Molly O'Shea is Irish on purpose. Everything about her was written on purpose for a reason. I rattle on a lot about Irish identity in Red Dead, but it seems to only be taken into account when discussing Sean when it comes to the Irish characters, and that is to be expected when Sean talks about it the most. However, it is a relevant part to every Irish character in the game. The O’Driscolls more as a unit, as we’ve only got two named members of that gang who aren’t just there to shoot you and be shot, but it’s still immensely important to recognise when discussing them and how they function, operate and exist. It’s important for Colm, and why he pronounces his name like that, his rejection of his Irish identity in favour of assimilating more with America, presenting himself as an American man, whilst taking advantage of the disenfranchised men from his same background and exploiting them just the same. It’s important for Kieran, even with his own disconnection from his culture and how out of place constantly seems to be. And it’s important for Molly. They’re all Irish on purpose. There was a choice made for this character, for every character who falls into any kind of vulnerable class in this country, in this time, in this society. There’s a reason why Dutch van der Linde - who willingly uses the exploitation and genocide of Native Americans to further his own goals, who runs a gang full of people indebted to him with no choice, no safe, realistic options other than to depend on said gang for their survival and safety - is written to be in a relationship with a young Irish woman. Molly’s age tends to be the aspect of their imbalanced relationship most frequently examined, to the point where little else about the unbalanced scales of their dynamic is looked at in equal measure here. Yeah, it’s very weird how Dutch is about young women, and it’s pointed out by Molly herself, that she - a woman who is referred to on multiple occasions as a girl rather than a woman, who is older than Mary-Beth but still clearly young herself - is too old for him. Molly being young is important and intentional, but so is Molly being Irish. She is in an abusive relationship with an older man, but she is also in an abusive relationship with an American man, and this is as inseparable from their dynamic as her age is. This is 1899 America, and this is Dutch van der Linde. This is a man we know - especially with Red Dead Redemption in mind - will exploit the vulnerable and whose violence towards women is no secret. Molly is in this gang for incredibly different reasons from everybody else around her, and even in comparison to the other Irish gang members she is out of place, but functionally, she needs the gang just the same, and Dutch has made this young, vulnerable woman completely reliant on him, only to cast her aside and refuse to give her such basic respect as her first name when she becomes more trouble than she’s worth. He does not treat Molly like a person. He does not value her feelings or her needs, he will only give her any attention when it is done in his terms, the results of his emotional abuse and neglect are nothing more than inconveniences to him. He doesn’t respect her. He doesn’t value her. The woman he gawks at, the younger, more desirable woman he attempts to make a move on when Molly loses her appeal, is a young American woman. Mary-Beth is younger, yes, but she’s also American. Molly can never be younger, and she can never be American. Molly is the only Irish woman in the gang, and it is her that Dutch is in a relationship with, and it is her who is treated by Dutch the way she is. Inherently, Molly’s status as an Irish immigrant is built into both her character and this relationship. That was done on purpose. Her poem is written the way it is on purpose. Molly is Irish on purpose. Do you see what I’m getting at here? Am I making sense?

Summary: Rogue takes pictures/videos of you and logan and gives them to you two as a gift on her anniversary of arriving at the mansion.

Rogue had been at Xavier's for close to two years now, and she wanted to make a special gift for the people who helped her adjust the most since arriving here. You and Logan, the two of you had really taken her under your wings and treated her more like a daughter than anything else and she wanted to show her appreciation in some way so she thought a homemade scrapbook of sorts would be a nice little token of gratitude.

She started collecting candid pictures and even took some videos of you two when no one was looking earlier in the year, and she complied them for you to view whenever you wanted. She put finishing touches on it before taking a deep breath and going to find the two of you.

She found you in the living room trying to find a movie to watch. She interrupt the argument of whether you should watch a western movie or a horror movie by clearing her throat, "I made you guys something, it's just something small, just as a thank you" she held out the box and you took it from her hands smiling up at her as Logan tried to protest the gift, "there's nothing to be thanking for" you elbowed him and shushed him. "Sweetie, that's too much." The three of you sat down and began to go through the box together.

Moment 1.) A cuddle session.

The first moment was something she walked in on accidentally. She knew you had a rough day so she went to your room with some cookies to try and cheer you up but when she sneaked in she stopped in her tracks. On your bed was you and Logan wrapped in each other's arms. Logan had you on his lap and he was whispering softly into your ears reassuring you for multiple things, everything that went wrong today he was trying to remind you was going to work out, that it was just one bad day and tomorrow will be better. He reminded you how much he loved you as his hands went up and down your spin soft and slowly. It was still the beginning of your relationship so no one really got to see you two super close like this and it made Marie's heart swell with happiness for her two favorite people. She quickly took a picture of you and sneaked away to go share the cookies with Kurt.

Moment 2.) You bandaging him up even though he heals.

Logan got home late, and his knuckles were blooded from the fight he had been in. You were already worried because he was home much later than he was supposed to be, but seeing him hurt sent you over. "Honey!" You move to him faster than he could try to stop you. You looked clearly in distress when you took notice of the injury, and even though he was trying to reassure you that he would heal just fine, you forced him to let you wash and disinfect his cuts. Marie got a quick video of you standing between Logan's legs as you put disinfectant on a cotton swap before muttering softly to him that it'll sting. The clip was short, but she was able to capture love behind Logans eyes as he looked at you even if he was shaking his head at your antics.

Moment 3.) Him cutting your food for you during family dinner.

Every Sunday, the entire group tries their best to all get together for dinner, it had been a few weeks since the last time it had been a successful gathering but this particular Sunday everyone was actually able to gather around the table. You had been the one who made the majority of the food, and as everyone began to eat, you were sitting next to Logan completely distracted by your conversation with Charles over the material you were planning on teaching. Logan turned to ask you a question when he took notice of you not eating. He switched plates with you and began to cut your food for you. After he had everything cut and divided into their own section so nothing was touching he switched plates again and tapped your shoulder to get your attention. You turned around, and he just nodded to your plate before beginning to eat himself. You smiled and picked up your fork, eating while carrying on with your conversation. The only people at the table who took notice of this moment was Charles, who gave you a knowing smile when you turned your attention back to him, and Marie who somehow was able to get the whole thing on camera.

Moment 4.) Him putting your hair up for you.

