#horizon forbidden west #hfw #nil #file this one under “things i never want to do ever again but i had to finish once i started” ;_;#so when you replace aloy with another character model you can change facepaint in photomode like normal. but.#1) i think it replaces the model's skin tone overall with aloy's and #2) if the model is wearing facepaint already it doesn't necessarily go away when you change it XD #also 3) it adds aloy's hairline which is kind of hilarious #but difficult for someone of my editing skills to fix lol #anyway. i tried my best to recreate nil with his hzd look!#hfw nil #hfw npcs #hfw pc #(character swap mod)

started replying three hopes and it really reminds me of how much I love claude...three hopes provides such a nice contrast to his three houses characterization and lets you go oh shit claude was literally socialized out the idea of transactional relationships at school

#twila talks #fe3h #fe3hopes #claude von riegan #golden deer #golden wildfire #im mostly replaying because im intending on doing a three hopes cosplay build and want to stare at his model in game lol #but it's interesting to see further proof that while dimitri and edelgard (and even rhea to an extent) receive the majority of their byleth #inspired character development in the second half of the game #claude gets most of it in the first half! golden deer white clouds is so enjoyable to be BECAUSE as byleth it's an uphill battle to truly w #n claude and even the house as a whole over! they love you from the start in their own ways but like. there's less of a golden day aspect #to their monastery days then the other routes which is interesting it's also why everytime I replay #claude's route post timeskip feels like a victory lap because claude is not only won over he's had five years to BE won over in the game #although edelgard has a similar thing of not necessarily needing to break through her walls post time skip for claude it feels esp rewardin #because he's so closed off in the beginning #while edelgard (like ive said before) is uhhhh desperate to trust someone and slowly opens up byleth has to take a cheese grader to claude #wear down that boys walls a million times i will....

there is a story trying to form in my head that sounds like a perfect plot for one of those yaois you read once and never find again, which sucks because I am so bad at drawing comics bigger than one silly page

#youni originals #it feels like a yaoi i should be able to find. and yet. i doubt i will #so instead i must consider creating guys to star this in my head #they are fumblr (fake tumblr) enemies but irl acquaintances due to their 'friend of a friend' circles being pretty much the same #one of them accidentally sends the other dick pics one day and the other is like. initially annoyed. but then ends up using the #pics as art reference for a project. and ends up having to ask the guy for permission to submit the art to a contest since he's the model.#and then they have an art gallery 'date'. and well. yaoi happens. and of course they both swear that was a one time thing #and they will just go back to hating each other. and they kinda do. except new reasons to meet up keep coming up.#and then things get complicated and that's as far as i've got #it could end close to the art gallery thing for a short yaoi. or keep going with the extra entanglements for a long yaoi #one of the 'entanglements' is also a 'classic' romance plot (date each other for a month on a dare) so it would be a good end point #(it's not actually 'dating on a dare' but the full explanation is too convoluted to explain in tags)#and anywayes. idk why i'm even posting this. probably because it's been plaguing my mind.#i've been trying to think of pre-existing blorbos to put in this plot but it's very very doubtful that i will #owell. new modern weirdos i guess.#they could be wizard college students. vaguely related to the aurek and day plot #(which is also a classic fanfic plot that i did not have pre-existing blorbos to fit into so i made new blorbos for it)#(note: by blorbos i do not necessarily mean blorbos from my shows. it's blorbos from my brains as well)#merry christmas have some vague nonexistent yaoi #two likes and i will seriously consider making these guys a thing

#bg3 #enver gortash #gortash #actually all of the statue choices are fascinating on a character level #like one of the founder of the Counting House noting he built himself from nothing and held onto disdain for the other patriars #or the one about the founder of the Flaming Fist who was seen as cruel and hard-handed at the time but history remembered kindly #the in-game model for the Bane statue looks the same as the other statues of men by the way #so not necessarily reflective of how Bane looked in the dream #but I'm going to imagine a big glorious beard anyway!!!

admittedly, I'm kind of fascinated by the fact that while LLMs are not what has generally been conceptualized as AI (lacking cognition and consciousness), the fact that the first genuine stab at a technology which may, one day lead to AI is such a weird half-aware thing. It's a choose-your-own-adventure book with ten trillion pages. It's a labyrinth with no exit. It can produce intelligible work which may be indistinguishable from human work. Everyone who spent 50 years jerking off over the Turing Test being this big deal looks like a big idiot. Leaving aside the entire corporate shills playing up its intelligence to sell their product, and the way in which it is built upon theft, it is still kind of a neat technology that exists in an abstract emotional sense.

#and when I say theft I don't necessarily mean copyright infringment #been reading responses to the anti-ai crowd and there's a fair point that copyright is a flawed model #But at the same time art theft is still something we want to socially discourage and it is exceptionally awful that this is for profit #i don't know if art theft should be a Crime but when people profit off your labor without paying you we call it crime in any other sphere
