Minimal robron btw - just Aaron rejecting rob at the beginning 🥲 and Robert getting arrested by PC Swirling of all people!

+ a short prison phone call scene with Vic. Tbf this is exactly what I was expecting but ‘late summer’ better hurry tf up!

Lots of ‘happy’ Aaron/John content for me to skip. But I did watch Mack arrive and remembered why I liked him so much! I need a Robert/mack team up against John pls.

Also throwaway line from Ross asking if Robert mentioned Seb makes me very 👀.

Hopeful that Seb will be back at some point with Robert which i’m sure will cause some drama with Ross. I always enjoyed a bit of Robert vs Ross.

Also not lost on me how insane it feels to be speculating about Robert’s ✨future✨ interactions and stories 🥹. What a week.

Unorganized thougnts about the au before I go to sleep :P

- Ivan is friends with Aaron since hes one of the few friendly monsters. By investigating after some years he conected the dots about Jaune and Ross being his missing wife and son but Ivan doesnt know if he sould tell him he encountered them because knowing in what state they are now could only hurt Aaron more.

- Teresa actualy lived in the town before the curse! She went out to study at a foreign university and came back at the WORST time posible.

- Gregor absolutely hates Maurice for obious reasons and has him banned from the church, in fact, Maurice manages to have beef with everyone in town. Once he found Evermore petrified and drew a dick on his face with a permanent marker. Hes now also banned from the main town (thats a fancy way of saying Evermore wants his ass dead).

- Robert can spit fire, Ross can spit poison and Roy, uhhhh. He cant spit anything cool sadly.

- Radford sometimes does "musical episodes" in Ivan and Maurice's dreams that Maurice loves. Ivan not so much

Awww!! Yeah, that's a tough question: do you let him search indefinitely and keep his hope, or do you dash it but he'll be able to at least come to terms with it?

Oooo!! Teresa living in the town originally is SO cool - she's the only one that has perfect memory of how it was before and it messes her up so bad that this happened while she was gone. I wonder if she has like, a weird form of survivor's guilt? Like she escaped being turned into a monster by complete chance and even terrified and traumatized she can't help but feel bad because she's still human

Djgjsekjdfgd Maurice pls. I wouldn't expect anything less from a version of Moloch tbh. Evermore can't even try to get it off his face because he can't fucking look at his face

What makes Robert being back even funnier and amazing to me is that Danny wanted Ryan back 😂😂 like he texted every once in a while until he got his wish to get his husband back lol the fact that Aaron was about to get married to someone else didnt phase him he was like nah bring Robert back pls

lmao yeah danny has been waiting for this for YEARS 😭😭😭 so so happy for him finally getting his wish skahhskakda. and you can see how much he's enjoying working with ryan again.

I've finally written for the first time in months! I feel inspired and hopeful that I can share a story after so many months of feeling uninspired and burnt out. I want to share what I've written so far and welcome any feedback!

It's a little lengthy so I'll put it under a cut ☺

Aaron calls on an inconspicuous Wednesday afternoon. 

Robert had missed the call because he’d been in meetings all afternoon with clients. When he’s back in his hotel room and sees the missed call, his heart momentarily stops. Anxiety and consternation fills his veins at the sight - a feeling he hasn’t felt in years, when he still depended on the bottle to get him through the days. Why was Aaron calling him?

He rubs the screen of his phone absentmindedly as he runs through the possible reasons Aaron could be calling after all these years. But as he’s contemplating the why’s, the phone abruptly starts to ring. It’s Aaron again. The reality of seeing the phone ring with a very old picture of Aaron on his screen startles Robert enough to drop his phone instead of answering.

By the time he picks the phone back up, he’s missed Aaron’s second call, and Robert is not above admitting the relief he feels. But the relief is short lived when a text comes in seconds later. 

Robert, its Aaron. Pls call. Its important.

It’s important. What could be important between them after years of silence? The curiosity of it starts to outweigh the trepidation, and so Robert presses the call button, and brings a shaky hand up to his ear. The phone only rings twice before Aaron’s voice abruptly ends the ringing, “Robert.”

“Hiya, sorry about earlier, I was-”

“Mum and Paddy are dead,” Aaron interrupts the flimsy lie that was on Robert’s lips. Aaron’s announcement stuns Robert into silence. Of all the things Aaron could have called about, this never crossed Robert’s mind. He thinks of the last time he saw Chas - in a hospital bed as she glowered down at him. 