The next moment Rogue caught was actually on the same Sunday as the family dinner. You were in the midst of cooking when you started to get hot. You were asking around to see if any of the girls around had a hair tie or something you could use to put your hair up or at least away from your skin, and no one did. You admitted defeat and went back to cooking when Logan came up and gathered your hair for you before taking the scrunchie he carries on his wrist off and putting your hair up in a messy bun. He kissed your cheek and walked off, leaving you blushing and a bit frazzled before going to check on the potatoes. Marie couldn't believe her luck when she looked down at her camera and saw that she got a great photo of the act.

Moment 5.) You kissing his cheek with lipstick.

This moment was caught completely accidental, but it was one of Marie's favorites. You had just finished getting ready when you realized you were running late for a lunch date with old friends, as you rushed through the mansion you found Logan in the living talking to Marie and a few others you stood on your tip toes and kissed his cheek before saying goodbye and rushing out the door leaving behind a blushing Logan who had a bright red lipstick mark on his cheek, a mark he didn't wash off for a few hours claiming to everyone that he had "no idea" that you left make up on him.

Moment 6.) He carries your bags for you always.

Logan doesn't like going shopping, you however love it. It was a rare moment where all of you agreed to go to the mall, everyone but Logan agreed. You dragged him along from store to store and as you looked throughout the store he would look like he was living a nightmare but in reality he was the one who was finding everything you were wanting to try and find on your shopping spree that day. By the end of the trip, he was carrying six different bags and holding your hand. You had the biggest smile on your face, and Logan was walking with a sense of pride, knowing you were as happy as ever next to him.

As you finished going through the few moments she was able to capture on camera, Logan leaned over and kissed your head, and you started to tear up. There are dozens and dozens of more that occur everyday that she didn't capture, moments that the two of you share that no one will never see but these five moments that have been caught will be held close to your heart for the rest of time.

Nikolai treats you like a queen.

His words and manners are enough proof that he sees you as one. You could not remember how many times have you felt so down about your appearance, especially after three pregnancies. But Nikolai would always be there, hands slithering on your body, tracing your curves and folds and fleshes and bones, with his lips uttering how beautiful you are.

And he is such a great father as well. He makes sure your children all tell you how beautiful and pretty and cute you are. Yuri is a good boy—he always says nice things to you. Mari wants to be as pretty as you—she said. And Karol... Well, he often compares you with his favourite Hot Wheels cars, so you take it as a compliment.

It's summer. The sun is bright outside. It is a little windy, it is such a nice weather to chill. You are standing right outside your house, monitoring Yuri and Mari who are gardening. They seem to be focused on choosing between succulents. Yuri has taken a new interest these days and you are more than happy to support him—and Nikolai is always eager to play with Yuri, despite the boy's annoyance.

“I don't understand you, Karol...”

You hear your husband's voice and you turn to the side, seeing Nikolai's pinky getting pulled by Karol who is excited about some 'bell man'. Nikolai notices you and mouthes 'Help me' with a pleading pout.

However, your eyes are wandering away.

You know Nikolai likes to be shirtless—and this man is a nudist after 2AM—but there is just something else about his look right now.

Shirtless, black shorts, hair in a bun. His chest is toned, with lines of his muscles. His shoulders are just as broad as you remember.

You do not know if it is hormones or you are just attracted by how good of a father he is, but he definitely stirs something in you. You find yourself to be staring hard at his physique—has he exercised or something? Why do his arms look so strong and firm? Why does his waist look so huggable? Are his muscles already looked that toned and visible?

“Pervert alert.”

You swallow nervously when you realize that he is standing beside you. A timidity creeps up, and it feels like you two are young again. Nikolai grins, leaning closer to you. You feel your cheeks heat up and you lightly shove him by his chest, although it does nothing to nudge an inch of him.

“Aww, you shy now?” He teases again, holding your wrist and keeping your hand close to his body. Your fingers are brushing against his bare skin—he is slightly sweaty and he feels warm. Nikolai smirks, pressing your hand so you would palm his chest. “Come on, don't be shy. We've been together for years, my love.”

You pout, pinching his chest lightly. Instead of wincing, Nikolai only laughs, enjoying your reaction. “You’re so fun to tease. Always the same face. Never get tired of it, you know?” He says as he gives your ass a light smack, which you do not mind as much—he is always touchy. But his hand is lingering on your rear for a little too long.

He gives your ass a good squeeze, causing you to squirm and hitting his chest lightly. “D-Don't do that here... The kids—”

“Kids, go inside right now!” Suddenly Nikolai shouts at them and they immediately turn to both of you. You click your tongue in annoyance, attempting to pinch his stomach, but God—his body is firm.

“Don't listen to your dad. He's being stupid again.” You reply, assuring your kids that Nikolai is just joking. Both Mari and Karol are clearly confused but Yuri has the nastiest look on his face, which makes Nikolai cracks a wheeze of laughter.

“Isn't he always stupid though?” Yuri says. Karol gasps, looking at his big brother in disbelief.

“He is?!”

“He is.”

“I don't think daddy is stupid! I think he's just... mmm... selective smart!” Mari says and Nikolai cheers. He gets to his little princess and carries her up.

“Oh, my little flower! You really are your daddy's defender! Mwah!” He kisses her cheek, making Mari giggle. You smile to yourself but your smile falters into a shriek of embarrassment when Nikolai suddenly turns to you, saying, “It's okay, love. I'll carry you like this too.” He winks.

“Stop it,” You huff but your mind is already wandering elsewhere when you are starting to imagine how nice it feels when he wraps his strong arms around you. Your face heats up and you gaze away, trying not to look at your husband's flirtatious smile any longer.

“Bell man!” Karol suddenly shouts excitedly and both you and Nikolai turn to the gate, seeing Karol waddling to see an ice cream bike passing just in front of the house. The man on the bike is ringing a bell—a gesture to attract attention.

“Karol, don't go to the road!” Nikolai barks sternly as he puts down Mari. Yuri is already on his way to hold back his little brother who is excited for some ice cream when the ice cream man parks his bike right outside your yard. Mari looks at both you and Nikolai before grinning and following his brothers, seeming to want an ice cream too.

“Well, guess I have to buy ice cream for everyone,” Nikolai mumbles to himself. “Look after them for a while, sweetheart. I'm gonna get my wallet.”

“And... get your shirt,” You playfully smacks his chest, squeezing it. “Don't wanna have those aunties gawk their eyes on my husband now, do we?”

