everything is hand sewn and patterned. Painted by hand, airbrush and spray paint by me. All gems and resin work applied by hand by me.

I always wanted a project to reuse my old wedding dress, and this was the perfect fit.

Reshaping it, sewing it anew and covering up the past with sparkles, lots of painting and topping it all off with a crown, was definetly the fix it needed!

A papercraft commission of Zelda from Breath of the Wild/Age of Calamity, featured here with the Bow of Light! I had enormous fun cutting out both her swirling hair and the swirling shapes of the bow's decoration - extra-detailed shapes like that take a long time, but the end result is very satisfying. ^_^ And, of course, I'm always excited to make Legend of Zelda art!

Started playing Breath of the Wild again recently, and it remains one of my top 3 favorite Zelda games for sure

But one of the best things about playing it again was my husband's reaction. He's the biggest LOZ nerd I know, and I know a lot of nerds.

I don't even remember exactly what I was doing in-game, but it was something involving the bow and arrow, which I am pretty good with, when Jon exclaimed

"What!? How did you get so good at Zelda!??!"

Which is just. The highest compliment ever

It was soured soon after when I ran out of stamina while gliding, landed in water and promptly drowned

I sort of feel like once walkthrough websites made the transition to being wikis they all went downhill. like they got rid of all their information that's actually clear and concise and easy to find, and now everything links to incomplete wiki articles and it's a struggle to find proper specific guides. maybe I'm just having a very specific experience with zelda

It is so weird that Link has two iconic swords, two iconic shields, two iconic outfits, several iconic miscellaneous tools, and ZERO iconic bows. It is more immediately recognizable to show a picture of a hookshot/clawshot (any design) than it is to show literally any of Link's bows throughout the series. The closest is the Bow of Light, but that's more associated with Zelda than Link.

VERY excited to announce that I found a dog toy for Link that looks similar to the Crissword from the Legend of Zelda cartoon. Link was hesitant to take the sword, but after hearing about how dangerous it would be to go alone, he accepted his fate. It will be ripped to shreds in about ten minutes.

maybe jumping immediately from botw to totk wasn't a fantastic idea

because now im once again filled with immense stress and anxiety and my inventory is too small and i have NO hearts and NO stamina and god damn it new monsters and i fell into the abyss and almost shit my pants the blood moon is somehow more anxiety inducing than before (i mean its not SS silent realm but still)

god dammit i should have given myself a week off to play something else
