Unexpected

Request from @oldfashiondisturb : The reader is Samuel's sister, and best friend with Nadia, but in love with Guzman since the start of the year. She tries to forget him with Valerio, but some boy aka Guzman is jealous, even if it wasn't planned like this for him, he is the first surprise but he has to do something ? :O

This studying has grown boring almost an hour ago as you flicked relentlessly through pages to keep up with the subject. You, your brother Samuel, and Nadia did this regularly whenever there were exams. It always got dull for you a lot quicker than it did for them but you continued nonetheless. If you actually wanted to pass the year at Las Encinas, you’d have to put up with it.

“Can we take a break?” You groan, tossing your pen down onto the table, “There’s only so much I can do.”

“The test is tomorrow (Y/n)!” Nadia laughs, turning the page in her book and answering the next question with ease.

You run a hand through your hair, “It’s boring! And you know you’ll pass anyway Nadia.”

“She’s just taking Guzman’s influence, right (Y/n)?” Your brother nudges you, a smirk playing on his lips.

You glare at him and try to stop the blush from tainting your cheeks, “We said we wouldn’t talk about that anymore.”

“What? Your obsessive crush on the most annoying boy in our class?”

You hit your brothers arm and stand up from the table, “He’s not that bad. And I’m over it.”

Nadia and Samu share a knowing look and laugh at each other.

“I hate both of you.”

They had a habit of doing this. Ever since you’d first confessed that you might like Guzmán, they’d been set on making little comments to wind you up. Actually, it was Samuel that made the comments and Nadia that laughed at them. Really, she felt quite sympathetic toward you. But they were right - you hadn’t really got over it.

The test going badly was most definitely an understatement. Maybe you should’ve revised more last night - you could see Nadia inputting answers like she’d been programmed to ace it from the start. You on the other hand? You’d come down to the pool instead to distract yourself.

“Was it really that bad?” It’s Guzmán that questions you as you finish another length of the pool.

You glance up and watch as he walks down the side, eying you for the entire time.

“Wasn’t it for you?” You push yourself up and shift round so you’re sat at the poolside, legs dangling into the water.

He scoffs, “Tests here are always bad for me.”

You smirk a little and run your hands over your slicked hair from the water, setting your goggles onto the surface beside you.

“Lucky for me, I’m a good swimmer,” Guzmán cocks a brow, “I can’t say the same for you.”

“Well, thanks,” You roll your eyes.

You’d grown tired of questioning why you continued to have a crush on this boy. The majority of your conversation with him, which generally only happened at the pool when it was only the two of you, would consist mainly of him mocking you. Other than that? You’d practically be invisible to him around school. He was surrounded by his group and Lu. And you were just Samuel’s sister.

“Don’t wallow in your own self pity, please?” He says as he gears up to start training, “You’ll distract me. And you can’t be that bad.”

It shouldn’t make you blush and you hate yourself for giving into it. But there you were, thankful as he jumped into the water so he wouldn’t see your cheeks turn a burning shade of red.

“Nadia!” You grin as she walks up toward you and Samuel, always managing to look completely different when she was out of her school uniform.

“Hey!” She smiles, hugging you quickly in greeting, “Sorry I’m a bit late.”

You were all at the club tonight for another party, though they generally consisted of you three sticking with each other - Omar joining you whenever he could.

“It’s not like you were missing much,” Samuel rolls his eyes, glancing around at the growing crowd, “Who’s that?”

All three of you turn towards the boy that had just arrived. He had an appearance that you could already tell would match perfectly in tune with his loud personality. The bold curls on his head, the open arms like he was introducing himself to the world, the bright print on his shirt.

“Lu’s brother,” Guzmán comments as he walks past, heading over to the boy who greets him with a brotherly hug.

You knew Guzmán had probably only gone over because Lu followed behind the boy but you brushed it off quickly. The other boy seemed intriguing but certainly not somebody you’d usually concern yourself with. He seemed far too arrogant, too certain that he would never find anyone as good as himself. But his grin and his carefree attitude seem oddly interesting.

“So if you take this,” Nadia points to a number on your page that you couldn’t even work out how you’d got to, “And divide it by this... I’ve lost you again?”

You sigh and put your face in your hands, “It’s like I’ve never even learnt it.”

She smiles and tries her best to remain patient, “Thats okay, we can go again if you need to.”

“Is there room for one more in this class?” You don’t recognise the voice as somebody you know but it’s distinctive already - it would only match the new boy.

“You’ll probably be better than I am,” You mutter half to yourself, staring at the page of maths like it would make anymore sense.

“Oh, darling,” He laughs, sitting down in the seat beside you and throwing an arm over your shoulder, “I think you’ve just given yourself a challenge.”

The three of you spend the rest of the period trying to get through this topic before the bell sounds and Nadia packs up for her next lesson.

“I never caught your name,” The boy points out, “I’m Valerio.”

“Valerio,” You repeat, “I’m (Y/n), Samuel’s sister.”

“I don’t care for the family history, you interest me enough on your own.”

And just like that, he seemed a little more intriguing.

“No seriously Valerio!” You squeal as he lifts you up with ease, spinning you around, “We need to-“

Your laughter soon stops any words from escaping you as he throws you down onto the couch.

“We need to what?” He cocks a brow, hovering above you as he falls closer to your face.