“Possessive, I like that,” Nikolai smirks as he slaps your butt lightly. “This is all yours, honey. No one has a chance, alright?” You giggle as you shove him back lightly, urging him to get inside and get dressed. Nikolai still has that perverted grin on his face as he walks into the house.

You turn to your kids, expecting a wholesome scenery of your kids choosing ice cream for each other, but all you see is Karol standing on the bike with the ice cream man—not even Yuri or Mari is stopping him.

The mail keeps coming. It’s the one consistency left in your life. You go out as you do every day and lift the flap to fish out the contents. That day, however, it’s more than just the flyers and the flimsy bills. You have to shove your hand fully inside to grasp the bulky weight. 

You pause and peer out at the street. You expect the black car to pull up at any moment. At least, you sense something waiting... Or you’re just paranoid. 

You bring it inside. You hear your sisters in the kitchen. Adrienne is cleaning the dishes as Stony sits at the table. Her fingertips anxiously draw circles on the wood. 

You approach and put down the usual envelopes and a few filmy pamphlets. You keep hold of the thick brown envelope. It has your sister’s name on it. You put it in front of her and say her name. She flinches. 

“Is he on his way?” You ask. 

She nods. Odd. That means someone else delivered that. 

“Mail,” you point as her gaze remains on the wall. She sighs and looks down. 

“Take it,” she pushes it across the table. 

You grimace, “it’s for you-” 

“It’s for groceries. Or whatever else we need.” She says dully.  “Take Adrienne to the bakery. Have something sweet.” She stands and gives a sullen look to the picture of your mother on the wall. “I’ll go wait outside.” 

She pushes the chair into the table and turns away. 

“We love you,” you call after her. 

She stops in the doorway, “love you too.” 

She disappears into the hallway and you frown. You grab the envelope and open it, checking the contents. A hunk of bills pad the paper. A lot. 

“Wow,” Adrienne lifts her chin to peek inside. 

“Yeah, wow,” you echo. “Well, how about it? Scones and tea?” 

“It sounds nice. It’s nice to have nice things,” she giggles at her repetition. “I wish...” 

“I wish she could be here too,” you agree. “But ma is better off.” 

She nods with a glum expression. She’s still the baby. Still the one with hope. And you still can’t bear to bring her down. You know this won’t end well. Nothing does. Just look at your father; dead at the hands of another. And your sister; promised to a man even more dangerous than your patriarch. 

“We should bring something back for Stony too. For when she gets back,” Adrienne suggests. 

“That’s sweet of you. I’m going to grab a sweater. You should too. It’s supposed to get chilly.” You gird. 

You go upstairs as your mind wanders outside those walls. You doubt Stony will be back that day to enjoy the treat. Not if it’s up to Barnes and everything in her life and your life is now in his hands. You’re not stupid. You might put a smile and keep the peace, but it doesn’t mean you’re stupid. 

You take out your favourite brown sweater; the one your mother embroidered for you when you were in high school. It pairs well with your thrifted dress. Not that anything you wear is especially flashy. 

You go back to the first floor and step into your brown scuffed mary-janes. Adrienne appears in her trademark striped pullover. You grab your purse and count a few bills out, shoving the rest behind the mantle. As you go back to the front door, she ties her sneakers. She no longer has to hide as your father can’t rant at her for the unladylike footwear. 

You follow her out with keys in hand. Your eyes skim the street. Stony is gone but that shadow isn’t. You turn to lock the door, your mind clinging to the speck near the bushes diagonal from Erlich’s rusty old truck. 

“We should make something special tonight,” Adrienne says. 

“Yeah, that’d be nice,” you smile. You always loved cooking. You would help your mother in the kitchen often and when you made your father one of her recipes, he was a little kinder. As kind as a man like him ever was. 

You rub your cheek instinctively. Sometimes, a lot of times, he was less than kind. He was vicious. Venomous. You’re happy he’s gone but in the same, you’re sad about it. Not because he was good, no, he was never that, only because he was a constant. Losing that sort of permanence is earth-shaking. 

Adrienne takes your hand, “he wouldn’t like this, but ma would.” 

You smile at her, a bittersweet twinge in your eyes, “she would. I think I’m going to try one of their tea lattes. I always was eyeing that strawberry parfait one on the specials sign.” 

“Oh, that sounds delicious.” She swings your arm. You feel like a child again even as those years feel so far behind you. “I need coffee. Double espresso at least.” 

You laugh. She’s still young enough to have bad habits. Yours are just starting to really bug you. 

As you come up to the cafe, another customer approaches from the other side of the pavement. The man opens the door and grins as he waves you in with a hand. You look him in the face, something you don’t often do but the prickle on the nape of your neck draws your eyes up. 

He seems familiar but you can’t place him. Reddish brown hair, parted neatly and combed, a darker shade in his eyes, and a square jaw that frames an otherwise boyish face. He wears a burgundy suit and his lips slant in a grin. 

“Ladies first,” he insists. 

“Thank you,” you say and squeeze Adrienne’s hand. 

You nod and pull her inside. Your hackles are up but your doubt is just as needling. It could be genuine intuition or it could be the effect of a lifetime of fear. No, you know better. At first glance, you know he’s one of those men. Like your father, like Barnes, he is dangerous. 

He steps up behind you to join the line. Amid the crowded cafe, it is only him that you are aware of. There’s just that voice telling you to pay attention. The same one that screamed at you when your sister came home the night before you found out about your father. There’s something amiss here, and again, you can’t figure it out.

DC X MARVEL: Dick Grayson is Richard Parker, with a twist.

AU where somewhere during Dick's time in spiral, something happens and his identity is erased from everyone's memory and now the only people who remember him are the people who know him as Agent 37. Everything else beyond that is just gone. In the void. Like it never existed in the first place.

After he finds this out, he decides to stay in spiral after realizing he has no where else to go. Even after he's able to complete his mission, he stays. After all, where would he go? His home is something only he remembers.

Anyways, some time passes, how much is for interpretation/the writer to decide, and spiral ends up finding an dimensional rift, a crack between their dimension and another. After a lot of discussion on what the best course of action is, they decide the best course of action is to have one agent, go to the other side to close it on that end, and another to close it on theirs.

Dick, having nothing left to lose, makes the sacrifice of being the one to close it from the other side. After they're able to successfully close the rift, he takes his time getting used to his new world. After exploring and getting used to this new reality he was in, he decided to settle down and become a police officer in Queens New York where he met Ben. Where the 2 quickly became brothers in everything but blood. Everything after this is Richards Parker's story. Up to the point of the plane crash.

