this is a super fun question for me bc caspar is the king of being completely wrong about things lmfao.

a small and incomplete list of things caspar is wrong about:

he thinks vodka is a substitute for mouth wash, and therefore brushing your teeth, because 'alcohol is good for disinfecting stuff'.

he thinks you crack eggs by crushing them in your hand and then scooping out the shell after.

he thinks you eat fruit with a skin (oranges, kiwis) by just biting into them.

he doesn't know about laundry detergent, thinks the water does a good enough job itself, has honestly just never thought about it.

and that's just basic household stuff. don't even get me started on 'cocaine and energy drinks are good substitutes for adhd meds'.

as for the others:

luca genuinely believes that the 'best friend code' is a real written document that caspar is citing, and not just a quick shorthand he made up on the spot to get luca to understand why he can't go and tell other people shit that he told him in confidence.

sebastian genuinely believes that all three cars movies are high class works of cinema.

In which Phainon is a hopeless chemistry student who finally understands the subject by falling hopelessly in love and turning every exam into a love letter.

note: i wanted to make something before his banner drops, so here's an attempt. this is my first time writing phainon, so i'm so sorry if it's bad or ooc. formatted on phone, so the format might be a bit off as well.

I. Phainon is Bad at Chemistry (Until He Isn't)

Phainon is, by all definitions, a disaster at General Chemistry.

It's not that he doesn't try. He studies, shows up to classes, and even volunteers to mop the lab floor when someone drops the potassium-filled beaker again. But there is just something about acids, chemical bonding, and thermodynamics that just... won't stick.

Until you came along.

Somehow, the moment he started associating chemical principles with you, everything clicked. Like how ionic bonds are one-sided love. Or how magnetic fields reminded him of the ways you make his heart pull sideways when you walk into the room. Soon his notes are no longer filled with the complicated jargons and diagrams as was shown by his professor, Anaxagoras, on the board but is instead replaced with little doodles and analogies connected to you.

Suddenly, chemistry is Phainon's favourite subject. Not because he's good at it, but because every question feels like a metaphor for his hopeless crush.

II. A Guide to Chemistry (Written in Phainon-Speak)

(Or, a glimpse into Phainon's notebook)

He's doomed. And Mydei, his best friend, is now aware of it.

They were studying together after classes, reviewing notes and discussing lessons. But this study session has long devolved into Phainon drawing stick figures of you and him with electrons drawn between them. He has not been paying attention to any of Mydei's words for the past 15 minutes and Mydei is starting to be annoyed at the lack of response. So he turned his gaze to his silent friend and came face-to-face with a very concerning list of things.

✧ Note A: Bonding Types ○ Ionic bond: When someone gives away everything—like I would, if they asked. One-sided, but powerful. Painful and devastating, very me-coded. ○ Covalent bond Shared electrons = shared food and drinks. Strong and stable. Very couple-coded. ○ Hydrogen bond Small and fleeting, like when their hands brushed against mine once and I couldn't breathe for three minutes.

✧ Note B: Magnetic Fields Technically it is formed when charges move. But also, when they enter a room and all my atoms realign. North Pole, South Pole? All irrelevant, my compass only points to them.

✧ Note C: Activation Energy The minimum energy needed to start a reaction. For me, that's three hours of inner turmoil, two hours of Mydei pep talks, and one caffeine overdose just to text them: 'hey do u wanna study together later maybe if you're free haha'.

✧ Note D: Chemical Equilibrium When the forward and reverse reactions are equal and occur at the same rate. It's like when they flirt with me by accident and I flirt back on purpose, they get flustered and I get flustered, we both freaked out and retreated at the same time. Balance. Equilibrium achieved. Both parties suffering.

"You're gonna fail both chem and romance in the same semester at this rate."

"HEY!!"

Mydei is tired and exasperated.

But Phainon? Phainon has never understood chemistry better.

III. Midterm Examinations and the Paper That Started It All

Phainon's Chemistry Midterm Paper

(Graded by: Professor Anaxagoras Professor Cerces)

Comment (all written in Cerces' handwriting): Professor Anaxa has refused to grade this paper properly so I have taken the liberty of grading it in his stead.

Question 1: Define polar vs non-polar covalent bonds. Answer: A polar bond is like when I like them more than they like me. Unbalanced, but still connected. A non-polar bond is when we're both blushing idiots too afraid to confess. Equal, with maximum tension. (I prefer non-polar, personally) Comment: Full marks.

Question 2: Describe an exothermic reaction. Answer: An exothermic reaction releases heat into the surroundings. Like when they laughed. Or when they brushed my hair back last Tuesday and I short-circuited. Pretty sure I melted internally. 100% heat released. No regrets. Comment: Correct. Also, too much detail.

Question 3: Explain Le Chatelier's Principle. Answer: When a system is disturbed, it shifts to restore balance. If I start ignoring them (usually by accident), they start sending me dog memes. When they forget to reply, I send them stupid chemistry puns. We always shift to equilibrium, return to chaotic harmony. It's the balance of love. Comment: Scientific accuracy = ✔️ Emotional damage = also ✔️

Question 4: What is an intermolecular force, and how does it differ from intramolecular force? Answer: Intermolecular = between separate molecules = the gravitational pull I feel when they walk by. Intramolecular = inside the molecule = the feelings I try to supress but fail to contain. TL;DR: both are responsible for me being completely stuck on them Comment: Perfectly phrased. It's brilliant, but also tragic.

Extra Credit (Free Response): What does chemistry mean to you? Answer: Chemistry is the invisible pull between two elements. Sometimes reactive, sometimes dangerous. but sometimes... just right. They are the element I wasn't supposed to discover, but now that I have, I don't think I'll ever be inert again. Also, please pass me. I need this for graduation. I'll even name my next molecule after you. Comment: A+ Score. And do note that the one who graded this paper is me, Cerces, not Anaxa.

Final Score: 85/100. PASS.

IV. And The News Spreads

It starts small.

Anaxa "accidentally" leaks a few lines to Aglaea in the faculty lounge. A student nearby heard their conversation and got their hands on the original paper. An anonymous student submitted it to the school zine as a meme; it somehow passed checks and got published under the title "Chemical Bonding: The Sappy Edition". The zine was quickly stopped soon after but word still spread faster than flu season in the dorm halls.

But they weren't just laughing at it, they were studying with it. Freshmen started using it as study guides. Then came the memes, the academic forum post, and a bootleg version was reprinted under the name "Chemistry of Love 101" in a study zine.

And Phainon... Phainon became a chemistry icon.

V. The Dreaded Day (But This Time Phainon Is Ready)

Phainon walks in early with a confident stride and sit front and center. He was calm. Too calm. Anaxa side-eyes him from his position on the podium.