“You’re a distraction,” You comment, referencing the fact that you’d originally come to his house with the intention of studying. Just as you had done the day before, and the day before that.

“(Y/n), you’ve been distracting me since day one.” He mumbles, leaning closer to you as his hands trail up your sides.

Things with him felt exciting. He was living in a whole different realm to what you were used to. He didn’t mock you, didn’t make you nervous - he made you distracted (in more ways than one). You weren’t certain of any feelings for him, any possibility, but he was interesting. And he seemed like a good person beyond this exterior. Though it seemed like neither of you were too fussed about what lay beyond surface level.

He dips down and is just about to kiss you when the door unlocks.

“Valerio!” It’s Lu’s voice.

You watch as he rolls his eyes and presses up to kneel on the couch, “You’re home early.”

“We finished dinner early,” She responds quickly, “I thought you were meant to be studying.”

We. She wasn’t alone.

You push yourself up so you’re now visible to the pair that stood at the door - Lu and Guzmán. Somehow, you and Guzmán make eye contact for a moment and it seems to linger for more than that - like you’re trying to read any expression that crosses his face. But, to your own disappointment, it doesn’t seem like there’s anything.

“With the García?” Lu scoffs, “Come on Valerio, seriously?”

“Lu!”

It’s Guzmán. With an oddly warning tone to his voice.

“I should go,” You say quickly, fumbling to get off from the sofa and grab your jacket.

“Hey, hey, no,” Valerio stops you, standing up beside you and throwing an arm over you, “Is there a problem, Lu?”

She looks between the two of you and tuts, “It won’t last, darling.”

But all you can do is keep your eyes focused on the boy beside her. The boy who now refused to look in your direction. And who oddly seemed to have a completely different energy to him now.

When you walk in for swim training the next morning, your heart sinks like a lead balloon at the sight of who was just swimming perpendicular to where you walked. Who else would it possibly be?

Guzmán finishes his length and glances up to check the clock, smirking before he turns toward the door. He knew this was the time you always got here in the mornings. Every single time - practically to the exact minute.

“I’m surprised you’re not busy with your new boyfriend,” He calls, not bothering to make any actual effort to look at you properly.

“Shut up Guzmán,” You roll your eyes, setting your towel down on the bench. Maybe he hadnt changed as you’d thought. This still seemed relatively typical.

“What’s he got you doing now? Trying out his latest drug mix? Who can drink the most before they pass out?” He lists, face growing colder and more stern as he speaks.

You don’t respond. Why had you assumed he’d react any differently? You were nothing more to him than somebody to mock, to taunt, to treat as separate from him because you hadn’t grown up like the rest.

“You should be careful with him, (Y/n),” Guzmán says simply, “He’s not like you.”

For the first part of that, he’d impressed you. He’d made it actually sound like he gave a damn. But the second part struck you right back home.

“Not like me?” You scoff, tugging your goggles over your head and hanging them around your neck, “You mean he didnt grow up in a two bedroom flat with three brothers? Or he isn’t only at the school because of a lucky break?”

Guzmán remains silent, his cheeks heating with a tint of red. You take it as just a consequence from fatiguing after swimming.

“Thanks Guzmán but I can take care of myself. That’s what us poor ones do, isn’t it?”

Before he can say anything more, you dive into the water and thank the pool for creating a barrier between the two of you. He’d stay in his lane and you’d stay in yours - literally and metaphorically.

“Hello beautiful people!” Valerio calls as he walks proudly across the floor towards you and Samuel.

Him and Lu were hosting a party at theirs tonight. It was for some particular reason that you hadn’t paid attention to when Valerio first invited you, but you’d been thankful for the opportunity to avoid some more studying. Things with him had been nothing more than the two of you just having fun to put it simply. It was pretty apparent that you didn’t have feelings for each other. But also apparent that there were other reasons why you needed the distraction. You didn’t care to explain your reasoning to him, and you never pried enough as to find out why he did. For now, you were comfortable with using this to keep your mind off Guzmán. Although maybe it hadn’t been exactly successful in that field yet.

You could tell from his breath as his arm fell around your waist that Valerio had already been drinking enough as it was. You weren’t big on drinking - always growing up fearing when your father would come home drunk. And drugs were a whole different story, with similar reasoning to the first.

“Can I get you guys a drink?” He suggests, swaying into you as he waves his arm at Samuel too.

“I’m fine, thank you,” He shakes his head, stuffing his hands into his pockets.

You’re relieved when Ander and Omar make their way over - hoping they’d at least distract Samuel a bit. He was in no way approving of you spending any time with Valerio, he’d made that very clear. And he’d encouraged you that Nano wouldn’t have let you anywhere near him if he was here.

He turns you to him and holds both arms on your hips, “You look hot tonight.”

You roll your eyes and try to brush him off, “And after how many drinks are you saying that?”

He smirks and leans down to you, lips grazing your ear, “How about I get you up to my level?”

He moves one hand away from you and reaches into his back pocket, pulling out a small clear packet that would be recognisable to anyone. Even the sight of it pools a sickening feeling in your stomach. You’d had far too many sleepless nights on the end of your bed with your brothers, listening to your father’s yelling, smashing, hitting - all as a consequence of the drink and the ‘little white powder’.