You’ll ruin him just like you’ve ruined yourself

“Robert?” comes Aaron’s voice, noticeably watery now that Robert can contextualize Aaron’s voice.

“Sorry…I mean, Aaron. I’m so sorry. What happened?” Robert winces at the words. They don’t feel nearly enough.

“Car accident. They were driving from Leeds back home. It was rainy and dark, and-” Aaron cuts off, but Robert can guess what happened next. The thought of Chas and Paddy dying so anticlimactically disturbs Robert. He always thought they were so boring and they’d live well into their old age with a brood of grandchildren.

“What about Eve?” The thought of hypothetical grandchildren reminds Robert of their own very real daughter.

“She’s here. I’m at the pub. I was babysitting when I got the call.”

“Aaron, I’m so sorry.” Robert feels like a broken record, but what else could he say?

“I-I just needed to tell ya. I know we haven’t spoken in a while, but Vic talks about you all the time. And I just…wanted you to know.”

Aaron’s words, for the first time since they’ve spoken, brings the telltale prickle to Robert’s eyes. The last time they weathered a hardship together, they’d been engaged and in love. Now it’s been three years since they last had spoken, and Aaron is the bigger person to call Robert. He’s always been too good for Robert. 

“I’m in London,” Robert says, but before Aaron can respond to the non sequitur, he continues, “but only for a work trip. I can come to Emmerdale…if you want me to be there for you. And Eve, of course.”

You’ll ruin him just like you’ve ruined yourself

There’s a pregnant pause, before Aaron says something. “I’d really like that,” he whispers, and the pesky tears in Robert’s eyes fall down his cheeks. 

“I can be there by tomorrow morning,” Robert promises, mentally juggling all the meetings he will have to reschedule. 

“Okay.”

“Aaron?” Robert holds his breath, knowing the conversation is over, but desperate to continue to hear Aaron’s voice. “Despite the terrible circumstances, it’s good to hear your voice.”

There is a long pause that makes Robert want to snatch the words back and to apologize for the crassness of his statement. But just when Robert is going to say something, Aaron quietly says, “Me too.”

Any sort of trepidation that Robert had been feeling slowly evaporates and they say their quiet good-byes shortly afterwards. Robert pulls the phone away from his ear and looks at the photo of Aaron trying to cover his face because he was tired of Robert taking photos. It was the day they had gotten engaged, and despite Aaron trying to shield his face, there was a smile on his face. 

That photo was taken only three months before Robert walked away from Aaron for good. He idly wonders if Aaron has smiled like that since. 

Robert slumps in the chair he’s sitting, and for the first time in years, he wants a drink.

ok, if we can’t have robert back anytime soon, here’s what i want in the meantime:

aaron’s about to go on date attempt number 2984 with kayak boy, a proper one in town this time. all dressed up, nice restaurant, the works. he doesn’t really want to, he’s not feeling it, but chaddy and liv have been pushing him to make more of an effort bc “b*n is a nice guy and robert’s gone he’s not coming back aaron”

he parks the car outside the restaurant and sits for a moment, miserable and not wanting to go through with it. but he remembers the way liv had a go at him for backing out last time, and he feels like he can’t disappoint her again, he doesn’t have a choice now. even if it does feel like a big mistake.

he sighs, grabs his wallet and phone, and is just about to open the door and step out of the car when BAM! 

a hooded adam barton has slammed both hands on the bonnet and is glaring at him through the window. all he says is:

‘you’ve gotta be KIDDING ME.”

A: Of the fanfic you’ve written, which is your favorite and why?

this is super super hard, i have so many so i’ll just say one which i think has lots of my favourite stuff in it: if our stars would meet, it just felt really warm, and soft, and had enemies to lovers, fake dating and had a kid as well which is all the stuff i love!

N: Any fic ideas brewing that you’d care to share?

hmm there’s always stuff floating around lol but i have had this idea for a while. it’s based around the film ‘the gift’, i’m not sure if you have heard of it but as soon as they were going to introduce ben i was like hmmm this could work. it’s basically about a happy couple trying for a baby who stumble across the husband’s old friend from school. the old friend starts hanging around them a lot and starts doing weird stuff. so i was thinking of having aaron obviously fitting in nicely and having him sort of try to downplay how horrible he was to the guy back at school until things start getting even scarier. so i thought about having like lots of the surrogacy stuff keep going wrong (natalie’s car breaking down, them missing appointments) and then it leading up to more serious bumps in their relationship (like the old friend makes it seem like aaron is cheating on robert and stuff) so it’s ... just very angsty and stuff until it’s revealed that the old friend is trying to get his own back and ruin aaron’s life. yk ... just light stuff lol

