been going a little bit insane about this sentence from Ace by Angela Chen for the past week

#in stars and time #isat #siffrin #josh art tag #happy pride yall!#getting to play as a nonbinary protag who is also ace was just so so cool #im hoping to draw the main 6 with their flags for pride #cuz this game and its lgbt-ness makes me so happy and its awesome that its canon!#i also really love the varied relevancy of the lgbt themes #cuz its certainly not the plot of the story #but some characters lgbt-ness is quite important to their backstory or their current struggles!#while for others its just kinda there!!#and i think thats great #its a good reflection of real life and how different people have different experiences being lgbt and how it affects their lives differently #and works well with the story #it doesnt get in the way at all while still being important to the characters #and it even fits into the worldbuilding so well????#truly if there were no mentions of the Gender Themes i think the worldbuilding wouldnt have been quite as good #mirabelle specifically really gets to me...#prolly cuz im. yknow. aroace too #but seeing how she felt she was betraying her religion? how she fept she needed to change to fit other peoples expectations?#and how earlier in the game she does actually say breaking traditions is also a part of the change belief #but she doesnt realize that can extend to her #it all hits really hard for me

i would also like to take this moment to remind everyone that asexuality is a spectrum. just because viktor is asexual doesn’t mean he’s 100% sex-averse. there are sex-favorable aces. but this also CAN mean he’s sex averse. both are equally likely and it doesn’t matter which one he is, he’s still asexual.

its a spectrum so PLEASE don’t whine to me about how now you cant write fanfic about jayvik smut now or smth. i frankly don’t wanna hear it. you can always write your own headcannons or write something ooc. nobody cares.

im just very happy that we’re getting some ace rep (esp cause viktor is one of my faves TALK TO A WALLLL) in more shows. lets start with some aro (JUST ARO. NOT AROACE. THEYRE STILL DIFFERENT) and also some aroace rep. and nonbinary rep! and so many other identities :)

just so office chic and genuinely impractical. the faces are serving, the stances are elegant. and they are just SO cute

maya kind of looks like she’s wearing suspender straps just hanging down? but you look longer and theyre just part of… the rest of the outfit. same with mia, it looks like a coat and pencil skirt combo but the zipper goes the whole way down so it must be one thing. matter of fact you just stare at them long enough and you’re like wait? theyre both one-pieces??

there’s just so much going on. illusion of coat-dress combo jumpsuit kinda dresses, with lots of zippers and sewing crease lines. their eye makeup with the hard thick lines and the dark lips. the side parts pushed FAR and cut to sit so flush and even. maya has these hot pink heart shaped pads over her chest and it looks like mia might not be wearing a shirt under her coat. theyre both tied up in fancy little scarves that provide all look all color break-up and no warmth. the heels are high. the hair is long and shiny. tbh the everything is long and shiny. mias brown lipstick??? im insane???????

appreciation post for the people @ my uni’s aro/ace meet ups … i haven’t missed a single one this year and it’s been sosososo worth it

I think if I were really going to insert Harrow into the Ace Attorney setting tho, she'd be a defense attorney. One with an even more extreme philosophy than any in the game so far. She specialises in sentencing trials and plea bargains, representing guilty clients.

She knows that the falsely accused aren't the only ones who need someone in their corner when it feels like the world has turned its back. She learned that a long time ago, from a childhood.... friend. Someone she owes more than she could ever possibly repay, who believed in her and forgave her even when they both knew she didn't deserve it.

#ace attorney #the locked tomb #harrowhark nonagesimus #restorative justice is a bit of a complicated concept for the level the game are operating on lmao #so I don't expect to actually meet someone like that in the games I have yet to play #but it would be a fun and inspiring next step for the game's philosophy to take #and I think Harrow is heading in that direction #she's been a great hypocrite all her life (and will continue to be I'm sure)#but not so great she wouldn't believe in second chances for others #i have a very clear picture of her as an ace attorney style character and she's awesome #tlt aa au

Went to a play today and the mc got progresivelly more covered in blood, and it was kinda hot ngl.

#the set was also like 5 coffins and a blood splatered wall it was awesome #escpecially cause the charakter got out of the coffins like on stage that's how we saw the actors first #and all their clothing was kinda torn or blodied like the undead you know it was great #and they sang dancing queen really badly and that was also awesome and some more pop culture songs and refrences while the play is set in #1700 i think idk im bad at history but it was based on potop the book #oleśka was also kinda hot...im both incredibly aro/ace and kimda bi oh the queer spectrum of my attraction #its shrimp attraction lol #the pathetic knight was also kinda hot...but also very gender i need more flowy shirts and pretty vests fr #oh theatre my beloved ❤️