After some time, Him and Mary decided to finally settle down with Peter and Teresa. As more time passes, the family grows bigger with the birth of the twins Kaine Parker & Ben Parker are born.

And now in the present day, Peter is Spider-man, mentoring young Miles Morales. Teresa works for shield, following in her parent's footsteps. Kaine and Ben traveling the world, trying to find their place in it. And Dick and Mary are scientists with their own company, seeing with their kids are doing now and feeling nothing but pride & enjoy.

But something is wrong. And the rift that was once closed so many years ago, has reopened.

What happens afterwards? Idk but here are some ideas I have

Peter ends up in Gotham, trying to find his way home, but his presence there is slowly making everyone remember Dick.

The world's are colliding like 2 black holes, and the heroes of both worlds are trying to stop it.

At some point in the DC universe, everyone ends up remembering Dick. Maybe after a huge fight with some alien magic users, so they reopen the rift, trying to find him.

Maybe both Richard and Peter are sent to Gotham, maybe Richard was trying to protect Peter from a magic attack and ended up getting hit with him. Or maybe vice versa and the person that casts the spell could tell he wasn't from this world and sent Richard back to where he came from but Peter ended up protecting him and now they're both in Gotham.

And here are some little background things I would add if I was better at writing:

Richard and Mary use to be very close friends with the Osborn's. But after they find out about the experiments and the truth behind Norman's work, well, you can only guess what would happen.

Harry and Peter are still very close, even after everything. Kanie and Ben aren't really big fan of him though..

Richard doesn't like being around Tony Stark to much. (he reminds him too much of Bruce. Especially Bruce's Brucie Wayne persona)

Tony has two kids, Megan and Harley. Both are very close with Peter.

Mary has reddish brown hair and green eyes

Richard knew that Peter was Spider-man right off the bat. Decides to pick up being a vigilante again for a bit to teach him the ropes, doesn't stay a vigilante for long and ends up becoming his GITC.

Peter looks exactly like Richard physically but with his mom's color palette.

Likewise, Teresa looks exactly like Mary physically but has Richards color palette. As a little treat.

Kaine has Dick's hair color and his Mary eye color, while Ben has Mary's hair color and Dick's eye color. They have a mix of both of their physical features.

Richard refers to all of his kids as his little Robins, the same way his mother used to for him.

He taught everyone in the family how to fly like a Glying Grayson.

Peter's full name is Peter Benjamin Grayson-Parker. Maybe his middle name is Bruce instead?? It would keep his initials PBP. But Benjamin just feels right.

I had the idea that Teresa's name is a reference to Tara Markov/Terra considering how similar the name is, and that her middle name is Cassidy, a combination of Stephanie's and Cassandra names to honour them both. So her full name would be Teresa Cassidy Grayson-Parker. But that's just an idea lol.

Kaine is honestly pretty similar to Jason based off what I know about him, so why not his full name be Kaine Jason Grayson-Parker. A nice little tribute to his little brother.

Ben's full name is Benjamin Riley Grayson-Parker, nothing much to say that I'm sorry Ben :(( but maybe when the twins are born, both Ben and May are dead, so that's why he has their names... I'm just spending it ideas at this point.

time jump: season 2 was firmly set in the winter and it looks like the bulk of 3 will be set in the spring (with some flashes to the Deep Winter)

Do you think who Adam's mother is is important and will we find out what happened to her?

Hi there 💕 I think that Adam's mother was important in the way that all people are important but I would very much doubt that we're ever going to learn much more about her or have a mention of her again.

TW: discussion of how Adam's mother fits into the story around Satan's abuse of Crowley.

I think that there is probably enough already to tell us what happened to Adam's mother within how her presence is a very noticeable absence that heightens the fear and tension in Crowley's story.

The point of her story, imho, is that we don't know much about her and never will. Adam's mother was viewed as such a non-entity by both the patriarchal Metatron & Satan that nothing about her was relevant to them aside from her ability to birth the antichrist child to get their Armageddon a-rollin'. We don't even know her name because, in many ways, Adam's mother is no different from countless people-- especially women-- in history who have been used for their bodies by people-- especially by men-- before being violently discarded without a thought.

Within Good Omens, Adam's mother exists to help highlight that mentality in many (but not all) in Heaven and Hell. All of the demons in the story know what's happened to her-- nothing good-- and no one has to say it aloud because it's just understood that this would be how Satan would treat this person. I think that it is done this way in the story to really emphasize to the audience how much danger Crowley is in as a result of being fixated on by Satan.

A being who would kill the mother of his child-- and Adam's mother is almost certainly dead-- is a being who would not hesitate to harm anyone. The ghostly presence Adam's mother serves in her non-existence in the plot shows the threat of the end result of being around the evil being whom this same story is showing us is fixated on, stalking, and assaulting Crowley.

When Crowley is handed the baby in a basket without a present mother or any mention of her-- and by Hastur & Ligur, the very last two beings in the universe that anyone would ever consider acceptable child care providers lol-- we know that nothing good could have happened to Adam's mother or else she'd be there with her child. We know that Satan has already robbed this child and the world of Adam's mother. He's a terrifying presence before he even shows up and becomes even more of one.

I think that the fate of Adam's mother was part of helping the audience to understand what Crowley is escaping as much as possible in living on Earth and in his relationship with Aziraphale. It is absolutely not a coincidence, for instance, that the scene of Crowley being assaulted is contrasted immediately with where he was supposed to be when it happened-- escaping with his partner, who is the exact opposite of Satan.

Everything in the 1.01 minisode is designed to show Crowley's absolute loathing of Satan and how Hell for Crowley-- and for Aziraphale-- has been how Crowley cannot ever fully escape him.

When we later see through the plot in S1 that both Crowley and Aziraphale believe in nurture over nature, it makes this line of Crowley's from the scene with Sister Mary below all the more powerful:

Sister Mary, a Satan fangirl, thrilled to bits to be holding about the child of her Dark Lord. A woman whose earlier questioning of how the baby would come into existence has not extended far enough to cause her to ask where this baby's mother is. She hopes that the baby in the basket will be just like his father when he grows up... so, just like the rapist she worships.

"Do you think he'll remember me?" she asks of Crowley, a survivor of Satan's violence who would give anything for the being Sister Mary worships to forget he exists.

Crowley can barely look at the baby in the basket-- despite a fervent belief in people being more than the genes they carry-- because all he can think about is how much he knows far more than he'd ever want to know about what violence that baby's mother has been through.