R: Which writers (fanfic or otherwise) do you consider the biggest influence on you and your writing?

ohhhh so many writers, i came into the fandom bursting with ideas and just being so scared about messing anything up so i turned to writers for guidance all the time. i remember reading @strongboyfriends fic: every no turns into maybe and just being like in awe of how you could take canon and create this amazing other world, it was just insane to me

@sugdensquad was just also such a huge influence and genuinely changed the way i wrote and the style of it all mainly because of how detailed and heartfelt their writing was, and still is! 

i still get inspired now from reading all the fic i do lol. i just re-read @some-mad-lunge‘s incredible detective work and it just made me feel so much and just being able to want to replicate that feeling is something that really gets stuck in my head. the same goes for @starwitness42 who just makes you feel so much, in so so much detail and nuance. just being able to have so many writers, yourself included my love, who are just so capable of making you think about the fic so long afterwards just constantly makes me want to achieve the same sort of writing!

T: Any fanfic tropes you can’t stand?

not many! i’m not a fan of amnesia fics that much mainly because of all the sort of storytelling/explaining that has to go with it. i remember starting one and just giving up because of all the history there lol. i’m not a great fan of like gender bend stuff or teenage romance fics either!

Y: What are your thoughts on your personal satisfaction with something you’ve written vs. the popularity of your stories?  Do you tend to be most satisfied with your most popular stories?  

no not at all! i tend to appreciate my fics well after they are dead and buried. sometimes i go through all fics and i’m surprised some have fewer kudos/comments than others but it never really relates to how much i like it. i feel like the fics that do not get a lot of attention or love are almost just seen as like little hidden gems rather than outright awful! and fics which people tend to still comment on i’m like ... no ... i hate it forget it pls!

The first time it happens is a complete accident.

Robert had whisked Aaron away to some fancy hotel for the night, desperate to get him on his own. Only, it didn’t exactly go to plan.

Robert, himself, was just toying on this side of tipsy. It’s not that he hadn’t enjoyed the champagne, quite the opposite actually, but he’d wanted to keep at least half an eye on Aaron. In case Robert needed to - you know - convince Aaron that swinging from the chandeliers was not a good idea. Or something.

They were making their way towards the lifts, slowly, when Aaron softened under Robert’s hold. “Thank you,” He said, looping his arms around Robert’s neck as they stood at the lift entrance, waiting for the obnoxious ping to alter them of its arrival. 

“What for? Helping you discover your taste for the expensive stuff?”

“No! It tastes of piss anyway,” Aaron grinned. “I meant thank you for this, tonight. I think we needed some time alone, to just - well - just be us.”

“Yeah. It’s been the best.” Robert replied honestly. Maybe too honestly. “Now let’s get you to bed - you lightweight!” 

They step - stumble - into the lift and Aaron is on Robert before the doors have even closed. Hands roaming in places they shouldn’t be able to find so easily. “Now I do like the sound of that,” Aaron smirked, an attempt at a sultry smile covering his face. And Robert would be a liar if he said it didn’t make his knees weak. 

“To sleep!” He reminded, “Idiot.”

“Spoilsports.” Aaron murmured, breath ghosting over Robert’s jawline. Robert clung to Aaron’s waist as he lost himself in the moment, eyes fluttering shut against his will.

Robert licks his lips, pouting them slightly for what he knows is coming next. They’ve done these hundreds of times, him and Aaron, this push and pull. It’s all part of the thrill. He feels Aaron’s lips within seconds, soft and addictive.

Only, he doesn’t find them where he’s expecting them.

Author's Note: Don’t tell my other wip fics about this one. I just… couldn’t get it out of my head. It’s been a long time since I’ve written smut so, please be gentle with me. Also, I obviously had to change how the lodge scene went for this work. ;) At the beginning of this, Aaron has yet to be told by Paddy what Robert tried to do to him. “It’s only for a few days,” Robert tells Chrissie as he packs up a duffle bag full of clothes. He isn’t sure if he’ll ever get comfortable with it. “It’s unlikely.” Robert resists the urge to sigh himself when he hears Chrissie do one. “Look, when I get back, we can book a weekend retreat. Make it up for missing my heat.”

“Hmm,” she pulls him in again. “It won’t be as fun as sharing a heat with you but Paris or Barcelona sounds fun.”