“No, no, definitely not,” You try to push him away, hoping he’d be sober enough to get the message and forget it.

“Come on, you’ll love the feeling,” He encourages, waving the packer closer to you like he was taunting a child with a toy.

You try to push away from him again, “Valerio, no.”

Before he can say anything more, there’s somebody between the two of you. They have their back to you and their face close enough to Valerio to instantly intimidate. Originally, you’d assumed it to be your twin brother - expecting Samuel to have the same reaction to the drugs as you had. But the frame is too tall to be Samuel, towering above you. And those broad shoulders can only be owned by one boy.

“Leave her alone, Valerio,” Guzmán’s tone is calm but icy, warning but not stepping above the line.

“Come on!” Valerio chuckles, “It’s a party!”

“I won’t ask you again, man. She told you no, now go take your fucking drugs somewhere else,” He speaks through his teeth, getting closer and closer to Valerio until he grips onto the lapels of his jacket and shoved him away from both of you.

Valerio stumbles just as his sister approaches the outbreak.

“Is there a problem?” She asks with a tone that she’s trying to keep positive.

“Ask your boyfriend, if you can even call him that anymore,” Valerio smirks, swiping a bottle from the table as he pushes through the crowd of people.

Lu looks between you and Guzmán before turning around to follow in the footsteps of her half brother. It’s only then that Guzmán focuses any of his attention on you.

“Are you okay?” He asks, eyes looking between each of yours.

He’s closer to you than he has been before and you take in the scent of his cologne on his torso. Not noticing his height above you until your eyes were in line with his heart.

“Yeah, yeah, I’m fine, thank you,” You fumble, glancing around at the people who were now solely focused on watching what had just unfolded.

He follows your line of sight and smirks, “They’ll always find a reason to watch.”

Your heart is pounding and your vision trying to keep its focus on his face but he’s gone quickly. He takes off into the party where he blended in so easily and you’re stuck once again with that weird, unsettling excitement he always managed to cause.

The next morning, you arrive to the pool before Guzmán gets there and you feel your excited heart fail for just a second. Why should you expect anything to come from last night? You’d spent this entire school year expecting something to come from every moment you shared with Guzmán. Why would that party have changed anything?

You set your towel down on the side, hold your goggles in one hand, stretch out a little, and prepare to start your training for the day. But you’re interrupted as the door swings open.

In he walks. Torso and legs exposed as he’s covered by the smallest level of material, hair damp from showering and small beads of water trickling down past his pecks.

“Good morning,” He nods, setting his towel down beside yours as he walks straight past you.

“Morning,” You say, following his path with your gaze.

Here goes nothing.

“I just wanted to say thank you for last night,” You begin, keeping your eyes now focused on the tiled floor beneath you.

“You don’t need to thank me,” He says, tone short and a little abrupt.

“I know, but you really didn’t have to do anything and I-“ You fiddle with the strap of your goggles to try to give yourself anything as a distraction, “I don’t know, I just wanted to-“

“It’s fine, (Y/n),” Guzmán smiles quickly, “But I told you he wasn’t good for you.”

“I know,” You nod, “Nothing was ever going to happen between us though.”

“Have you ever had a boyfriend, (Y/n)?” Guzmán interjects and it instantly surprises you that he takes any interest in your life.

You glance up and swallow the lump in your throat, “No.”

He smirks a little, “I didn’t think so.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“See,” He starts walking closer to you, “I convinced myself that last night I was just helping you out, and I would’ve done it to anybody that Valerio had been pestering. But then I realised that all I seemed to focus on for the rest of the night was you - if I’d seen you wear that outfit before, what drink you had in your hand, how many times you made a joke to your brother. I kept focusing on you and I hated it because I couldn’t understand why.”

You’re frozen still as he speaks, now with only one stride between you and him.

“And then it hit me. It was you. The try-hard, innocent, never been kissed, García Domínguez that I’d never really paid much thought to,” He shrugs, “I’ve got Lu pining over every move I make and the only girl I could think about, was you.”

You can’t tell whether to be annoyed at his description of you or utterly dumbfounded by the fact that he’d just confessed this so quickly.

“And that’s why I’ve been showing up to swim on time every morning, why I’ve been checking with Valerio to see if anything’s happened with you, why I keep listening out for anything you say,” He scoffs, “Because, somehow, I’ve fallen for Samuel’s sister.”

He falls silent and looks down at his feet for a moment before speaking again.

“I don’t think I can go to another party where I have to watch you with him, or turn up to Lu’s and expect to see you there too. I don’t want that.”

“Guzmán I-“

“I’ve been a dick to you, a complete and utter dick. But I swear to you I wouldn’t have done any of that if I’d have known how I felt sooner.”

You let out a laugh at that, “Well, thanks.”

“Though,” He takes a half-step toward you, “You are still failing class and a pretty shitty swimmer.”

“And you’re still trying to convince yourself that you’re not as shit as me,” You defend, finally making eye contact with those piercing orbs.

“Well, that’s it, you’ve had my confession,” He finishes, “Shall we swim?”