Crowley knows that baby's mother was, really, just like Crowley... and now she's dead.

"Pray that he doesn't," replies Crowley. The quip in there-- suggesting that she pray to her god, who is Satan-- that Satan's child doesn't remember her.

If that baby grows up to be anything like his father? Crowley warns from experience. You'd better pray he never looks your way.

Jump to the mirrored S2 and the character now played by Nina Sosanya is one who would understand Crowley's reply to Sister Mary a lot more than Sister Mary did.

Two year old Mary was squirming crying loudly as she moved back and forth.

Colleen and Bill shared a desperate look, Mary has been sick for weeks and no matter what they do and what the doctor does nothing is making her better. She seems to be in constant pain and just uncomfortable all the time.

Mary had got an ear infection after swimming in the lake in the beginning of the summer and they went to the doctor to get it treated but it never got better.

She then got sick, really sick. She had strep throat and a sinus infection and her ear infection spread to her left ear as well.

It’s been three weeks and nothing they do is making her better, they can only give her so much antibiotics with her being so young.

Colleen reached down feeling her forehead and immediately pulled back looking extremely, “Bill it’s too high.” She looked worried.

“We will take her now.” Bill quick decided and she nodded picking up a squirming and wailing Mary in her arms and Bill went to his Dad who was luckily staying in the house to tell him they were leaving and to watch Grace and Will.

Bill rushed them to the hospital and they rushed in, Mary’s wailing has only gotten worse and the face was just covered in tears, nothing they are doing to soothe her was helping.

Mary was rushed back to a room as her fever was over 102 and that is extremely dangerous, the nurses quick to started to try and cool Mary off as the doctor came in and started to see what could be the issue.

He checked her ears and frowned deeply when he looked in her right ear not liking what he saw but he saved that for later and has the nurse give more antibiotics to Mary and a soothing spray for her throat that is even more irritated from the screaming.

He also had the nurses give Mary medicines to help break her fever and had them set up an IV knowing she needed more nutrients and hydration but would be extremely difficult with her throat right now.

It was a long night.

By the next night Mary had gotten significantly better, her fever broke and her throat seemed to be doing better but it was specifically her right ear that was not getting better and it was worrying the doctor.

Her right ear got infraction first three weeks ago and she had had three full rounds of antibiotics and nothing is making the ear better.

The ear infection was worrying because it was also making everything else worse and almost impossible for her to get any better.

She was still in obvious pain and her ear has gotten pretty red and swollen.

The doctor had the nurses start doing some drops in Mary’s ear especially her right one to start and see if that helps.

The doctor doesn’t want her going home until her ears started to get at least a bit better.

August 4, 2008

Mary has been in the hospital for eight days now and she’s been slowly getting better but she was still in pain.

Her grandfather brought Grace and Will to visit and Will picked out a blue octopus stuff animal for Mary and she has been cuddling with it since.

“She’s getting better.” The doctor said as he stepped back from checking her heart, “What i’m worried about is the permanent damage in her right ear.” The doctor solemnly told Colleen and Bill.

“Permanent damage?” Colleen asked worried gripping on to her husband’s hand.

“With how long the ear infection has lasted and her being so young it’s very likely, it’s not common but her ear is in serve pain and her eardrum looks like it has permeant damage.” The doctor told them seriously, it’s rare for it to happen but it can happen.

“Like hearing loss?” Bill asked with a deep frown.

“Yes. It is hard to tell how much hearing she has lost and might still be loosing in her right ear, right now we can tell she still has some hearing.” The doctor informed them.

“Is there anything we can do?” Colleen asked tearfully.

“Right now no. When her ear infection goes away completely we can see how much hearing she has lost.” The doctor said making them nod, “She is going to her ear infection commonly now and she will be using drops on her ears for the rest of her life, you’ll find the things that agitate her ears and the drops can help prevent the infections and may help one from growing even more.”

August 8, 2008

After four more days Mary was allowed to go back home.

She had lost fifty percent of her hearing in her right ear and she is young but seemed confused some times when she couldn’t hear something well on her right.

Colleen and Bill started getting into the habit to talk to her from her let side so she can hear better and it’s something they will make sure Grace and Will does.

Mary held onto her blue octopus as she walked into the house looking around.

Will and Grace rushed over to their baby sister and slowed down when they reached her before pulling her into a tight hug.

Grace placed a kiss to top of Mary’s blonde wavy hair and Will held her hand gently.

Once Grace and Will let go of Mary, Colleen brought Mary to her room as Bill sat down with the other tow.

Bill started explaining Mary’s hearing loss to Grace and Will and what they should do to make sure she can hear them well and that she may need them to repeat things.

Grace and Will both quickly nodded.

There was never a day that went by that Grace and Will didn’t treat Mary perfectly and have always been so good about remembering her ear and staying on her left side to talk to her, they both learned how to help Mary take care of her ear and what to do when she has a ear infection.

Will spent hours with Mary growing up helping her strengthen her shot on the right side because that is the side she has to play on with her ear, she can’t hear well enough if she played on the left wing or center so she had to play right wing.

Yeah, so, when it comes to Jessica-esque characters, my first thought would have been Vil. it seems fitting, no? With Jessica embodying the type of fantasy that is sultry, unattainably attractive, all femme fatale rather than approachably sweet ingenue (which would fit Neige.) Vil and Jessica struggle with the type of characteristics or beliefs that people ascribe to their types of beauty–where Niege is a Prince, boy next door, sweetheart type fantasy, Vil would be an altogether different type. The same type Jessica was drawn to represent. So you would think, if I thought, hey, I love Vil, he’s my favorite character, I love Who Framed Roger Rabbit, it’s an excellent movie, that I would have a Vil-focused au, right? And it would work! I would probably place Rook in the Roger Rabbit role, they got that dynamic down. 