Robert plasters on his best, charming smile and kisses her. “If that’s what you want.” He kisses her one last time and that seems to satisfy her. Chrissie leaves him alone after that, allowing him to pack in peace. He smiles when he receives a text from Aaron a few minutes later, stating that he’ll see him there. Double checking that he has the birth control pills snugly in his pocket, Robert drives off, feeling almost giddy about meeting the other alpha.

When he gets to the lodge, Aaron is waiting for him outside, drinking a beer. They banter a little about Robert being late but soon enter the building, Robert looking around. It’s small and not something he would normally choose to spend a heat in but it’s cozy and will have to do. “You know what? I like it,” he comments, heading straight to the bedroom. With a deep breath, Robert moves on, facing Aaron and stepping up to him. He pulls out the birth control pills. “These are birth control pills. I haven’t taken one yet so you need to make sure I do. I’ll need to take one every day I’m in heat. I’ll be too out of it to remember myself. This is very important, Aaron.” Aaron nods and reaches for them, taking the packet from Robert’s hands and inspecting it. “Since you’re new to this, I’m going to explain a little bit of what’s going to happen. When omegas are about to go into heat, they start nesting.”

“Nesting?”

Robert nods and walks away, looking the room over. He doesn’t have much time before he starts his heat, so he’s going to have to multitask. “Nesting is when an omega gathers things around them that make them feel safe. Usually it involves things that have their alpha’s scent but if you don’t have an alpha, then it can be anything really.”

“Did you bring something of Chrissie’s then?” Aaron asks, taking a step closer.

Robert tsks, straightening from where he was bent over and smoothing out the duvet. “No.” Robert stares at him, waiting for things to click but when they don’t, he smirks in amusement. “You are completely clueless when it comes to these things.” He laughs and ignores Aaron’s annoyed face. “Since I’m sharing my heat with you, it would be dangerous to bring something with Chrissie’s scent. It could go one of two ways: you destroy whatever it was or you hunt her down and kill her.” He sees Aaron gulp. “Omegas aren’t the only ones who get a little out of it when it comes to a heat.”

Aaron squirms again. He’s clutching onto the little packet of birth control pills as if his life depends on it. “Is that why you don’t smell like her right now?”

He nods. “I made sure to spray myself with a scent dampener. I don’t need you to go off all crazy.” He picks up a lamp off the nightstand. “Now I won’t be able to properly nest but I’ll make do. This is the ugliest lamp I have ever seen. Here,” he holds it out to Aaron. “Get rid of it, would you?”

Aaron takes the lamp and leaves the room. He doesn’t return for a while and Robert starts to wonder what is taking so long. Maybe Aaron is having a little mini freak out. Robert decides to leave him to it. He’s got more important things to worry about. After he digs through the closet and takes out every single sheet and pillow that is there, dumping the contents onto the bed, he looks around the room. Something seems missing. “Aaron!” he calls. It doesn’t take Aaron long to reenter the room. “Where’s that lamp?”

Aaron gestures with his head. “It’s in the other room.”

“Isn’t it?” Aaron asks, spinning to face him. There are definite tears in his eyes and Robert has to resist the urge to go up to him and wipe them away. “How could you?” He pushes past Robert, bumping into his shoulder on his way, and goes back into the bedroom.

Robert follows him, feeling the panic start to settle in his chest. “What are you doing?” he asks as he watches Aaron packing his clothes into the duffle bag he brought.

“Without you here, I could wander off,” Robert explains desperately. “If I pass any alphas that are out there… they won’t be able to stop themselves, Aaron.”

Something in Aaron’s eyes spark and Robert watches as the alpha bites his bottom lip before shoving his duffle bag towards Paddy. He then walks out of the room and returns with something bunched up in his hand. “Come with me.”

Robert, confused, follows him. They stop in front of a radiator and Aaron grabs one of his wrists. “What are you doing?” Aaron ties a piece of fabric around his wrist and then loops it around the radiator, tying the other end around his other wrist. “You’re tying me up?” Aaron says nothing and walks away, leaving Robert to pull at them. “You can’t leave me like this, Aaron!” Aaron doesn’t return. “Aaron, please!” He flinches when he hears the front door slam shut.

“Aaron!” Robert’s breathing is coming in ragged gulps. Aaron doesn’t understand the impact, the panic, that an alpha leaving an omega in heat can cause. “Aaron!” He pulls at his bindings again. He frantically pulls and pulls and pulls until he knows there is going to be bruising. “Aaron!” Robert notes how scared his own voice sounds, how shaky it is, but ignores the fact for the sake of trying to escape. He doesn’t know how, but eventually the knot on one of his wrists loosens and with one last tug, he breaks free from the binding, falling onto his arse.

