every new bts information that pops up just reaffirms so many of my fears regarding the story and planning of qsmp's story being poorly thought through with little regard for the greater plot that's being built-up to, whatever that even is at this point... but it also makes me feel so much better about everything being on pause (well... mostly paused)- with the way things were going I fear the story would've completely crashed and burned at some point with all the poorly thought through last minute pivots and changes... how the hell were the cc's and roleplay admins suppose to work with all these changes and empty plot-twists that only exist for shock value and ultimately meant nothing- how much time did we waste theorizing over things that don't mean anything and never mattered... we never wanted to be shocked with constant new curve-balls we just wanted a good, consistent, solid story that makes sense. I don't see anything we could've gotten from Pomme being unfairly killed off but view-bait at the cost of angry fans and cc's and then when they couldn't they decide to just replace her with some random other egg from out of nowhere??? It's so baffling... I feel for the people on the project who just wanted to tell a fun story being screwed over by these absurd writing choices over and over.

I’ve been saying it since last fall, but the writer’s room NEEDED people with ttrpg or larping experience in there because dms/gms KNOW how to run a painful story while still being mindful of the players and their experiences in the story

But also now we know why Quackity spent an entire year saying “This is just the beginning of the story, there’s so much more to come”. It’s because there wasn’t an ending planned! Or a middle! It was all the beginning because nothing ever got concluded or built upon! Oh my god!!

One of my favorite things about the ASL Brothers is the fact that Ace was the one brought out the sake and proposed becoming brothers.

Not Luffy or Sabo but Ace.

Ace, who believes he is unlovable, Ace who believes that his blood is dirty, Ace who believes that he didn’t deserve to be born, Ace who thinks that his life is worthless, Ace who believes that his mere existence is a crime.

And yet Ace saw these two boys and approached them without apprehension or fear of rejection even though he was proposing something as irrevocable, something as bonding as brotherhood
