as art fight looms ever-closer on the horizon, a few reminders to myself and others;

-you are not obligated to revenge any attacks

-you are not obligated to attack anyone you don't want to

-you can challenge yourself and experiment, but what's most important is to have fun!

-one friendly reminder; etiquette is still a thing on the site. if someone attacks you, please at least leave a comment to thank them for their time, even if you hate it lol

-if you try to guilt someone into attacking/revenging you, you're cringe and i am shaming you for it.

-finally (i can't believe i have to say this), if someone makes a physical attack for you, you ask for it to be mailed to you, and it gets lost in the mail?

don't harass the artist. it's very very very VERY likely not their fault.

Hello, yes, I made this blog actually for the whole purpose just to post my art somewhere. 🤲 and it seems I haven’t yet. Anyone who comes across this, This is one of my drawings of my oc Aima :)

He doesn’t have a specific story to go into yet, I haven’t made it, but I’ve thought of it! He has a backstory quite planned out. And his entire character of who he is is planned out. I haven’t made the story yet because I’m working on my art style! So if you’re wondering why some of my future posts don’t quite look the same, that’s why.

Perhaps some information about him . .

Aima is an Angel! He takes the role of both Power and seraphim in a way? I could be mistaken on that part. He’s an Angel birthed from god’s wrath, revealing to little that Jesus wasn’t the only son of god. Simply, born a mortal, risen immortal. He was born immortal, but unprotected from Demons down on Earth. Aima’s job on Earth is to eradicate churches and people who have fallen far beyond resurrection, grasped by temptation, pulled down by demons. Some contracted, some Stuck. The only problem is, Aima has a Weakness, the worst of all, his name. Down on Earth he goes by the name Achilles. But that’s enough facts for now!

recently i was watching a streamer who was complaining about the Two Cakes Logic, saying "yeah, but no one is gonna eat all of that cake in one go"

and no, no one is going to eat it all in one go, but if the cake if there, someone will find it. there's so much cake out there that it might take a while for someone to find and love your cake (which can be frustrating)... but UNLIKE cakes, stories/art/media we create in general (usually) doesn't go bad over time.

and even if your cake is like other already existing cakes, so what? y'all didn't make it exactly the same, and you made it the way you like it. which someone else is bound to like too.

I assure you: somebody, somewhere, is on the exact same wavelength as you are.

Creative Thieves are fascinating, because they have no notion of the value of the thing they're stealing because they've never had it in the first place.

They know it's something they lack (which is why they steal it), but once they have it, it begins to prop up their fragile self esteems, and they see the value in it because it means they now have something to lose. (still stolen, but they've already rationalized that part into the stratosphere)

And this isn't even on the same level as beginner artists tracing to learn stuff, or "cringe" teenagers making OCs similar to things they like; because they can grow and change and add their own personal creativity to it over time.

These are people who completely skipped the "original character, do not steal" phase of their lives because they never were creative enough to have something to steal in the first place.

I would feel pity, if it weren't so outweighed by contempt.

Hopefully all those emotions can at least be replaced with schadenfreude in watching them cannibalize each other long term. (instead of an oligarchy fed by people who want easy waifus and quick memes)
