically distressed -- twice as many as the number of mid-tier and comfortable ZIP codes. The results of the national Distressed Communities Index show that, more than ever, place matters.

I don’t think the way you handle people stealing formula is bad at all, especially in BC where a lot of the country’s best social programs are.
I miss living there. Now I live in Newfoundland in a small, broke town that only has one postal code, and COL is still ass.
😔 RIP
BC is pretty great for outreach, but in some ways I really miss super-tiny-town Midwest America- it has it’s downsides, sure, but the places I stayed actually knew their homeless folks by name, and had them over for dinner, and made an effort to take care of each other.
yeah there was a lot of catty, closed-minded shit here and there, but people still looked out for each other, you know? Say what they might, they wouldn’t let you go hungry.
it seems like in these bigger cities, there are SO MANY people struggling that nobody has the energy, you know? Like why care about any single person if you can’t care for EVERYONE type mindset

are the other dudes in the same universe isaac n gerard are?
I mean... Yes and no. Let me explain a little ehem.
Tumblr media
Postal dude 3 does exist, his name's Evan, he doesn't exist as a physical human being as he's one of Gerard's alters (DID), he's one of his main alters (he also has "the other dude" from BD as his alter), most of his switches are involuntary and can't control this even tho he tries. He thought he got rid of him but no, just like the other dude said, he will always be there. About his conduct and all about how Gerard reacts to Evan its something you can see in Paradise lost.
Tumblr media
It's pretty weird hearing him talk like him and even use the same words he would use but ... At least Evan's not that harmful-
Tumblr media
Isaac also has alters, the one he hates the most and is also very related to his hallucinations is Demon. He made his first appearance when trying to confront his undiagnosed schizophrenia and extreme loneliness, he needed to turn off his feelings and empathy to not go insane cuz nobody was there for him, but unfortunately this personality was kept in the back of his head, mostly because of his complex trauma of childhood and loneliness. It makes appearances in the worst times of his life, mostly in violent scenerios.
Tumblr media
And about postal dude 4... He's just Gerard in a different timeline and in the future. Nothing more to add other than that. (His future changed when he appeared in 97's universe, someday ill explain how it happened)
Tumblr media
BONUS!!!! Bitch design in 97, this is my au i can do what i want
Her name's Hannah and even tho she's pretty different than Bitch in 2003 postal 2, she's still pretty toxic, She's inspired by the girl on one of the "What went wrong" postal 97 posters and her character is inspired by Jake's girlfriend in the Jacob's Ladder (which is a movie that's really Postal 97 coded). She's dating Isaac lol what an idiot he's an homosexual in the closet
Remember asks and requests are opened

who or what gives voice to those demon children keeping time in Tesla 2 4 6 8? what in the world are they chanting (other than the titular numerals)? the song fascinates me endlessly and I need to know what kind of spell I'm under.
JF: Maybe I'm spoiling it, but I am happy to talk about some of my favorite stuff.
it's from a remarkable record made called "1,2,3 and A Zing Zing Zing" recorded by Tony Schwartz in the early 50s. Schwartz was a unique figure in the world of sound. He made a clutch of albums for Folkways that were... kind of uncategorizable... possibly best described as cultural anthropology?
While the idea of "song catchers" like Alan Lomax might be better understood--where a fellow rolls into town and captures people playing songs on a tape recorder set up in a hotel room--Schwartz' technique was to move more stealthy through the world, observing but not interacting directly with his subjects. Maybe a bit like the manner that the Maysles Brothers revolutionize documentary film by building a fully portable camera and sound rig that could move in and out of small rooms and consequently not make people feel utterly self concious, Schwartz walked around New York City with some emerging recording technologies (notably headphones and a "portable" reel to reel tape recorder strapped to his chest with a hand held microphone and made field recordings capturing conversations and sounds sometimes at quite a distance. (In the beginning his rig was as bulky as a backpack, but I believe it got smaller over that decade and his set up might have even ended up more like spy-ware)
"1,2,3" is all kids talking and singing, playing games and reciting rhymes--many that would be familiar to all of us but in a lot of ways the texts are un-evolved compared to now. All the kids have strong New York accents but they are also KIDS so they have a curious kind of marble-mouth talking. (And on a technical note there is a curious tunnel-like reverberation across all the recordings-maybe it was imposed after to make the recordings sound less raw, or maybe it was just recorded in a very echo-y place? But the effect makes everything sound HAUNTED which is a big part of the Tesla remix sound for sure)
youtube
The other long playing album I have of his is "The World from My Mailbox" which compiled field recordings from around the world. The story I've heard is he actually got his address included in early portable tape recorders (maybe Ampegs or Wolensaks? I don't know but in the early "hi-fi" 50s these smaller-than-a-recording-studio recorders were kind of a fad piece of consumer electronics) In this piece of paper that came with your recorder it invited owners to join his "tape club" and exchange tapes with him. Folks would send him recordings unique to their place in the world, so the album has sounds of carousels and parades, dogs howling and street singing and everything you could imagine from around the globe. It's kind of nuts. (I really don't recall 100% but I at least auditioned the sound of the auctioneer from "Mailbox" in the middle of The Guitar but I might have used the auctioneer from the Elektra Sound Effects album made by Elektra's original president Jac Holzman who is another big figure in field recording. I was given THAT whole multi-disc library on CD right before we started Apollo 18 and there are dozens of textures from that set on that album.)
But the wildest part of the Tony Schwartz story I never heard until there was an NPR piece about him about ten years ago, and that was he was agoraphobic--which is to say he didn't leave the perimeter of his NYC postal code. (!?!) One of his earlier records I believe was called "New York 19" (which was kind of the predecessor of zip codes) and was field recordings made entirely within the area he restricted his movements to. I've search for this album casually for many years but never seen it in the wild. But it's fascinating to think someone who revealed so much about the real world, and the whole wide world for that matter, wouldn't travel beyond a series of blocks in New York.

"I'm calling because i ordered a long time ago and my stuff hasn't arrived."
"Looks like we cancelled and refunded the order a month ago because we couldn't confirm your shipping address, the zip code was invalid."
"No it wasn't!"
"The zip code listed only has four digits, a US postal code is five digits."
"Well why didn't you contact me about it?"
"I can see in the system we attempted to contact you, your phone number was also invalid and you didn't respond to our emails."
"No one attempted to contact me!"
"I can see we made seven attempts by email to confirm the address before cancelling, it's possible our emails were filtered as spam if you have ever flagged one of our marketing emails as spam, but they were sent and it's the only contact method we had available to us."
"No one called me!"
"We tried, unfortunately the phone number on the order was invalid, I can see that it does not match the number you are calling from."
"Someone should have contacted me before you just cancelled the order!!"
If your mailing address and phone number are wrong and you didn't get/didn't read the seven emails we sent what the heck else should we have tried?? Carrier pigeon? We're not keeping an order we can't ship sitting around forever just in case you someday decide to respond to us.

RE: Writing to Scottish Representatives about Supreme Court Decision Hi, sorry to write out of the blue, I just saw your reply saying you used those letter templates despite living in the US. I also have a UK citizenship while abroad...but those websites linked in those posts seem to require me to put a location to continue...Does putting any Scottish/my family's postal code work? I mean, since it's supposed to help me email all of the Scottish MSPs anyway?
Thank you
That’s what I do because it’s still my place or residence when I am in the UK and it’s where my mail over there goes to.