Lost in His Eyes | Hwang Minhyun

requested: no format: in paragraphs characters: hwang minhyun x reader word count: 3.2k genre: angst author’s note: my first wanna one post for this month! i’ve been wanting to write for minhyun and i’ve been planning and sorting out my ideas for this scenario even during my exams but only finished it during the beginning of this week. i hope you’ll like it and let me know what you think! feedbacks are greatly appreciated and motivates me to write more and better. thank you ♡

Minhyun… you met him at your friend’s house party, Jisung’s. The moment you laid your eyes on him, you knew that you wanted to get to know him. His dark brown eyes felt like it captivated a part of you when he made eye-contact. Something about his innocent, pure eyes made you slightly tremble, your heart rate increasing, and palms sweating.

It took over a month for the both of you to get to know each other fairly well. After he saw your skills by the way you fixed up Jisung’s house for the party, he asked you if you could help him with his since it would be his first one.

Who were you to say no? Who were you to reject his pleading eyes that stared deeply into yours? You said yes with no hesitation at all.

He mentioned that his party will not happen until two or three more months, a party to celebrate the ending of the first term but he just wanted to let you know early about it so you can plan ahead, way ahead.

During two to three months before the party, you both didn’t waste any time. For the first month, Minhyun would always ask you out for a quick coffee at the nearest shop by your campus to talk about the upcoming party.

It made you smile, just witnessing how nervous he was but at the same time, you could tell that he was too excited for it.

You would spend your time together at the cafe just talking about all of the things that can happen at the party. For the first month, meeting each other at the coffee shop has been a routine right after your last lecture in the afternoon.

Sitting down, ordering a drink and laying out both of your ideas. It was fun, you weren’t even able to do this with Jisung’s. Jisung made you do your thing, he left everything up to you and all he did was buy the materials that you needed.

But it was different with Minhyun, you were able to tell that he wanted to get involved with all the planning. It was only a house party yet he treated it as if it meant a lot to him. Maybe he wanted to prove your schoolmates that he wasn’t just a smart, quiet guy from his group of friends, maybe he wanted to show people that he can also have fun like his friends, maybe he wanted to show people the other side of him.

For the first month of your quick meetings, you were able to slowly get to know the other side of Minhyun. Yes, he was still quiet and shy, but he showed you a side of him that you barely saw at school. He was goofy, funny and it was pleasing to spend your time after school with him. You weren’t sure when, at what point did you start to feel some sort of connection with him. A deeper connection, you supposed.

You became really good friends with Minhyun and the coffee shop dates became more frequent than usual. The usual talks about that party’s plans became the topic that you started to least converse about. Your conversations became deeper, more personal. Sharing about your life experiences, stories, moments, and how your day went.

You both started texting each other every day, every night, which left you with 4 hours of sleep on average. You text messages contained with nothing but non-sense, something that only the two of you understood and sometimes, some late night deep talks. Messages that made you think twice about your relationship. It felt like you had something but at the same time, there was none.

Confused, was what you felt. Your feelings for him deepened each passing day and you didn’t know what to do with it. You didn’t know if he felt the same way or if he even felt anything at all.

Action speaks better than words, they say, you decided to go with that saying. Minhyun wasn’t the best on expressing himself through words so his actions meant something more to you, at least. Actions such as dropping you off in your class and even picking you up sometimes. It never failed to surprise you to see him leaning against the wall as he waited for you to come out of your class. HIs face lighting up when he sees you approaching him and once you do, he would slide his arm around your shoulder and rest it there. Your body tensing up because of the sudden contact.

During your coffee shop “dates”, you used to sit right across each other but he began to sit beside you, his face sneaking in beside yours to check what you were looking at on your laptop. You could feel him breathing on the side of your face and it would made all the hair in your body stand up.

After your coffee shop “dates”, he would offer you a ride home since its already dark outside. “Come on, I’ll drop you off home.” he offered as he picked up his books from the table and placed it in his backpack. You shook your head in refusal and he slightly pouted his lips upon hearing your rejection.

“I can’t let a girl like you walk home at this hour, its already dark. I’d hate myself if something bad happen to you.” he insisted, with another pleading eyes that you can’t find yourself saying no to, and so he ended up dropping you off that night and the next few nights after that. It always happened but one of the most recent ones caught you longing for more.

When you were about to step out of the car, Minhyun stepped out first and ran to your side to open the door for you. He walked you to the door of your apartment and kissed your forehead. When you felt his lips on your forehead, all you could think was, is this just a dream? Because if it was, then you wouldn’t want to wake up from it. He stepped back after his gesture to see your cheeks turning rosy pink, “I’ll head home now, I’ll see you tomorrow!” he smiled and turned his back.

You stood frozen in place but before he could get into his car, you managed to form a few words to say to him.

“Thank you again for dropping me off, text me when you get home. Goodnight!” You said in a louder tone of your voice so he can hear you clearly. Minhyun nodded and left. You received a text from him that night saying that he got home safely.

That night, you barely got any sleep, just from all the thinking and questions you had. Why did he kiss your forehead? What did that mean? What was your relationship? Was he aware of your feelings? Did he feel the same way? Questions that remained unanswered until the day of his party.

Time passed by so fast. Well, thats what they say, it flies by when you’re happy and you were, because of Minhyun. Months passed by and theres only one more week until his party. He came with you to buy the decorations and the materials to use, he also bought the drinks for the upcoming night. Minhyun was rich, he was popular and intelligent. He was kind and actually cared about his studies. He was good-looking too. In short, he did fit your ideal type, he was your ideal type. It wasn’t hard to fall for someone like him.