A few hours later, the exam papers had all been collected and ready for grading. Anaxa's hands reaches for one at random. He took a quick glance at the answer, then stared hard at the name column, and finally released a huge sigh. Today is going to be a long day.

Then, one afternoon, the results came in

Students filtered out of the lecture hall in waves, clutching their graded papers with expressions ranging from mild horror to cautious joy.

You were sitting on the steps outside the chemistry building, drink in one hand and phone on the other, scrolling aimlessly. The air was buzzing with noise and the breeze was warm. You honestly didn't expect much from today—maybe a nap, maybe existential dread. But what you certainly didn't expect is for Phainon to stand in front of you, nervously hugging a stack of papers like it contained both his future and his grocery list.

"Hey," he said.

You looked up. He was flushed, hair a little messy, expression nervous but hopeful.

"Hey," you answered, smiling. "You okay?"

He hesitated, then dropped onto the step beside you with a dramatic sigh.

"I'm about to do something dumb," he muttered.

You raised an eyebrow at that. "Is it the same kind of dumb as replacing Mydei's sugar and salt bottles, or...?"

"No, like—emotionally dumb," he said, then pulled a single sheet from the middle of the stack and held it out. "Here. Read this."

You blinked. "You're... giving me your final exam paper?"

"Just look at it. Please?" he said, eyes wide and weirdly intense. "I swear it's not about the grades."

You took the page. At the top was his name written in familiar scrawl.

And right below that is what you could recognise as Anaxa's handwriting:

Grade: 100/100

Comment: I refuse to ever lay my (singular) eye on this paper again. I recommend you send these "texts" to the actual recipient instead of my grading inbox.

You snorted. "Already promising," you said, flipping the page.

What followed is less like a science exam and more like a romantic thesis disguised as academic desperation.

Some carefully selected excerpts from Phainon's finals:

"A chemical reaction must overcome activation energy. I overcame mine the day I met them."

"Endothermic reactions absorb heat. But being around them is exothermic, they make me burn and I will do so happily."

"Stability constant, K = [Products]/[Reactants]. And I am more stable when they are near."

"When I say I love them, it's not hyperbole. It's data. Proven through every beat of my heart and every laugh of theirs that knocks the air out of my lungs. They are the catalyst and I am hopelessly, irreversibly reacting."

And at the very end, written almost like a postscript, is your name followed by "will you be my equilibrium?"

You stared at the last line for a long moment, something warm and strange tightening in your chest. Beside you, Phainon was silent. You turned your head. He was staring straight ahead, hands fidgeting on his lap, as if afraid to look you in the eye.

"You really wrote all this?" you asked softly.

He let out a breath that trembled at the edges. "Yeah. I didn't think Professor Anaxa would read the whole thing. I was just—y'know—sleep deprived, emotionally compromised, and full of caffeine."

You traced the margin of the paper with your finger.

"But I meant all of it," his voice was firm although he still wasn't looking at you. "Even if i flunked, i figured i should try telling the truth, just once."

You reached into your bag and pulled out a red pen of your own. Phainon blinked as you uncapped it and scribbled something at the end of the paper, then passed it back to him.

He read it. Paused. And nearly fell off the steps.

Beside the black ink of his own handwriting is your newly added words written in red.

"will you be my equilibrium?"

Grade: 100/100

Comment: Yes. Always."

my telekinetic x-men adjacent oc: "aura" aka tk

her name is something like angelique taylor-kennedy levitt, but there is a reason why she doesn't go by her full name anymore and textually, it would never be revealed. you'd only know her as T.K., and see a brief flashback of her parents calling her as angel and tay, and maybe a panel of her getting uncomfortable at the mention of the kennedys, that's it

i like her being like "my awesome tk powers" as tk is also an acronym for telekinesis

her primary and active code-name is aura, but she has gone/will go by by: frenzy, sloth, vector x or vextor, grey matter, levity, movement, upend, displacement (some reserve code names i'm keeping)

"mind over matter" is a pretty good subtitle or a quote tbh. same as "the spirit is strong, but the flesh is unwilling"

her main sins are sloth and pride; her powers are greatly useful for her as she's lazy and believes in working smart (hardly working) as opposed to working hard, and her confidence is a facade for her

there are weak rumours about TK being the secret illegitimate daughter of emma frost, felicia hardy, alison blaire, or some villain or some god, but the real truth is that TK comes from a very ordinary, regular, working class family in the countryside

TK had a couple of siblings; one day, they were all fighting over who's gonna get up from the couch and get the remote, and she was like ugh FINE and suddenly the remote started floating literally... she hesitantly brought it closer to them, and boom, 80% of their sibling conflicts resolved

their parents were very concerned but still loving towards TK

however, the love wasn't enough against the attack of anti mutant villains; being scared of the risks and aware of the fact that having a mutant child is too much of a hassle in this day and age, TK agreed to let the x-men take her with them, and have them permanently erase her family's memories of them; she's not there in the family album anymore, she doesn't get to attend her siblings' graduation ceremonies or her parents' renewal of their vows, she's nobody to them now. as much as she misses them and resents the x-men, she's just glad her hometown is safe from sentinels and other threats

i want to say TK was at the hellfire academy before she dropped out on her own accord... but i'm unsure of this

TK name drops basically my favourite female marvel characters a lot, she'll act like they're best friends and she knows a lot about them and they're like "?? who are you i am from ancient greece"

TK's main domain is telekinesis and so she has a wide range of sub abilities and influence. her main limitation is that she can't manipulate anything she can't see, only mentally lift up or move things she can see. she is the type to unzip her opponent's pant in a fight to humiliate them

she carries herself very strongly, she is a bit snarky and bratty but not mean, and she hides her true feelings a lot

finally, i'm thinking TK is 24 and has auditory processing disorder and mild hearing issues especially in her right ear

i also want to say that TK isn't actually lazy, she has a mitochondrial disorder or fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue, but those are undiagnosed and unnoticed, and she along with everybody thinks genuinely she is lazy, out of shape, weak, and has wasted potential, that she could be better if she just applied herself

My thoughts on the second season. Not looking to start a conversation here. I just want to get my thoughts and feelings down.

Overall:

The show looked amazing. Somehow better than the first season.

The production and design teams deserve all the awards.

I loved the cinematography.

I definitely felt Britell's absence but I thought Roberts did a decent job with the soundtrack.

The cast give some of their best performances ever this season.

The highs of the season were very high (Ghorman arc, Mon's speech), but the lows were very low for me (writing choices for some of the characters and the time jumps).

The three episodes a week thing was brutal and I really wish we had one episode a week instead. I wanted to sit with an episode for a week to dig into it and discuss it with my friends. It also sucked having this season end so fast after waiting over two years for it.

The first season will always hold a special place in my heart, and I wish deep down we were given five seasons in that style, or at least three seasons. I felt the second season, particularly from a character standpoint, really suffered from the time jumps.