But I don't know, I just, really, really vibed with the idea of a Jamil as Jessica au, and in part, it is because he also operates in a way similar enough to Jessica. Not in-game, in terms of beauty, but visually, let's be real, he’s one of the most gorgeously designed characters. And that is something that could be a struggle, because he’s beautiful, and he’s a servant. People look at Jessica and think certain things about her and her relationship with Roger. They think, “oh, Roger is an A-list toon, it's probably the money” or something similar. They don’t think a woman like Jessica could be a faithful or loving wife. For Jamil, it’s not exactly the same. But if he was to be in a relationship with Kalim, someone everyone else views as naive, trusting, and far too kind, they would think, “no way jamil actually loves him. He’s using him for money, power, status, it’s a scheme, etc etc” They would think he's a social climber, a gold digger, a servant who rose up far beyond his station. They would think all sorts of cruel things, and yet, they would also have to acknowledge that 

1) Jamil is a valuable asset. He’s a powerful mage, a clever guy, and extremely competent 

2) He’s objectively gorgeous (and he has a silver tongue)

So there is also that envy of Kalim for having Jamil, while also pity, because “you poor fool, he’s betrayed you before, he’s not sincere about you. About this.”

the way jessica's looks seem to elicit two main reactions from non-cartoons. on the one hand every man is immediately infatuated with her sultriness, but also for that same reason they pity roger because there's no way that a woman like her could be a faithful and loving wife. and in the same way i think everyone would admire kalim for having such a great asset as jamil because he's so smart and talented. and also one of the most beautiful people to ever exist uh? who said that??? anyway... they would also pity kalim for trusting jamil so blindly when he has already betrayed him in the past. which would frustrate jamil both because of how he gets treated as if he is nothing more than a tool for kalim. and also cause his untrustworthiness would make it more difficult to get help if kalim got in trouble. kind of like it was for jessica

And so, this is a Who Framed Kalim Al-Asim au, with Jamil as a suspect (the way Eddie suspected Jessica in the movie) and this time, one of things Jamil has working against him is his Winter Break at NRC Betrayal.

I do have a bit more, about why outsiders looking in would think it's believable that Jamil would betray Kalim, and what the whole situation with Kalim is especially, but I feel like that may go into spoiler territory! Because this is a fic im trying to write! However, I also have a very bad history when it comes to finishing fics. I've only ever completed a Trobed Community NBC oneshot I posted anonymusly, titled "letters to odysseus, lost at sea" and i have countless other fics in the working (one trobed otgw au, one rkvl fic, one catervil fic, and of course, epic leovil au) so no promises! If you want to ask more about the au, feel free to send asks or even the dms, chances are I will end up answering them even if they toe spoiler territory lmao

but, one thing about this au! i dont know if the detective is going to be an Oc, or if you all think it should be a graduated NRC student! i toyed with the idea of Deuce, because i love him, and think private investigator deuce is so much fun, especially since it was the local police chief i think, that helped deuce come to terms with being a model student over a delinquent. and of course, where deuce is, i like to think epel is not far behind! idk, maybe i'll put up a poll.

also! i am curious! i know you came around to the idea of jessica jamil and kalim as roger, but hearing that initially you had your doubts about their assigned roles, honestly it has me intrigued! what was it about them that you felt didnt fit? was it that you felt neither of the characters fits a role--like jamil and kalim were so removed from jessica and roger, that neither role would have been a feasible fit?

Or was it that you thought the reverse would have been more plausible--with kalim as jessica and roger as jamil? personally, i dont think i could see the latter option of reversing their roles working out--mostly because of kalim? like, i dont think i can see jessica kalim, putting the two together and tryin to enmesh them just seem like, trying to push two repelling magnets together to me, like, their vibes just, are too different i feel? but if you can see it working out and have an analysis for it, i would love to hear it as well! like i really wanna know your thoughts on the boys, because sometimes i get lost in the big picture and forget minute details, so it would be nice to hear what else you think!

What are your thoughts on the Blake vs Baloney thing?

I believe her.

I don’t think she would have gone down this route if she did not have good reason and a strong case. No woman, be they a-lister or ordinary person in the street, would do this to themselves and their family if they didn’t have to. The woman rarely wins even if she actually wins. Because the precedent has been set that allegations do not ruin men’s lives. I mean....look at who is currently president of the United States....him being a felon and adjudicated rapist was not enough reason for people to not vote for him.

As we have seen by the insanity surrounding Blake's case, people are falling over themselves to not believe her, to diminish what she went through, to deny that it could possibly be true because of whatever thing she did years ago. The narrative is that if you're not the ‘perfect victim’ then just don't bother and that is so damaging. Because if you complain then someone will dig into your past and if they find even the smallest sliver of you not being, I don’t know, basically the Virgin Mary, then you aren’t to be trusted and aren’t to be believed. It’s sick. What should matter is what happened in that moment when she experienced that harassment and nothing else. Being a bit rude years ago is - or should be - irrelevant.

Her amended complaint states that other women in the production also had reason to raise issues at the time and they are willing to testify. I don't know who those women are but I applaud their bravery in being willing to testify especially after seeing the way that Blake has been treated since the original complaint.

The online/media circus surrounding it is absolutely gross. I can only admire Blake and Ryan for biding their time and letting the legal system do its job. Unlike him (who lest we forget seems more focused on making sure everyone thinks she was trying to steal his precious film from him and is concentrating rather less on disapproving the sexual harassment 🙃) and his lawyers who seem all too happy to continue perpetuating the smear campaign, this time with even more people online willing to jump into the fray. From what I can gather reading posts from actual lawyers who understand how to break this all down their belief is that he's trying to win in the court of public opinion because he doesn't stand a chance in a court of law. Like I said, even if she wins, she still loses.

If I see one more comment saying ‘oh but Candace has a great breakdown of it…’ No love, Candace just wants your clicks and if you stick around long enough you’ll find yourself being driven down that alt right pipeline to MAGA-ville so fast your head will spin.

The conspiracy theories are all ridiculous. The 'she was in love with him and he rejected her' one. The 'Ryan was jealous and so he's taking revenge' one. The absolutely vile 'Ryan is controlling her and making her do this and she's in an abusive relationship' one. I even saw something on Threads today where a person was trying to say that Hugh and Sutton's relationship was the catalyst for all this because Ryan saw what could happen between two people who worked together...like...what? How that translates into him somehow persuading his wife to file a complaint of sexual harassment i have zero clue. I'm also pretty sure Ryan knows what can happen between two people who work together since that's literally how he met Blake!

The one thing that did make me laugh because it was absolutely THE biggest self own was when they tried to say that Nicepool was based on him and oh my god. Firstly, pretty sure parody isn't illegal (otherwise wouldn't SNL be being sued on a regular basis?) but also - if I was watching a film and I saw a character who was unbelievably insufferable and annoying and recognised myself in that character...you couldn't torture that information out of me. Because i guarantee when everyone was watching DP&W in the summer not a single person was looking at Nicepool and thinking 'you know who he reminds me of...' BUT THEY ARE NOW. Idiot.