You began to start decorating three days before and Minhyun asked you to come over to his house. You hesitated to go since it will just be the two of you but he forced you to. With his pleading eyes that you can never resist, you said yes.

When you got there, it was quiet. You could feel your heart beating so fast and you were afraid that Minhyun might hear it. You pressed the doorbell and in just two seconds, you heard Minhyun rushing out of his house to open the door. He was wearing a plain white shirt and medium-washed jeans, and his hair was still air-drying from his shower, you assumed. “Welcome.. to my house.” He said shyly while looking at the ground trying to avoid eye-contact.

You smiled at him, “Can I come in?” you asked. Minhyun quickly nodded and gestured you to come inside as he locked the door behind you.

You laid out all the materials and the decorations that you will be using for the party and Minhyun just paid close attention to your movements then he suddenly remembered.

“Are you coming to my party?” he curiously asked as he lifted up the remaining bags from the floor to the table.

You looked at him, a little flustered, “Am I invited?”. You saw his eyes widen as if you just said something that completely swayed him. He slightly laughed, “Of course you are!” he exclaimed. You walked towards the living room to place some decorations on the coffee table. “I’ll see, I have a meeting that night with the student board but I’ll try to go after the meeting.” you chuckled and turned to look at him.

He frowned, a little bit, he looked a little.. disappointed. “Okay.” he sighed.

You finished your meeting with the student board early and it turned out that two of them were also headed to Minhyun’s party. You texted Minhyun before you leave the restaurant that you had your meeting at, “I’m on my way, I’ll see you soon.”

You checked your clock and it was almost midnight. You sighed, regretting the fact that you agreed to start the meeting at eight o’clock in the evening instead of six. If only you started early then you wouldn’t be so late at the party.

You grabbed the paper bag underneath your chair. You had brought a dress to wear to Minhyun’s and your make-up kit to touch up. You stood up from your seat and told the members of the board that you will just quickly change.

“You look fine already!”, one of your co-members joked. You laughed at her and just proceeded to go one of the restrooms.

It only took you about fifteen minutes to change and fix your make-up, making it a little bolder than how you would usually have it, a little bit more noticeable. You wanted to look nice, and different for tonight. You wore a black silk dress that flowed nicely over your body, it didn’t hug your curves but it caught attention just like how a fitted dress would. You were sure of that because as soon as you walked out of the restroom, your co-students’ mouths were parted and the other customers turned their heads at you, making your cheeks flush and heat up a bit.

You checked your phone and it has been twenty minutes since you texted Minhyun, and there was still no reply. It was odd, knowing him, he would reply as fast as he can. Maybe it was only because of the party, maybe he was drinking with his friends and didn’t bother checking his phone. You shrugged it off and headed to the car to go to Minhyun’s house.

Before you step out of the car, you could hear the people at the party screaming as if they were having the time of their lives, the loud music can probably be heard even from a few blocks away.

You entered his house to see a few people already passed out on the ground and on the couch. You scanned your eyes to check the decorations and you smiled to see most of them still intact despite the wild crowd.

You headed towards the dining area to see Jisung and his other friends sitting down, no sign of Minhyun though.

Jisung greeted you with a loud hello, you assumed he was drunk but he denied it. “Where’s Minhyun?” you finally asked.

Jisung giggled as he jokingly patted your shoulder, “Are you dating him...yet?”

You were stunned by his question but you honestly wanted to ask yourself the same thing. “What? No, why would you ask that?”

He just shrugged off your question and told you that Minhyun has been drunk. Incredibly and surprisingly drunk, he claimed. “Hes probably in his bedroom, he passed out pretty early, he drank too much.” Jisung added while laughing.

Without wasting any more second, you started to walk up the stairs to see where Minhyun was. There was a weird feeling in your stomach, it was undescribable. You were sort of nervous, but excited. It was a confusing feeling.

When you finally reached the second floor, you searched for his bedroom door. A few steps to the right, you finally found it. It was at the end of the hallway.

You knocked at his door, twice, but no one opened. You presumed that maybe he was just sleeping. You placed your warm hands around the doorknob and began to turn it. When you finally opened the door, you were welcomed by the moonlight coming from his window, it was enough light to spot where Minhyun was.

You looked around, your eyes shifting towards his bed and when you did, your heart dropped. You suddenly felt cold, numb. You clenched your fist and covered your parted lips with your other hand, your vision beginning to blur.

It was Minhyun and a girl laying on his bed. Beside each other. Pieces of clothing laid on his bedroom floor and Minhyun sleeping soundly while they were covered with his gray comforter.

You wanted to drop on your knees and let your tears fall freely. You wanted to let out your loudest cry but you had to hold it in to not wake them up. To not let them know about your presence. Minhyun moved from his position and turned to face whoever that girl was. He wrapped and rested his arm on her waist and dozed off to sleep again.

Trying to control your tears, you bit your lower lip and covered your mouth with your hand, and started to open the door behind you to walk out of his room.

As soon as you opened the door, you heard Minhyun call your name, but you were fast enough to get out of his sight.

You were clueless on how you got home from last night. You could remember all of the eyes on you when you walked down the stairs crying. Jisung even tried to ask you what happened but you ran out the door ignoring everyone, everything.