By now, he’s already in the haze of a panicked heat, not being able to see straight at all. He groans in pain as a particularly painful cramp squeezes at his insides and he struggles to stand. Stumbling, he makes his way to the front door and leaves the lodge, futilely looking for Aaron. He’s panting and sweating heavily, slick running down the inside of his thighs mixed with Aaron’s cum. He needs someone, anyone, to help him and when he trips, falling to the ground, he rolls over onto his side and groans, clutching onto his painful stomach.

The haze overtakes him, blurring whatever comes next, and when it dissipates, he’s lying on the ground still, sweaty and cold. Robert sits up, glad to see he didn’t wander too far from the lodge and he can only smell Aaron on himself, which means he didn’t encounter any other alphas. He carefully gets up off the ground, brushing off the dead leaves from his body and makes his way back to the lodge.

It’s not until he’s back in the building that the panic settles in his gut again. Knowing he has to get home as soon as possible to try and make everything right, Robert quickly takes a shower and then starts packing everything up. Once everything is away in his duffel, he grabs the little packet of birth control off the nightstand where Aaron left it and shoves it into his jean’s pocket, not paying attention to the fact that only one of the pills is missing.

AARON: *Just woken up Face* *artfully touselled curls* *Yawns* I’ve had such a good rest and a nice plot free birthday off screen but now I can’t wait to get to the Pl- Robert?! What are you doing up already?

ROBERT: I know Azza, I don’t get it either. Then again, no one can explain to me why and how I supposedly attacked Billy in the first place. It’s really not my style.

AARON: You’re telling me. You didn’t even have bruised knuckles. I always have bruised knuckles when I beat someone up. I’m practically the expert.

ROBERT: *Puts arm around Aaron* Well at least I didn’t go to prison. If I had, something awful probably would have happened three weeks in and then I wouldn’t get any screen time until I got out of prison.

AARON: *Shudders through war flashbacks* Don’t remind me. I just really miss having a life, Robbo...Robble. I miss...work.

ROBERT: Work? You sure you’re okay? You’re not coming down with something are you? Maybe we could have a health scare plot?! You’d be up for that right?

AARON: Eh, maybe. As long as I’m guaranteed to come through it. Or maybe I could go back to work and hire someone new. I mean I don’t even know if Ellis works there anymore. We’ve never even had a scene there together.

ROBERT: Apparently he thinks you’re a good boss. And he thinks I look really good.

AARON: *Jealous Face* remember when I got to stare at you at work? But if I hired someone new, maybe they could be a stalker!

ROBERT: Ooh! I bet that would give us screen time!

AARON: Yeah, that’d be nice. Let’s use our boring off screen time to go see if we can find any photos of you or our wedding to put up in the flat.

i'm not trying to be fun sponge but its just weird for me when people try to attribute words and feelings to a character when that's not the case. from reading some posts you'd think that was a scene where aaron was worried about robert but it wasn't. it was a scene where he was justifiably annoyed about robert basically ruining people's livelihoods and scheming when they'd just had an argument two days ago where he'd asked robert to stop said scheming

robert obviously immediately spots him and is like why are you throwing all of the surrogacy stuff away? and he sounds sad and concerned

aaron, having thrown that shit in the bin, responds with a still dramatic because what’s the point? we could never afford it and now we never will be able to

rob admits that he messed up, but says it isn’t over and that he can still make it happen. he says he can find another way

aaron is meanwhile legit rolling his eyes and generally looking tired. he answers with another scam?

and rob is obviously like yes if that’s what it takes, yeah.

not to be dramatiq, but honestly from what aaron’s saying, the ‘it’ is robert’s fuckin soul lmao. it’s robert not ruining people’s lives, as u say, and not being terrible. aaron doesn’t want this experience of them having a child together to also be tainted by robert... uh.... not being.... great.... (touchy subject, moving on, might explain why he’s particularly mad/suddenly v reluctant to procreate with his husband though) (what if they spoke about it) (would anyone else be highkey down for that, or just me?)

