Well, maybe it's more like an either/or situation with the Seven and the Eleven in which one number is the cherry and the other is the strawberry . Maybe they are mutually exclusive

As we've already seen though, it's Will who is already associated with cherries via association of Billy which in turn can only mean one thing

Eleven is the strawberry

In the end there is no difference. Cherry and strawberry taste the same. They are the same. Just sugar on ice

First of all of this goes with the Will Byers has DID theory.

For the longest time I was convinced that Will created Eleven on the day he vanished in the woods but I don't think that's what has happened any longer. I think she was there long before. Ready to take over whenever Will needed her to use her superpowers to absorb what he couldn't face.

That's why Eleven is a strawberry. She was there ready to save Will whenever Lonnie sold off his son to buy dr*gs. It's why there is still a cola next the cherry in the 7-Eleven. Coca-Cola or just coke. Other sources also say that a Strawberry is a woman who willingly sells se*ual favors to buy dr*gs. (although willingly is hardly the word I would use here)

In the beginning of the first season El could barely speak and was more like a child who didn't understand anything. This was also done for her protection throughout the years I think. The less she understood what happened, the better it is for her (or so the reasoning goes)

But she still understood the most important part

I'm definitely just overanalyzing anything at this point but. I was watching Car Trek and I find it really interesting how you can possibly read this scene as showing off how much Ray tended to prioritize Henry over everyone else in the show like. AM I CRAZY.

obviously the joke here is that Ray wants to drive even if it's Schwaz van, and that he likes being in charge of things that aren't even his job to do, that's literally the whole gag. it's funny, we all laughed WOO... butttt, again, Henry's presence is what's throwing me off. Even before Ray forced Schwaz out of the drivers seat, Henry already called shot gun. Probably because Charlotte and Jasper were probably gonna stay in the back, so might as well. Whatever, normal. But then Ray starts telling Schwaz to gtfo, and what really catches my attention is the fact that he never really involves Henry in the whole thing?

Obviously, he's not going to tell Henry to go back too, it's Henry (and that pretty much is my whole point LMFAO). He doesn't tell Schwaz to just take the passenger seat. No, he tells him to go to the back, and even if it's Charlotte's birthday he wasn't giving her any shotgun privileges either. Henry just stays and no one's arguing because Ray's probably also gonna fight for him to stay 😭

I wasn't going to say much personally on Caramel, beyond what I had posted in the immediate reaction. But. Well.

I keep seeing posts around the internet talking about people talking about cancelling their tickets/getting rid of their merch, though I haven't seen any of the posts where people are saying that directly.

But, like. Dropping someone and not associating with them when they've set up a boundary is, uh. Not the move. If someone comes to you and says "You hurt me, here's my boundary" responding with "Then I'll never interact with you again" is A Bad Move. From personal experience, it really fucking sucks.

Take a breath, take a break, examine your behaviors without demonizing yourself. This is a piece of art, about intense emotions. Its fine to feel intensely about it. But please take a moment to breath.

Molly's Rougarou Research Rodent Skull

While working on a different (pair of) post(s), I was gathering some screenshots I didn't have yet, and one of them* inspired me to dig further into exactly what type of rodent skull might've been sketched on Molly's research page for the Rougarou (as I initially noted in my last reblog of this discussion, and how the silhouette of the skull looks somewhat similar to the Rougarou's curious beak and teeth arrangement). *(In addition to the windowsill figurines, Mrs. Pearle has a set of five cross stitches on her walls that serve as nods to each of the mythical creatures! Including a mermaid I've not seen elsewhere and a white rabbit that, by process of elimination, should be for the Rougarou...because she doesn't have any other owl wall-hangings or bonus figurines that I could see. Though I suppose she is missing a Benjy-related figurine, so maybe each set only has four nods, and the bonus rabbit is just because it's cute...)

Fortunately, the artbook has the Rougarou research page in it (plus a few others, but not all, alas). So I have a nice clean reference image for comparison:

As for what the skull might be...rat/mice skulls are too flat across the top. Rabbits have too big an anchor point on the back of their lower jaws for biting muscles. And most squirrels seem to have too smooth of an arch along the top of their skulls...but flying squirrels (and a couple others) seem to have the slight brow ridge, the back of their lower jaw comes to a similar short point, and the nasal bone comes far enough forward, relative to Molly's sketch. So altogether, unless there's another rodent I wasn't able to find that's even closer, flying squirrel seems to be a decent match! (Plus there's the "flying"/gliding parallel, which is neat.)

It also occurred to me that the pile of bones sketched on the bottom wouldn't just be a coincidental pile that she'd have been able to observe from her lair with giant binoculars or a telescope...the fuzz around the edges makes it seem like an owl pellet that's been dissected. So, while she may or may not have lingered (for music and/or to listen to Jolene vent about struggling to help foster kids), I believe she did indeed go down to the sawmill at some point to take a rougarou pellet for study.

(Flying squirrel fun fact that I spotted while skimming wikipedia: they fluoresce under UV light, while normal squirrels do not. I found this doubly delightful since it reminded me that some birds also have feathers that fluoresce, with owls having it occur on their wings. So one could assume that a rougarou might, as well...)

we saw an enormous giant water bug in the parking lot tonight while walking the dogs and i didnt know you could find them Here much less so far away from any facking water now im terrified.