Your head ached a little bit, maybe because of all the crying from last night. You got home and took out the vodka that was in your cupboard and drank half of it by yourself, not even aware of the pain that it will bring you the next morning.

You could remember Minhyun trying to call your phone for god knows how many times, but you ignored it. The text messages that he had sent you were countless, but you didnt bother taking a look at any of them.

You felt numb from what you saw last night. You didn’t expect that Minhyun was the type of person who would sleep around with other girls. Well, people tend to surprise other people a lot and maybe this was yours.

Your phone rang from your side table. The ringing made your head hurt so you didn’t even pay attention on who was the caller.

“Hello?” you answered with your morning voice.

“Y/N..” he whispered.

From the sound of the voice, you already knew who it was. Minhyun.

Him saying your name sent shivers all over your, and you suddenly felt cold but your tears betrayed you and before you knew it, they were already flowing down your cheeks. Its funny how his voice had this much impact in you.

You slightly pulled the phone away so he wont hear your light sobbing. You were ready to end the call until, “I can explain.” he said, sounding more like he was trying to convince you to listen to his voice.

You let out a deep breath before speaking. “Theres nothing to explain, you don’t have to. I already know.” you sighed and tried to hold in the tears from falling again.

“But—“ he protested but you immediately cut him off, “Don’t worry about it. I’m okay. I’ll be fine. You don’t even owe me an apology or an explanation,” you fake laughed and paused, “We’re not dating, right? We’re just friends and you’re free to do anything that you desire to do and if that was one of them, then as a friend, I’ll wholeheartedly support you.” you lied, wholeheartedly? Really?

Minhyun sighed on the other line, “Y/N… Don’t do this, please.” he begged. You smiled, a bitter one, “Don’t do what?” you asked. You shook your head, “Nevermind, don’t answer that.”

You didn’t want him to say anything that will make you think otherwise. You just.. wanted to breathe and slowly let go of all the feelings that you have for him.

“I had a lot of questions, Minhyun. Last night, I wanted to ask you for answers. My stupid ass even wanted to confess to you because I thought that maybe, just maybe, you had some sort of feelings for me too.” you paused again, to catch your breath and to gather all the words that you wanted to say to him.

“But last night, I got my answers and you know whats funny?” you slightly chuckled as another drop of tear escaped your eye and decided to flow down your cheek, “I got my answers without even asking you, without needing you to answer any of them. Everything suddenly became clear to me.”

And with that, you didn’t even let Minhyun respond to what you said. You ended the call and as soon as you did, you broke down crying, again.

You took it in a positive way that he decided to call you about what happened, instead of meeting you in person to talk about it. With his soft, gentle, brown eyes, you didn’t know if you’d be able to resist it. It would have been fatal because every time he looked into your eyes, you felt weak and vulnerable, you were lost in them. If he looked into your eyes and pleaded again for you to listen to his explanation, you knew that without a blink of an eye, you would say yes, as always, not being able to resist.

You reflected on your questions and tried answering them by yourself based on what you witnessed last night.

Why did he kiss your forehead? What did that mean? He kissed your forehead because he wanted to and it didn’t mean anything to him. It was a friendly kiss, although you weren’t sure if friends usually did that. It obviously meant something deeper to you but clearly, none to him.

What was your relationship? You were friends. Thats it. Friends who had romantic feelings, well, just you. It was one-sided.

Was he aware of your feelings? Maybe, maybe not.

Did he feel the same way? No, most likely not. If he did, he wouldn’t be in bed with a girl, right? But he was.

Even though you weren’t happy with the answers to your questions, you were thankful that at least they were answered. Although, all you could do now was just hope that the answers that you received were the complete opposite from what you’ve gotten.

everyone was looking fine af in their attire

you sat the red carpet out

because getting dressed up was a hassle

so you arrived at 2sung’s apartment before any of the boys

opening the door, you gasp

sungwoon and jisung went all out decorating the place

the christmas tree stood stunningly in the corner, mistletoe hung in the most unsuspecting places, garlands hung from the walls and fairy lights gave the place a warm glow

Kacchako Fanfic: New Prey Chapter 23

Everyone in class 1-A finished their hero exams.

They were told to wait till tomorrow, to give the pros time to choose their potential hero candidates.

And so the students went to their down.

Now the waiting game started.

Doubt and pride were the feelings the students felt.

Some felt they could have done better and regret they can’t do anything else.

Some felt pride by their performances and is ready for the results to be shown.

They all decided to go to the common room and talk. Mainly to know each other’s plans after graduation.

Bakugou tried to go to his room but his crew stopped him.

“Would it kill you to break ice with your classmates man. ” Kirishima said.

“Like hell I care about the classes shitty futures.” Bakugou growled.

“Well I care! What agency would you want to work for?” Kirishima said.

“Why the hell would I know? The fucking results come out tomorrow dumbass! There is no use of hoping or wishing to get in an agency who isn’t interested in you. Stop the dreaming and fucking wait to find out who actually wants us. Then you fuckers can decide on your fucking futures.” Bakugou said.

He stomped his way to his dorm.

“Well thats good advice. It would suck if we plan where we want to work and not be selected. So in a way.. Bakugou is just looking after us… in his own way.” Kaminari said.

“Ahh sure in his own way I guess.” Deku said.

