Feeling mad and overstimulated a while ago and I wanted to list out my favorite calm down methods. Best done with a cg but pretending your fictional cg is there too helps a ton!

🍯 Going to a dark, quiet room without music or other stimulants.

🍯 Hugging your cg or your biggest plushie reeaaaal tight!

🍯 Running your hands against the fabric to calm down and breathe deeply. Feel any other soothing texture.

🍯 Rest your eyes and close them for a bit.

🍯 Distracting yourself with happy media. I love watching toy cooking videos and slime cooking videos!

🍯 It's okay to ask for reassurance or help. Tell your cg or fictional cg how you're feeling- I'm 1000% sure they're willing to help!

I'm a selfshipper who's also an age/pet regressor. Yes I know I risk getting double the hate on all sides just by saying that. But age/petre (STRICTLY SFW) is a huge source of comfort for me, as much as selfshipping is. I have Caregiver F/Os and characters that I headcanon regressing with me. This is partially me venting, because I'm worried that I won't be accepted into the F/O community because I'm age/petre

But I also want any other selfshippers who age or pet regress to know that you're normal and super valid, and you aren't alone. Regression headcanons are awesome! I love seeing Caregiver F/Os! I love seeing people being Caregivers for their regressed F/Os! I don't know how much the communities overlap, but as someone who's a part of both, regressing selfshippers are so cool and amazing

"I love you, Julianne."

There's a small smile on Julianne's face. It quietly widens the more she thinks about those words. She leans her cheek against her plush's strawberry hat as the warmth spreads through her body.

"I'm proud of you for telling me how you felt this morning."

Still, the cat's eyes avert from her caregiver's gaze. The feeling of shame slowly creeps back into her consciousness and she falters. Juliane squeezes her doll, absentmindedly nodding to pretend she heard what her caregiver said.

"Oh, Julianne, can you look at me for a moment?"

Her larger hands cup the calico's right cheek and nudge her face to look straight. Suddenly, her face is bright red and warm. The cat pouts, not sure how to tell her caregiver she's still embarrassed she told her she was feeling sad that morning. But it didn't seem like an issue like she expected. Julianne frowns as she makes eye contact with her caregiver.

"Do you like it when I tell you you did a good job?"

"Yes, actually." Julianne admits.

"Alright, I'll remember that." Sam giggles, taking her little's hands into her own. Julianne observes how much bigger her caregiver's paws are compared to hers. They envelope her own completely.

cg!asgore moodboard & headcanons! (more under the cut!)

you'd think that, being a king, asgore would be very good with setting rules and adhering to responsibility - but with his regressor? all that goes completely out of the window.

want to stay up past your bedtime? want to have cookies for breakfast, or stay out playing just a little longer? asgore just can't say no!

he's completely weak to his little one's requests, big or small - he may seem like kind of a pushover for it, but he doesn't mind.

he can be responsible when it counts, though. if you get hurt whilst playing, or need a bath, or are just too sleepy, he's perfect for looking after you, because he will remind you in a kind yet firm manner that he needs to make sure you're okay.

loves gardening with his little one! i think he would let his regressor help water his flowers, definitely. he'd tell you they bloom a little brighter, now that you've been taking care of them :)

he also loves having tea with his little! will sit down for a calm cup of tea at the table with his little and let them babble about their day, and would have some nice chamomile tea with before bedtime.

good with baby and toddler regressors, because he's very gentle and soothing with them, and a total softie.

but, he's also great with older regressors too, because he's mastered that balance between being fun and firm when he needs to be (even if he can be a little indulgent).

would absolutely let a more rowdy regressor roughouse and wrestle him. he'd play pretend, that he was training them as a royal guard!

gives great hugs, and because of just... the sheer size of him, being held by asgore makes anyone feel tiny and safe in his arms <3

definitely a fatherly caregiver. like, the most fatherly caregiver you'd ever meet. he would 100% love to be called "dad", "papa" or anything similar by his regressor.

if i had to give him, like, a dad archetype, he'd definitely be the fun dad who gives in to his kids a little too much, but is just so loveable that his kids still adhere to most of his rules anyways :)