If the first season is a 10/10 for me, then the second season is an 8/10, and it is very much carried by the Ghorman arc. For me, personally, the show succeeded in the story it wanted to tell, but didn't quite hit the mark as a Rogue One prequel.

Below are thoughts I wrote down after watching each arc, and then again after the finale. Warning: I yap a lot and don't make much sense.

Arc 1:

I have a weird relationship with this arc. It was very enjoyable, but the first two episodes felt like a bit of a departure from the usual tone of the series? And in retrospect, this arc felt really weird in the grand scheme of the season (and even the show). Not sure how to word how I'm feeling here.

I loved the opening sequence. Cassian's speech to Niya. Learning on the job when flying the TIE. It looked incredible and was a great way to open the season.

The acting of the two "leaders" of the Dipshit Brigade was not on the level of this show. Apologies, but their performances do kind of take me out of it.

Ben is great as Krennic (as expected). I like how they are setting up Ghorman here.

Bix being an older sister to Wilmon is very special to me and I love that dynamic.

"I'VE BEEN UPSIDE FOR TWO DAYS!" I am so sorry Cassian, but I laughed so hard at this part. I loved it.

Oh my gosh the dinner scene. Syril laying on the bed. Incredible stuff.

Bix has been through a lot, so I'm not sure how I feel about that scene happening to her character. However, I give kudos to the show for calling it what it is.

I liked seeing the wedding but I felt that too much time was spent here? Also RIP Tay.

Pretty sure they just wrote off B2 here. At least he's alive?

Brasso :(

Footnote since I've watched the finale. Did they really not once mention B2 or Brasso at all after this arc??? I was a little shocked Cassian didn't toast to him with Vel. These were both beloved characters and then they were just...gone. I know B2 made a brief appearance at the end, but come on.

Arc 2:

This arc was much more Andor-like than the first. But all three episodes being released was brutal on my first watch. There was SO much information to process.

I can't stress this enough. Ghorman looks AMAZING. Practical sets my beloved.

This arc solidified my love for Kleya. She is up there on my list of favourite characters. And Elizabeth is knocking it out of the park with her acting. This was further cemented for me in the finale.

I'm really enjoying what they are doing with Syril. As well as Dedra.

Cassian going undercover as Varian Skye and code switching was everything to me. I need more of this.

Mon and Krennic going at each other in a verbal fist fight oh hell yeah.

Bix and Cassian. Where to begin. They're cute, and Diego and Adria have great chemistry, but I am not liking the direction they are taking with Bix and how they are writing her. The revenge scene was cool I guess? But it happened very suddenly. I needed more build up to it.

Not going to lie, I was expecting Cassian to be more committed to the cause at this point given what happened on Ferrix, his reaction to Nemik's manifesto, Narkina, and the whole "kill me or take me in" thing. I also felt he was rather largely absent from this arc?

Cinta's death. Oh boy. Just why? It was way too soon after they just reconciled. Vel and Cinta have hardly had much screen time at this point. I think it was at this moment I realized how much the time jumps were hurting this season as a lot of character development takes place off screen.

Arc 3:

Easily the best arc of the entire season. Episode 8 and 9 deserve the high praise and ratings.

They really like making Cassian shirtless in episode 7, huh? I'm not complaining.

More Bix and Wil sibling dynamic ahhh my heart.

Yavin looks great! I just wish we got to see more of them setting up the base and recruiting people. Again, the time jumps are taking these things away from us.

I actually quite liked the part with the Force Healer. Cassian being the "messenger" and "there's some place he needs to be" bit. They also played a stripped/slowed down version of the music that plays when he dies 1) during that part, 2) when Bix tells him later what the Force Healer said and they hug, 3) when Bix tells Vel "he'll be there when you need him", and 4) when Cassian is telling Bix he's done and that "there are still places to go to", and yeah that broke my heart :(

Episode 8. What can I say. An absolute masterpiece. I don't think I'll ever stop hearing the Ghor singing their national anthem and Dreena's broadcast.

Syril and Cassian's fight was incredibly well done and well worth the two season long build up. Also Cassian going "who are you?" had me screaming.

I also thought Syril was very well written over both seasons. I understood his motivations and his reactions. I thought his ending was well done. Huge props to Kyle for absolutely killing it as Syril.

And then Mon Mothma. Oh my gosh. What an amazing character. She has been one of my favourites since the first season. And I really like how this show has given so much more depth to her character. Genevieve O'Reilly deserves all the awards for her performance.

Speaking of Mon, her speech was incredible, and I loved the use of Eulogy here. There's a small part of me that wished she got her own epic monologue soundtrack, though.

Mon and Cassian on my screen together. I really needed this. I also like how Cassian extracting Mon showcases why he is the guy for the job.

I quite like where they're taking Cassian here. Like I said, he's the guy for the job, but he doesn't want to be the guy. I didn't quite fully understand this until his discussion with Kleya and then later with Luthen where he says, "I make my own decisions" and Luthen responds with, "Is that what you've been doing?" Cassian is someone who wants to make his own choices, but hardly gets to. Ever since Maarva took him from Kenari, it's mostly been others making these major life choices for him. I see the impact of this when he lets Wil go find Dreena. Even though it kills Cassian on the inside, he won't take that choice away from Wil. Then in Rogue One, Cassian finally makes his own choices. Idk this take on Cassian makes him more complex and human to me, and I really like it. It also strengthens the parallels between him and Jyn.

My two complaints with the above point is that 1) this should have happened sooner in the season, and 2) his relationship with Bix is just not done well enough for me to feel that it's the major thing holding him back from being fully committed.

Speaking of Bix, she is pushed to the side this arc. She's an amazing mechanic, so why couldn't there have been scenes of her teaching new recruits? Or doing a weapons assessment? Or just doing something that contributes to the base? Her speech at the end, whilst sad and well acted, didn't really stick the landing with me. I like her character and just feel she deserved better :( also Adria does a great job playing Bix and I wanted to see more.

Same with Vel. I needed to see more of her here. Maybe a discussion with Bix about Cinta, Brasso, and all the others they've lost (edit: this took place in the last arc, but with Cassian instead of Bix. I'm glad it happened but I'm still salty at no Brasso mention).

At least K2 is here. I don't mind the way they've introduced him into the series, I'm just sad we only get one arc with him and Cassian together. He really needed to be introduced sooner for me.

Despite my grievances, this arc was phenomenal.

Arc 4:

Episode 10 was amazing. Luthen, and especially Kleya, were some of the biggest highlights of this show for me. It was a risk putting an episode like this in the final arc, but I think it ultimately paid off.

The rest of this arc was enjoyable, but it felt like a "oh shit we need to tie into Rogue One" arc. It was a bit jarring getting into this after Ghorman and Mon's speech in the previous week.