“Well am freaking out! I didn’t even get to finish my evaluation! The spectators ended it half way. Am so screwed!” Mineta cried.

No one was paying any attention to him. (LOL)

“I noticed how almost every ones test was different. Am glad they chose to test us based on our quirks.” Momo said.

“Yeah but Shouto, Deku, Tokoyami, and Bakugou totally killed the exam, oh and Uraraka too! I know you guys will for sure be chosen.” Ashido said.

“Thanks Ashido! lets just hope the pros will think the same as you!” Uraraka said.

“Hey I didn’t know you can increase gravity! You sure sneaked that move in! But it was amazing.” Ashido said.

“Yes it took a very long time to control it. I’ve had headaches and nausea feelings for a long time haha.” Uraraka moved her hair.

“It was fantastic Uraraka.” Iida said.

“Oh Iida, are you planning on working for your families agency?” Uraraka said.

“Yes, as you know my brothers hero name was passed on to me, and I plan to work and restore our hero agency reputation, moral, and confidence.” Iida said.

“Wow thats amazing Iida! Are you planning to do the same with your fathers agency Todoroki?” Deku said.

“Yes even though I don’t agree with the way my Father leads an agency, he is still a great hero. I want to take over it one day and fix it.” Shouto said.

“Wow you guys are so admirable with your goals.” Tsuyu said.

“Thank you Tsuyu, but I am curious on who my father would chose as well, counting myself, he is looking for one or two more people to recruit.” Shouto said.

“I wonder how the Pros will chose, what are they looking for. It really makes you stress you know.” Uraraka said.

“But what about you and Bakugou, what if you guys get chosen to work for different agencies? How are you guys planning your futures? Is your plans to work for the same agency or what ribbit.” Tsuyu said.

Uraraka looked dumbfounded.

“Ahhhh well you see we never really planned on that. But if we work at the same agency or not, am sure we can work around it.” Uraraka said.

It was becoming late and the students chose to go back to their rooms.

~~~ Uraraka’s POV ~~~

How in the world have we never talked about this! The thought of not working together never crossed my mind! Boy I sure was too focus on improving my quirk, I didn’t bother to address this topic with Katsuki. Well we should talk about it, after we find out who wants to recruit us. Uraraka thought.

~~~ The Next Day ~~~

The students stood at the middle of the recruiting room in UA. There was all the Pro Heroes sitting on a desks around them.

There was trembling and praying among some students.

“I would like to congratulate all you hard working young heroes from yesterdays test. Everyone done a fantastic job and whatever news you are about to hear, just know you all did your best.” All Might said.

“Alright, the results from yesterdays test is in and the heroes have several candidates in this class, some students even had multiple pros interested in them. Unfortunately there is only 14 students who got chosen to work for Pro Agencies. The rest of the students will be able to apply for other common agencies, so don’t be discouraged if you didn’t get picked.” Aizawa said.

14? Please let me be in the chosen group. Is what some students of class 1A thought.

“There was 10 Pro Hero agencies that evaluated you yesterday and they made their decisions. Every student will receive an envelope, in the envelope is the names of the hero agencies that want to recruit you. You may see more than one name. Some of you might even see, bonus offers from the agencies. These bonuses could be money or flexibility. Once you receive your envelopes from the other room, if given an offer, you will be called one by one, to hear out from the Pros themselves why you should work for their agency. Now everyone please go to the other room.” Aizawa said.

The students gulped but followed directions.

Midnight and All Might met the students in the room. They began to call out students names to give out envelops.

“Ashido, Jirou, and Kirishima. Please come forward I have your envelope.” Midnight said.

She gave out the envelopes and the called students opened it carefully. Like their whole futures was about to be revealed.

“OMG I GOT TWO OFFERINGS! I can’t believe this… I worked so hard for this and.. and” Pinky started to cry.

“And I wanted this so bad. Am so grateful that pros recognized me.” Pinky let out.

Her classmates patted her back to congratulate her.

“So what does it say?” Kaminari said.

“I don’t know. I haven’t opened it.” Jirou gulped. She knew she wasn’t the most athletic girl in the class and her grades weren’t the best. But she did try her best on the evaluation.

“Hey don’t be so scared. Whatever is in that envelope, those pros should be glad they have you.” Kaminari said.

She nodded and opened her envelope. Her mouth opened wide.

Kaminari quickly took her paper.

“You got three pros interested on you! Congrats!” He said to her.

The class heard and yelled congrats.

“Alright moment of truth! Wish me luck.” Kirishima said.

“Why the fuck would you need help opening a damn envelope.” Bakugou said.

“That’s not what I meant Bro. I meant wish me luck for some good news.” Kirishima said.

“Well why the fuck for. They already fucking decided. Just open your shit up already.” Bakugou responded.

He opened the envelope.

“YOUR BOY GOT 3 OFFERS!” Kirishima yelled.

He jumped and yelled about manliness.

“Young Midoriya, Iida, and Tsuyu. I have your mighty letters.” All Might said.

“It seems I got three nominations as well. However my mind still stays on excelling the family company.” Iida said.

“Ribbit I got two offerings.” Tsuyu said as she took a picture on her phone to show her parents.

“Alright my future is literally in my hands.” Deku muttered.

He dropped on the floor (breaking it) and cried out a stream of tears, after he opened his letter.