The braying mob online, riding so hard for a man who would never do the same for them, are so hypocritical and vile. They screech about Blake being a bully then go to the comments section of basically anyone who has anything positive to say about her or Ryan and write the most heinous shit imaginable. They don't recognise that the mean girl they are railing against is basically in the mirror looking back at them. Multiple fan pages on IG have either had to limit their comments or have posted to please stop bombarding them with hate. Ryan has limited comments and even Hugh's posts get their fair share of pro-Baloney crap on them and he's not even involved or been named in any of the complaints, he's just their friend. I don't know how any of it helps. It certainly doesn't make him look any better. I've seen multiple people say that if he really was the 'feminist' he claims to be he would have released something by now asking people to please back off, stop harassing women and let the law do it's work. So easy to do and costs nothing, and yet and yet....

One would hope that at some point the insanity of it all will calm down but I can't see it happening any time soon. I hope that Blake is able to have her day in court and I hope that the other women who say they will testify can screw their courage to the sticking place and not be scared away by all of this.

The more I think about it the more I'm confused about Snape's so called "redemption arc":

We don't know much about his years at Hogwarts outside of the time James hanged him from his underwear and he called Lily a Mudblood, but we know that:

1. He had a disdain for Muggles ever since he was born or at least ever since he was 10 y/o bc that's when he meets Lily and Petunia and treats the latter like garbage.

2. He was friends with Mulciber and Avery- known death eaters, especially Mulciber who we know was particularly close with Baldy due to the time he came to Hogsmede with him for his job interview with dummydore.

From that we can assume that he was a witness and a participant in A Lot of hate crimes against Muggle Borns ever since he was a minor. One of which was the time Mary was the victim.

3. We know HE invented the spell James used to hang him from his panties, which must mean that he used it against others, probably muggle borns, and his DE friends must've used it as well.

4. We know he invented the spell Sectumsempra to use against his enemies?? (Sorry it's been a while since I read the books I don't remember the exact quote.) and his enemies are almost certainly the Marauders. Also maybe his dad but that's a discussion for another day.

5. We know he was one of Baldy's dearest death eaters, even tho he was a Half-Blood with no status and no connections, which means he definitely did a lot of horrific things to Muggles and Muggle borns and the members of the Order of Phoenix.

6. We know he heard Trelawney's prophesy after eavesdropping in a bar, and immediately ran to Baldy with it. He knew that by telling Baldy about the prophecy an innocent baby will be killed, and he didn't give a shit. I cannot stress enough how much that information in vital for his character. Taking a baby's life so that Baldy might give him a sit closer to him by the table. And nothing would've happened to him if he shut his mouth and didn't go to Baldy. He didn't have his life or even his status\loyalty on the line. He just sacrificed this anonymous innocent baby for kicks and giggles.

7. The only point in which he cared about his actions was when Lily's life was on the line. This wanker really didn't care that he just gave Baldy (a man who made it his life' mission to kill Lily and the likes of her) a reason to kill Lily's son and husband, who were practically her only source of joy while she fought against his people in the war. He just wanted the girl he slurred and stalked and mistreated in high-school to live with all her friends and family dead. And thought he was doing something good. I don't even know how to begin to describe how fucked up that is.

8. He went to Dummydore and asked him to save her. After he got her, her husband and her kid to be under an even worse constant death threat than they were before because of Lily's blood status and their participant in the order. And after he spent the last 3-4 years killing Lily’s friends and the people who share her blood status.

9. That was also the point in which he offered himself to be a double spy right?? Again real heroic of him to risk his life after all the shit he did because he was in love with a girl whose life he ruined. He never cared about all the shit he did and all the people he murdered and he never actually wanted to help innocent people or do good by the world or even by Lily.

10. After Baldy died for the first time and the first war ended, Harry had nobody left, and Dummydore put him with Petunia and Vernon. Snape knew better than anyone else what the Dursleys will do to Harry. He knew everything, and he didn't do shit. Not only did he not do shit, but he also made things worse for Harry by bullying and harassing him since the moment he stepped foot in the castle.

11. Extending on the last point- Snape bullied, harassed, abused, mistreated and discriminated against students at Hogwarts ever since he started teaching there, I'm not gonna start elaborating on all the times he did those things because that would take a different essay of similar length.

12. If Voldemort chose to go after Neville instead of Harry, Snape would live and die as the most loyal Death Eater ever

So to conclude: am I really expected to forgive him because he loved Lily and had a hard time with James when they were 16 and he spied for Dummydore for a bit?? Being a loser in middle school and then becoming a double spy doesn’t make up for… anything. Especially since he never stopped being a terrible person.

1°: I dont like how the second a new character shows up, they are shipped with someone and especially with Luka and Alix, like, LEAVE THEM ALONE 😭, not everyone needs to be in a romantic relationship. I like wholesome, cuddles and kisses BUT its nice to have characters that arent interrested in that. Aroace Alix 🧡💛🤍🩵💙

2°: Not a fan/dont like Bi Mari. Personally i believe that Mari doesnt have an attraction towards girls, i think that she is painfully straight, i kinda dont like Mari also so. I believe that many people headcanon her as Bi/Pan etc since she the main character and shipped with everybody, also because WLW ships are cool. But in short, no Bi Mari for me

3° Kagami is WAY better than Mari, Mari along 6 seasons hardly got any character development, now Kagami? Oh ye

5° i dont like overly fem Marc that much- DONT KILL ME PLS. My dislikes comes especially from many fics of Wattpad, treating Marc like an "UwU bean", it's the stereotype of a gay men basically and i hate it, so i get flashbacks when i see overly fem Marc, it makes me a bit scared of how the OP sees gay men/androgynous people 😬. ESPECIALLY when the OP headcanons Marc as Non Binary or Trans, it unfortunaly feels like an excuse to make Marc even more fem😔. I love how Marc is androgynous and i love the fact that he can fit with basically any style, fem Marc, masc Marc, love all of them, but the way some people write/draw fem Marc makes me feels suspicious about them...

I have to agree with all of these, especially 1, 2, and 5. I hate how Alix is shipped with people instantly and we know that aroace people can date but only if they want to or genuinely interested in that. And it’s been shown that alix isn’t interested in dating or romance, that’s fine. As for Luka, he needs more time to be a character before he can date again, I wouldn’t blame him if I had a girlfriend like marinette, she was terrible to him. Also what’s with some of these people thinking Chloé has chemistry with either character and thinking that would be better if that’s canon. No ma’am, you can ship them but they don’t act like it should canon and thinking it would work. We need focus on them as individuals and platonic and familial relationships, not every character needs to be shipped.