Having Melshi, K2, and Cass together on my screen is something I'm so grateful for (be still my secret little Melshian heart). I loved all their scenes together. Also, more Melshi is always a good thing!

Speaking of K2, I do wish we had more of him. I understand the decision to not bring him in earlier, but I still feel disappointed.

Cassian throwing himself over Kleya to protect her? Obsessed.

Goodbye Bryar pistol :( it doesn't look like he had it with him after extracting Kleya.

Loved Vel and Cass toasting to some of those who have fallen (still upset at no Brasso mention, though). And I loved seeing more Vel on my screen, especially with Mon and Kleya.

Holy shit that ending for Dedra. That interrogation scene with Krennic was terrifying as well.

Nemik's manifesto again!!!!!! And WOW that ending for Partagaz.

I was a little shocked at there being no Jyn mention? Or at least something alluding to her existence? I'm glad they mentioned Galen at least.

Not sure how I feel yet on Cassian's characterization in the show. I enjoyed a lot of what they brought to the character, but I felt like he didn't get as much development as he did in the first season? I guess I'm a little disappointed, but overall satisfied. Ultimately, I was hoping for better in the final season.

Loved the little montage at the end though of Cassian walking through Yavin to depart for Kafrene. I sobbed. He also watered his plants beforehand. And yes I cried at that.

Not particularly happy with the baby scene. I feel like Bix, in general, deserved more screen time (independent of Cassian) and better writing if this is where they were taking her. However, I'm just not a big fan of this trope in general...

I'm happy Wilmon is alive and with Dreena.

2024 in review

I wasn't actually going to do this this year, but what the hell.

2024 has been--weird. I think it's the year I've written the least since 2020, word-wise; it also saw me writing something non-Star Wars related for the first time in four years. These two things may or may not be connected.

Anyhow, this is a pretty short list with five fics that for whatever reason I find the most interesting. They aren't my favourites, they're not the best; but they were hard to write, or I learned something writing them, or I had fun, etc.

half agony, half hope. 34k, codex, T, also known as the persuasion AU though it's more of a homage to one of my favourite novels ever. it was extremely hard to write and it took me a while to get out of my own way and just do it.

you'll like it if you enjoy pining and yearning, smart and competent people so deep inside their own asses they can't see what's right in front of them, the agonies of being 20 and responsible for the lives of millions of people and a clone trooper, jane austen, cody being fucking stupid.

home alone. 2.9k, jango fett/obi-wan kenobi, E. part of my daredevil AU. I don't think it's a very good fic, and I feel too self-conscious to reread it and find out if it's actually bad, but that's okay. The fact that I wrote something like this (that is, something that's quite a bit of my comfort zone for a couple reasons) is good enough imo.

you'll like it if you enjoy fics that are pwp but a bit to the left, trans jango fett, obi-wan being the annoying kind of service top, established relationships and domesticity, superhero AUs that aren't actually about superheroing.

islands. 9.4k, codex + anakin & rex, T. The Force Sensitive Rex fic. I am very proud of this fic. I think it does exactly what I wanted it to do, and I had a lot of fun writing it. I loooove writing these three in different combinations, and I really enjoyed having them interact in such a weird scenario.

you'll like it if you enjoy shrimp emotions, Force Stuff TM, force sensitive clones, fics where there's no Anakin bashing that acknowledge that there is something very wrong with him (affectionate), cody and rex being obsessed with each other, rex being a messed up lil guy.

smoke signals and code. 3.5k, jason todd/tim drake, T. This fic was my return to Batman comics and to this ship after a decade. I think it's kind of rough, but I'm still pretty proud of it, and I had so much fun writing them again and coming back to this world and these characters. In a lot of ways it was very much like coming home.

you'll like it if you enjoy unresolved sexual tension, calculated violence, characters who are too clever for their own good, that very specific brand of fucked-up-ness you find in late 90s/early 00s batman comics, ships that take the trope "enemies to lovers" as a challenge.

irradiated. 1.5k, vader/rex/cody, E. I wrote this as a gift for a friend. It's the kind of fic that is only supposed to be liked by one person--if anyone else enjoys it, that's great, but it is very much tailored for one person's tastes. In this case, that means it is weird as hell. There's a POV change half-way through, it's more of a character/relationship study, it actually doesn't have a plot, it sits right on the border between experimental and presumptuous, I'm not that sure it works. And I had a lot of fun writing it (and my friend liked it ❤️).

you'll like it if you enjoy second person point of view, Vader being weird, a bit of body horror in your not quite smut, open/ambiguous everything, Imperial Era stuff, weird style choices.

Enea Bastianini for Rimini INmagazine (July 2015)

The bike and the beast

Enea Bastianini, 17 years old, rookie of the year of the Moto3 2014 world championship, riding a bike since forever, precisely since when he was 3 years and 3 months old.

He’s strong, straightforward, brilliant and genuine like his land: Renzo Pasolini and Pier Paolo Bianchi, the terra de’ mutor [ndr: dialect, means “land of the bikes”] where many successful riders, engineers and team managers were born. Enea Bastianini is nicknamed Bestia, a bit for the similarities with his surname but also for his gutsy driving style.

He got on a minibike for the first time at 3 years and 3 months of age: from this comes his racing number, 33. After putting himself on display in the junior categories last year he debuted in the Moto3 World Championship and he immediately amazed everyone. It was incredible how a barely 16 years old teenager, at his debut between the bigs, could fight with such authority in the group of the best riders without making errors. 

He looked an expert already, coming from years of fights in superbike, and certainly not a rookie.

He never let any doubt or awe transpire, on the contrary he showed an extraordinary lucidity and an immense talent. This year he’s between the “bigs” of the championship. He recently got into the Fiamme Oro State Police sports group after winning the contest for the employment of 25 athletes with the best cumulative score.

He’s a champion, a policeman, but fundamentally a boy from our land who’s living his dream and letting thousands of fans dream at the same time. Bike racing, and especially the world championship, is followed closely by medias: from national televisions to newspapers. Bastianini therefore became in a short period of time a public figure and a role model for a lot of young people. Enea means hope for many fans scanning the world championship in search of a start that will shine for years to come, when the celestial body of Valentino Rossi will inevitably be outshined.

After these last results you became famous. How do you live this moment?

“I live this wave of success with great peace and joy at the same time, especially when I get stopped by people who recognise me and want a picture with me.”

Rimini is a city full of life, veracious, with many turistic, mundane, historical and cultural places of interest. What do you love about this city?

“THere isn’t a place or a thing in particular that I like of my city: it’s the place I grew up in and I believe all Rimini’s places and things are part of me and, consequently, I like all of them. I care a lot about keeping my friendships.”

