Honestly the worst thing about being raised by and around professors is that I can't really do the whole students bitching about professors thing even when I mostly agree with it, because my whole life I have been hearing the professor's side of the story. Every time someone talks about how ridiculous mandatory attendance or participation is there's a part of me that starts loudly protesting about how actually being in class is really important for learning, and it must be so hugely frustrating for the professor when students just don't show up to your class half the time and then when they do show up they're playing sudoku on their computer.

The person who made it acquired at least one of the tracks on it by making a fake rare song, infiltrating a private tape trading scene, and trading the fake for the real stuff. This isn't super well known, but it's public knowledge if you go back on old reddit posts and such, kind of an open secret I guess. Just super shitty behavior if you ask me. Obviously, once something is out there it's out there and we can't put those songs back into the private trading scene, but it's a fucked up thing to have done and I'm not really willing to rec the comp anymore because of that, though I usually try not to go around talking shit about it in public-facing spaces lol.

nobody asked but i want everyone to know that when i draw karlach doing a happy tail thrash, it's stimming. i'm drawing her happy flapping. i'm not trying to compare karlach to a dog (or, rather, i'm not trying to condescend to her or minimize her pain or awareness or intelligence). i think everyone knows she's got big feelings and she's a very physically emotive and fidgety person (we've all seen her little dance) so it just makes sense to me that she would vent her excitement physically somehow.