ANYWAY, aaron’s mad because robert fucked up people’s lives and got caught. he was, it should be noted, a lot less bothered about fucking up graham’s life, even in this scene. i think there’s still just... some anger at robert getting caught and being in a shitty situation in general. he specifically says it’s not about the money. he’s not actually mad about the money. it’s about robert getting them into this situation, about people they (and robert specifically) supposedly care about getting caught in the crossfire, particularly after robert fucked over vic to get to billy literally just a few days back (as u said) 

and aaron at the moment, bc he’s dramatic and kind of insane, but also probably bc he knows his husband, can’t see a way out of this that doesn’t involve robert potentially sinking further down that rabbit hole of ‘bad’, which aaron absolutely doesn’t want - he’s ok with robert doing shitty stuff up until a point (providing he’s careful) and we know this, but he actively doesn’t want robert.... i guess, throwing people he supposedly cares about under the bus for his own gains again? because that’s understandably like a step back for rob, in the soul and morality department

even though frankly, we all know robert would throw every single person under the bus for aaron at any given opportunity and that will never change

it’s probs for the best that aaron is someone who is going to call rob out on that shit and try to stop him from fucking up his life, though. aaron cares about robert’s terrible little soul. 

SO ANYWAY, AARON IS CONCERNED AND LASHING OUT AT ROBERT BC OF IT AND THIS SCENE GOT MORE PERFECT WITH MORE REWATCHES AND EXTRA META AND NOW I LOVE IT AND IM SORRY THIS POST IS LONG AND EXTRA AND ALSO IM SORRY FOR CONTRADICTING YOU EARLIER, WHEN I’M NOW P SURE YOU’RE CORRECT this has been a real journey for me

I’m signing off until the end of this storyline - but I just want to leave you guys with my opinion (which you don’t have to agree with - and don’t bother to send me hateful anons - you know who you are - cause I’m singing out and won't be around to even read them. )

Under the cut & in no particular order: 

Rebecca issue - do I think Rebecca deserves a happy ending? Yes. Do I think she deserves to take Seb? No. I understand why she wants to take Seb and I even understand why she’s being so selfish. It’s not like I don’t get it because we can all be incredibly selfish. I don’t think she’s a monster or a demon just a human. 

But Seb isn’t hers, a baby isn’t someone’s property, he’s as much hers as he is Robert and Aaron’s, his their son too - and I don’t think she’s taking that into consideration? Seb’s a son, a nephew, a grandson, he’s more than just her kid and her thinking about Seb as “my baby” so I can do anything I want is inherently selfish.

The reason she made me so furious in the preview is she treated Robert and Aaron as babysitters - he’ll have Ross, he’ll have a nanny, he’ll meet new people - and that somehow makes up for it? That somehow replaces the fact that for the last 6 months he’s been taken care of by them - that he has a home - that he’s been surrounded by family that wants to be there for him.

The thing is I wouldn’t mind if she had been looking after Seb and didn’t have executive dysfunction but she does - and for the last 6 months it’s been robron looking after him full time - and they want too - so for Rebecca to say “I’ll replace you with a nanny” is so heartbreaking and gross. 

I understand she needs a fresh start, of course, the girl does, but she’s the one choosing to leave - that’s her choice - so her being like “yup Seb will be a-okay without you guys your replaceable” is such so offensive and just eww. Her thinking a nanny (no shade I had one growing up) is as good as two parent’s who have the time and want to take care of a child is just eww and tbf if we’re meant to be rooting for her why have they even written her this selfish? I don’t get the narrative.

Robron issue - Okay so where are the this is biphobic and homophobic blogs and anons? You were all around for ONS cause your fav ship got ruined by the ‘evil woman’ which tbh wasn’t even biphobic or homophobic but your fine with this? Your fine with a narrative saying a child needs a mother and two dads aren’t enough. 

Now that’s homophobic. 

Them saying Rebecca deserves Seb because she’s his mother - and Robert and Aaron don’t??? Why because fathers don’t deserve their children? Because two men in a relationship together couldn’t possibly give a baby what he needs?

So where the hell are you guys now?

Chas issue - To have a plot that literally in yesterday’s episode showed Chas cuddling Seb - to basically taking her grandson away from her a week after burying her daughter? Why would they run these two storylines alongside each other it’s gross and there’s no way around it. It’s bordering on misery porn at this point? Having Chas have to watch her son heartbroken over losing his child a week after burying her daughter - having Aaron wanting to tell Chas about their surrogacy plan - a week after burying her daughter - you see my issue?

I have to give Emmerdale a hand cause this may actually be one of the most insensitive storylines they’ve done in a while and if it doesn’t result in Seb back with robron - Well after the Kim Tate shit I have no faith in these producers.