Let’s take a step back. On the famous minibikes track of our neighbourhood many riders grew up: from Pasini to Simoncelli, from De Angelis to Poggiali. Summed up to many other champions of the surroundings, like Rossi, Dovizioso and Melandri. When they were racing on minibikes Bastianini probably wasn’t even born yet, but the start is the same for many. In Romagna we have the passion for racing in our genetic code.

What are your memories tied to minibikes?

“The best memory I have, without a doubt, is the first time I got on the minibike and I asked my father if it actually was a real bike and it had fuel inside. Then the evenings spent at the track of Cattolica where I used to go race almost every day with my friends. The best years were 2007 and 2008, when we raced and trained, me and some other riders now in Moto3 and Moto2, with a knife between our teeth and hard passes, but once the race was over we were all friends laughing and joking together.”

Romagna isn’t only the land of the bikes. What are your favourite dishes?

“Strozzapreti pasticciati, a typical dish of where we live, and then i like pizza.”

The riders from Rimini have almost all gone to school at the Istituto Tecnico Leon Battista Alberti. The principal is a bike lover and, besides being a teacher, he’s always been a fan. On those same desks have studied Mattia Pasini, Roberto Tamburini, Massimo Roccoli and Marco Simoncelli. Among them there’s who got their diploma with the highest grade like Tamburini, who today is in full fight for the world title in a class preparatory for the Superbike, and who left the school before getting to their diploma instead. Enea this year attended the third year at the Leon Battista Alberti.

And school? Did you get promoted?

“School is certainly not my strong point, thanks to my sport too, but I try to do my best. This year I’ve been rimandato, but I’ll do everything to get promoted.” [ndr: in highschool in italy if you don’t reach the passing mark in three or less subjects by the end of the year, you get rimandato, “postponed to september”, and you have to take reparatory exams. Failing to pass them results in being held back for the year]

In the wait for preparatory exams, let's switch to a happier topic. The MotoGP paddock is full of beautiful girls and usually riders have a lot of success.

Do you have a girlfriend?

“Let’s say that having a girlfriend is good but not having one is better, also because at my age it’s nice being able to have fun.”

Does your family always follow you at races?

“My family has always supported me and if I am where I am right now it’s especially thanks to them. My uncle Francesco is at the races and sometimes my dad too.”

Was Bestia a nickname given to you by your friends or your family?

“It was given to me by my mechanic when I was in the Honda trophy in 2012, then in 2014 during the first Moto3 tests another mechanic started calling me Bestia: from then on it has become the nickname that characterizes me and isn’t restricted to racing.”

Besides racing, what are your hobbies, your passions?

“I like fishing, riding mountain bikes with my friends and skiing, this last one a new passion.”

Which riders were you a fan of as a kid?

“When I was young I was a fan of Manuel Poggiali and Valentino Rossi.”

Rossi himself had set his eyes on Bastianini at the end of 2014 when he won the title of rookie of the year. He wanted to put him in his Moto3 team VR46 in 2015, next to Fenati, but Enea preferred to decline and stay with Gresini, who had believed in him when not many people knew him and had therefore helped him reach high levels. Bastianini has therefore shown gratefulness to Gresini and foresight staying in a team offering him big garanties of competitiveness and allows him to fight for success on a regular basis.

i have to agree with you on the "oh look, a baby." cause its just SO fucking perfect and i also feel the same lol. i think the "well if it was all hunky dory" line has to be in there too. cause its just fucking hilarious in the worst way. i like to believe barba bet her she couldn't fit the phrase into her cross and she was all "fucking watch me."

5. best personality trait

how ferociously protective she is of the people she loves and the people who need it most. we see it come out with Avery Jackson and with Abbey from dowland, and those are just the canon examples lol. She'll do whatever she has to and is fiercely loyal to the people she loves most/love her the most

6. worst personality trait

the way she can get relatively snippy pretty quick. esp if she's tired or stuck on something, the frustration builds up fast and she snaps. a lot of the time it's frustration towards herself but it ends up getting projected onto someone else by accident.

33. something guaranteed to make them cry

ooooo.... on the deeper side: being told she's not good enough. no matter whether that's professionally, personally, tied to a romantic aspect. she's a bit of a perfectionist/still learning how to let go of being a perfectionist and it can deeply affect her

on the more fun side: i think she's a fucking sap and cries at the sappy parts of movies.

36. their favourite season

autumn. easily. it's cooled down a little bit, the slew of tourists have returned to their homes, the leaves are start to turn, it always makes her think of the school year and how september was a fresh start, a new year, new class/teacher, new friends, the back to school shopping (you cannot tell me rita calhoun does not go stationary supply shopping every year for a little happy boost. and she's extremely organized and colour coded). in another life she would've been a teacher and now i'm sensing an AU forming in my mind.. fuck... okay, some SVU as teachers headcanons coming later. someone remind me! (she's obviously the queer english teacher who everyone's in love with and is making all the girls question their sexuality)

37. what they really think about themselves

oh man this shit is deep.

she knows she's good at her job, she knows she's attractive. she's content in her life, and doesn't believe a person needs a partner to like "succeed" in life, (and this is about to get heavy oop). but there are days that she truly thinks she's unlovable. likely stems back to her childhood, and continues through her life as she never manages to lock down a solid relationship. so she's just come to terms with it over the years.

38. favourite holiday

my instinct was New Year's Eve. fancy parties, champagne, getting dressed up, fireworks. it seems the most up her alley. she frequented bigger parties when she first started working, but now she likes to host more intimate ones at her apartment (cause she obvi has a prime view of fireworks and like hell she's going to times square)

a close follow up is memorial day weekend or july 4th cause those are prime times to go out to the hampton's or on the yacht.

39. favourite game

.....i feel like SO many people would say chess for her but i think she fucking hates chess. OH GOD i can see her absolutely crushing it at poker and taking everyone's money...this is awakening things in me. yeah, poker definitely works.

40. favourite book

oh god...i have NO idea. i don't know enough books that aren't contemporary romance/modern shit or like, Freida thrillers lol. i do canon her as a lover for reading, a lover for romance, she has a HUGE book collection and while at least half of those ARE nonfiction, she prefers fiction to escape into at the end of the days. probably not a lot of fantasy, but definitely love stories.

The Writer Tag Game

Your favourite fic to write: I don't even really have to think about this. A Marriage of Convenience is my baby. It was my first fic (and trust me, you can tell just how rusty my writing was in the first few chapters), written on a whim in a moment of middle aged crisis to portray a healthy, idealized version of my dream relationship in asexual fashion. Now that I've gotten a better feel for how to 'show, not tell' and balance dialogue, I wish I could go back and rewrite portions of it, but I won't. This fic is an act of pure love and self-affirmation, and it will stand as it is.