I have nothing else to say about marinette other than, people getting real close and personal up on your space isn’t always romantic or shippy. Honestly I don’t see Chloé being a sapphic either, she just has zero chemistry with anyone and just because she’s a big fan of ladybug, doesn’t mean she has a crush on her, there’s a difference. Honestly I see Chloé being the type to experiment and then try to deny she does that stuff.

It feels weird and gross when people just make Marc nonbinary, just so he can be the feminine one for him and nath’s relationship. It just doing the heteronormativity on to them and it just bleh.

I wish kagami didn’t get up with Felix because that ruin her character to me, and as for 4… yeah you’re not wrong, I wish other characters helped marinette pick holders and why they deserve to be heroes instead of doing it randomly like penalteam gang, Felix, and Chloé.

I'm still on Neverland after the Wendy Bird Fell, so no wonder I ended up grieving again my lost OTP and fav character

Rewatching the Tinker Bell films with my 4-year old cousin (Lydia really hit it home lol), and I keep on thinking how this franchise was my first exposure to mix signals (I mean, not just in shipping, but in general), with how they kept on implying Terence and Tink's romance, but not fully committing to it until it was unfortunately cancelled... like c'mon right? You had Rosetta and Queen Clarion have cute scenes with their boyfriends, but Terence did not even speak. My inner ten-year old self is still angsty about this ship baiting. If y'all just want a representation of girl and boy just being friends, Tink with Clank and Bobble is right there! Ship what you want, but Terence was obviously framed as the love interest, and then they just did nothing with it!

Terence went from having these cute special scenes highlighting his bond with Tinker Bell since the first film, to a background character who doesn't even exchange a line or share a frame with his apparent (to the very least) best friend; Look, he was barely in GFR, but he was the first and last character Tinker Bell spoke to in that movie, and was part of the squad hanging out in the end; his presence and absence were addressed properly with respect to his character and relationship with Tink.

Afterwards... he was just there for a little fanservice in a few seconds. They started the mix signals or ship baiting by SotW when Tink looked at him at the start, and how Peri asked her about them (where she did not even deny if they're dating), yet Terence was with less than a minute screen-time and no spoken dialogue. It's just sad yk (Jesse McCartney was still credited tho lol).

I get that they had to expand the stories and characters somewhere else and he was really too kind of a character who already solved his conflict with the mc (where I think many could see as a mary-sue even tho he had his flaws and fights with Tink), but as the very least, bff character, he was just sadly overlooked. Like, why is he barely there in Pirate Fairy?? The whole movie revolving around his best friend literally is about his expertise lmaoo The writers had to throw away an already established talented dust-keeper fairy just for the plot they wanted like how they did with the concept of winter fairies in SotW.

In the end, maybe some people just don't like or care about him (which is sad, bc how could you not??), or/and the writers just wanted to focus on the girl group (or maybe Jesse's talent fee is too big who knows? haha) ... I mean, it's still good they left it open-ended, so people can ship and interpret it however they want (no wrong with that esp. since the franchise is towards a younger audience and promotes friendships more). My disappointment just mainly comes from the erasure of Terence's importance in the later films. They could have just done what GFR did; he's just a supporting character, but he was still treated as one of Tink's friends. He didn't deserve being shoved aside especially as one of the fairies who originated from the books, and her best friend.

Now, excuse me if I'll watch Lost Treasure for the nth time.

PLS I HATE THE MARAUDERS FANDOM I NEED TO HEAR ABOHT THE MISOGYNY IN IT 😭

I was about six when I became a Harry Potter fan. I have watched the films countless times, and did several re-reads of the books. I have engaged with the fandom in online spaces, on and off, for over 10 years now. I have seen the fandom in many different phases and I will say this - the fandom has always been incredibly misogynistic and paid the female characters dust. But it's insane how, as the years went by, we managed to regress even further rather than to make any progress and be better. 

The first point is the overall lack of attention the female characters receive. I am aware that the four main characters in the era are men. So, Sirius, Remus and James (I am excluding Peter from this because no one really gives a fuck) will inevitably get more attention and more content compared to everyone else and so will any ship involving them. However, there is no excuse for male characters who were barely mentioned and irrelevant to be getting more attention than characters like Lily, who is arguably more important to the series than someone like James. Furthermore, the fandom loves to pick up names from the books and flesh them out, give them lore and presence and that’s wonderful, I love that, I do that. But why is Evan Rosier, a known Death Eater, more popular in the fandom now than women like Marlene and Dorcas, who we know were incredibly capable witches that fought against Voldemort? If you don’t think this has anything to do with misogyny, I don’t know what to tell you.

Second point has to do with the overall treatment of women and wlw ships. I am so tired of seeing headcanons and fanfics where the women are treated like absolute shit to further mlm ships. Why are you writing Mary being SA-ed and having it covered up by Regulus? Why are you writing Remus and Sirius using Mary as an object? Why are you writing about James cheating on his pregnant wife with his little Death Eater ex-boyfriend during a war where people like her are being persecuted? And most importantly, WHY IS A GIGANTIC PORTION OF THE FANDOM GLORIFYING THIS SHIT AND COMING OUT OF READING THESE FICS AVID SHIPPERS OF THESE COUPLES? Stop using the female character to add a little bit of drama in your mlm fics and then throw them to the side when that’s resolved. 

And now about the wlw ships. Let me just say, I am a bisexual woman, who loves men and women just the same. A lot of your wlw ships are nothing more than smoke screens to 1) get women out of the way of your mlm ships or/and 2) try to keep a facade of caring about the girls and about anything other than mlm ships. Because you don’t talk about them, you don’t engage with content about them, you don’t create content for them. Especially with Lily, the only times many of you talk about lesbian Lily is always relating to your favourite mlm ships that conveniently involves her husband. It’s bullshit. It’s cynicism and I can’t stand it. 

So many people in this fandom sit on their little bubble, exclusively talking about men, with no interest whatsoever for the women but refuse to think about why that is. Why is it that I have absolutely no interest in any female characters?

It's misogyny because, unlike what some people think, misogyny is not shouting out from the rooftops that you hate women. It's the little things that we all have rooted inside us that makes us look and treat women a certain way without often realising we are doing something problematic.