“I .. I did it! I got.. three.. five.. no six offerings! Am so happy!” Deku cried to himself.

“Congrats young man! I hope you think about joining my mighty agency!” All Might said.

“Next three Tokoyami, Mineta, and Sero” Midnight said.

Tokoyami got five offerings

Sero got one.

Mineta got zero.

“I guess am part of the six that didn’t get anything.” Mineta cried.

“Young Bakugou, Momo, and Kaminari.” All Might said. As he handed out the items.

Momo got four offerings.

Kaminari got three.

“What you get Katsuki.” Uraraka said. She popped out of nowhere and put her hand on his shoulder.

“I was just about to find out until a brown hair midget came popping out of nowhere.” He grunted.

She puffed her cheeks, pouting about her “new name”

He lifted the paper out of his envelop and Uraraka shirked out of excitement.

“Katsuki you got nine! Congrats. Oh look you have some bonuses offerings too if you sign in those agencies. Am so proud you of. ” She told him.

His eyes glared at the paper, trying to figure out what one agency didn’t want him. (Since it’s 10 companies recruiting)

He glared at Iida and decided it wasn’t a bad thing that agency didn’t give out an offering. He wouldn’t have chosen to work with Iida’s family company, in the first place. He told himself he rather be sidekick than be working under his class rep and his stuck up personality.

(A/N I love Iida. So don’t be mean.)

“Uraraka, Shouto, and Toru.” Midnight said.

Uraraka’s fingers trembled as she grabbed her letter.

While Shouto opened his with ease.

“Oh.” Was all he said.

“Oh?! Shouto you got all ten!” Momo gasped.

“What! How the hell did half and half get more than me!” Bakugou fell to the ground to only pound the floor.

His sudden act was a clear answer to his own question.

“Oh dammit. I didn’t even get one.” Toru sighed.

Bakugou watched Uraraka open her letter and the look on her face was so confusing for him to comprehend. Tears came down from her face as she just stared. He stood up and walked to her.

She looked up from her paper and immediately hugged him. He looked uncomfortable showing PDA in front of everyone (he never got used to it) and she passed on her paper to him.

Ten?! She got ten! And there is so many bonus offerings. This one is offering her 10,000 dollars to sign with them, what the fuck this one is a 30,000 sign in deal. He thought.

He shrugged her off of him and grabbed her shoulders.

“Why the heck are you crying you got all ten of those fuckers interested in you.” He said.

The class gasped and started muttering.

“Am not sad, am just so happy Katsuki. I finally proved myself to everyone and these offering means my dream to provide for my family is finally going to happen. I worked so hard..” she started to bawl.

One by one the remaining students learned their fates and futures.

After awhile the Pros called in their candidates to stand in the middle of the desks. They told the students why they have chosen them and what offering and benefits they will receive if they pick their agency over others.

A couple hours later the students were sent home and was given one week to decide what agency they want to work for.

Bakugou and Uraraka decided to stay sitting on a bench in a park nearby the dorms.

“So Katsuki what are we going to do. I think we should plan our future now. I mean work related.” She blushed.

“Well looking at our offering, it’s kind of opposite considering the bonuses. We should aim for one that offers the best for us. Fucking Aizawa’s agency is offering me a shit ton, with a flexible schedule. But Blue Jeanist is there too. But I don’t think I can fucking handle wearing jeans all fucking day or having my hair look preppy as fuck. There is a lot to pick from.” He said.

“Your right there is a lot to choose from, but what I really meant was should we pick the same office or not? ” She asked.

“Well because if we are moving out with each other. Shouldn’t we try to have similar hours or same location to find an apartment?” Uraraka said.

“Look it doesn’t matter if we work together or not. We are strong we can handle anything that comes our way. I think we should focus on who wants us and their offerings. After all we don’t want to end up signing with an agency that is shitty or anything. If we end up working together that’s great, if not oh fucking well we can see each other at home.” He said.

“You are right we can handle anything.” She smiled.

“You know I kind of hope you pick Blue Jeanist. I would love to see you in jeans all the time. Can you imagine how cool you would look if you fight a villain in jeans. Haha.” She giggled.

His cheeks and ears turned red.

“Hey! I’ll rather fight fucking swim trunks than wear fucking tight ass jeans all day.” He said.

“Oh hey you never picked out your hero name yet. Don’t you think it’s pretty late on the deciding factor.” She asked.

Am so so sorry I haven’t updated in FOREVER. I was on a small vacation to visit some family. Am currently trying to spend as much time with them. omg so glad i found ur blog ok i have some questions if thats alright, what examboard are u doing for RS? is ur college doing offcial AS exams this year? and how are u finding geography, any tips?

Aww you're such a cutie! ❤ its fine to ask questions - I actually encourage it!!I am doing RS with AQA and I'm sitting my exam a week tomorrow and I lowkey want to die because of it. The religion part of it we only finished learning two weeks ago, and have done one test in which I got a C which just isn't good enough. I'm actually starting to enjoy geography now. At first I got very stressed and I probably cried once every couple of lessons out of fear of failing, but I feel I'm getting better and better, especially as I revise. I also find the topics interesting, especially glaciation and weirdly enough urbanisation, however we're coming on to course work and it is possible that the stress of it kills me. I hope this was helpful! Feel free to ask more questions/message me :)