A New Creed is a close second - that cast of characters has become my own little brain family, and I love them so much. Sadly, all good things must come to an end, and I'm dragging my feet on finishing the epilogue.

A fic you thought readers would love: My most conventional fic is Arms Wide Open, and I thought it would appeal to a broader audience. It did get a bit more activity on Tumblr than my other more niche ace-coded fics but not as much as I expected.

The fic they actually loved: I Love it All got the most notes I believe here on Tumblr. There was also a lot of unexpected love for my hastily written predictive fic Linked before the S3 finale. Notably, I feel that Linked is by far my best writing ever probably, which is funny because I wasn't at all invested in the actual content of it. I was just putting predictions together into a conceivable conclusion!

The fic you love the concept but hate writing: A Unique Bond - this fic was so important to me to write - a true, purely platonic partnership that turned out so much sweeter than I could imagine. BUT... engagement on this fic is like two people total... so it's hard to motivate myself to write this one. I will, though, because those two readers are wonderful.

The hardest fic you’ve written: A New Creed. This is my only fic with the whole cast of characters followed over a long time period, and I want to do it the justice it deserves (for its three wonderfully loyal readers).

Writing Trusted Friend has also been difficult - a little less personal to me but designed to be a bit of a challenge to broach the spicier material - in the end, I couldn't bring myself to write anything remotely explicit, though 😂, so a bit of a failure on that front, but the DinBo shippers are definitely enjoying it, anyway.

A fic you want to write but never do: I want to write a true friends-with-benefits fic, not friends to lovers, in the name of aromantic representation, and do it in a respectful way. I think Din is a perfect character for this. I've had something outlined for awhile, and I plan to write it after my current WIPs are wrapped up... so it'll be in probably...oh... 5 years or so? lol

I went through my camera roll for a tag post thing and found a picture of this quote which I think I took, like 4-6 years ago when I was reading Daisy Jones:

She had written something that felt like I could have written it, except I knew I couldn't have. I wouldn't have come up with something like that. Which is what we all want from art, isn't it? When someone pins down something that teels like it lives inside us? Takes a piece of your heart out and shows it to you? It's like they are introducing you to a part of yourself. And that's what Daisy did, with that song. At least for me. I could do nothing but praise her for it. I didn't change a single word.

While I love it generally because, yes!! that’s my favourite thing about art, I’ve realized now that it feels very specific to how I see your writing!!! It constantly feels like you’re taking vague thoughts or feelings in my head that I could have written (in theory) but never actually written the way you do, because it’s so decidedly yours!! 3. What was the first thing you decided on, the character's name, appearance, personality or their role in the story?

17. Are there any motifs or symbols associated with the character? How are they represented, in their design, personality or in some other way?

Personality was first. The main thing I had in mind was that she would radiate warmth and positivity, the kind of person that would make others feel comfortable immediately. Kind, spiritual, accepting and full of energy. Also a bit rough around the edges. She wouldn't be especially talented or experienced in very much at all but my god she'll try her best.

Being a very average small town girl kinda led me to think of her role in the story as either the reluctant WoL or - what ended up feeling more natural as I played - having imposter syndrome. "They have so much faith in me, when are they going to figure out they have the wrong person?" She wants to do so much good, but she thought she'd be grafting and/or making soups, not… This!?

So I guess the role in the story came last. Good luck piecing this all together btw, I just felt like determining the whole order XD.

After personality, appearance and name would have been in whatever order they appear in the character creator. Forethought? Never. Her design is quite plain, that was intentional. The two main features I was most specific about was her short hairstyle and athletic build. She'd be climbing and running and getting stuck into whatever was thrown at her, she was not booby - that slider went right the way down. I chose Highlander for her race, as the stance just felt like it matched her personality somehow?

The name Indie I just liked the sound of. It felt right for her personality and her newly created look. Did I bother to look up race naming conventions? No. The "von" part of her surname I thought could easily be ignored or picked up for something interesting at some point LOL. I was WINGING IT the entire time. I could've researched, but I did not. To think it was so very nearly "van" and that would've been a whole different ball game.

Are there any motifs or symbols associated with her?

I'm not going to completely cop out here, but I did fully intend the sun to be a motif from the start. I have no excuses since you, my dearest asking friend, did kindly share your FFXIV adventures with me before I started playing so I knew (albeit subconsciously at character creation stages because I have a terrible memory) that this particular symbol would be handed to us by the game itself eventually (I was still shocked and delighted when it happened though XD). Indie is sun-coded.

But on a similar note, sunflowers…?

There was a reason I chose the Sunflower corsage for Indie's wedding - it was a way for her to remember and include her parents on the day. Sunflowers are pretty hardy fellas, so it's totally plausible they would have been grown on her parents' farm, and my favourite thing about this is Indie would have been the only one tall enough to harvest them easily - they would have been her responsibility XD. I can hear mama and papa Smol calling her their "sunflower".

Sunflowers are associated with positivity, unwavering loyalty and dedication, and resilience. So, they're are a link to her childhood, her parents, and a reminder to stay strong.

I haven't written much for Adam but it's so FUN EXPLORING HIS MINDSETS AND CHARACTER, and I'm especially proud of this paragraph here, I need to clean it up a bit but RARARA

I'm definitely planning on writing more for the heaven folks too, especially with their mindsets, the line between what is considered good and bad, on one side they think what they are doing is good but the reality it's not, and I definitely have some stuff in mind regarding Charlie and Emily, maybe Sera too, because none of them, despite interacting with Sinners and winners, they've never actually been human, and I don't know if Lute is heavenborn or not but depending which prospective I wanna write her with AAAA, I actually have a fic idea involving her with her spouse and I don't know what the plot is but I do have the readers halo shattering, and it progresses throughout the fic, just it starts with a few cracks here and there before shattering >:]

With felt and flesh, I uh, may have gotten VERY CARRIED AWAY, It's for this one request with a Muppet reader and I would like to state that I cried while writing, and I'm still not done with it because I decided to add more to it, but the reader deals with lost of their identity, and especially being used as a puppet, and going from being flesh and blood to, felt and being an actual Muppet, it does have a happy/bittersweet??? Ending though!

WITH SHADY AAAA, another song fic, I heard this song from the great Gatsby musical and my brain IMMEDIATELY went "OVERLORD HUSK." I think I screamed about it in my discord server??

I checked and I very briefly mentioned it, then got distracted by Panini's

Ages ago I used to write for FNAF security breach, I had a whole fic with OCS, most of them have ironically been recycled, my OCs Cleo and Ezra specifically have become hazbin OCS, one also became one of my Sona/self insert oc's sisters :]

pspspsps I have not played BG3 but I’d listen to you get on the soapbox about Astarion and Gale and Lae’zel. :] I love the vampire…twink(?) and hearing good things about that Gale guy and the frog(?) lady who makes my gender kinda start buzzing like a cicada <3

THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN, AND HOW NOW SO SHALL I.

Seriously though, thanks for giving me an excuse to yap. As much as I am an enjoyer of fandom shipping, I am also a friendmaxxing visitorpilled individual and while I'm a strong proponent of pretty much every Baldur's Gate 3 Origin character being friends to some degree, I have my favourites, and Lae'zel, Gale, and Astarion are a trio I find particularly compelling. Maybe just because my first playthrough I exclusively travelled with them and loved their shared dialogue. So! THE DYNAMIC (as I see it.)

This is gonna be a long post. Oops.

Gale + Astarion

The one that I like equally as a romantic and platonic venture. I'm gonna be real, I tend to like these two as an actual romantic pairing- but that's irrelevant here. I've been over the lighter reasons why I think they'd be the ultimate pompous wine aunts of the group before, but there's a bit more to it than that.

Asides from shared aesthetic and literary interests, when I say I think they like each other in a surprisingly uncomplicated way despite their personal complexities, I truly do mean it that way. I feel that Gale is the type of person Astarion could truly come to cherish as a friend, once he's in a better place personally. He's startlingly authentic, giving Astarion a space to be as well, should he wish, rather than keep up his entirely charming facade- kind to others while also being... morally flexible enough to pique Astarion's interest and to avoid making him feel like he's being monitored by someone TOO well-intentioned (because I love Astarion, but he IS a bit of a bastard and will be forever, I reckon). On Gale's front, I genuinely think a part of him would feel incredibly vindicated by having a friend in Astarion- someone who would unabashedly encourage his ambitions and wilder interests (but whom I believe would still have his best interests vaguely at heart). Obviously that can take a darker turn under some scenarios- but I like to think that Astarion's playfulness and willingness to embrace his curiosity and passion about the stranger and more... reckless side of his work could be freeing to him. Like having that one friend that finally listens to you when you say "hear me out" and only intervenes if it's a TRULY bad take. Someone he can actually be mischevious with- because Gale IS a bit of a little shit himself, when he's given the freedom to be without guilt.

Gale + Lae'zel

This is the unusual friendship that I go the hardest about. I am so normal about them and what they could mean to each other. Lae'zel is incredibly dismissive of Gale initially, as she is with most of the others- but she's incredibly soft towards him by gith standards starting from the moment he demonstrates genuine respect and curiosity towards her and her people. Assessing his physical combat skills as less-than-deal shortly after meeting him, she even goes so far as to offer to *literally* train him in gith combat tactics shortly into your journey. That is not an offer I think Lae'zel makes lightly, or out of pragmatism alone. Is it because she sees him as weak? Yes. But it's also because she sees him as capable enough to become stronger, and worth training so that he is no LONGER weak. Most githyanki would not do that for another, especially one they had not met. Lae'zel is incredibly kind and giving to the others from the get-go no matter what anyone says about her "attitude"- putting her life and the code of ethics she lives by on the ropes to help a bunch of outsiders from the very start- but she is especially so to him, someone which many of her people may have outright discarded as useless.

From there, she starts to answer some of his questions. I like to think he talks to her about Faerun in turn for every question he asks- recognizing that the earth is as alien to her as she is to it. That's a good start for any friendship, really- mutual curiosity.

And then it gets stronger, as their personal struggles are revealed. The moment Lae'zel begins to waver in her faith and her dedication to Vlaakith is right around the same moment she hotly declares Mystra a fool for "demanding that Gale place all her faith in her and giving him none in return". She defends him against a literal god, declaring him capable and part of a mighty group- a stunning turn from her initial assessment. She balks at the idea of sacrificing him when she believes so firmly that it's an unnecessary waste of a skilled man. Possibly one she now considers a friend.

They are, in many ways, similar. Groomed in different senses by gods/god-like powers that only sought to milk them for all they were worth and then discard them when convenient. Manipulators of a celestial variety- the type of people who leave you with the realization that your entire life has been wasted serving them. Both of them were even wanted for their power- Laezel for her unwavering loyalty and militant prowess, Gale for his magical ability.

So, TLDR: They have, from the beginning, connected to each other via mutual understanding. They go through shocking life changes together and find solace in finding understanding in someone whose struggle initially seemed so alien to the other. From there, I feel like they'd genuinely find more casual things to bond over as Lae'zel discovers her enjoyment of Faerun and its wonders. No one would go ham over having a friend newly excited to learn about the world than Gale "could talk at length about anything" Dekarios.

Astarion + Lae'zel

This doesn't seem right at first, right? Poncey (lovingly) vampire meets unwaveringly stoic alien warrior. Except there's something ruthless and downright STURDY about Astarion that I can see Lae'zel quietly appreciating from the beginning. She can tell that he's willing to go the distance- even if they butt heads over her revulsion concerning the tadpoles and Astarion's attempts to wheedle the group into using them for their own gain. I feel like respect is shockingly easily earned for him on her front. In turn, I feel like Astarion is quite wary of her first- but honestly? He might be vaguely assuaded by the fact that Gale, arguably the most vulnerable of them all, just seemingly wanders around chatting with her intermittently without losing any limbs or being verbally abused. He also definitely clocks right off the bat in that scheming way of his that she'd be an incredibly helpful ally to have.

Except she's not easily seduced, or swayed by charm and friendly platitudes. Instead, I think the thing Lae'zel would silently begin to appreciate about him first is the subtle ways he shows interest in the world around him- his dialogue about not remembering how much colour there was in the world, and the like. As someone who's learning to love her new surroundings bit by bit, I can see her sympathizing with his newfound adoration of the daylight and outdoors he was deprived of for so long.

Later, she wholeheartedly supports Astarion's campaign to be rid of Cazador, and he even gleefully states "good for her" when she decides to turn her back on Vlaakith- so I reckon they're another check on the front of "friends bonding over overthrowing those who have been unrighteously in charge of them for so long". The circumstances are highly different, but the sentiment is shared: fuck that guy, I won't be their puppet anymore.

Finally, in the ending where Lae'zel chooses to stay on Faerun and forge her own fate exploring a new world, I can see her and Astarion working together- both enjoying their newfound freedom from cause and control and absorbing all the joys of a *functionally* new world for the both of them. With the aid of their far more local wizard friend who's less prone to the battlefield, of course. I can see them teaming up for a glorious adventure or two easily. Battle buddies, and the like.

Please note that all these fics come back to one thing: Shinichi/Conan is involved, as he tends to be my main focus (also I'm a huge Found Family trope lover, as you might be able to tell from some of these recs). warm soup on a frigid night: Detective Boys centric, my heart melted gosh.

Once and For All: another Detective Boys centric fic, I'M SCREAMING thEY ARE SO PRECIOUS.

A Friend In Need: Kaitou KID centric, really love how organic this fic is, both from KID's and Shinichi's POV.

You Have an Hour: Sonoko's POV and an extremely funny and relatable fic.

You're okay, you're safe: oh, my beloved Sakura Trio, also from Sonoko's POV which I adore, and Sonoko's feelings in this... I feel her.

Switched: KID centric, FREAKING BODY SWAP, and so well written too, very fun read.

Guide you home: I love the Guide/Sentinel universe so much, this has romantic KaiAo, Heizuha, ShinRan, and lots of other platonic combinations, this is also a case fic and emotional.

Identity: One of my favourite scenarios, OCCHAN AND RAN BEING AWARE FROM THE BEGINNING, MY HEART-

Code Red: KOGOROU CENTRIC, let him shine!

The Cloning Secret: do you want to read something absolutely heart-wrenching, disturbing, yet absolutely brilliant? Go no further. We warned: this is a work in progress.

Misconceptions, Illusions, and Lies (and Other Forms of Fair Play): I absolutely adore this fic, the idea of Ran and KID working together, also bonus points for different POVs, also a work in progress.

Shenanigans in Beika: one of my ultimate favourite fic series, off all time, the interactions in this are just way too charming and precious and dear. Also a work in progress.

until the flowers bloom again: same author (yes, one of my favourite authors, sue me) as Shenanigans in Beika, involves the Detective Boys and ShinRan, and my heart just... gosh, this fic is so precious.

Hidden Epidemic: I love the first part the most, but this as a whole has a lot of headcanons incorporated into it that I love to bits. Lots of POV changes, and so many characters (Detective Boys, Heiji, Kazuha, KID, Ran and so on)

pet: super short, but also SUPER CUTE, absolutely in love with the idea of Ai having a cat. (one of my favourite authors for the fandom)

(the space between) where you smile and hide: one of the very few and precious Kazuha POV fics, especially her thinking about Shinichi. (also one of my favourite authors, and if you like one Hattori Heiji, I highly rec holly's other fics too)

Observations: my ultimate favourite fic involving Takagi Wataru, part of it is from his POV too, and it has so many great things about it. (VERMOUTH!!! Also Heiji and Satou working together! And most importantly: Takagi finally getting an answer to his Question.)

All Night Gang: I ADORE THIS FIC SO SO SO MUCH, THE FACT THAT KAZUHA AND RAN GET TO FINALLY KNOW. Also the adorable chatting in the first part. All the different POVs later on. And all the FEELINGS AND HEADCANONS AND THE THING THIS FIXES ABOUT CANON FOR ME. I'M so grateful for the existence of this fic.

Nothing To Lose: Detective Boys, PRECIOUS CHILDREN, they just miss their friend, this fic made me so emotional, dammit. SHINICHI YOU FCKIN IDIOT-

Family of the heart: God. This fic. THIS FIC. I LOVE PARENTAL MOURI KOGOROU WITH A PASSION.

never were and not anymore: this series? Damn. The shapeshifter concept in it is MARVELOUS AND MASTERFUL. The way it got merged into the universe, and how it changed events. Also THE RELATIONSHIPS IN THIS KILL ME in the best way.

Scion: I absolutely adore this author, and this is one of my ultimate favourite fics involving Shinichi and KID. The supernatural element is so exquisitely fitting into the universe, and how Shinichi's feelings are so complex, and the teamwork... just. Everything about this fic pulls at my heartstrings.

As for personal headcanons for Shinichi/Conan, here is a few:

Shinichi/Conan is neurodivergent as fck. I personally like to think he is on the autism spectrum, but I'm very flexible on the exact nature. One thing for sure: he is not neurotypical. At. All.

HE'S A CERTIFIED PENCIL BITER YOUR HONOUR!!! (IT'S NOT EVEN A HEADCANON AT THIS POINT- *GETS HIT*)

No one can tell me, No One, that after all these traumatic experiences this child doesn't experience panic attacks or PTSD.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE STOPPED PLAYING SOCCER, HE LOVES SOCCER!! (The kids are totally the reason he got more involved in soccer again, YOU HEAR ME-)

Well written! I enjoy rehabbing Winter Soldier fic that plays with identity and trauma and braindamage. Developing a personhood and place in the world that is distinct from but informed by his past as both the Soldier and as Bucky. I am currently halfway through the latest chapter, cause I got distracted a few hours ago.

Coffee or Tea: TEEEEAAAA!!!! TEA TEA TEA TEA TEA! Currently taste preference is Cardamom. Black current, Honeybush orange, Ginger lime, Regular black, Sleepytime, Bengal spice, Earl Grey Grove, Peppermint <3333 All so so good. Unfortunately not as good as before we moved though. Our water here is not nearly as tasty as the well water back at the old house. RIP the best tea ever.

Sweet/Savoury/Spicy: Hard to choose between savoury and spicy, I'm not gonna lie. They are both cornerstones of a balanced mental state.

Relationship Status: Single aro/ace LF friends, life partners. Not that I'm doing much "LF", but if a significant other or 3 would just fall into my lap I would much appreciate.

Looking Forward To: Mmmm..... sibling birthday? mine birthday? Maybe get some sales now that I have some stickers and prints up at a local artisan boutique? Silksong? Eh, not much.

Current Obsessions: perennial is homestuck and xeno and art. Been reading a bunch of Danny Phantom and DP crossovers lately, which is interesting as a recent auditor of the fandom.

Last Googled: DuckDuckGo more like. Uh,,, heck if I know. Probably an autohotkey question. Actually, that should probably go under the obsessions too. Am trying to do many things, code-wise there. And get a good setup for my key layouts for clip studio and blender. I've got a couple of external keyboards and there are just so many options that it's hard to know where to start, y'know? My brain wants to and also hates doing charts.

Last thing ate and enjoyed: I love food and flavour, so this is a bit hard. IDK about last thing, but what springs to mind is the sriracha burgers we had recently.

Currently Working On: lol another dozen things. Uhm, Autohotkey script to fix tabs that haven't loaded right wrt different extensions. Trying to move to Firefox from chrome after the latest extension decimation, but it's not going the Greatest. Chugging along audibly with my many many tabs. Couple of chibis decently in progress, one for Onibaba (Pacific Rim was the original inspo for my chibi series but I didn't know how to do chibis then and was intimidated by the complexity and how much I liked the designs, so I sidetracked into Monster Hunter and then Pokemon and misc fandom stuff) and another for Baron/Balloon (My Daemon is a weird show. Protagonist daemon is the least cute of the lot imo, despite MC's insistance that she's the cutest. Baron is much cuter 🎈)

Slowly pecking at my ongoing Separation fic (Venom); I think I'm almost done this section. Working on [REDACTED] for @arbitrarity's b-day. Gotta start a thing for @glassesblu, too.
